The white door hissed opened, as he entered his study; then closing behind him. It was a spacey room with large windows allowing sunlight enter inside. From this height, the rest of the city looked beautiful and shiny. His desk was in the far side of the room, along with a comfortable chair. The style was so minimalist and modern, easy on the eye. Lines of white shelves were against one wall, a few books and small trinkets were placed on. It wasn't fully occupied yet, because Caedus recently got this place and he didn't have much in his possession.
Once he was settled down on his chair, he logged into holonet and started to catch up with the news and events. He was trying to learn as much as he could, so he could get adapted to where they were. Or rather when they were...
After occupying himself with a lot of reading and watching, Caedus was interrupted by an incoming call. The name brought a small smile to his face. His plan was already working. This was where he started. Putting the line on, Caedus gave a neutral expression to the holographic face appearing before him.
"Greetings, Senator." Caedus said and the gesture was returned by the middle aged man before him. The holographic image flickered once, but the transmission was steady afterward. "How can I help you today?"
Caedus was wasting no time since he arrived here. He got himself a place to stay in and met people in good places. With his sweet way of talking into things and skill in empathy, he managed to make friends to get him into Galactic Alliance ranks. He had every intention of taking back what he lost. It wasn't an easy task to get on top right away, but he was already doing his best. His other interest was a position in the senate. This senator was trusting Caedus and wishing to help him. So their conversation went on for a good fifteen minutes.
"I'll have my assistant call yours for a private meeting soon, Senator. Have a good day." With that, the transmission ended and Caedus leaned back in his seat with a slight victorious smile in his handsome face.

Tahirir let out a slight frustrated sigh, wishing she had thought about her lack of clothing before jumping in the bath; she would have taken the ones she had worn and dropped them in the laundry before climbing into the hot waters. Walking over to the dirty clothing she picked them up, made sure her towel was secured around her, and marched out of her room. She wasn’t really worried about Jacen seeing her like this, no her master knew every inch of her body like she knew his so seeing her in a towel would not be a shock. No she was more upset about the fact that she had not thought about this before. Of course she would have no other clothing choices right now, she had just arrived in this time line ; and even though Jacen had found a place to live him thinking that she would join him soon might not have crossed his mind until he felt her arrive. No she was foolish to not think of this before and knew that she would have to ask for some credit to go and buy some clothing either today or no later than tomorrow.
With the towel wrapped around her, and her dirty clothing in one hand, she went in search for the laundry machine. It took her a little while; discovering new things in the apartment that was now home. Once the cloths where in the machine Tahiri heading back to the kitchen, she had a while before transferring them to dry and for the first time since Jacen found her she found herself slightly hungry. Tahiri knew that Jacen was still in his study, she had heard his voice talking to someone when she had pass by a few moments ago, but she didn’t bother him there. With the doors closed she knew better then to barge in; no her request could wait until him came out. Until then she started looking around the kitchen for something that she could use to stratify her hunger.

Caedus pushed himself up from his seat and headed for the door. It was time to find Tahiri and see what she was up to. The door slid upward, as he walked by; then going down again. The apartment place was big enough, but it was not a palace in the end. He was able to find her easily. Yet it could be considered cheating since he was tracing her through the Force. And Tahiri was in kitchen. Of course, that made sense. Her food options must have been limited in that planet she had been stuck in. To Tahiri's luck, Caedus had filled in the kitchen with every type of food they could need for. They had no reason to get satisfied with less than this.
The door of the kitchen hissed open to allow the man in black robes walk in. As it was closed, Caedus just stopped there and leaned back at it in a relaxed position. His arms were being crossed over his chest, as he glanced at the sight of Tahiri before him. She was gathering some food with only a towel wrapped around her body. Her blond hair was damp, water droplets were running down her shoulders. While Caedus glanced down at her carefully, his brown eyes were going back to be fixed on her face again. He didn't look any surprised by his apprentice's half naked state. No one else knew what kind of a relationship they had outside of master and apprentice bond. Yet it was close... Closer than anyone could guess. And private.
"I want you to get me an appointment for tomorrow." The Sith Lord said with a neutral expression, as he watched Tahiri. She was always a beautiful sight. "They are eager to get me in Galactic Alliance." He spoke as if this was the most normal situation to have a conversation. "Once I'm in, the rest will follow." Of course, Tahiri was going to pose as his personal assistant. Wherever Caedus went, she was going to come along with him. She was a wonder with finishing the tasks he had given him. This was no different.
Tilting his head to the side, Caedus now looked at her bare shoulder. "Go for some shopping afterward. You'll need new cloths." Then he paused for a brief second, looking at her face. "You can borrow some of my cloths until you get new ones."

Tahiri hummed slightly to herself as she fixed something to eat, not bothered by the water dripping form her hair to her shoulders; she would do something with her hair after eating. The humming did stop however when she felt that Jacen was getting near, though she went on with her task not bothering to try and hide herself or what she was doing. When he had entered the kitchen she had just finished with what she was making and took a bite as he spoke to her about what he wanted her to do. She chewed slowly while he gave her intrusions, he wasn’t shocked to see her in the state of undress at all and went about it as if she ran around in a towel all the time; sort of like she ran around with no shoes.
She knew what he was after none, she would appear as his personal assistant, making meetings and taking notes for him; working by his side as always. It was a task to her liking and one she knew she could do well; besides not many would suspect her of anything else. Tahiri had proven her skills to fool others into believe she was something she wasn’t, she had done it when she first pledge herself to Jacen with the Jedi order. For the longest time they still believed she was one of them, allowing her to pass information to Jacen along the way.
“I will make those calls right after I’m finish eating,” she took another bite of her food and motion for him to have some, “I made more than I can eat myself” The atmosphere was once again relaxed between the two of them. Most apprentices would jump at the order given by their master, trying to carry it out as quickly as they could in order to not suffer his wrath; that wasn’t Tahiri however. She knew even though Jacen want these things done today he wouldn’t be angry at her for taking a few minutes before getting to them.
One thing she did jump at quickly though was his offer to allow her to wear his clothing until she could get something else. Thought towel was ok she was tired of fixing it, so leaving her food on the counter for a moment she matched to his room and opened his closets. Finding a shirt that would do the trick she drop the towel and pulled it on, it was much to big for her but it covered everything down to the mid thigh; it would work for now until she had her clothing clean and then by some replacements. Picking the towel up she tossed it into the laundry room on her way back to the kitchen area, she didn’t pause for him to see what she was wearing but went right back to her place and picked at her meal again.
“Is there a certain kind of clothing I need?” She asked between bites, wanting to know pretty much what kind of appearance he wanted to give off by what his assistance looked like. Did he want her simply dressed or dressed over the top with the long gowns full of beads and other things?

To his order for making an appointment for his place, Tahiri didn't rush. She wanted to eat first. Any Sith Lord master could be flaring up with anger, but Caedus didn't take that path. The edges of his lips were tugged upward instead. And when he heard the offer for food, he arched his brows a little. Glancing at the food now laying on the table, he tilted his head once again. Then the Sith Lord was pushing himself from the door he was leaning against, approaching at the thin rectangle white table with slow steps. Taking the seat across his apprentice, he brought a hand to pull the plate close to him. He wasn't exactly starving, but he could use some food.
But when he started eating, Tahiri was pushing herself away from the table; leaving the kitchen. Caedus didn't seem phased by her actions. Instead he kept eating slowly, having a taste of Tahiri's skills in preparing food. He couldn't say he tested this before. So it was a first.
When the door made a hissing sound as his apprentice made her way back inside, Caedus turned his face at her and watched her come closer to take her seat once again. She was now wearing one of his shirts -and nothing else-, which was looking rather over-sized on her. It was an interesting look for Tahiri, but Caedus certainly didn't complain.
His apprentice didn't even show off her new attire. She just joined him back on the table to eat the rest of her food. Chewing slowly, Caedus swallowed down the tasty meal. His brown eyes were on Tahiri, thoughtful. But then she asked him about cloths, what his preference would be. Grabbing a napkin and touching his upper lip with it, the Sith Lord didn't think much to answer.
"You are going to become the assistant of a new politician. So make it proper." He knew Tahiri would have an idea of what sort of pieces she would need to get. Though, Caedus felt like adding. "Don't forget the shoes." A small cocky smile touched his boyish figures with that. Not everything from Jacen Solo was lost.

It wasn’t the first meal they had shared together, nor was it ever going to be the last. The two of them had ate together many times, though most of those meals where in the morning or at night; they where both to busy during the day to really enjoy an afternoon meal. Jacen wasn’t’ phased when she left her food for a moment, and when she had returned he hadn’t really moved, just went on eating the food she had made. It wasn’t something really grand, just something quickly slapped together to settle any hunger they might felt until it was time for dinner. She knew how to cook, learning as a child to cook over open flames with the sand people, but she wasn’t the best at it. On the Star Destoryer they of course had their meals brought to them from the kitchens, here she had to wonder if she would be expected to make their meals; to which she could only hope he had a small taste for the foods the sand people enjoyed.
He wanted her dressed proper that meant business clothing; some pants and dresses; as well as some formal event wear. After all he would be invited to large gatherings and parties to which she would most likely have to attend as well; introducing him to others since it wasn’t’ proper to just walk up to someone and introduce yourself. At the mention of shoes however she made a face, one of discuss that she hoped would cause him to smile again or even laugh. She hated shoes, he knew that and she knew that was why he mention it. Chances were she would have bought shoes, the most conformable she could find and leave it to that; but he had mention shoes which mean she would need several pairs and the idea of what kind of shoes she would need for the formal clothing made her wince.
Turning herself slightly she raised her foot off the floor to look at it and wiggle he toes in the air a little. “Two pairs.” She was teasing of course she would get more but she figured why not have a little fun debating on how many shoes she would have to get.

Taking the last bits of his food, Caedus finished up. Then he was placing his used napkin over the empty plate. He was done for now, yet he didn't get up from the table. Instead he was making company to his apprentice, as they talked about little details of the future before them. Not that cloths and shoes were Caedus' speciality, but he could give some directions. Tahiri's habit of spending a life with no footwear was something he was aware of since they were much younger. People changed, but some things just didn't change.
Flicking his eyes down to glance at her wiggling toes, Caedus smiled. It wasn't a cocky or smug one, though. This one was more of a pure smile, something truthful and free from anything else. "Get as many as you want." He wasn't really spoiling Tahiri. This was a simple gesture.
Then his hand reached for his uniform to get something from his belt. Pulling out a rectangle shaped card, he pressed it against the white table and pushed it toward the blond. It was Caedus' card with a grand limit of credits. If Tahiri was going for shopping, then she needed some good credits. He didn't expect her to carry an kind of currency on her. Not after her lone days in that planet. As her master, it was his duty to provide her safety and comfort. It also meant he would need to take care after little details like this.
Then he got off from the table and headed for the door. "The number and the name are on my desk." He said lastly, then left the kitchen.

Tahiri was rewarded with a real smile this time over her comment about shoes, she had changed a lot since being a young girl brought to the jedi temple for the first time but would most likely never like wearing shoes. She put her foot back to the ground and fineshed eating, looking up as he passed her the card she would use for shopping. He shortly stood after that and informed her of the information she needed to make her few contacts today. She only nodded and watched him leave, before picking up the card.
True to her word Tahiri had made the call before leaving, in truth she had made several calls and had got Jacen invited to a fund raising event that would take place the next evening where most of the elite of planet would gather together. After the invitation was sent over; and she placed it on his desk to see; Tahiri dressed in her own clothing and left to go shopping without telling Jacen she was leaving. Most master would want a tight control on their apprentice but it was his willingness to give her, her freedom that helped to keep her loyal to him.
Hours later Tahiri returned, a man helping her with her bags dropping them off in the living room before leaving. From the looks of it one would think she bought out the stores, but in truth she didn’t really buy everything she could have. She had been wise in her choices and selections, making sure she had something for anything that might come up and enough verity to make sure when people meet her they were expecting Jacen to be something grand as well. Taking a few bags she went to her room to unpack and put the items away, it was after all more than clothing and shoes she had bought. She knew she needed things for her hair and items to wear under the clothing, even buying a few night gowns to sleep in as well as a robe; no house slippers though as she would spend the time in the apartment with nothing on her feet if she could.
Once unpacked she decided on taking another bath, this time pinning her hair up so it wouldn’t get wet and trying a some of the bath items that she had bought; making her bath water smell like roses. After a long while of soaking she climb out and dried off, pulling out the light blue nightgown she had bought and covering it with the robe, she went out into the living area. With her hair still pinned up she went to the kitchen thinking of something warm to drink before settling into bed for the night.

The rest of the day went without any important events. But Caedus saw the invitation that was left on his desk and he seemed rather satisfied with that. He always knew Tahiri was useful. She held good interaction with other people. Tahiri was certainly more than a pretty face. She was a good ally to keep around. Of course, she still had a lot to learn.
Holonet wasn't the only source he spent the rest of the day on. Caedus also searched on the new people he was potentially going to meet in the next day's cocktail. It was always good to know some certain details before meeting them. But that wasn't purely required. His empathy abilities through the Force was good enough for any task. Yet still Caedus did some research. It was the habit of long years. He just had to think of every detail and possibility before him, so he could make the best choice.
By the time Tahiri arrived and got herself busy, Caedus was finishing up with the last names in the invitation list. He had a good idea of everyone in tomorrow's event now. Feeling confident of his research, he finally left his study and headed for kitchen, where he knew he was going to find Tahiri. She was making herself a warm drink with some new things on her. So she didn't just get things to wear outside, but also for inside as well. Caedus thought it was good for her to settle in like this. She was getting adapted to this new start fairly well. Most people would panic and go through a deep depression. But she wasn't one of those weak willed people.
Perhaps, he could use his telekinesis to summon himself a mug, but Caedus didn't really do that. He just walked toward the cupboard and grabbed one manually, then approaching at Tahiri to give her the mug. It was a silent order to make him some.
"You did good today." He worded his approval aloud, so Tahiri could hear it by his voice. "Tomorrow will be important for our cause." He added and pulled a chair to sit before the table. Unlike Tahiri, he was still fully clothed in his previous attire; even with the Sith robes on. He had been too busy to get relaxed in such a fashion.
"You will join with me as my assistant, so I'm expecting your best tomorrow evening."

Tahiri made her drink carefully, humming once again to herself softly before Jacen arrived. It hadn’t really accrued to her to be bothered about what had happen to her, being sucked into a different time. Why should it really bother her after all, what was she doing so important to her life in her own time line that she wouldn’t’ be doing here. Granted she had been scared and worried when she arrived on that planet; only because she didn’t know where she was or what she needed to do. But once Jacen had found her, her mind had turned to peace and she was alright again ready to take his orders and stand beside him once again. If her master wasn’t worried about what had happen then she should be either.
Tahiri didn’t say a word as Jacen handed her his mud, only nodded and worked on preparing him a warm drink as well. It took her only a few moments before she turned and headed to the table where Jacen was already sitting, handing him his mug and taking the set across form him. At his compliment about doing good today she smile, it was nice to hear when she made him happy; after all she strive hard to do whatever he wanted of her. “I have already made a list of the people attending with little notes to help before I introduce you to people tomorrow.” She knew already he wanted to use his given name of Jancen Solo for now; as she had already given this name to those she contact today as well as some information about who he was. It was tricks of assistance to help their bosses; or her cast masters; so when meting someone for the first time or even the tenth time it seemed as if they had been remembered. “I will be ready and have already schedule the transport to pick us up, we’ll be arrive about a half hour after the event has started so to make an entrance.” Tahiri took a drink from her mug and settled back in her chair. She didn’t mention she had already chosen her dress that she was going to wear or anything about herself attending because it wasn’t about her it was about him.

Caedus pulled his mug closer, letting it slide smoothly on the perfect surface of the white table. With everything being too -almost blindingly- white was making a major contrast with the way he was dressed. Like all Sith Lords did, black was the favoured colour of Caedus. But starting from tomorrow, he needed to ditch his black robes and old G.A.G. uniform. In the place of his trademark outfit, he was going to get dressed more fitting for a senator. After all, that was his plan. A set of proper cloths for this purpose were lined up in his bedroom. It was a big change for him after all his military career. But Caedus trusted in himself enough for this.
Lifting up his mug and taking a sip from the hot drink, the Sith Lord savoured the flavour. Then he put it down and nodded at Tahiri's report on she was ready for this charity event as well. He didn't expect any less from her. She was good with what she was doing. Tahiri wasn't going to disappoint him. Her next line of words were to inform him that everything was ready just as he liked. While she took care of little details, Caedus was going to plan about the bigger picture.
"Perfect." He said with that small smile tugging at his lips. He was enjoying how everything seemed to be going to his favour. It was his duty to make it go the same way. But for the rest of the night they both had nothing to work on or worry about. He supposed they could finally relax a bit and rest for the next day. So they spent the next fifteen minutes drinking their hot beverage and having small talk about the new timeline they needed to adapt. It was mostly Caedus giving her tips and directions on what Tahiri needed to be careful about.
Once both mugs were empty, the brown haired man pushed himself up. "You better get some sleep." At first his glance at Tahiri was completely serious, perfectly regular. Yet in a moment there was a flash in his eyes, as if he was reconsidering something; thoughtful. It was when he gave her a lopsided smirk. It was a rather familiar one. "Or later..." And that was his invitation for Tahiri to come to his bedroom, rather smug and suave; but not worded in detail. She always got the hint.
With that he left the kitchen.

The plans for tomorrow where set, of course there would be a lot more to do when tomorrow came but for right now there was nothing else. Both of them had the evening free, so they sat there drinking their warm drinks and talking about other plans to set in motion and ideas of what to do. There was no real mention of the past tonight, after all Tahiri knew Jacen didn’t like to dwell on the past and liked it even less when her own mind was stuck there. They both knew her mind was on Anakin a lot of times, wondering about what might have been, but she kept those thoughts to herself and now with the real chance of changing the future so that Anakin wouldn’t have to die she was more willing to focus fully forward.
Once they were both done drinking, Jacen wa the first to stand up telling he she better get some sleep though a moment later a look she knew all too well came across his face. A slight fluttery of excitement sprang from her stomach as she gave him a smile and nodded slightly but stay setting for a moment. She knew he was inviting her to join him tonight in his room and both of them knew she would. They had had an arrangement like this for a long while now, neither of them mention it outside of closed doors and no one really knew how close the two were. At first Tahiri had gone to his bed because she knew he desired her and like everything she wanted to make him happy. However over the time they had this arrangement she had found herself wanting or needing the moments of passion they shared; she always felt better rested and her head somehow clearly after a night together. It also seemed the only time when Anakin was fully driven from her mind; even though the first few times she felt she was cheating on his memory over time that feeling was forgotten.
Tahiri stood slowly and took the mugs to the sink, the excitement even more present now though she tried to remain in control. Jacen was a wonderful lover, not that she had much experience with other lovers. They had spent many nights together on the Star Destroyer; in face Tahiri could most likely count on one hand the nights she slept in her own room; not all of them however started with a moment of passion and love making there were many nights they just went to sleep. She didn’t know what it was but there was comfort sleeping beside him. Of course no one knew of this, they had been careful to never display any sign of what happen behind closed door to anyone and that would be the same here.
Once the mugs were rinsed, Tahiri turned and headed toward his room; knowing she had made him wait long enough. She kept her face nurture as she step into the room; not knock first; and let the door closed behind her. She didn’t go further into room but a few steps before stopping, taking it in for a moment. It was much different than his room on the Destroyer but it was still elegant and very comfortable looking. Finally her eyes find his, reaching up she pulled the pins out of her hair letting her blonde hair cascade down her back before moving her hands to the knot at her robe. Once that was untied it slipped from her shoulder to the floor so that she was standing wearing only her new nightgown. If she mention she hadn’t thought a little of him when she picked out her new night gowns it would have been a lie; after all she knew he would see them and wanted to get something she hoped he might like.

The next day had started busy. Caedus had to deal with a few calls from important people and he made a few himself. Nothing useful would be achieved, if he remained passive. It was why he took a very outgoing route. He was going to make a name, so he had to work for it.
When the time to leave for the evening's cocktail arrived, Caedus was ready for the event ahead. He was dressed up in new and clean cloths, which gave away no relations to Sith Lords or Jedi. Th brown haired man was wearing a black tunic and fitting trousers of the same colour. A navy blue belt was wrapped around his waist. A long cape was draped over his left shoulder, made by the same navy blue of his belt. His hair was combed naturally, long enough to touch his cheekbones. Long black boots were comfortable and well polished. He really made an attractive and handsome sight.
As their private transport left them by the ballroom which was in one of the tallest buildings in Coruscant, Caedus stepped out first. Then he stopped and offered a hand for his assistant to help her out of the flying vehicle. He was already keeping up with a gentle manner and a charming smile, as he locked his brown eyes with Tahiri's bright ones.
The light and live music could already be heard from their stand point. The event had already started and they were right on time. All they had to do was enjoying the music and drinks, meet with new people and leave a good impression on them. This was almost pleasant after all the troubles they faced in their lives.

Tahiri kept herself busy with calling and setting up meets; mostly luncheons for Jacen later on this week. She was almost giving out information about him to key people so that soon the whole planet would be buzzing about him, everyone would soon want to know who he was and what to include him in everything; in order to make him part of their little clubs and show off.
It would be middle of the afternoon and Thairi finally left her work, putting it to the side and got herself ready for the night’s event. Tahiri decided on a dress that matched Jacen’s color he would wear for the night, the top of her dress was navy blue blending into black as the top curved forward and down the front; the small cap that wrapped around her neck then down her back was also navy blue. She was of course wearing black shoes that the moment she put on; in the transport toward the event; she wanted to kick them off. Her blond hair was pinned up and back into an elegant twist.
Before they arrived Tahiri had placed her shoes on, and was ready to exit but paused when she saw Jacen’s hand there to help her. They didn’t touch each other in public, but when her eyes locked onto his she felt calm and too his hand to climb down from the transport. She knew not to read anything into this action, they both had a role to play and he was doing just that, so once her feet hit the ground she removed her hand from his and straighten her dress. It was time to go to work, with the music filling the air Tahiri walked beside Jacen into the great hall. Her eyes looked around quickly, recognizing everyone important person in the room her mind going over every little fact she could about them; ready to feed Jacen any help he might need in introducing himself to them.

As they passed through the sliding glass doors and entered the large ballroom, the soft music could be heard better. There was a sweet mix of drinks' scent in the air, which was only faint. People were enjoying their drinks and the conversation in this exclusive event. It was time to get merged in.
The tall black haired woman by the door offered Caedus a smile and searched for his name in the holographic list she was holding. "There you are, Mister Solo. Enjoy the rest of your evening." She said and pointed her hand toward the crowd. Giving a charming smile, which reminded of his father's; the brown haired man walked in with his assistant by his side. At first they walked past a few unimportant people, then he was grabbing a glass with a light gold liquid inside. He didn't reach for another one to hand out to Tahiri. He needed his assistant all sober for the rest of the evening.
Then they began with meeting people. It was an elderly woman with amber eyes and giant pearl necklace who approached at Caedus first. She was in the senate and obviously had an eye for younger men. Caedus played along, offering the lady his best smiles and the gentle words she wanted to hear. His charm worked like magic. Not only he left a good impression on the lady senator, he made an another important friend.
As they exchanged soft parting words and promise to see each other again, Caedus had spotted the very many who he had been contacting actively since a week. "Senator Pasliy. A pleasure to see you here." The Sith Lord approached to the 'friend' he made a while ago and shook his hand. "Have you met my personal assistant? This is Tahiri Veila." He smiled, watching the senator took in the sight of the blonde. The elderly man gave a nod and a smile at Tahiri. Then they started on some conversation about drinks and music. Then there came the talk about other senators attending the event.
