Emmi Daneb & Siri TachiComing from Conflict on Delemede.
The battle that Obi-Wan was returning from had been a hard fought victory. His men hadn't even been expecting a fight when they had left with him, and so the fact they had so drastically turned the tides there meant they all deserved a little rest. Delemede was safe, and the small warehouse sector that the battle had been waged from was recovering when he left; but if anyone deserved a restful break it was Obi-Wan Kenobi. He had lead the reinforcements into battle, and turned the tides of the fight, but that wasn't really what had been the most tasking part of the battle. Not for him anyway. It hadn't been until his arch nemesis, Darth Maul reared that ugly head of his that Obi-Wan really felt the effects of the fighting. Their duel had been fierce, and ended with Maul retreating away from Obi-Wan once more. But not before Obi-Wan's lightsaber was melted in the inferno, and he had suffered some serious injuries. When he landed on Dantooine, medical crews were already preparing to whisk him away. He could walk of course on his own, but that didn't mean he wasn't grateful for the stretcher that he was rather forcefully pushed onto. It was all pretty quick, but soon enough he found himself in the medical portion of Dantooine's Jedi temple, and soon after was out cold while the Healers worked on his new war wounds; the most interesting of which being the spherical pattern of Maul's horns placed in his chest. Obi-Wan eventually woke during a Kolto tank treatment, glancing around for a moment to see what was going on. His robes had been removed, the trousers and boots pretty much being the only thing salvageable about the whole outfit. Soon after waking they pulled him out of the tank and let him wash up, but no matter how hard he scrubbed that smell was still on him strong. From there he was left in his recovery room again, still weak but in much better shape then when he had arrived.

A day...at most. If that. That was as long as he had left Obi=Wan for, and as soon as he actually made it to whatever Jedi place had seemed to spring up on Dantooine of all places, he found out his master was already in the medical center of it. The man wasn't even in a war now, and he had set the new record time between them for arriving in a new place and getting put in its medical bay. If he was honest, he didn't feel great himself and he was more confused than ever over what had happened...his head was pounding like he had the whole processional drum band of Naboo in there, and his stomach seemed to want to stay permanently unsettled at the moment so he couldn't decide whether he was going to throw up or not. He was grumpy, confused and feeling ill and that was bad enough...now he was worried on top of it.
One of the girls whose name he didn't really have the presence of mind to remember at the moment, had showed him quickly to where Obi-Wan was when he made it clear he wouldn't accept any other course of action, and for a while he had had to wait as he learned that his former master was just coming out of a kolto tank - another weird thing to add to the list - and that he would be ready to see him shortly. They had wanted to check him over too, seeing how pale his face was and the slight tell tale signs of pain in his features, but that thought was quickly cut short with one of his trademark 'touch me and you'll regret it' looks. By the time he was finally being shown to where Obi-Wan was, he had practically worn a trench in the floor with as much pacing as he had done, half out of worry and half out of needing to keep moving so he stayed on his feet - Artoo watching his own master anxiously.
Before long, he finally entered the recovery room quietly and couldn't help but feel grateful for the familiar rush of security and comfort on seeing his former Master and best friend there - even if he did look as awful as Anakin felt, maybe worse. He shook his head ever so slightly with a sigh as he moved close to Obi-Wan's bed, a smirk playing at the corner of his lips.
"Well...that'll teach you to go off on your own, huh?" he eventually said with a slightly raised eyebrow.

Emmi had been on duty when the healers were alerted to Obi-Wan Kenobi's arrival. Due to the seriousness of the injuries, nearly all of the healers were on standby to help heal Obi-Wan, Emmi among them. Emmi had been the one to find Obi-Wan and bring him to the temple but since then they had only really interacted on one mission. Still, hearing that the Jedi was seriously injured made Emmi worried, more so than for a stranger. She aided the healers in attending to his various wounds and stayed close all while he was in the tank. When he woke up it had been her who had been assigned to his after care. Emmi was more than happy to attend to Master Kenobi to make sure he was alright.
However, what she had failed to account for were two very persistent Jedi who wanted to see him. The first had been Master Siri Tachi, who had cornered Emmi on at least two occasions to see when she could see him. The second was Master Anakin Skywalker, who had camped out in the waiting room until he was able to convince Emmi to let him go back and see his Master. Luckily, neither Siri nor Anakin had crossed paths yet. Leading Anakin back to the room where Master Kenobi was was a little awkward to say the least. It seemed that Anakin didn't remember Emmi from when she had found him and he was clearly flustered. The young healer was typically very good with dealing with frustrated loved ones but the combined efforts of Siri and Anakin had worn her thin.
Anakin went into the room first, speaking to his master. Emmi slid in behind him, glancing down at a datapad left to her by one of the other healers. Her eyes left the datapad and landed on Obi-Wan. "Master Skywalker was eager to see you, I hope you don't mind him joining us while I check in on you?" her tone was soft as she attempted to explain why she had let the man into his room. She decided to give the two a moment to see one another before asking Master Kenobi about how he was feeling.

Obi-Wan stayed fairly rested after he had been removed from the Kolto tank, not wanting to exert himself while he was being cared to. He was expected to make good recovery time, which was quite refreshing for Obi-Wan to hear. Despite the grueling duel he had been a part of, the worst of his injuries had been the puncture wounds on his chest from Maul's horns. Otherwise he was weak and bruised, a little cooked but he was fine. He suspected he would recover much quicker then Maul.
He was in the middle of what was probably his third meditative nap when the door to his recovery room opened, and he opened his eyes to look up at the ceiling. Almost right away he could feel a familiar presence, and the a second one that was much stronger, as if he had a bond with the man. There was only one person that Obi-Wan had such a close bond to, and it caused him to sit up with a little more of a start then he had been expecting. Emmi was quick to mention the man's name, though Obi-Wan just nodded, knowing well enough that he needed no such introduction. He knew Anakin without even being in the same room with him, and if not for focusing so much of his energy on trying to heal himself he probably would have noticed the man long before then.
At the same moment now that he was coming to a bit more, and his mind seemed to be cleared again, he could also feel Siri somewhere nearby, but she wasn't here to see him awake it seemed. "Anakin." He nodded a little to the man in the room now; quite surprised to see him having come through this timeslip as well, but then glanced to Emmi. "It's quite alright." He commented back, showing he knew Anakin on a personal level. "Unlike many of your adventures though, I didn't go asking for trouble, Anakin." Obi-Wan commented after a moment, giving a soft smile to his friend. "When did you arrive?" He asked with a small tilt of his head.

Anakin smirked a little as he stood by Obi-Wan's bed, glad to see at least his dry sense of humour was still very much alive and well...even if its owner wasn't completely in the same condition. He glanced over as Obi-Wan spoke to the woman who had introduced him, still finding it strange to land somewhere where the people didn't know who they were right off the bat, though he didn't say anything to her. Feeling as awful as he did, he could only really concentrate on one thing at a time and right now he was much more drawn to speaking with Obi-Wan than anyone else. He didn't feel right, nothing really felt right, besides the fact he had found his former Master again.
"I honestly don't know why you complain about getting grey hairs because of me. Any more of this random disappearing and it'll be me with them." he warned with a raised eyebrow, shaking his head ever so slightly before continuing to answer Obi-Wan's question. "Not long ago...I went looking for you as soon as soon as Cody mentioned you were missing. Something strange happened though and I ended up on Dantooine...I didn't realise this place had become another outpost for the Jedi, were you ever informed of that?"
The tone wasn't accusatory, but as always there was that underlying annoyance that, because Obi-Wan was a Master on the council now, he got told things that Anakin didn't and most of the time wouldn't pass back to Anakin. There was nothing any more that Anakin wouldn't tell his Master....besides of course, his marriage to Padme but that wasn't a Jedi or mission related thing that he needed to know about. His and Obi-Wan's friendship and partnership in the Clone Wars was fast becoming legendary...but more than once his former Master had lied to him about missions he had been sent on by the council, even once faking his own death and transforming himself into a completely different person to keep Anakin in the dark. More than anything, Anakin hated being lied to and he felt more than once that the council did lie and keep things from him...and now they were forcing Obi-Wan to do the same. He never asked of course, how Obi-Wan felt about doing it, he knew the answer already. It was his duty, he had to do as the council instructed and that was all he would ever get in response.

Obi-Wan lay there as he looked to Anakin, arching his brow a little in surprise as Anakin explained, one that he hadn't been that far behind Obi-Wan; and two, that he wasn't aware of Dantooine being a base for the Jedi Order. He glanced over to Emmi with a slight look of surprise on his face still before he sighed heavily. He really wasn't in a position to explain all of this to Anakin, but it seemed someone had to, and it might as well be him, even with as much pain as he was still in after his duel with Maul.
Ignoring Anakin's comment about Who was going grey first (obviously it was him anyway) he jumped right to business with a small thoughtful sigh. His hand found his chin as he gave a thoughtful look around for a moment and finally decided to answer him. "Its not Anakin." Obi-Wan explained finally with a nod, finally letting his eyes fix on Anakin specifically. "Anakin... the Dantooine Enclave hasn't been used by the Jedi order for nearly 3600 years from our time." He explained, looking to him to see if he came to any conclusions about it on his own or not.

A concerned frown crossed over Anakin's features as Obi-Wan didn't even acknowledge the joke he had made, but given the fact his former master was in a healer's wing - which would put him in a grouchy mood anyway - and was in pain, he supposed it should hardly come as a surprise that Obi-Wan wasn't exactly in the mood to joke around. So, aside from that look, Anakin said nothing further letting his former master think through whatever answer or explanation was forming in his mind. The problem came when an answer was finally spoken into the room, because it only really served to concern Anakin all the more. He tilted his head a little in confusion, squinting just slightly as he tried to make sense of what Obi-Wan was trying to suggest to him - something his aching head already strongly protested, making him close his eyes after a moment with a deep frown.
"What are you talking about?" he eventually managed to ask, shaking his head as he finally opened his eyes again to look down at Obi-Wan. "Clearly if there are Jedi, or at least force users here, then it is operational and by the looks of it has been a long time."
Even as Anakin glanced around him though, he started to notice little things he perhaps had been too concerned or simply not feeling well enough to notice. Machines in the medical bay that he didn't recognise, equipment he had briefly seen in history books, clothing on the healer that stood in the room that seemed far more basic than that which he was used to being worn. The more he noticed the more the look of confusion grew on his face, and his stomach gave an alarming and uncomfortable lurch that nearly had him turning away to find a bowl or something. Though this was caused by a strong feeling of unease affecting his already sensitive stomach, he gave a small shake of his head as he looked back to Obi-Wan again. His face a little paler than before.
"What's going on here?" he eventually asked, his voice ever so slightly shaky and tense, betraying the fact he was very uneasy and unsure.

He pushed himself up on his elbows a little more, showing only mild discomfort in the action before he was sitting a little more upright. Anakin shot him a look that would have normally screamed that Obi-Wan was losing his mind, and under normal circumstances Obi-Wan would have thought the same himself. However at the expense of the moment, and in the current situation that he knew he was in by now, he knew that he wasn't going insane. After a few moments, Anakin was beginning to see that perhaps what Obi-Wan was saying wasn't totally crazy after all.
Sitting upright now, Obi-Wan waited for the room to stop spinning before he was speaking to Anakin again, trying to both reassure his former Padawan of what was going on, and of where (and when) they were located in time. "Anakin, When you went looking for me, you much have encountered the same wormhole... time rift... that i did." Obi-Wan explained, his look of concern staying on his face for a moment. Hopefully Anakin took this well.
Obi-Wan was giving him the pieces he needed, but he wasn't telling Anakin everything. He needed to Let Anakin come to the conclusions on his own, that way he could see how true Obi-Wan was being. He looked over to Emmi who still stood silently in the corner. She was the one who had discovered him when he had first come through the portal, and now she was here with Anakin when he had come through it? He found that a little convenient, but perhaps she had encountered this enough by now that she might understand how to deal with what was going on.

The conversation between the two Jedi had started off playful. Their banter was reminiscent of other Master-Padawan pairs that wandered around the temple. Emmi didn't have this sort of banter with her Master, Daniel Dumah, but they were still close. If anything it reminded her of her previous Master and that made her smile weakly. Still, she allowed the two to talk amongst themselves until the conversation turned towards the issue of when they were. In the chaos, Emmi had nearly forgotten that Master Skywalker had not yet had the talk. It was odd that the young healer had discovered two people from the time slip thus far. Perhaps it was a record. Despite having contact with so many from these different times, she hadn't quite adapted to having the conversation currently taking place. She stared at the two men from her quiet place in the corner of the room, watching with ever widening eyes. Master Skywalker did not seem to be taking the news very well and frankly Emmi couldn't blame him one bit.
Obi-Wan looked to her for some kind of assistance. She stared back at him with a rather helpless expression. If he was hoping that she would do a better job at explaining the time slip then he was gravely mistaken. Still, she swallowed hard and took half a step forward. In his state it wasn't a good idea to exert himself too much. "Master Skywalker," Emmi said, craning her neck back to look up at the tall Jedi. "Master Kenobi is telling the truth. I was the one who found him on Alderaan. I know it seems far fetched and you must be confused and upset." With a slight gesture of her hand a chair slid up behind Anakin. Emmi anticipated he wasn't a fainter but in her time in the healing wing she had learned it was better to be safe than sorry. As she spoke she kept an air of calmness and soothing in hopes it might make the information go over more smoothly. She turned her head slightly to look over at Obi-Wan to make sure that he was feeling well. "Master Kenobi, please be careful. Perhaps you should lay down again?"

Time Rift? Wormhole? Was that really what Anakin had encountered, the anomoly he had flown towards to try and find where his Master had disappeared to? Normally, such things were only heard of in myths and legend but apparently this is what they had encountered in their very reality. Well, he supposed such myths always started in some form of truth, why should these prove to be any different? While he wanted to scoff at the idea, suggest that maybe Maul had done something to Obi-Wan to make him think thaat....his mind was already debating it with very clear points that backed up such an explanation, and that was before the healer even supported Obi-Wan's story. The differences he had noted, the force feeling very different, the massive jump across space to arrive on Dantooine...the very fact the Jedi were partially operating off this planet at all. There was no other reasonable explanation to be found that covered everything. He slowly sank into the chair that was brought up behind him by the healer, rubbing a hand across his forehead as he tried to think about what this meant.
Of course, the first thing to spring to his mind was Padme. She was still in their own time, unprotected and alone, believeing he was on a routine mission. News of his disappearance would make its way to her before long, and she would worry...be upset....try everything to look for him. But how could she know what had happened when not even the Jedi had known in the first place? What would happen to his wife without him there, she might move on believeing him lost forever. Then, he would truly have lost everything. Of course, such thinking lead to further questions about the situation. Would they be able to get home? Was he truly lost to the time he knew forever? The more he thought on it, the worse he continued to feel, swallowing hard as he glanced between Obi-wan and the healer.
"Wh...well how far have we gone back? How has this even happened?" he eventually asked, though he doubted there would be anything but vague answers coming back at him. "Will we be able to get back to where we belong?"
Of course, logic was already dictating to him that the chances of that happening were next to none. The technology to support time travel didn't exist - as far as anyone knew - so for that to be avaliable here was practically impossible. Seeing as there hadn't been any reports of people from the past popping up in the future, it was likely this rift - whether man-made or a natural occurance - was only operating one way. He settled his concerned and worried gaze back on Obi-Wan, of course not wanting to cause his Master more pain and knowing he should rest. But right now his former Master was the only person Anakin knew and trusted, needing some answers and guidance on what was happened and what needed to happen next. While Obi-Wan probably didn't know much more than Anakin, it seemed the man had settled in fairly quickly here if he was already going on missions. Anakin didn't even yet know what the council looked like or if there even was one to answer to. He didn't know the rules, if the code was different - anything like that.

The news was sinking in quickly for Anakin, and it was apparent that it wasn't settling well at all. Obi-Wan swallowed lightly, feeling concern for his former apprentice and his best friend. It had been a while now since Anakin had gone through something so drastically changing as this, and it was Obi-Wan's opinion that he was handling things like that a lot better now. Of course there were still things Obi-Wan tried to council Anakin on, but it was the words of a friend now, not a mentor. Still he couldn't help but consider the idea that Anakin might panic... and in a form of the word it was clear as Anakin was falling back into his seat that he was indeed panicking; or at least as Anakin ever came to it.
Obi-Wan found himself sitting up a little straighter now, leaning forward a bit even as if the few inches would help in a situation like this. When Anakin finally mustered up the strength to ask the question that seemed inevitable, Obi-Wan let out a small sigh. He knew he would have to answer the question eventually; sooner rather then later, but that didn't make this any easier to explain or help to be understood. Not when even he didn't understand it. Thinking a moment he nodded finally and answered Anakin's questions. "From what i can find, we're a little more then 3600 years in our past Anakin. Anything's possible... but so far nothing has been discovered in going back. I don't think there are many cases of this ... yet." He explained, hoping that he didn't crush all Hope Anakin had here. He was sure it would be possible to return to the other time somehow... perhaps all of this was temporary for those involved... but right now there had been no proof of it yet. Obi-Wan was coping by keeping himself busy, having looked for assignments in the order. Granted that got him in his current situation... but it kept his mind off of things; and reminded of a time without war... a time Obi-Wan sorely missed.
Perhaps Anakin could find peace in this time. He talked of wanting to live in a time without the war... perhaps this would be that very opportunity for the boy. Obi-Wan could at least hope anyway. Now though he sat in silence, wanting to see Anakin's reactions and ready to try and help him if he could.
