So he had been trapped in this time slip longer then she had, though not by much. However a great deal of work could be done in a month. It was clear he had wasted no time in getting what he wanted; such as the ship they were currently flying in, but also a team together called the Shadow Collective. Of course she had heard a little about it while growing up and in training. That was part of her education was to read about former Sith’s, masters and apprentices and any groups they had formed. You were to learned about them and find where they failed and not do it again.
“I am not looking for a new master, I am looking for an ally.” She didn’t need another master, something told her that her master and she would be reunited once again. Somehow he would end up here she could just feel it, and until then she would wait for him. However that didn’t mean she couldn’t be busy and maybe joining Maul was the best course of action. He wouldn’t be her master but her ally, she would trust in him and he in her; well as much as two sith could really trust each other. After all in times like these it was wise to have another strong person at your side. “I will join you.”

Maul gave Talon a neutral look, yet his tattooed face never looked peaceful. There was a permanent anger there, but it wasn't just a misunderstanding. Maul was an aggressive man and it was more of a default mode for him. "I'm not asking for another apprentice." Maul stated. He already had his older brother for that. Yet he didn't care about the Rule of Two. Some of the Sith rules were quite meaningless for him. He wouldn't mind taking another apprentice. But that wasn't what he was offering Talon. No, what he offered was more of a job, to be a part of his chaotic organisation.
It also meant he was already accepting her as an ally.
But that was how things worked for Maul. The world was either black or white for him. There was no gray zone. he didn't need long periods of time to decide if someone was bad news or not. Of course, betrayal was a fact of life, which he experienced it before from the only person he trusted. But he wasn't going to make that let him down.
When Talon accepted his offer, a twisted smirk was appearing on his face. It was certainly a dangerous looking one, as if he was imagining all the chaos they could create together. "Welcome aboard, Talon." He said in a silky tone now, his golden eyes were on the Sith Lady; as they kept moving forward in hyperspace. "You will not regret your decision."

With the look he gave her and his statement, Talon smiled as she knew they were at an agreement. She would not become his apprentice, she didn’t need another master nor did she want another master. Not that maul couldn’t be worthy of that title but she was happy with her true master; after all she had worked all her life to get to his side. With her acceptance however she was rewarded with a slight smirk adding to his welcome. Talon couldn’t help but noticed the slight change on his face when he smirked, it didn’t’ really make him look happy or even less deadly; if anything it made him looked even more deadly and scary. But Talon was finding herself like that and even smirked herself.
“I hope I don’t, “ Talon answered her own eyes locked on his now as she gave him a little smile. It wasn’t the type of smile a little girl with a crush would give but it was one that was knowing all too well what she was getting into. If this didn’t work out Talon knew how to get out of it, though at this time she could see how powerful the two of them would be working together. The galaxy would soon know who they were and tremble in fear from them. That was why she was smile, for nothing could stand in the way of these two Sith while they worked together.
