I'll keep this simple, if you have any questions contact a mod please.
There are a number of Character tiers.
Original Character Rules:
Tier 1: Everyone automatically starts at tier one upon joining. You are allowed a total of 5 characters for Tier one. If you reach five Characters you must ask a mod for permission to move onto the second Tier.
Tier 2: You are allowed 3 additional characters, allowing for a total of 8 characters. If you max this number and wish to create more characters, you must ask the Admin for permission for any further characters.
Tier 3: This is when you reach your character limit, of 10 (unless given special permissions.)

Canon rules:
Tier 1 is allowed 2 canons (unless a mod gives other permission)
Tierr 2 is allowed an additional canon (again, unless the mod or admin says other wise)
In summary, unless a mod or admin says otherwise, you are allowed a total of 10 characters as you move through the tier system, all except 3 of which will be Original Characters.
