Before long the transport carrying both Revan and his new apprentice landed on Tatooine. They would head for the famous cantina within the depths of Mos Eisley. The cantina was frequented by all sorts of shady characters. Recent stories told of a man that Revan believed to be a Sith Lord displaced from their own time. Further research narrowed the location of the Sith down to Tatooine. He hated this planet. Returning to it yet again would only add to his hatred of the giant box of sand. The sand was literally everywhere. Hopefully he and Jareth would be off of this planet soon. He had promised Quinn that he would begin to train her to take care of herself. It had been in her own awakening that he was not disturbed during his meditation on Dathomir. Black robes trailed across the sand as he made way for the cantina. Once again donning his mask, no one here was to know what he actually looked like. " If need be, be prepared to slaughter everyone in the cantina. I do not know of the power of the individual we are searching for. If he happens to be in the cantina, then we spare everyone. The only reason I ask you to do this is the possible need to incite fear.", he spoke to Jareth as he continued onwards. Jareth Sharl @mrsexy

They hadn't been on the dust ball for very long now, having recently landed their ship not far from here in the docking bay. Jareth once more wore somewhat respectable clothing, not tattered and damaged from his time on Dathomir prior to his stumbling onto Revan and Quinn. His clothes were light in order to keep cool from the intense heat that belonged to the planet with the twin suns, but per usual with his style it seemed to be fitting of royalty, while at the same time not overly drawing attention to himself. Although, two dark clothed figured walking through the streets of Tatooine should have been enough to draw anyone's attention.
The pair of Dark Jedi traveled together down the streets of Tatooine heading for the Cantina, Jareth just behind Revan and to his side a little as he walked with him. His lightsaber was attached to his pike, which he held loosely in his hand, swinging it back and forth as he walked at Revan's side. They had remained in relative silence now until Revan was the next one to speak, giving the order for Jareth to carry out. He thought about it, arching his brow a bit before he was nodding. "Of course." He said, perfectly playing the part of someone who didn't care. Both his aura in the force, the tone in his voice and the look on his face showed that he didn't mind the order at all.
His true self though has to sigh lightly on the inside. He didn't like killing people on mass for no good reason, but he had to admit Revan was right... as of yet they had no idea what they were dealing with, or the power behind it... though from what they had felt and seen it couldn't be good.

Mos Eisley was a shady world. The cantina within was even shadier, filled with questionable people. But that was the reason he was here for. No matter what title others slapped them, man-power was man-power. And he was here to find himself new recruits. After all, they had to be so desperate to come to this filthy place. Lucky for them, Maul had a job offer for anyone who desired to follow him. If they didn't want to join, when he asked?
Of course, then he would kill them.
Maul wasn't wearing robes at the moment. Instead he had his regular black attire with a thick belt around his waist. His large pants were reaching down his knees, revealing heavy steel boots. Or were they his actual legs? Now, that was a good question. His hands were clad in leather gloves and his both sabers were tucked to his belt. He sat in one of the booths with legs up, crossed at ankles and resting on a dirty looking table. A group of men from various races were around him, either sitting or standing; but certainly drinking. They were all seeming to be interested in what he was offering.
"Fame, fortune and power." The red faced man with black tattoos and a set of horns said in a calm manner. His tone was almost silky now, unexpected from his devilish looks. "You are going to get all." He continued, now crossing his arms over his chest. His confidence was obvious in his posture. He was facing a bunch of dangerous man, yet act all relaxed as if they possessed no danger toward him. They really didn't. "You only need to pledge obedience to me." He finished his words just like that and it was time to hear the answers.
While most of the men seemed interested in this deal, there was one who spat down to the floor in a insulting manner and cursed Maul in his own language choice; refusing to be obedient to anyone. Yellow eyes were turned at the man with idiotic behaviour and with that the half drunk man shot his hands up to his neck, as if someone invisible choking the life out of him. He gagged and tried to speak further, but failed. Only in a matter of seconds, he fell down to the dirty cantina floor; dead. Of course, this little act was able to scare the rest off. Even if they had doubts before, now they didn't.
In the end, the dead man was quickly forgotten. Each of them was promising loyalty to the tattooed man, while Maul looked unphased by any of this. He didn't even bother with making comments about the dead man or anyone not agreeing with him. There was no need to. It was only a small start for his bigger plan. Though, with the wall of new underlings around him, he could sense something in this place. Yet he didn't even change his posture.

He stopped in his tracks, and it was likely that Jareth had felt it too. The timeslip brought forces darker than anything that Revan could imagine. The dark side of the Force was exponentially expanding. There was already an untold amount of Sith, and the infighting was growing. There had been public talks of a fracture within the ranks. It was obvious that there was a lack in a balance to the Force. With such a happening, it was only a matter of time before something grand unfolded. Revan had already been sent on a mission to kill the Sith that made a truce with the Jedi. He had done so, but not before receiving valuable information. It was the same information that lead him to both Tython and Dathomir. Not only had he received valuable holocrons, but he had been able to fashion for himself a new lightsaber. " Whoever this is...be on your guard." He said this as he finally continued and crossed the threshold into the cantina. The onlookers were few. The disturbance in the Force had clearly been a physical display. Someone was moving a dead body from an area in the back. Revan turned to Jareth and motioned for his apprentice to follow him towards the back of the cantina. The Sith Lord would mask his presence only slightly. He wanted the to be known as someone connected to the Force, but not necessarily his ties. It would be more difficult here on Tatooine though. There were three very distinctive auras within the immediate area, and he was one of them. Jareth Sharl @mrsexy

The two of them stopped almost in the same moment as they could both feel the distinctive disturbance in the force. Jareth arched his brow a little, his head still looking ahead and remaining fixed on the Cantina that was now within eyes sight from the two of them. He had been monitoring the presence in the force for a while now, though he was being very careful to keep himself hidden in the force, something that was very synonymous with his skill set by this time. Even if this Dark Force user could sense Revan, Jareth wouldn't register to his senses, which would give at least one of them the element of surprise.
Jareth let a small sigh out as he continued to hold is pike, tossing it across his shoulders behind his neck a little as he rested his other hand on it as well. He nodded in return to Raven's comment, smirking just a little at the notion. "Wouldn't risk anything less..." He said, his cautious nature already playing out to be beneficial for this mission at hand. With that he nodded and followed Revan once more as he continued on to the Cantina, crossing through the front entrance to the Mos Eisly Cantina before he was looking around a little, stepping out of the way as a dead man was dragged out.
It was as if he had been strangled, but Jareth and Revan both knew better then to believe something so obvious. The room was quiet now for a moment, but it didn't take long for the patrons to go back to normal, the band picking up their music again before Jareth was stepping in further, stopping just short of fully being entered into the room as he passed the droid buzzer. "Should we split up?... I've masked my presence, if i am seen with you then it makes the illusion little more then useless." Jareth explained as he looked to the slit eye slots in Revan's mask.

It was clear there was the presence of another Force user around and it was approaching closer. While Maul couldn't get a grip of which side it was leaning toward, it didn't matter in the end. He had issues with both sides and he was aware there was a nice prize over his head. If anyone was after him, then he was going to face them; granting their wish. Perhaps, it would be wiser to cloak his presence and give them a surprise attack. But Maul was always too arrogant to keep up with a low profile and play games like that.
His yellow eyes glanced over his new minions, who were clearly expecting orders from him already. They were so willing to follow him for reasons and it was good enough for Maul. "Ready your ships and equipment. I'll give you coordinates in two hours." Of course, Maul had a plan to follow in his head. And he wasn't planning to waste his time. In this little time he gave his new men to get prepared, he was planning to deal with this visitor.
Most of the men turned around to do as they were ordered. But there were a few who would stick around to drown themselves in more booze. "You two." He made eye contact with two Whiphids, deciding they would be handy choices as bodyguards. It was the advantage of building himself a small army. That he didn't need to do everything alone. "Stay." His brother was more than enough before and he knew no one could actually replace him.
Both Whiphids gave a nod at him and stood by his table's side like good bodyguards. He felt the Force user approaching closer and closer. His one gloved hand reached down to his belt and his fingertips brushed against his saberstaff. Yet he didn't make any further move.
Only in mere seconds, he could see a masked man with black robes appear in his sight. There was no mistake it was the one he was sensing. It didn't matter, if this man came for him or not. If it was a Jedi, Maul would be more than happy to kill him.
His yellow eyes were locked on the masked man in a challenging way, watching his next move with pure attention.

"Search your feelings, and they will guide you.", he told Jareth as he began his approach.
As he converged on the location, the sense grew stronger. He could clearly see the man, and it was clear that the man saw him. Jareth had been right to cloak himself. The Force was strong with this one. The tension only grew as he neared, and he could see the man reaching for his side. It was at that point obvious that he was reaching for a weapon, but Revan would not have to reach for his own. At this point, Revan would still try to contain the situation if at all possible. Still, his hands were ready to call upon the aid of the Force if necessary.
Men had cleared out, and the cantina again grew silent. The band cowered in the corner as the two men were finally within striking distance of one another. Revan could easily deal with the guards that stood next to him, but it would leave him opened. If he were to take that road, he would have to rely on Jareth to protect him. Still, if this didn't have to come to violence he would not take the second option. In order to begin to assert himself, Revan no longer masked his full presence in the Force. To ready himself for any adverse reaction, he began to focus on the the connected energy within the air around him.
"The Force is strong with you. I am Darth Revan. I have heard tales of you. One in particular genuinely interests me. I hear that you are a Sith Lord displaced from your own time. If that is correct, I have a story of my own to tell. I am also a Sith Lord displaced from my own time. Furthermore, I come here to make a proposal. Are you interested in hearing what I have to say?"

Jareth only nodded in return to Revan's reminding guidance. Relying on the force was of course the best advice Revan could possibly give the man, to which he nodded in return before he continued into the room further, separate from the Sith Lord of legend in the future. When the Zabrack noticed Revan for the first time, he had his men already leaving the room, through there were two massive Whiphids, probably brothers it seemed, that he had ordered to stay behind. Jareth took note of them, narrowing his eyes a little as he glanced at them, touching both of their minds through the force but doing nothing further to them at the moment. Knowing that he had a connection to the two of them if he needed to was more then enough for Jareth to feel much more comfortable.
Revan was in the mean time taking the much more direct approach as he walked right up to the Dark Sider who was sitting seemingly calmly at the sable, no care in the world. Jareth continued to move around the room, the Band seeming to shrink back and exit already. Well that would mean he didn't have to slaughter anyone at the end of all of this should things turn out to go the wrong way here. Jareth for all intents and purposes though was still all but invisible to everyone in the room, having created nothing but an illusion of peace and calm around himself.
Within a few moments now, the conversation was beginning at the table, and Jareth was at the ready to put the two Whiphids out of commission if things went sour quickly.

There was no doubt the masked man came for him. His purpose wasn't making Maul curious. He had a lot of enemies, even when they didn't meet face to face before. And friends were not something he was good at making.
Once the nature of Force was revealed in the masked man, it didn't make Maul any less relieved. His hand was still resting on his weapon. So it was a Sith Lord. They could be sharing a similar leaning toward the dark side, but that didn't automatically make them allies. Especially with how Maul's former master wanted his head on a pike, he was very well aware he couldn't trust anyone. Not that he had a trusting nature to begin with.
The place grew quite, when the masked man spoke; aiming for direct to the point. The name wasn't all to familiar for Maul, yet the other man claimed to hear things about him. And it was true. But Maul didn't say anything to confirm it. Instead he was finally lifting his feet off from the table and placing them down to the floor. He leaned toward the table, removing his hand from his weapon. This was as interested as he could get. Though, if this Darth Revan started to talk about things Maul wouldn't like to hear, then well... There were options ahead. Most ended up with spilling blood.
His two large bodyguards watched this conversation unfold in between two Sith Lords. They were not aware of the third man's presence. But they were ready to get brutal, if their new boss ordered them.
"Speak." Maul said calmly, his yellow eyes were locked on Revan. Of course, he wouldn't ask the other man to sit down. Being gentle and kind was against Maul's very nature.

Using the Force, Revan pulled a chair closer to himself and sat down. He could not sense Jareth, but he knew that his apprentice was ready if events were to go sour. The Sith Lord eyed the corner and realized that they were now the only occupants of the cantina. Had this been anywhere other than Tatooine, the Republic guard would have been dispatched to quell whatever this was. Thankfully, they were not in Republic space. The man though of removing his mask, but the time did not seem appropriate, and he could not yet gauge the malice or intent of the Sith Lord in front of him. Still, he needed to sway others to his cause. The Sith Empire had too much infighting, and he would not continue to stand for it. The Sith as it currently stood was merely a dark reflection of the Jedi Order, and many did not really adhere to the teachings. Beyond that, Revan thought there were two many Sith all across the galaxy. " By starting your own outfit here on Tatooine it seems really obvious that you are not allying yourself with the Sith Empire. I myself am of a displaced time. Still, I can see that the Sith Empire will not last as it currently stands. Sith all across the galaxy for whatever petty desires lie within their hearts. I also do not ally myself with this current state. What are your aims? Whatever they are, I propose this...ally yourself with me. I am to make the Sith a more unified state. This infighting cannot be allowed to continue. Only the hierarchy seems to adhere to the original teachings. We know none of them. I aim to find them, and do away with them. They are not handling this infighting as they should." Revan took out a holocron. It was one of the the treasures he had taken from Tython. He would now allow for the Sith Lord to learn of its secrets as he once did. There was a world ripe with the dark side of the force. Ziost. He wanted to create a new order there. One that was free of the empty platitudes that the Sith Empire preached. He would purge the galaxy of Force practitioners that strayed too far from the teachings of either side of the Force. IT was his purpose. He could feel the power beginning to surge through his veins as he at long last discovered his ambition. Jareth Sharl @mrsexy

Revan was now seated at the table, Jareth paying close attention in case things went wrong. It was certainly a delicate subject to discuss with another Sith, and if this specific Sith was as mindless as some say then it could be an even more delicate situation to talk about. Jareth made sure to be on his toes, ready to spring into action as a surprise no sooner then anything went badly, just to be safe. He wasn't going to leave this to chance, even if he had no doubt that Revan could dispatch the Sith Spawn with ease.
In effect, Jareth reach out into the minds of the two Whiphid's standing at the ready to produce illusions for the each of them. In the event that Mual call on the two of them, they would only turn on each other, thinking the other one to be the foe that Mual wanted them to kill. Basically, they could mistake each other as Revan, and then kill each other. It was sad to think he could do such a cruel thing to two brothers, but it was better then them turning on Revan or himself. With the two Whiphids out of the way, Jareth and Revan could fully focus on the Zabrak at the table.
With Revan's proposal on the table now, Jareth stood at the ready, his eyes narrowed as he looked from where he was ready to spring into action if he saw anything go wrong.

Maul didn't care about Revan's face. If he had to cover it with a mask, there was a high chance he was a devil like him. Perhaps, there was another excuse for it, but he simply didn't care. He was more interested in hearing his words, since Revan had the guts to come here in order to speak to him. Then Maul was going to decide if his time was being wasted or not.
The main focus of this little speech was Sith Lords and their lack of coordination. But it was hardly a surprise for Maul. He had seen enough from his former master to know Sith were a selfish and unreliable bunch. There was no true order among the Sith.
Though, what Revan was offering was an alliance. He wanted to create some kind of unity. As much of an aggressive beast he looked from the outside, Maul always recognised an opportunity; when he saw one. Revan was here to ask him for aid, not to challenge him in a battle. Not that Maul would mind the second one for some practice and amusement.
Leaning back on his seat, he rested his elbow at the back of his chair. He never needed to think much on good deals. Maul was always straight-forward about what he wanted, except for when he was tricking others. Finding powerful allies was always a challenge. And it wasn't often they came to him so willingly. "I take no masters. Not anymore." He stated the obvious to see how Revan would react; already showing he was not a mere underling. Maul saw himself in master status now, even when his apprentice was dead. Perhaps, it was a sentimental clinging, but his apprentice position was still reserved for his brother.
"I'll accept your offer, as long as you accept my terms." His tone was smooth and calm, unlike the devilish portrait he drew as a first impression.

Revan absorbed Maul's words. The Zabrak had obviously been burned in the past, but he was not here to take up any more apprentices. Technically, he already had two and could not ask for better students/company. If anything, that had grown into more like his brother and sister. He could easily bck out of this now. After all, he hardly knew anything about the man. However, the desire to break clean from the regime was even greater. Again, he could see himself with no other apprentices.
"I did not come here to take on an apprentice. I came here to find a capable Sith Lord, and I have found one. May the Force be with us."
As he said this, he pulled a cup and drink from the bar counter and had the contents of the drink poured into his glass before setting it on the table before him. He then raised the glass in hand to signal for a toast. At that moment, it would be up to Jareth to decided whether or not to join the men at the table. Revan hoped he would. He couldn't see any deals being made with other Sith without his most trusted ally present.

Jareth had held his silence long enough, and then dropped the illusion from around himself. He kept his touch on the mind of the two whiphids just in case there was to be any double crossing from the Zabraak, but for the moment Jareth felt it was a comfortable a time as any to actually step into the situation. He was now visible to both parties as he stepped forward, passing the two whiphids as he set his staff down against the wall for only a moment before he pulled a chair up and sat down, straddling it between his legs as he used the back of the chair for a rest.
He took his lightsaber pike back in hand before he was spinning it between his fingers, giving a smile over to the Zabraak before he was pulling a drink from the table and to him, it hovering through the air before it made it to him so he could take a sip from it. "Sorry for the secrecy... but you have a reputation already my friend." He commented, not really caring what kind of impression he left on the man before he took another drink from the cup he had pulled up to him, continuing to spin the pike between his fingers.

As Revan spoke, Maul was locking him in his unblinking yellow gaze. His face showed no changes, when he got his answer. "Good. You just made a strong ally." He spoke, always confident in himself and now offering a small yet very dangerous smile. His way of stating his view on masters was not just about master and apprentice relations. He took no boss either. His time of taking orders was over a decade ago. An ally was about having mutual gains. This was only serving his plans right. Only soon enough, Maul was going to become stronger and take whatever he wanted. His Shadow Syndicate might no longer exist here in this timeline he was tossed at. But nothing was going to stop him from building a new one.
As Revan pulled a glass and raised it in a toast, Maul didn't join with the gesture. He was not a friendly person and being allies with him didn't really change the fact. He just watched Revan with careful eyes. Yet then a third person was joining them. Someone who had been cloaking his presence. Another Sith Lord. This new man joined them in the table, as the Whiphid bodyguards still failed to see him.
It wasn't difficult to guess why one Sith was in the hiding as the other took a direct approach at Maul. Though, the new Sith was pointing out at his reputation. Dangerous yellow eyes were turned at him with that. His previous smile was gone. "Keep that in mind." It could be read as a threat or a warning. But he wasn't reaching for his weapon, which meant he wasn't trying to pick up a fight.
Then Maul turned his gaze back at Revan, now placing his elbows against the table and bringing his fingertips together under his chin. "Tell me how you plan to unify Sith Lords." He was curious to hear.
