He could feel another tremor in the Force. So, the Sith Lord he met was not the only one to cause a great disturbance. It was likely that the timeslip was doing something else to the galaxy at the moment, so he brushed it off. Revan contemplated removing his mask, but he decided against it. He didn't know enough about this new ally, or whether he could trust him enough to move about so freely. After all, he had plans of his own. He nodded as the man spoke in an effort to show that he acknowledge him.
"Right, I have no plan to unify the Sith Lords. Rather, I have no intention of unifying the many. I believe that the ranks should be culled. There are far too many, and they must be dealt with. Soon the Jedi will discover that the truce has not stopped the Sith from increasing military might. I hope you have no problems with killing. Some of these Lords will be extremely powerful. Their presence feels like a wound upon the Force."
He hoped that the Jedi didn't discover what was happening. It was also part of the reason why he planned on building a new temple away from Korriban. If the Jedi discovered that the Sith were not adhering to the truce, it would likely lead to a war. So, Revan had taken it upon himself to cull the herd. Beyond the rampant growth, too many Sith were unorganized and seeking to gain power for themselves. There were already splinter factions, and Revan decided that those would be the first for him to take care of.

Jareth only continued to spin the pike in his fingers for several moments, looking over to the red colored Zabrack as he tilted his head a bit at the comment that seemed to be meant to remind Jareth of the man's possible destructive capabilities. He only shook his head, making a slight 'tsk tsk tsk' sound before he answered. "I said you had a reputation... i didn't say i was fearful of it." Jareth commented, knowing already from his time in the Clone Wars who this man was... it have all begun to fit into place, but he decided to say nothing and instead use it as a wild card up his sleeve in case he ever needed some kind of manipulation over the man.
Other then this though he just went silent, letting Revan explain the plans to the other Sith. He had nothing else to add to the conversation, and didn't want to risk riling the man when Revan had him where he wanted.

In all honesty, Maul wasn't disappointed to hear Revan's answer about his plans. He always looked out for powerful allies, but the fate of Sith Lords was not a concern of his. He wasn't feeling like a part of any group. He was a Sith Lord, yes. But that didn't automatically make him friends or allies with other Sith. But if this alliance could give more power to his Shadow Syndicate, then he was going to support it. All for selfish reasons, indeed. But that was the way of the Dark Lords.
Maul gave a feral smirk at Revan's words about killing. He certainly had no trouble with that. It was then his golden eyes were shifted toward the other Sith, who was claiming not to fear him. And perhaps, he really didn't. But Maul was still successful getting under his skin.
"I'd volunteer for certain names." He said, turning his tattooed face at Revan again. On top of that ever growing list was Dooku, of course. Maul would never leave that fearful scum to anyone else. His business with him was beyond personal. Maul once tried to make a deal with him against his former master, but Dooku lacked the guts to stand up against Sidious. Grievous was another name. Maul couldn't despise anyone more than that abomination. He would enjoy to kill both by his own hands.
((Whoops. Sorry for late reply. I almost forgot about this thread.))

"I don't think that any of them come from your time. They all seem to be firmly rooted in the current age. Well, I take that back...there might be several that appear after any of us. Although, as it stands, I am not completely sure. I hear talks that a new Sith Triumvate has recently taken power after the truce was reached between the Jedi and the Sith of this era. I was commanded to do away with those that were at the truce. Needless to say, they have already been taken care of. I know nothing of the new leaders. There are far too many Sith, and the disorganization has already lead to infighting. I have heard talks of others seceding from the Sith Empire. So, this dialogue I bring to you is nothing new. My overall goal is to remove the current power structure and bring the total number of Sith down to nine. This includes masters and apprentices. Those nine would be free to move about independently unless a matter of grave importance comes up."
Darth Revan felt no harm in making his plans known. The dark Jedi meant every word of what he had said. He knew it to be the Sith way to deceive, but he was against that unless it was necessary. Even then, there had to be another way. He did not want to have to deal in absolutes.

Jareth only fell into silence now as he let the two other's carry out the talks concerning the plans that Revan wanted to come to fruition. Jareth was keen on paying attention more so then he was on putting his own input in, knowing he could take more from conversations this way. It was also nice to hear the plans himself, taking on the third person roll in order to get a different angle of things.
Instead of speaking for Revan when Maul asked his question, Jareth just sat almost calculatingly as he looked between the two of them for a moment, and eventually shut his eyes to listen to the both of them, breathing steadily as he waited for them to talk. Revan went on to answer the questions, and Jareth sat back out of the way, still spinning his lightsaber pike in his hand, rolling it between fingers as it spun like a windmill. He really had nothing to add anyway, though he had to admit he was interested even now to learn there would only be nine Sith in Revan's new order.
It seemed bold to limit the Sith like this... even Sidius had in a way ignored the rule of two. And Jareth had to wonder besides that where he fit in... not considering himself a Sith made things odd for him, and Then there was Maul and Revan who apparently took up seats in this order. And what about Quinn? The training of whom had been shifted to Jareth now. Already it seemed that nine would quickly be filled... and then what?

Maul was silent for the while as Revan spoke of the Sith matters across the galaxy. It wasn't surprising to hear the numbers were increasing each day and chaos was spreading over. That was how he liked things, yet especially if he was the very cause of this chaos. Cutting off their numbers would give them less competition for one. Though, the number in Revan's mind was rather too short; it was able to make Maul lean over the table and lock his golden eyes with the holes that mask.
"Just nine?" He asked, then paused for a brief moment. "Who are the rest?" The second question was surely expected. There were only three in this little private meeting. There could be others Revan spoke already. As much as Maul failed to care for the others, there was actually one person he was sentimental toward. Of course, that would be his brother; whether he was here or not.
Then there came the really obvious question from the Dathomirian, which showed the colour of his race's true nature. "Who decides who dies and who lives? You?"

Though it couldn't be seen, Revan smiled behind the mask. The dark Jedi rolled his eyes before he shifted his attention between Maul and Jareth. It was obvious that he had their attention. However, Revan had no real intention of keeping ties with the Sith. This was instead part of his master plan to bring more balance to the Force. At present, the timeslip made for some grave concerns. Not only were the Sith already plentiful, but the new numbers raised even more alarm. Sith were any and everywhere doing as they pleased. Revan needed to bring about the culling, or Sith Purge as he privately called it. At this point, he knew that he wouldn't count himself amongst the nine. He would talk to Jareth about it later, and ask if he would want to be amongst the nine. So, as it currently stood, there was only one among the nine. Revan decided ruthlessness would be key in order to correct the sins of the current regime.
"Haha. How very observant of you. You are the first I have come to recruit. Ah! An intriguing question. No, I alone do not decide who lives and dies. The reason for nine is a democracy. At all times all members have a vote, and the vote is equal. As we gather more candidates from this point on, all will be decided by those votes. I believe that is more than fair. Of course, if you do not agree..."
Revan looked at his gloved hand and awaited a response. He was not there to cause any sort of conflict. At this point, this Sith Lord was his best shot. He needed those powerful enough to take on the current regime. He also needed those versed in brokering information. His real target was the fabled Sith Triumvirate. In his short time here, he had heard talks of there being three above the rest.

((O.O.C --- I'll skip my turn. Not much input for Jareth sense he's just watching, and it looks like those two need a little back and forth.))

The mention of democracy didn't have the right effect on Maul. He didn't believe in democracy. He didn't believe in equality. It was simply against his nature. He didn't need to spend time in Dathomir to be like this. It came with the blood in his veins. Of course, there was the effect of his former master in that as well. The old man could be posing as a senator for the Republic, but that was only a decoy for his other plans.
"I want my brother in the nine." Maul said with a hiss, his tattooed face serious. Surely, he was going to mention about Savage sooner or later. But of course, for different purposes. His brother might have been the older one; but he was Maul's apprentice and he would do as his master said. That meant more power in Maul's hands. There were always ways around this pathetic democracy and beat it to any shape they desired.
In the end they were getting into an agreement, while not seeing the things in the same way. But that was not always a must.
