Isabela Naisha
Over the course of the last few days Aldric Cibre had been through a lot. Right off of the surface of Coruscant he and Quinn Leer, the girl who had visited him in search for news on her mother, had been kidnapped by Hutts looking to find information related to the loss of a Jedi Holocron that had been stolen from them. They believed they could black mail Aldric into finding out who had taken it... hoping his detective skills had come in handy, but they had missed one very important detail. He didn't like it when he and his friends were pushed... and he didn't react well when they were. In effect, Aldric had sabotaged the Hutt's efforts to find the holocron. It had gone well for his initial 'investigation' and the Hutts never suspected a thing. Unfortunately he hadn't gotten off world in time, and was separated from Quinn in Mos Espa. There had been a group of Goons sent after them, and Aldric had lured them away from Quinn, allowing her escape... but he was cornered and stuck in a fight that was clearly meant for him to lose. He had taken a couple of them with the aid of his stunner, but eventually they got too close and forced him into hand to hand defense... something he was un-able to use when one of the men stuck some kind of needle in his arm during a lucky blow, and soon had him writing on the ground in unconsciousness... still being beaten on and about to be executed with a gun shot... A shot that was never actually fired though. Somewhere along the way he had managed to catch the eye of someone who was actually interested in doing some good that night. His mind was too muddied to know what was going on really, but someone stopped him from being killed... instead the goons left, leaving him laying there to die on the ground in the sandy streets in the back alleys... one of them sure to kick him while he was out after Aldric had given him a nose bleed while defending himself. But there he lay... barely breathing but alive where he almost certainly have died if not for the person who interrupted...

Isabela had business in town, in fact she had business with the Hutts. It was necessary if you wanted to stay in business here or in good standings. She of course heard about the young man who had found himself in a tight little spot with the Hutts and now was being hunted. That was nothing new, there was always criminal activity on this planet after all the Hutts was the law not the republic. She had not gone out of her way to find the man in questions, instead she had come a crossed him being beaten. It was clear with him lying on the ground that he had been drugged and it was also clear he wouldn’t last much longer.
She didn’t know what it was about him, but she took pity on him. It took little to get the thugs attention, after all she was very well known for her money and her looks so that demanded their attention. After a few words and some money exchanging hands, the thugs left the man in the street. He needed care and he was going to need a lots of it. It took some more money but she was soon able to convince a few men to pick up the beaten man and take them to her home.
With the help of a few slaves, his shirt was removed and his wounds bandage up. Now it was just time to wait, after dressing for bed herself Isabela climb into bed next to him in order to watch him while he rested.

By the time he was being rescued by the mysterious woman, Aldric was already fully unconscious. He had been dragged away first to an estate which he didn't recognize when he slipped in and out of consciousness. Now and again his head would bob up and his eyes would open to get a look around the room, but he never stayed awake long enough to actually put very much information together before he was slipping away again... helplessly being tended to by Isabela's slaves without even knowing it.
His wounds weren't the greatest either. He had a couple fractured Ribs and at least one of them broken from the swift kick that the one man placed to his chest after Aldric had broken the man's nose in self defense. Even with Kolto... the healing substance that was frequently used in this timeline; recovery would take time after his wounds were wrapped and tended to. It was clear he wouldn't be going anywhere... if he even woke up after this within any reasonable time.
Since being brought in he had been tended to on the couch, and now had been moved to the bedroom. He gained consciousness after a moment, looking around, but his head was still swimming from the trauma and the drug both together. He didn't know what the drug was, but it must have been powerful and likely very illegal if it had this kind of an effect on him. He didn't get a good look at the room he was in, but he was beginning to notice that no matter where he was in this estate, there was always one woman in particular that seemed to be near him... as if she was the one watching over him.
His mind stopped trying to put things together at that point as he simply drifted into sleep once more while still laying in the bed... the pain clearly etched on his face even though he was unconscious. It wasn't comfortable, but he was far too weak to actually fight the sleep that pulled at him. He would stir now and again through the night... signs of a clearly restless night, but he never stayed awake for more then a moment at a time.

It was a good sign that he had slipped in and out of consciousness while her slaves tended to his wounds, which were worse then what she thought when she had first found him. It would take days for him to heal, which meant that Isabela would have to play hostage to him until then, something she didn’t really mind so much. It wasn’t’ often she was able to help someone else and looked forward to the task of watching him heal and be able stand on his own two feet again. Then of course there was the fact she wanted to know his story, how did he get mixed up with a few thugs like that and what had he done to the hutts to earn such a beating.
He was first tended to on the couch but then moved to a bed in one of her guest rooms. Someone needed to stay the night with him and Isabela had decided to take that. So she had dressed in a nightgown and crawled into bed next to him. She could see that he was pain, saw it on his face as he laid there, Isabela reached out and gently smooth his hair as she hummed hopping that he would help him fall into a deep sleep where he might be able to escape the pain for a while. As the night went on she was able to fall asleep next to him, waking up when he grew restless but went right back to sleep after he settled back down.

He continued to fall in and out of a restless sleep throughout the entire night. The back of his mind told him of course that there was something else in the room... perhaps it was registering the fact that there was another person right beside his sleeping and limp body, or the soft voice that sang lightly to him whenever he began to even remotely come close to waking up again. Despite the nagging feeling in his mind though, Aldric's body for once was winning over his mind. He had to rest, and rest well if he wanted to come out of this... and he knew it. So he let himself sleep... at least as best he could... and he didn't let himself register the fact that there was someone else in the bed right there next to him.
Aldric had a dreamless sleep... honestly he barely slept at all as he would wake countless time and again throughout the night; but only for a moment or two... not even long enough to really figure out what was going on before he was out once more. Whatever was in that drug it must have really had a strong effect... nothing like that ever worked on him so strongly. About halfway through the long Tatooine night though, he did give in and sleep a little more soundly, perhaps the pain beginning to grow less intense and a little more tolerable by this time.
He was still asleep well into the morning hours, it not being until the suns had peeked through the window and directly into his eyes that he woke at all. He growled a little bit, but immediately regretted such an action as he could feel the pain radiate across his body. The sun hurt his eyes, but not even close to as much as those men had hurt.... well... everything else the night before. He struggled but managed after a moment to come to, breathing shallowly as he glanced around the area surrounding him. The first thing he noticed surprisingly was that he wasn't in an alley anymore, but inside a well furnished bedroom somewhere. It was still hot, so to say he was still on Tatooine was a safe assumption in Aldric's opinion, one that was reinforced when he double checked the glaring suns shining through the window and counted both of them. It was only then that he noticed a few other things of note.
For one, he was no longer wearing his own clothing, but in fact was shirtless save for the wrapping around his chest... most definitely to help the ... he counted them... three broken ribs, and several other cracked ones. He smirked just a little to himself as best he could, but even that stung. Clearly he had broken someones nose or something, because that was evidence of a revenge kick.
Then came the next realization... above the bandages... what was that? An arm? It wasn't his... it was too smooth. He looked up, finding a woman laying right next to him, it all falling into place within a second. Clearly this was the woman who had saved him, was this her home then? He had to look around again, not really sure of anything yet but that seemed like a sound assumption. She didn't appear to be the one who patched his wounds though... whoever had done it was right handed, and it looked like from the way she slept that she was left handed. She had not ring, and he doubted she would be in the same bed with him if she was married, so he could assume that whoever had really dressed his wounds wasn't her family... and judging by the decoration he could assume she was wealthy... likely a servant then. He nodded to himself at the sound reasoning once more.
Oh... and she was awake and looking right at him. He paused a little bit, narrowing his eyes at her for a moment after he realized that. He spoke, his usually smooth and swift voice catching a little in his throat as he realized his throat was sore. "Who are you? Where Am i?!" Aldric asked, his voice straining a little to get through the words.

The man beside her woke and slept off and on all night long, each time Isabela woke up and did what she could to smooth him so that he would sleep again. He needed the rest if he had any hope of getting better and healing. Isabela was the first one to wake up, but she didn’t move instead she just lay there quietly and watched him sleep. Wondering once again what he story was, and how he had ended up in a place like this. He wasn’t what you would call a normal person wondering around Tatoonie. He didn’t looked like a smuggler or a gambler, no he looked very out of place in this harsh desert; though many could say the same thing about her.
After the suns were higher in the sky the man finally seemed to wake up finally. She watched as his eyes open slowly and even the look on his face as he started to take in the room around him. Of course he would be slightly concern about waking up in a different place, not to mention to find out that his own clothing had been changed, but to wake up in a richly furnished room like this one was would cause even more confusion. There were not that many places on Tatoonie like her home after all.
Finally he was realizing fully he wasn’t alone, and his faced turned to look at her. He finally noticed that she was in fact awake and watching him with interest. “You are in my home, I saved your life last night for those men were going to kill you.” She didn’t tell him her name right now, she would let him take a little bit of news at a time not wanting to over whelm him.

Aldric remained almost as still as a stone as he looked to her still for a long moment, his oddly colored green/blue eyes into her brown ones as she answered his question; though he had to admit she was being more then just a little vague about her answer at the moment. Immediately he began to wonder if she was trying to hide something from him, but at the same time he was fairly certain she wasn't hiding anything from him. He was good at reading even the best of Pazaak faces, and this clearly didn't appear to be one that was holding anything back from him. At the same time though, his head was still swimming enough that he probably wouldn't know better even if she was lying to him or keeping things away from him.
All the same though, she had left out a few vital pieces of information. Who she was and where specifically on the world of Tatooine was he for examples. Aldric listened for the moment, his eyes looking around the room almost thoughtfully for the time being as there was a pause after the initial answering of his question. "Yessss... i gathered as much." He spoke back, though his eyebrow arched as well while he looked to her, as if telling her in his own (probably rude) way that he expected more answers then just the simple ones she had given him.
"If you're worried about scarring me with my prognosis..." Aldric commented in reference to his current situation, though his voice scratched a little. "Rest assured i can handle whatever it is. And if you are worried about me knowing who you are, i am on a planet of outlaws and criminals, there isn't any profession you could be following right now that would surprise me." He commented back, his voice still weak and preventing him from talking as quickly as he normally did. Instead of pressing it any further he took a deep breath, letting it out with a wince as he looked down at himself now and away from the mystery woman laying next to him.
"Let me guess... at least one... maybe two broken ribs, and several fractures?" He spoke, showing that he wasn't at all worried about what had happened to him. At the worst, he would heal over time. He also wanted her to finish explain the other details now as well.

He wasn’t happy with the fact that she didn’t give him the full answer that he wanted, but it only caused her to smile. She laid there for only a moment longer before she slowly pulled herself up then slipped out from the covers and out of the bed. For the most part she was decent, wearing a simple green night gown which she covered up with a robe when she reach the end of her bed. “I take it that you are a doctor of some kind or you just done a lot of reading in order to try and diagnose yourself.” Walking over to the windows she pulled the curtains back to let in the sun a little more, then to another table where she picked up a bell and rang it. “Yes this is my home, you are just a little bit north of the main town hub of the largest city.” She turned back to him and went to set on the bed next to him. “Call me Isabela, are you hungry.”
There was no reason to hide anything about herself, why should she. Everyone knew of her on the planet and therefor knew all of her business. There were many off planet that even knew who she was and what kind of business she was in. “You where beaten pretty badly, but I think you’ll pull threw after a few more days. The questions however is why and who are you that the Hutts would send someone out to break a few bones.”
The bedroom door opened and in walked a young woman, her head bowed slightly. “I think we’re ready for breakfast.” Isabela said with a smile as she kept her eyes on Aldric.”Order anything you would like, my cooks know how to make almost anything.”

He had to admit he was a little surprised that despite his behavior all he got out of the woman laying beside him with the almost warm and welcoming smile. She broke the silence though, speaking lightly back to him as she tried to make her guess about what kind of work he did, related to the diagnosis he had just made in relation to himself. He glanced down at himself with a small roll of his eyes but shook his head, but didn't actually get to speak in answer yet. Instead the woman was moving out of the bed then, careful not to hurt Aldric in his current state before she pulled a robe over her rather revealing dress. Even in his tired state he had gotten a good look at that, and not for the reasons most men might want to see such a sight. From her body though he could tell that she was both fit, and never had to do very much hard work... at least not in a long while. She must have inherited all of this then...
Remaining silent he let her move to the curtains then, opening them. Aldric had to wince a little at the sunlight that was let into the room, but his eyes weren't so separated from the light that he had to let them adjust for long. She explained they were on the norther portion of the largest town then, which if Aldric wasn't mistaken was either Mos Eisly or Mos Espa. He nodded a bit, not thinking about it too hard for the moment before he leaned back into the pillow a little more, still looking very much uncomfortable. The woman then sat herself down right next to him, causing Aldric to arch his brow a little as she had drawn some more attention to herself. With that she had finally introduced herself as Isabela.
He continued to watch her carefully, having accepted her name then and let her continue speaking as she explained what was rather fairly obvious. He had been beaten as part of a mugging, and probably wouldn't have survived it if not for her own interruption. At her own question about why he was wanted from the Hutts Aldric could only chuckle a little; or at least smirk very cockily; actually chuckling hurt far too much still. He didn't answer though. Before he could one of her servants had come in, as if he needed any further confirmation that Isabela was a woman of power. Before long she was being encouraged to ask for any kind of meal; something that Aldric only answered with a small look upwards to Isabela. "Sorry if I Disappoint, but i really don't have much of an appetite." He answered after a moment. It was true. Was he really expected to be wanting a whole lot after what he had just been through the night before? "Something to drink... some kind of a Juice is the best choice." He commented in reference for it's healing properties.

Isabela sat down next to him on the bed again, noticing he wasn’t fully comfortable but then again who would be after the beating he had gotten. It would be days, maybe even weeks before he would have any real comfort in his body again. She had course felt his eyes on her as she had walked around the room, why wouldn’t they be after all. She was a stranger to him and he was in a strange place. Most men she brought home knew her, many of them in fact wanted to go home with her; for both business and if they could charm her just right then maybe a little pleasure. This man however was different he was not seeking a way to her home; or her bed; but she had saved him and brought him anyway. Now Isabela was making sure he remained calm so not to undo all they had already don’t to patch him up.
As she question him about why he was beaten, the man started with a chuckle that turned quickly to a smile since it hurt too much to move his rips. He didn’t answer her however, most likely due to the fact that her slave had walked in at that moment to get the order of food for their guest to eat. She wasn’t really shocked that he wasn’t hungry, in fact she would have been shocked if he was in fact hungry. Instead he asked for juice, to which Isabela smile and waved her servant off. If he could in fact keep the juice down the she would convince him to try some more solid food later. “Well now you know my name and where you’re at, why don’t you tell me yours and how you ended up in this situation.”

She was on the edge of the bed once more, sitting next to Aldric. Most people who cared about personal space would probably have been a little uncomfortable about where and how close Isabela was to him, but he wasn't most people. Even if he was he was hardly in a situation or position to really argue it. Besides that Aldric was so emotionally detached that it really wouldn't have mattered anyway, at the moment he doubted there would have been anyway for him to have become uncomfortable. With his 'order' the slave left, Aldric arching his brow a little at the thought. She hadn't eaten yet, she hadn't even stepped out of the bed until he had come to. Which meant she was trying to cater to his own whims. Interesting... but not something Aldric had any reason to mention out loud at the moment.
Before long she spoke again, asking him his name and why he had been found in his rather unfortunate situation with the Hutts. He paused a moment, looking up to her but shrugged. If she didn't know who he was, that was fine; and unless she worked with the Hutts closely (which was actually likely) he had no reason to fear telling her who he was. It seemed though he was safe from her anyway, or else she already would have handed him over. Besides that it seemed logical that she would have known at least something about him, after all she had taken his clothes which had his identification and other items of the like in it.
"You have my identification." He shrugged before he spoke the rest of it, as if that wasn't a factor. "My name is Aldric Cibre, I'm here from Coruscant. I'm a detective, the Hutts forced me into helping them recover something stolen, and it back fired on them." He commented, the last bit with a small smirk. He sighed lightly but did his best to shrug again. "Needless to say the Hutts weren't happy, and now I'm here."

Isabela didn’t really think about personal space, maybe it was because she had never been given her own personal space while she was a child. Sold into slavery at a young age her first master made sure she never had personal space as he was always in it. Her second master, who ended up being her husband, honored her personal space but often time she didn’t need it or want it. Even now she didn’t even think that Aldric would be bothered by her being so close to him; after all most men would want her much closer. He didn’t say anything about why she didn’t order any food, and in truth Isabela would have ordred something to eat if he had. Instead she would wait until she was in her room to get a quick bite; though she had spent the night beside him she didn’t think changing her clothing in front of him was a good idea. Though he didn’t appear to be like other men wanting to grab or touch her, she didn’t want to undo what healing had taken place by getting him excited over her exposed flesh.
Isabela knew of his name of course, she had gone through his pockets. In fact his personal items were on a table in the room while his clothing was being washed and mended. However she wanted him to tell her everything. “I do have your identification, but perhaps I want to hear your story from your own lips and not someone else’s.” His story slowly came out, first with his name and then his run in with the Hutts; though he wasn’t clear on the details. “So it would be wise to say not let you out in the public view for a few days, unless I want you beaten again.”

Much like he had predicted she was wanting to hear all of the news specifically from his own lips. Aldric for one preferred to learn things on his own, not from word of mouth where someone could lie about it, but that wasn't something he was worried about at the moment. He had no reason to lie to her, and she had no reason to suspect him of lying. Even if he had chosen to lie, she had his things, which would have proven anything out of his mouth false anyway. After he had given his abbreviated version of the story, she spoke again, mentioning that she planned on keeping him here and away from the Hutts. He only arched his brow but gave a slight nod.
"In my current state I doubt I would get far." He commented realistically. Normally he held a tone of confidence (some might wrongly say it was OVER confidence) in his own abilities; but in truth he was capable of seeing this situation for what it really was. If he was on his own in his injured state against the Hutts he would last a night or two at most. They practically owned the whole planet of Tatooine and the space around it after all, and he doubted he would be able to blend in quickly enough. Especially if he planned on finding Quinn wherever she was.
"I imagine those thugs you pulled off of me might forget to mention my survival to the Hutts though... That or you might be answering to them soon." He warned as he continued to let his eyes wander around the room for a few more moments.

“I have a feeling you’re the type that wouldn’t let a few broken rips slow you down to much if you had no other choice.” Isabela said in a very matter of fact voice, as she smoothed the blanket absentmindedly over his leg. “Those thugs were easy to handle, all they want is money they don’t care about anything else so I doubt they will say anything. If they do well I’m known for getting what I want and my way a lot of the time so I just have to smooth it over with the Hutts and they will turn a blind eye again. Not to mention I could always tell them I’m selling you as a slave, made you into a eunuch or some other horrible thing that will make them happy.” Isabela was of course teasing, well a little. If the Hutts found out then yes she would be in trouble and could lose a lot but she had been such good business with the Hutts she felt she could get away with this. After all they just wanted Aldric punished, if she told them he was to become an eunuch slave that would most likely make them happy enough to leave it well allow.
“I wouldn’t worry you’re head about it though, as of right now you are my guest and my home is your home. “ Isabela was willing to brush all this trouble under the rug for now. At that moment the little slave girl returned carrying a tray with several glasses full of different juices. She carefully placed it on the bed side table for Isabela to reach and hand to Aldric, then after bowing she left. “Any one catch your eye?” She was of course talking about the juice.

He had to smirk a little bit. She was right of course that he wouldn't back down so easily to the Hutts even with his ribs broken as they were, and with everything else the Beating had gained him. However, that didn't mean that if he was totally honest with himself he had much of a fighting chance against the might of the Hutts with such limited resources. The fact that Isabela was more confident about being able to fight the Hutts in a kind of battle to defend Aldric didn't surprise him. After all she had all of this, and on a world such as Tatooine if she had items like this, she must have had some kind of power with it. He imagined that said power came with enough leverage and prominence to be dealt with on a respectable level with the Hutts.
Before long though she was speaking as she explained he was a guest in her house, and to be treated as if he lived there. Certainly a kind sentiment he was sure, but he probably wouldn't notice the difference.. he imagined he would be spending most of his time in here until he felt a little better.
Then the servant was entering the room again, leaving the trey of drinks on the end table within reach. Or it would be in reach if he was capable of moving anything that far. Isabela asked her question, trying to see which one it was he wanted to drink from. He wasn't at all surprised that Jawa Juice was on the menu, and after a moment's though he determined that was probably the best choice for him at the moment given his bodies needs for healing. "That one." He pointed with a small nod, but instead of asking for it he was already aiming to reach for it himself.
