Something wasn’t right, Tahiri could feel it in the air around her and as she stretched out her feelings she could really tell something wasn’t right, something was missing. Or really someone was missing. It took her only a moment to realize who it was, her master Jacen Solo; or as he was known to others Darth Caedus. Though she was not strong in the force like her master, she knew without a doubt he was not anywhere near; in fact he wasn’t anywhere. It was as if he has disappeared of the face of the existence.
Tahiri knew where Jacen was supposed to be and after wondering around the Star Destoryer for a while and feeling no different she decided she would go look for him. Leaving instructions with what she wanted done before her return, Tahiri took a small one person air craft and heading out to the location where Jacen had last been. The whole time she kept searching her feelings trying to find some hint of him somewhere but still came up empty. Once landed Tahiri was greeted with Jacen’s storm troopers as well as a report of what had happen. It had been a trap of sorts, with a snapper and clearly a Jedi or two was waiting to attack; but what was the strangest part of all of this was the fact that Jacen was gone, there was no sign of him anywhere or his attackers. This news did not set well with Tahiri, no one could just up and dispear like that and not someone was powerful as Jacen. She ordered the place to be search once again, promising punishment if anyone was found not looking; then went to the room were the fight had taken place.
She could feel what might have taken place, two forces had clashed here one Jedi and one Sith; but that was all that remained. There was clearly nothing else left and no sign of what happen to either party; causing Tahiri to really question what had happen. She paced the room trying to stretch out and feel once again what might have happen and any sign of Jacen; that was when the strangest thing happen. The room all the sudden grew black and the floor opened up under her feet; Tahiri didn’t even have time to scream before she felt herself falling. Everything around her was black and she couldn’t make out her own hands.
After what seemed like hours of falling, Tahiri saw a light beginning to form at her feet, small at first and growing larger as she feel. Quickly using the force training she had she forced her body to relaxed and form a shield around her; to take most of the impact when she fell. A while later Tahiri however found herself laying on her back and looking up at a canopy of trees, she could hear the sound of water rushing nearby but had no idea where she was. Setting up slowly she looked around, trying to figure out where she was; she could feel the fear welling up inside of her as she wasn’t able to make out anything that she knew. She was clearly on another planet and was now really lost.

Perhaps, he didn't need anyone around him. He was perfectly capable of taking care of himself. He didn't need anyone's help, not even in this new time he found himself in. But still, Caedus couldn't leave his apprentice behind. Finding a new one wasn't always easy. Then there was the whole fact Caedus actually trusted Tahiri. She was probably the only person who he trusted since a whle. She was a loyal woman. She was loyal to him. Thus, he was loyal to her. It was a mutual thing in between them. He wasn't going to ditch her.
Since the moment Caedus felt Tahiri's presence in the Force, he knew he had to go and pick her up from where she appeared in this time slip. He wasn't sure how she was dragged here, but it mattered not. Caedus was glad to have Tahiri following him anywhere. He might have doubts on taking her as his apprentice for a while, but she made him change his mind with her skills and determination.
The ship he borrowed from Coruscant belonged to a trader. He paid the man to use this for a few days. Soon he was going to get a better ship of his own. While he desired to get a Star Destroyer, that wasn't as easy. But Caedus had his plans for it.
Finally landing in the very planet he felt Tahiri in, Caedus stopped the engines; then left the cockpit. Jumping off the ship, he started to walk in a certain direction. He knew where Tahiri was and he had no plans of wasting his time to pick her up. In the meanwhile, he made his presence known in the Force. So she would know he was here.

Tahiri sat in the wooded area for a moment, unable to decide what she should do. It wasn’t that she wasn’t able to take care of herself, she was a very capable woman but being thrown to a new planet; not knowing it was a new time line yet; had thrown her off slightly. She was unable to figure out what had caused that tunnel or why it lead her here; or even where here was. After a while however she began to think a little more clearly and started to think of what she needed to do. First she would need shelter and food; water was easy since she heard a stream nearby. Basic things to survive until she could figure a way out of this place.
Having something to focus on help Tahiri pushed her fears away and clear her mind. She found a little out crop in some rocks that provided some shelter and with the aid of the force she was able to hunt and kill a few animals to use as food. Two days passed quickly and on the third she was ready with enough supplies to start trying to find a way out of the woods. After gathering what she could, using the knowledge she gains as a child living among sand people to make packs out of animal skins; Tahiri started walking in the direction, her shoes tied together and draped over her shoulders, she hoped would lead her to civilizations. She hadn’t gone more then an hour into her hike when she felt the change around her, a presents she knew very well. It caused her to pause for a moment and take a relaxing breath, it was Jacen and he had come for her. Her master had realized where she was and instead of leaving her to rot had decided to search her out and bring her out of her exile; perhaps that’s what it was a test he had given her to see if she would search for him. If so then she had failed and knew she would face his wrath but that didn’t dampen the slight joy of being free from the jungle. Quickly changing her direction she moved toward where she knew he was walking, walking quickly so not to keep him waiting. “Jacen” She called out when she saw him, clearly glad to see him.

Caedus arrived here alone. It was a journey he had to make alone. This was a personal matter and he was still a bit new here to build strong relations already. Not that he had a trusting nature for that. No. Being a Sith Lord brought loneliness. But he knew he didn't need to be that alone. Not when he could have his apprentice back to his side.
His heavy military type boots made their way through the damp ground. Trees were laying tall and thick ahead. And a storm was about to arrive, hit the area soon. He didn't care about getting a little wet by some rain. He didn't feel any cold either. He was still wearing his G.A.G. uniform and black robes over it. Maybe it was a sentimental thing, but he was working on it as he was working on many things at once. Since the moment he found himself in the past with Jaina, nothing had been going as he expected. But he could turn this to an advantage, if he played his cards right. But Caedus was a good player. He always thought a lot on his hand and options. Every single detail must have been thought, so he could weight them in comparison and decide the best route for his next actions.
There was no second thoughts, as he walked ahead. He wasn't in a rush. And he could feel Tahiri was doing good. She wasn't in pain. She wasn't hungry or thirsty either. Of course, that was expected of her. She was a skilled woman and Caedus trusted her for reasons. Being stranded in an unknown planet wouldn't be enough to make her fall weak.
Caedus felt rather proud.
And when Tahiri was in his sight, Caedus wasn't surprised to see her boots hanging from her shoulders. It was a familiar look, with how the blonde would ditch any footwear at any chance. His brown eyes were fixed on her and he could hear her calling his name... Not the name he used anymore. He was Darth Caedus now, no longer Jacen Solo. He didn't like it. No. But he allowed that slip once more. Caedus certainly didn't mind Tahiri using that name. She kept it in their personal and private time mostly in the end.
"You are fine." Caedus said, a small yet lopsided smirk touching his lips.

It was Caedus, or Jacen as she called him when no one else was around, she knew it had to be him. This wasn’t some trick of her mind longing to for him or for anyone because she was lonely. No a few days in the woods would not cause her to imagine anyone out of loneliness just yet, she knew what being lonely was like and could go days being on her own; but she would not suppress how happy she was to see him and know she didn’t need to. They were not what you would really call close, well not what they would call close anyway. They were loyal to each other and at times enjoyed each other company behind closed doors but that was it, there was no love between them and no desire for love. She did not miss his lopsided smile and gave him a slight one in return, they were in private and she could still see a bit of the old Jacen she knew growing up.
“You came for me, when I could not find you I searched but ended up here.” She motion for the area around her, felling the breeze kick up slightly warning them that a storm was coming. Tahiri did not like the idea of getting wet, a little was fine but in a place like this it would turn into a down pour quickly, but she did not rush Jacen to leave this place. They would leave when he was ready and she knew that. “I don’t know what happen, I entered the room of your last location and knew you had battle there but that you were alive but yet I could not find you, then the floor opened and I was dropped here.” Again she looked around before taking a breath and admitting. “I fail in learning where here is.” She hated admitting that she failed in anything, she wanted to make Jacen proud of her to be the apprentice he wanted. Oh she had her short comings like her not wanting to kill innocent people, she hated doing it but she would do it if ordered to. If this had in fact been a test designed by him she couldn’t help but wonder what would happen to her now for failing.

Tahiri smiled back at him. There was nothing further than that, even if they seemed to be alone in the area. No hugs or physical contact to show any sort of affection. Caedus had scanned the planet before he landed and found no trace of people. Only a few hundreds of exotic animals were residing in this particular planet. An interesting place to investigate indeed. Perhaps, when he was a kid, he would love to stay here and search for all the animals. But now he had no time for this.
"Of course, I came for my apprentice." Caedus kept up with his lopsided smirk, being cocky; somewhat reminding of his father. "I couldn't leave you here. Your place is beside me." Caedus said with a smooth tone, but certainly not lying about his words.
Tahiri's story matched with his. It was obvious she went searching after him, when he didn't show up in the time they discussed before. She was a good little soldier, looking after him. But the trap he fell into sucked her in as well. While this was not the planet Jacen crashed into, Tahiri still came to the same timeline. So the tunnel had to be the same.
Glancing around with neutral brown eyes, the Sith Lord listened to Tahiri's questions. He had the same questions not long ago. "It's a long story and we have a long way back to Coruscant." He tilted his head as in an order to follow him. They were leaving and Caedus was going to fill in the gaps in the ship.
As the cool raindrops started to fall upon them, they arrived the cargo ship he had rented from it's owner. It was not too big, but certainly not small either. There was enough space for two. A small kitchen and even a room to rest in. If Tahiri wished, she was free to use them. But once he set up their route in hyperspace, they would be arriving their destination in short time.

No sign of affection from either of them, though Tahiri would think that odd if there was any exchange of that kind. The two of them didn’t touch each other in that way when in any public view, not that in private it was really what you would call affection instead of just heated passion. No if he would have hugged her or reached out to her Tahiri would have assumed that he wasn’t her true master and attacked him, as it was he just smiled at her in the cocky smile of his to which she returned with small smile. “A place I honor greatly and glad to take up one again.” Tahiri answered, his smooth words claiming her putting her at ease that he was not in fact mad at her.
When he mention that her answers where a long story, more of Tahiri’s fears disappear and where replaced with confusion. Had Jacen in fact gone through what she had, if so then yes he would be able to answer her questions? However she didn’t ask anymore, he already told her he would tell her everything as they headed to Coruscant; finally a place she knew. So with a nod of his head Tahiri fell into step beside him, still not bothering to put any shoes on what was the point now anyway.
Once on the ship, that she knew right off was not Jacen for it lack the grandeur that was him. She didn’t mention anything about it though, she was just grateful to be indoors for once and not still outside. Knowing she had freedom to go where she wanted, Tahiri placed her items down and went into the small room to wash up a bit, after all she had been living in the woods for two days. Once her face and everything was washed that she could for the time being, she joined Jacen in the cockpit, setting in the copilot set and looked out at the darkness of space. She didn’t ask him to tell her what had happen, she would wait for him to speak first.

As Tahiri occupied herself with the small bathroom to wash up, Caedus was starting the ship and already taking off. He was always a skilled pilot and he could fly anything under his hands. The rain was getting thicker and thicker by the time they were rising up in the air. But the storm didn't catch them. He was quicker to leave the atmosphere. The pitch blackness of the space was around their ship now.
Fora while he moved the ship in a mediocre speed straight-forward. In the meanwhile, Caedus was entering the coordinates for Coruscant and preparing the ship for the hyperspace. He wasn't going to do everything manually, once he was done.
Coruscant was always his home and it was no different in this timeline. He already got himself a fancy apartment place in his favoured location. And his intention was to bring Tahiri there along with him. The place was big enough for two. She could use one of the rooms to her liking. It was different than living in a Star Destroyer. But they knew each other since too long. It wasn't going to cause a problem, he was sure.
Once Tahiri showed up in the cockpit, Caedus leaned back comfortably in his pilot seat and motioned for Tahiri's seat belt. "Buckle up. We are about to get in hyperspace." He warned her about the slight impact they were going to experience in a few. And then white light surrounded them, as their speed pushed them tighter in their seats. Now everything was in auto and Caedus decided it would be a good time to answer her previous questions.
"We are in the past, Tahiri." He started with his brown gaze on the blonde. But he didn't want to give her opinion. Not when she was too fixated on Anakin's memory. She needed to accept dead was dead and nothing could be done about it. She needed to get over that weakness of her and Caedus was planning to help her on that. "This is not Flow-Walking. We are way back in the past before any of us existed."
Pausing for a moment, Caedus allowed the information sink in Tahiri. Then he could continue. "I'm afraid I don't know who sent us here. But I failed to find a way to go back. But we can turn this to our advantage." Caedus didn't like the idea of starting over. But he saw an opportunity and he wasn't planning to miss it. "We can climb to the very top once again. But I need you at my side for this task." He didn't even ask Tahiri if he could trust her on this. There was no need to. Caedus already trusted her perfectly for it.

Tahiri had no fear with Jacen flying the ship, she knew he was skilled and could handle anything under his control. So when she sat down and was told to buckle up, which was a suggestion and not a command, she went ahead and fasten herself in. Moment later she felt herself sink more into the seat as they jumped into hyperspace, heading toward Coruscant. She knew of the plant and had even visited it many times; though her home was in the deserts of Tatoonie, she had never really considered living there but in truth she hadn’t considered any other place a home up to this point except the Star destroyer.
Tahiri’s head snap toward Jacen when he mention they were in the past, the familier feeling and hope of seeing Anakin again washed over her. Only to come crashing down as Jacen quickly explain they were not Flow walking like they had before, but where in fact in the past and in a time long before they were born. So that meant even though she finally went back in time, she wasn’t anywhere near saving Anakin’s life than what she was in her own time. The pain and disappointment hit her again like a ton of bricks; as the memory of his death and her unable to do anything about it came about fresh in her mind again. After all these years, and all that she had done she still loved Anakin and missed him every time she found herself with a spare moment to think about him. She would give anything to be with him again, and had in fact done just that. Turning her back on the Jedi order and siding with Jacen all in hopes to one day learning how to do Flow Walk herself and change the past so that she and Anakin could be together.
Tahiri was brought out of her thoughts as Jacen went on to tell her that he didn’t know who had sent them here and that he could not find a way back to their own time; but that he also had a plan to climb to the top again. Tahiri knew what he meant, his plans to organize the universe into a united order which would bring peace and insure no one else would have to die like Anakin did. It took Tahiri little time to believe in Jacen, and agree to help him and so there was no need not to trust him now. Even with the thought of never sein her own time again, and wondering if Flow Walking back time to see Anakain would even work now, she would stand beside Jacen and help him. “There is no need to wonder I will gladly stand at your side and help our climb to the top once again.” Her green eyes were locked onto his brown, he would know she was telling the truth and pledging herself to him once again.

It was expected from Tahiri to give that reaction. She was still so attached to Anakin's memory, she was going to jump into every opportunity to cling to his ghost. Though, Caedus could understand her pain. It was his brother, who they lost at a young age. And as much as he didn't want to admit, he missed him very much, too. There wasn't a day Caedus spent without thinking of the people he lost. Anakin was one. Tenel Ka and his daughter were the rest. It hurt him, made his heart ache to think of them. And there was nothing he could do to bring all three back to his life. So he held onto the pain, believing it was going to make him stronger.
So Anakin always proved to be a common pain for the master and the apprentice.
When Tahiri said she was going to be by his side in his new plan, Caedus offered her a knowing smile. "I have no doubt on that." He said with a rather suave tone, also cocky. But then he was back being serious again.
"Starting over isn't easy. All the fame and reputation I made before... Now it's all gone." He kept on telling Tahiri what he had in mind. But she must have been curious about what happened before he disappeared. So he switched topics.
"I was ambushed by my sis- Jaina Solo." He corrected quickly. It was a reflex to call her family. But now they were no longer what they used to be. He wasn't Jacen Solo anymore. "Luke Skywalker was aiding her." He added, trying to underline what kind of a difficult situation he was trapped into. "Our duel ended up in this timeline. At first I thought it was Luke who sent us here. But I no longer believe in it." Even the greatest Jedi in the entire galaxy didn't have that kind of power. Even if he had, he wouldn't be sending Jaina with him.
"The reason doesn't matter anymore, as long as we work on our result." Caedus ended his words with slightly arched eyebrows. The cargo ship continued toward the destination in hyperspace, providing the master and apprentice privacy in nothingness.

Maybe not all was lost, they were now in the past after all and could change what the future could be. So maybe just maybe from here the two of them could set acts in motions that would provide Anakin the chance to live when he did come into being, making it so Tahiri and him could be together. It was a long shot but it was still a little bit of hope that she would cling to for now. When she promised once again to help Jacen rise to power she was greeted with another smile with a slightly cocky tone; to which Tahiri just smiled in return. When alone there wasn’t really ceremony between the two of them, it was always a much more relaxed atmosphere which allowed Tahiri to see the old Jacen now and then; not just the dark sith lord he had become.
The moment of smiles was over quickly however as Jacen moved into a serious tone, stating it would not be easy to start over again. “But we can learn from our mistakes before and make wiser choices now.” It wouldn’t be easy, they were after all in a different timeline but they had a slight advantage they had study the past so they knew some of the important factors that had or would take place. “Will you tell everyone right away that you are Darth Caedus or do you plan to intergrade under their noise?” Tahiri was ready to hear what Jacen had plan and how she could help him, but before she could ask to many more questions he brought up the other subject she did in fact want to know more about; his ending up here.
Tahiri listen carefully as he explain that Jaina Solo; his sister though he was quick to correct himself from saying the word; had attack him with the aid of Luke Skywalker. Though Jaina was skilled Tahiri was more concerned that Luke had been there. Jaina was a threat but nothing that she knew that Jacan couldn’t handle, his uncle on the other hand wasn’t Grand Master for nothing. “It would have been a foolish punishment if he had sent you to the past, after all you could influence or change things so that everything Luke knows and love would be different.” Of course Jacen wouldn’t change Luke from coming into being to do that would mean that he wouldn’t be alive either, but now being in the past they had the chance to change everything they once knew for the better. “When does our work begin?” There was no doubt she was ready to work by his side again, ready to do whatever it took.

Tahiri was making such a good point now. They both knew the history well, studied it to know a lot of things before. Now they were a part of this history and they had worlds to shape in their hands. Caedus was confident in himself to bring such peace to the galaxy, if he was given the chance. But no one gave anyone this kind of thing in a silver plate. It meant he needed to work from the bottom and climb up. Now with Tahiri at his side, he could do that even easier.
"Correct." He said, rewarding the blonde with a rather boyish smile of his. Then Tahiri was agreeing about this not being Luke to send them here. It would be a foolish punishment, indeed. For her question about him revealing his Sith Lord status out yet, Caedus tilted his head to the side once. It was something he had been thinking as well. As proud he was to declare what he was to the rest of the galaxy, it would be always nice to test waters first. He didn't need to rush things. Making a search on how people looked at Sith Lords was a must. Either way, he was planning to make his way into politics in this timeline.
"When the right time comes, I will. But for now, we'll wait." Caedus was thoughtful once again, having the memories of his mother. She was once a princess. She enjoyed to be in politics and that was probably where it came from. But he pushed the memories away. He didn't need to remember such things in a time like this.
When Tahiri asked him when they were going to start, Caedus' expression changed into a rather amused one. "Soon." He replied. "First we need to get you settle in and I need to make some contacts."

Again she was rewarded with a smile and it allowed her to just relax even more as her own mind was thinking over what he had told her and how she could find ways to help him. She had to admit she liked moments like this, when they were talking and no pressure; no one else around. They could just be themselves and she didn’t have to worry about standing on protocol or being proper; or shoes for that matter. “In the past, or would ti be the future now, the darth sith was able to rise to great power over the senate and no one knew who he was until he wanted them to.” She was of course talking of Darth Sidious, he had been working in the senate for a great many years before he showed everyone his true colors. He had then gone on to rule for years, though he had become blinded with power and was foolish at the end. They all knew this story of course, how could they not when it had been Jacen Grandfather that was Sidious right hand for many years and his uncle that had faced both of them.
Jacen was right however there was a time and place for everything, it would be foolish to just go into a situation with guns blazing right away they needed to set back and learn about everything that was going on. When he mention that they needed to get her settled in she smiled warmly and sat back in her chair and closed her eyes for a moment. “I won’t lie a hot bath sounds amazing right now, I enjoy wading in a stream just like everyone else but you just can’t get properly clean.” Tahiri had done her best to keep clean but she was still wearing the same clothing she had left in two days ago and though she washed up there was still the appearance she had been outside for a long period of time. Once she reached the living quarters that was the first thing she would do was take a bath and put on some fresh clothing; not realizing just yet that she most likely didn’t have anything to change into.

Of course, the Emperor's tactic was something they both know too well. The man had been very cruel and power ridden in every way, but the way he played this game was clever. If he was able to gain so much power in his hands, it was because of the wise decisions he made through the way. While Caedus didn't like to be compared to Darth Sidious, that didn't stop him from appreciating the man's ways. His path was going to be similar... for now.
Of course, Caedus had no intention in turning into a second Palpatine. He was much better than that.
As their conversation turned into a lighter subject, Caedus just smirked at the mention of a hot bath. "Hang in there, Tahiri. It'll be worth your wait."
It took three and half hours for them to arrive Corsucant. Their journey was passed in conversation about many topics. They discussed their tactics and Caedus mentioned about his worries on his family members. There was at least one of them in this timeline who saw him as an enemy. A potential threat. But one person was never a good enough threat for him, unless it was Luke Skywalker. But even his uncle couldn't dare anything, as long as Caedus made himself before many eyes. And that was the plan.
After their ship landed and Caedus returned the trader the shuttle in one piece, then he was leading them into a smaller transport to head for the buildings in the center of the city. It was a rather fancy area of the city and the apartments rose into the sky, so high and white. That was where Caedus chose his new living quarter from. Nothing less could be expected from him.
The driver of the private transfer stopped at a rather large balcony and Caedus stepped out first. Shoving his black cloak backward, he looked back at Tahiri and waited for her to follow him. Once she was out as well, the driver disappeared with his floating vehicle. Placing his hand against a scanner, Caedus unlocked the door of the apartment place. It was the highest floor in this skyscraper, fitting for his tastes. As they walked inside, Tahiri could see the wide space of the apartment. The colour white was spreading everywhere, giving a bright and fresh look to the living quarters. The rooms were large and certainly many for one person to live alone. The furniture had modern line, but it was little and not crowding.
"Suit yourself in." Caedus said and headed for his study. He wasn't going to give Tahiri a tour. She could do that herself and pick herself a room to her like.

Tahiri had no problem in waiting for the bath now, she was freed from her exile in the woods and it would be a matter of time before she would emerge herself in the steaming hot water. The rest of the flight was passed well enough in conversations, both of them sharing thoughts that they would only share with each other. In no time they were descending into Corsucant and returning the ship back to it owner and then taking a private transport threw the city. Tahiri had of course been to Corsucant before but each time she felt like this out of place person, even though she had placed her shoes back on her feet and did her best to pin back her hair; she still felt as if she didn’t belong.
That feeling only became worse as they landed on the balcony of the tallest apartment building in the city, and if the inside was anything like the outside Tahiri knew this place was almost to grand for her. She had never been into big and flashy things, she had never seen the need to have such items partly because she never had had them herself. But once Jacen open the door and she saw how large and beautiful the inside look to took everything Tahiri had not to have her mouth hit the floor. Everything was so white and elegant looking, a far difference from the Star Destroyer; not to mention there was space. The star destroyer had been large of course but never was there really this much space just for her to live in; well her and Jacen.
“Thank you.” She muttered still in awe and glad he wasn’t willing to show her around, it gave her the chance to explore everything on her own and that was just what she did. Finding a large room for training in combat, kitchen and dinning, and a living area. Of course there was a study but she didn’t enter that for she knew Jacen would want sometime alone right now, so instead she went to the bed rooms. It took her very little time to find a room to her liking, one that was all decorated in pastels colors and had a very plush rug on the floor; not to mention a very large soaking tub in the bathroom. The tour ended there, as she turned the water on and fill the bath with different smelling salts that were just waiting there for her to try. Pilling off her dirty clothing she climbed in and persuaded to enjoy herself.
After over an hour she finally felt clean and relaxed enough, as well as slightly hungry. So with a slight reluctance she pulled herself out of the tub and wrapped herself in a large white towel, heading back to the room she went to put on fresh clothing. After opening the closet it was then she realized that she didn’t have any other clothing, just the ones she arrived in that were currently laying dirty on the bed room floor.
