Talon didn’t like where she now found herself, she didn’t belong in this timeline and she hated being here. She felt slightly lost in this world and even more so without the direction of her master; it was as if her very purpose was in fact gone. In truth her purpose was gone, she had been born and raised to become a powerful Sith; to serve as the right hand to the Dark Lord and now well now it was all gone. He was no longer anywhere near by, in fact he would not be born for many years now; though her own birth would be much longer down the road than her master’s who had lived during the Clone Wars.
Without a real purpose Talon had been left to wonder the strange planet she had arrived on since her fall through the ground. She had been able to get some information out of the locals that she was no longer in her time line and that she was in a planet that was in the middle rim that really no one pay much attention to. It had taken a while to get this information for everyone cleared out of her way as she walked down the streets. It wasn’t hard to pick out that she wasn’t’ good news, after all not many people had yellow eyes and wore black robes if they were the nice kind of people you didn’t mind talking to. But even many Sith didn’t have red skin with strange black tattoos, no it was very clear that she wasn’t the type of woman that you wanted to cross paths with.
Unfortunately for a young Jedi had learned the hard way, he had been on this planet just to make sure everything was alright; for the people here had seen enough attacks lately; when he crossed paths with Talon. He thought himself a pretty good fighter but soon learned that Talon was better and his body was left to rot in the road. This had only been two days ago and now Talon was finding herself the prey of a few Jedi sent to find out what happen to their friend and to take down his killer. It wasn’t that she was scared of a bunch of Jedi, she had taken on Armies and lived; but it had been on her own terms. She didn’t know this land and needed to find an area she could work with; to make them come to her; so Talon lead her hunters away.

Great fortune came with a good number of enemies and a nice price over his head. Maul wasn't complaining about any of that. He needed antagonising factors in his life, like he needed water. It was the Dathomirian blood that boiled in his veins. They always preferred their life challenging or it was never worth.
As the Shadow Syndicate started to grow more powerful, naturally Maul was drawing more Jedi attention. Even when he took on personal visits to smaller planets like this, he had a tail behind him; following him wherever he went. This time it was a male human Jedi and a female apprentice. While they were cloaking themselves from the Force, Maul had already noticed their intentions without giving them a direct look. He didn't try to shake them off his trail with doing the same. Instead he wandered through the streets of the city with his black cloak on, hood falling over his face and hiding his demonic face. With every step, the large black cloak billowed behind him. Two Jedi kept a certain distance in between them, following after him. Of course, they wouldn't make a direct attack in such crowd. They were all so noble, not wanting to put civilians in danger.
While Maul's blood was burning as he itched for a fight, he had a few small things to arrange in the city. He could deal with them later on.
He entered to a shady looking tavern and approached toward the counter. The place was crowded and many shady characters were inside, some watching the new figure with interested eyes. His hood remained up and shadowing his tattooed face. As he spoke with the bartender in a low tone, Maul could feel his Jedi followers walking in as well. They sat down in the farthest table to keep up with a low profile. But Maul wasn't stupid. Drumming his leather gloved fingers down on the counter once, he kept with his talk. The bartender gave a nod and placed a metal cup of drink before him. Then he was heading the back room, as if he was to go and get something.

Darth Talon wanted to end her jedi hunters, she wanted to watch their life flee from their eyes as they fell at her feet. It didn’t take much to know that one was a Jedi Knight and the other was his padawan, if only they knew what kind of danger that Talon was they would have most likely sent someone a little more skilled to fight her. As it was she knew this fight wouldn’t last long and it was almost a shame, she was wanting a good fight right now. She had so much bent up frustration after finding herself on this planet that she wanted a way to release some of it; those two Jedi would be perfect. All she need was a perfect spot, though she decided as she passed a cantina what she also needed was a good drink.
Entering the dark room Talon removed her hood, smiling as the chattering in the room stopped as everyone looked at her. It was crowed, but Talon didn’t care in her mind this was a perfect place for a fight. The Jedi’s would be distracted and too busy trying to save the lives in this room, while she would be to glad to cut them all down. But first she wanted that drink, so turning away from the crowd looking at her she went to the bar and ordered drink; slowly the chattering started up again as her two Jedi pursuers slipped into the shadows to keep an eye on her. Once Talon had a drink setting in front of her she noticed that she wasn’t the only one in black robes in here. Stretching out her feelings a little she could tell there was a darkness about him even if she couldn’t see his face. Maybe she wasn’t as alone on this planet as she thought. But she also noticed that now there was four Jedi instead of the two she had come in with, it appeared he had friends that had followed him in as well.

Maul didn't need to look at the newcomer to guess what she was. He could feel it the moment, the Sith Lady stepped inside the dingy tavern. She was radiating her alignment so openly, just like Maul. But of course, this woman being a Sith didn't automatically make them allies. Though, that could change, now Maul could sense two more Jedi entering the place. There was no doubt they both shared a similar fate here, drawing the Jedi attention.
When the Sith Lady stood next to him by the bar counter and leaned against it, Maul turned his shadowed face at the woman only slightly. His hood covered most of the face, yet he could see her just fine. His lips were visible, though. They were in a serious neutral line, yet showing his red skin and a portion of the many tattoos all over the man. He spoke no words and reached for the mug before him, then took a slow sip.
The bartender showed up once again, coming out of the backroom with a small pouch in his hand. He placed it before Maul and then turned at the woman in black, asking for her order. In the meanwhile, Maul placed his mug back down and grabbed the pouch, weighting in his leather gloved hand before disappearing it inside his black robes. He didn't move afterward, still remaining against the bar counter and continuing with his drink.
"I see you brought friends." He spoke without turning at the Twi'lek, tone smooth and calm. He was never the most talkative person to begin with. But this was certainly a start for a conversation.

She couldn’t see the face of the man next to her, but she knew he had the same color skin she had and it appeared they shared the black tattoos as well. This of course did not make them allies or even kindred spirts, both where Sith and both knew what the other one was this came with not trusting each other right off. After all Sith had no real code among themselves not to kill each other; it was whoever was the strongest always walked away from a fight. Granted there were some Sith that formed groups and become allies; but sooner or later they fell to fighting among themselves.
Talon had to admit however she was slightly interested in the man standing next to her. She did not recognize his Force signature, so she knew he wasn’t someone she had run into in the past. There were not many that had their markings and so it interested her how he had come about them. Then there was the interaction between him and the bartender, what was in the pouch. Her wanderings however where cut short when asked for her drink order which she gave quickly before turning back to the man in black, who was drinking of his own mug.
She let out a slight sign of discuses before taking her drink, feeling the eyes of the jedis on the both of them. “What’s a party without some friends?” Talon replied with a slight smile, clearly not worried about the jedis that where there. Her drink soon arrived and she drank it quickly; tapping the bar with the glass to indicate she wanted another.

Maul kept his eyes on his mug of whatever bitter drink he was having. Even if it had a bad taste, he wasn't the one to complain. With his elbows resting against the bar counter, he remained silent for a bit more. The bartender was refilling the Twi'lek's drink in the meanwhile.
A few men were throwing interested glances at the red skinned woman. Some were directly staring. But no one seemed to notice the growing tension in between Jedi and Sith. Naturally, they were too drunk to understand a fight was about to flame up here. So no one moved from where they sat.
Maul didn't seem to get uncomfortable from all the Jedi attention. He knew they weren't going to attack him in this place. So it was up to both Sith to start it as they wished. Yet there was no rush.
He didn't smile at the joke of the woman, having absolute no sense of humour. But the idea of killing more Jedi was tempting, indeed. That meant he was going to side with this woman. The Jedi saw it as a noble cause to hunt down any Sith they could find. It was a foolish cause and a death of wish. If they were thirsty for their own blood, Maul would be happy to give them that.
After taking another sip from his drink, Maul put the mug down onto the bar counter. Then his leather gloved hands were reaching up to his hood, pushing it backward. His head was revealed, showing red skin and black tattoos. As seen in most of his race, he had no hair. No eyebrows. No facial hair either. But a set of horns were surrounding top of his head, short and sharp tipped. His yellow eyes were circled with orange colour.
They were an interesting match, sharing certain things in common in looks; along with the side of the Force they chose. Of course, none of this made them allies again. But they were about to see that.
Easily, Maul took his black robes off; tossing them aside. He was wearing a black tunic inside, along with black baggy trousers. A thick belt was wrapped around his waist, showing a set of lightsabers clipped in. His metalic looking boots which reached up to his knees were not actually any footwear. He didn't need to make any stretching to get ready for a fight. He simply turned his body toward the rest of the tavern. It was enough of a sign to make all four Jedi get up from their seats with worried expressions in their faces. Naturally, they didn't want to start a fight here. But Maul had every intention not to give them any other choice.
His hand reached for both of his sabers, as he unclipped them and rose them up at his face level; as he crossed his arms. Then both sabers were flicked on in the same time and his face showed the most threatening expression.

He didn’t smile at her slide comment, but it wasn’t that Talon was expecting him to. Sith’s didn’t have much for humor, there was no real point in it. When the bartender filled her drink Talon once again drank it down quickly, but she didn’t order another one. Though she felt the eyes of all the men in the room on her, she could also feel the building tension between the two Sith standing at the bar and the four Jedi watching. Of course the Jedi wouldn’t start a fight, there was to many innocent people in the bar to do that; so it was up to Maul and Talon when the fight would start.
Talon watched the man beside her every move, he put down his drink and pulled back his hood. She had believe his skin was red like hers, and even that he had tattoos; all from what she had seen around his mouth before he removed his hood. Now she could see that his whole head was not only red with black tattoos, but he also had horns that formed around his head; like a crown almost. His eyes were yellowed just like her and from the look of him it was clear he wasn’t’ someone you wanted to tangle with. She could feel the slight change in the air around the bar when he lowered his hood, there was fear. Many people started to look at both of them, wondering if they were in fact a matching pair. Even the Jedi was starting to wonder, after all the two of them looked as if they went together just from their looks alone.
Talon watched as he disrobed, knowing they were silently agreeing to work together at this point. With a smile on her face she took her own robe off and tossed it to the ground. She was wearing very little clothing, just enough to cover her breast and across her weight was belt which held a drape to cover the front of her body; as well hold her light saber. She wore leather boots that travel up to her thighs. This was going to be fun, she had been wanting a fight for a while now too bad it wasn’t going to last long. She pulled her own saber from her belt and activated it, That was when the room came to life, everyone jumped to the feet and started to make a mass movement out the door. The Jedi had activated their own sabers as well, but Talon wasn’t’ about to make it easy. Using the force she caused chairs and tables to start flying around causing more panic.

Maul could notice the Sith Lady beside him was also disrobing herself and revealing her lack of clothing. Her tattoos were crawling around her skin, something he was familiar with himself. Even if any other males would be distracted by her showing too much skin, Maul seemed unphased about that. At this very moment his whole attention was on the Jedi.
All four of them were now reaching for their lightsabers to start a fight. But one of them was going for the door to help with people running out. Maul didn't care for the civilians. He didn't need to use them against the Jedi. He was strong enough to handle anything and he was confident in himself to draw all the attention. Though, now there was a Sith Lady by his side. So he was no longer the source of all the attention.
He didn't feel offended by that.
As the chairs started to fly in the air, Maul made a perfect back flip in order to land on the bar counter and gain the upper position. His mismatched sabers were at each side of him, spread wide dangerously. Two Jedi were already making a run for him, one master and one padawan. They were trying to toss themselves at him personally, so the scared people in the tavern wouldn't be harmed and could get away. It showed how little they knew of Darth Maul. The Dathomirian didn't care about civilians getting involved in this. He was too skilled for using such baits in a simple battle.
Both the master and padawan stood before him, their sabers were drawn in a defensive position. "Turn yourself in, Maul." The older Jedi spoke, face brave. Or he was acting brave. It mattered not. "Then I'll promise no harm will come to you, until you are judged in the court."
The Jedi really believed in that. But Maul was rather annoyed by the words he heard. "You waste my time, Jedi." He hissed at the master and swung his dual sabers in a complicated and dangerous fashion to show off. "I'm going to make you pay for that." He hissed and jumped at both Jedi, using Force to leap over them; so he landed right after them. Not stopping for a second, he was powerfully kicking the younger one in between shoulder blades; making her lose balance and fall over. Then he started with serial lightsaber attacks against the master.

There was something refreshing from the fact that he didn’t stand there and look at her, something that many people had done and was even currently doing. Of course it came in handy at times to distract her opponents but to be fighting alongside someone not so easily distracted by her looks was welcomed. Talon’s own attention was on their four friends, and a smile played across her lips as they drew their sabers. She had no idea what kind of a fighter the male sith beside her was, but she felt confident that he was good; how else would he have gain so much recognition with his tattoos if not for fighting.
As Talon lifted the table and chairs to add to the panic in the room, Maul took the chance to flip backwards and land on the bar, giving him the advantage of the high ground. Talon decided to remain on the ground, enjoying the commotion all of this was causing. The younger of the two Jedi’s that had followed her had headed toward the door, clearly wanting to get as many people out as they could. Talon didn’t care about the people in the bar, they could all die at her feet for they were worth nothing to her; just bodies taking up too much space and air. However that wasn’t how the Jedi felt, they wanted to save innocent lives, so why not have their attention pulled apart a little by causing the very people they were trying to save drawn into the fight. It wasn’t’ because she felt as if she was unable to fight a Jedi master and his padawan, not it was because she knew it would cause them pain to loose a life that was in their care. Torcher was always fun, and the fear she was feeling flood the room only excited her all the more.
Of course she was not left standing by the bar alone for long, the jedi master who had followed her made his way through the room; pushing chairs and tables out of his way so not to be hit. His first struck was blocked by Talon’s saber and for a moment they held that position locked together, the Jedi giving her a look that caused Talon to only smile. He was so determine that he would win this day, that he would walk out with her in his custody but Talon had other plans, his blood was going to spill on the ground at her feet. With a slight push with her saber, Talon than stepped forward and the fight began. The two of them moving quickly through the room, Talon on the attack and the jedi in defense.

This shady tavern wasn't the most spacey place to keep up with a battle. There were too many chairs and tables, with the addition of people who insisted to remain inside. Some were even too drunk to be scared. Having courage from the alcohol in their systems, they started to fight each other; throwing badly aimed punches around. It was idiotic. But Maul couldn't say no to further chaos.
He exchanged powerful lightsaber swings with the Jedi before him, kicking at chair at times to make himself space. Soon he was jumping backward to get on a table, then aiming a hard kick at the Jedi's chest. It sent him flying across the tavern. But before Maul could jump after him to make the final blow, someone was at his back, wrapping arms and legs around his torso in a human cuff. Growling with fury, Maul turned around. Yet it was no avail. He used a powerful Force push like an explosion to toss the drunk man off his back. Then his attention was turned on him instead of the Jedi. Kicking a table away, Maul was now standing before the drunk human, then reared his one steel leg up in order to give a very powerful kick at his throat; crushing it.
Now he could go back to the Jedi.
His golden eyes were turned at the other Sith, who was holding her fight against the second Jedi master. She was moving fast and furious. She was good. So Maul didn't interfere. But there was another misguided drunk who was attempting to make a move at Talon. Though, the drunk human didn't seem like wanting to hit her. He looked like he was more interested in pressing his hands against the Sith Lady's hips. But before his hands could come to any contact, Maul was grabbing the man in the collar and yanking him backward. Easily, he tossed him across the tavern; aiming for some other drunk men who were fighting.

Some people had run out the doors when the fighting had started, others stay and place bets and many others started to fight among each other. The padawan that had come with the Jedi that Talon was fighting worked hard to convince many of the people to leave, trying to secure their safety. It was clear the young padawan was not comfortable in fighting, and most likely had only had a few short years of training. It had been foolish of his master to bring him on this mission, for he would die today for sure. Talon smiled as she kept up her attack, it was clear the jedi was wearing down and it was clear that Talon was the better of the two.
She became slightly distracted by the presents of a hand coming close to her hips, she didn’t dare look over as she went on to attack the Jedi; but she felt someone else close by. The Male Sith had moved quickly behind her and dealt with the man who was trying to put his hands on her hips. Talon didn’t thank him, didn’t acknowledge that he was even there. She could have dealt with the drunk man and didn’t need Maul’s help but she didn’t say anything to it, after all for the moment they were unspoken allies.
Talon went more on the attack now, flipping over a chair that the Jedi Master sent flying across the floor at her. The next item that came flying at Talon was a table, which she just jumped on then jumped into the air to come down onto of the Jedi with her saber. The force of the blow was too much and the Jedi fell down on his back, his saber toss away. Talon smiled as she looked down, ready to enjoy the final blow that would end his life. Her saber came flying downward but was block by another ligthsaber, the young man had come to his master’s aid. Talon sneered as she forced push him back. She would killed the young one first, let the mast watch as his padawan died knowing he couldn’t have saved him.

Maul wasn't expecting a 'thank you' in return. That wasn't the reason he helped the Twi'lek about it. Quickly shifting his attention back to another drunk man who ran toward him with a pathetic war cry, Maul seemed unphased about it and simply elbowed the running man in the face. Then he was drawing his dual sabers once again and turned his way to the Jedi was was fighting moments ago. The man was finally pushing him off from his landing spot.
The Dathomirian ran toward a chair and quickly climbed over it to make a jump at the Jedi, both sabers raised in his hands in an attacking pose. His attack was blocked in the last moment. A few serial saber swings were made, as both men kept their fight in a quick pace. While the Jedi was working on a strong footing, Maul was always moving on his feet; making turns and flips as if he was dancing in the battle ground. It was a dangerous move how he kept turning his back, but he was extremely good with his speed and blocks. After another turn, he flipped around himself and pressed his steel boot against the Jedi's chest in a hard kick. He could feel the ribs cracking under his attack. The Jedi gasped with pain and fell backward. But Maul was relentless. He didn't stop and went for the finishing blow. His darksaber was cutting down the Jedi from the neck and then he was dead. His padawan gave out a loud scream, which made Maul turn back at her. He had a cocky smirk in his face. But he didn't stride toward her yet. The young padawan was scared and terrified.
"Run, little Jedi. And find me when you are old enough." The girl was underaged and tears were running down her eyes. While Maul didn't have any sense of morality, he liked to play games. Defeating a helpless girl was no fun for him. It was better to feed her with a sense of revenge for years. Then she would be a nice challenge, if she chose to go after him. A slow process, but it was always worth the wait.
Then the girl ran away, exiting the tavern in tears.

The young padawan was no match for Talon, he should have known that when he saw his own master laying on the ground. He had been foolish to come after her, to try and stop her from killing his mater now he would die and so would his master. She heard Maul offer the young woman a chance to get away, telling her to come back and find him when she was older. It wasn’t’ mercy it was a different kind of torture; that girl would be haunted for the rest of her life of the death of her master and how she had been unable to save him. It would either drive her to become fearless and ruthless; maybe even turn her to the dark side; or she would no longer wish to be a Jedi. Talon could hear the movement behind her, the Jedi master was coming to the aid of his padawan, causing Talon to smile even more. These Jedi didn’t know when to give up, he should have ran while he had the chance.
Talon moved quickly with the padawan but didn’t kill him right away, she was toying with him. Their sabers clashing together, however she quickly turned and swung her saber when she felt the Jedi close enough. The movement caused the padawan as he watched his master’s head come flying off as Talon’s saber struck at his neck. Talon then quickly turned and thrust her saber into the padawan’s chest, turning it slightly as she watched his face twist in pain. When the life finally left his eyes she pulled back her saber, deactivated it and clipped it to her belt as he fell dead at her feet. There were still a few drunk fighting each other, and some that were trying to get others to fight the Sith’s but Talon ignored them. Turning her attention back to the sith male she looked at him for a moment, she had been impressed with his fighting skills. “I am called Darth Talon.” She stated as a way of introduction.

The fight didn't last longer after that. The female Twi'lek was quickly finishing up with the rest of the Jedi. But Maul still had time to watch them. Though, he had to catch some drunk man's fist without even looking at him, then crushing his knuckles in his grip. The man screamed in pain and Maul let him go. He didn't need a warning for running away. The drunk man simply flew out of the door.
Maul wasn't a man who was easily impressed. But the Sith Lady was one with skills. He gave her that. He certainly recognised talent, when he saw it. When the woman deactivated her lightsaber and turned at the Dathomirian, Maul could tell this impression was two sided. She was offering him her name. He never cared for manners, but the Sith Lord wasn't stupid to turn down a possible powerful ally. They didn't exactly help each other much in this bar fight, but it was not bad to fight side by side.
"Maul." He spoke in return, giving out his name. He didn't shake hands or make other friendly gestures. This was him already being friendly. At least, as friendly as he could get. "You fight well." He said, clipping his both sabers to his utility belt without looking. Then he started to approach at the woman, stepping over the stuff and dead bodies laying on the floor.

Talon could feel his eyes on her as she dispatched with the Jedi and his padawan, but she pay him no attention. She knew what he was doing, he was judging her by her skills and she was not ashamed of them. Nor had she been ashamed to watch him for the few moments she had caught glimpse of his fight. Talon knew she was skilled, just as she knew he was as well by watching him.
Finally the fight was over, the Jedi and Padawan dead at her feet, and Talon had introduced herself. She didn’t have long to wait to find out what his name was, Maul. She knew very little of that name but she did know it, it was after all the name of a Sith Lord long since gone in her time, but yet his skilled were still remembered. She tilted her head to the side slightly to look at him, if he was the same man as the stories she had been told then everything that was taught her about this Sith of old was true.
“I was raised with a saber in my hand.” She answered to his comment about her fighting skills, clipping her own saber back to her belt. “From the looks of it you were brought up the same way.” There was not many Sith’s in the universe that had been born and raised as Sith, many were brought up as jedi then turned to the Dark Side. Maybe this was how so many of them became so powerful because they knew the ways of the Jedi better than a person raised only in the darkness could ever understand. “It is my understand you are not from this time same as I and like myself you have attracted some unwanted attention.” As Maul moved closer to her, Talon did not move away nor did she appear scared of him. Instead her eyes became fixed with the mark on his neck, a bite mark. “What creature did you come across to give you that mark on your neck.” It wasn’t like one she had seen, well from any beast, it looked as if it came from a humanize mouth.
