@brody
She had been on Coruscant for some time now. Her search for Morgan; the Former Nightsister who had betrayed her people, had so far yielded no results. She knew she was on this planet-city yes; she could feel it. But that was all she knew. She didn't know where or how she was living. Part of her hoped she lived in fear that Adalia would find her, but she knew Morgan had no reason to fear. There was no way she could know she had followed her through that portal or was on Coruscant herself. It burst her bubble a little yes, but really Adalia didn't mind. She would take all the more pleasure then when she tracked Morgan down and surprised her.
In the meantime though it was raining heavily across the city world, and it growing late in the day. Adalia couldn't physically continue tracking Morgan without rest and food, so it was time to return to the lower levels once more where she had made some kind of a home for herself. She had constructed a small tent structure which she was living out of in a back alley slum where many of the unworthy people came to live. Adalia didn't mind blending into the low lives like this... they mostly understood it was wise to leave her alone. The last crook who had tried anything walked away with a few less digits and that was because Adalia was feeling merciful.
She had set up quite the structure for herself, her survival training on Dathomir coming into play here for the better. She had created her moderate tent structure with materials the had salvaged from the world around her, and she was one of very few people down this far who had a fire in front of her 'home'. The structure she had put up heavily resembled a hut or yurt from her home world, but wasn't made of any organic materials. Metal and cloth made it up mostly. She had also been forced to set up different traps to keep the others out, her small camp being set up nice enough that several people had tried but failed miserably to take it from her.
Rumors were already spreading around the entire planet about a Witch in the depths of Coruscant... a name she did not mind having. It instilled fear in those who tried to come to her...

He had to admit he was actually here for a job application. It was time to turn back to his old job, ask for his old position; which was in the future. But aside from the complications in time and space, Brody was going to miss hanging around freelance. It had been a quite fun ride for him. No, it was the best. But now it was time to get serious, now he had his adventures. He already managed to get an appointment with the director of the intelligence of Coruscant. Like a normal person with a steady life, he even rented himself an apartment in the planet. It wasn't bad for a start. But knowing how his job was going to treat him, he knew he wasn't going to spend much time in this new apartment. It was only a formality.
While he was getting ready for his appointment for the next day, he got a new and clean looking suit. He practised all the possible speeches he was going to make. Brody even found a way to keep his hair back, so it wouldn't keep falling down his eyes. Yes, it was a hair gel. He couldn't say he was excited about this meeting. He was already sure he was going to be hired. After all, his knowledge about the past and the future was beyond valuable. He knew things nobody even thought of. Of course, he would need to climb the ranks to make it to the top. But he was confident in that as well.
Finding a way to spend time was never a difficult thing for Brody. He had a way with keeping himself busy. It was mostly about going out and finding himself entertainment. His sense in that was different from many people, indeed. And Brody found himself the perfect way to spend his time until the next day. There was this interesting rumour about a witch wandering in the slums of Coruscant. Some claimed she had a big nose with a rather nasty mole on the tip. She also had a flying broom. Interesting details, they were. And as much as Brody liked to prove these right, he wasn't entirely sure about that gigantic mole theory. The flying broom was more believable for him, to be honest.
He had to pay a sky car to get him as close as to the ground. But since many people were afraid of getting so close to the core of the city, Brody had to climb down his way after a point. What he wasn't careful about was how he was wearing his new clean and well ironed suit, as he made his way to the most dangerous area of Coruscant. Though, he had to say this was a fascinating experience. While the skies were so glamourous and wealthy, the core was the complete opposite. It was dark and dirty and depressing. Even the people were not talkative here, their faces were smeared with dirt.
"Have you seen a witch here?" He asked a man with a glorious beard. One of his eyes was looking very glassy. Almost transparent. "With a flying broom?" He added, hoping that would help to refresh the man's memory. But Brody kept receiving the same odd glare from the bearded man. "Perhaps with a big nose? And a disgusting ugly mole?" He was trying to shape the nose by his hands to get more creative and helpful. Brody arched his non-existent brows and curled his both index fingers at his forehead level. "How about horns, huh?" The man kept the exact same glare, which made Brody sigh in disappointment. Then he patted the bearded man on the shoulder.
"Yeah, I thought so. Thank you, mate." He turned around and headed through the dark corridor of streets to find more people to question. He was confident about finding this witch tonight.

Adalia sat outside her small camp-like lair now, kneeling in front of a cooking spit. She had her eyes closed and her lips moved in order to mutter a spell that eventually lit the flammable items in the pit, and allowed her to have some warmth as the night grew on and the air around her got colder. Her long coat was pulled around her as she put her hands out and looked around. Besides just warmth the fire afforded her physical senses some aid as well as she could now see around her camp in the dark. Small critters moved around her but she hardly paid them any attention. She was more concerned about the people who attempted to steal from her or attack in the dark.
None of them had succeeded to take her off guard clearly, and most of them feared her now. Especially once she had set up the traps around her camp to keep her safe. She had managed to catch a fairly large rodent type animal which she was pulling from her bag at her side, taking her dagger out then. She skinned and gutted the rat right there on the spot, and then moved over to her water source, a bucket which he had made a filter with that collected rain water. This city world was surprisingly rainy, but she didn't trust even the natural water to be drinkable, and so she made it a point to filter and clean her own water for use. She had some set aside for cooking, some for drinking, and some for her own cleaning. She generally filtered it first, then boiled it after just to be safe, as was the case with the water she was currently using.
She cleaned the meat from the rodent, being sure to use only a portion of the water so she didn't contaminate all of it in one sitting. Once she was sure her meal was cleaned she returned toe the spit and skewered the now skinned rodent, sitting it over the fire in order to get it to cook. She then moved to the scraps, the guts and the skin she had just removed from the creature that was being cooked into her meal and tossed it all away from her camp so as not to draw other creatures to it. Already she could hear other small critters moving to the scrap she threw away and shook her head a little as she fell back to sit in her spot by the fire place. "How barbaric." She muttered. She didn't mind the creatures being that close to her camp though... it made it easier to catch them when she needed her next meal.
The other people were the creatures she wanted to keep away...

Brody spoke with a young man in mid twenties as next. To his questions about seeing any magic users around, he got a very colourful story about flying rancors and drinking from a rainbow pool. Instead of putting these to potential things to investigate, Brody decided the young man was actually tripping on some illegal drugs. And that couldn't be any righter.
He pulled out his scanner for a while and searched around to get any lead. After an hour of speaking to more people and getting one of his scanners robbed out of him by a young thief, Brody was finally heading for the right direction. A few mentioned about a woman, who was living away from most people and didn't allow anyone any close. It sounded like the right person. So Brody got some directions and even walked in circles for a bit. But in the end he was approaching to a dark and secluded area in the slums. He could swear he saw a few big rodents running past him. But he simply looked at them with curiousity and continued with his way.
Ahead he could see a small campfire and a woman kneeling before it. Shutting his scanner down, Brody stuffed it inside the inner pocket of his jacket. Then he combed his hair backward with his fingers and straightened his cloths, as if he wanted to look good for this meeting. Then he was approaching closer to the woman figure. Brody could get a good glimpse of her face in the burning fire. While the orange shade was falling over everything around the area in a small radius, Brody could clearly notice the woman didn't have a hook nose or a pointy chin. There was no mutated moles anywhere in her face either. She looked like a normal person with beautiful features. Oh, yes. She was certainly a beautiful one. But of course, Brody wasn't the type to make such comments about such facts.
"Would you mind if I joined?" He asked with a big smile and arched brows.

Her hand was held in front of her, suspended over the fire as she did her best to evenly cook the rat that she had put on the skewer. Adalia's other hand was also held out, but this only to collect some of the warmth from the fire. the nights got cold on this world, but between the heavy long coat she had collected on her first night, and the fire, along with some other materials she had managed to fashion into a decently comfortable bed, she managed to stay warm through the nights. A part of her was sure too that her hatred for Morgan kept her going through parts of it too, and she had yet to actually face a truly cold, winter night yet.
The dark woman's thoughts were interrupted as she could feel another person daring to near her camp. She groaned a little bit with a small shake of her head as he senses expanded a little to find this man. What surprised her a little as she paused though was that this man wasn't like the others that bugged her. It seemed instead of foul intentions an almost innocent curiosity was what drove him to find her. Other men and women down here tried to steal her food, supplies, even the camp or to kill or take advantage of her. All of this lead to failed attempts of course, but that didn't mean it wasn't annoying.
This one though seemed to be seeking her out with the mind of a child, wanting his curiosity to be quenched like a thirst. She glanced over her shoulder then to see him, her purple eyes almost glaring narrowly at the man as he stopped just before one of the traps that she had set up to keep people back. Her eyes rested on him for a moment before she let them drift down him, taking him in with a long glance before lingering at his feet where the different traps lay. She shrugged but turned back to the fire with a sinister smirk on her features. "I imagine so. If you can." She said in reply to him. It was both a challenge and a warning. A warning in the sense that she was hinting subtly at the fact it may not be so easy to approach her as it appeared, but also a challenge in the fact that she would like to see him try and step closer, just to see if he had noticed the traps ... and if not she wanted to see if they worked, and how well they did their job.

The lady turned her face at him and that was when their eyes met for the first time. It was hard to see the true colour of her eyes from this distance, but that was another question to be answered later on. Brody gave her a big happy smile, as she gave a positive reaction. While she was clearly challenging him and her eyes pointed out one of the many traps on the ground, Brody didn't seem to lose his good mood.
Stepping over one trap, as if it wasn't anything dangerous to worry about; the man walked to the side and spread his legs to take a longer step. He was carefully making his way through the interesting and old fashioned traps. In all honesty, he was impressed and thought of asking the lady to teach him to make these. But of course, that wasn't the first thing he was going to ask. Brody had a much much better question in mind.
"Cooked rat, huh?" He asked and passed by the last set of traps, finally making his way to the small campfire. "Must be delicious." Standing before the fire across the lady, Brody brought his hands to the source of fire. It was small, but certainly warming enough. Not that he ever tried any meals including rat meat, but he was trying to make a good conversation here. "Do you know what would make a fine dessert after fried rat? This chocolate bar." He pulled out one from his inner pocket and offered to the lady. Her eyes were purple by the way, which he recorded as a mental note.
"I'm Brody Cibre." He introduced himself and then offered his hand for a good handshake. "And you are?"

She had returned to the fire in front of her as she worked on evenly cooking her meal, attempting to stare intently into it to act as if she was ignoring the man. Still she watched him out of the corner of her eye. At first it had only been to see how quickly he failed her traps, and how badly his death would be, but after a moment she had to admit she was a little impressed with how far he was making it, and how expertly he avoided them. She just hoped no one else was watching him unlock the combination so they could repeat it in the dead of night or while she was away from her camp.
When he made it unscathed and stood on the opposite side of her fire, her eyes fully looked up to meet with his; this being a much clearer look now then he had been able to get before when she had glanced at him from behind her shoulder. He seemed to be one for small talk; and while that was hardly Adalia's forte she didn't burst his bubble by asking him to be silent. By this time she had learned that this world didn't follow the same doctrine that she and her people did on Dathomir. Men were apparently ... equal here... and while she could accept that it was still difficult for her personally to adjust to not telling them what they should or should not be doing.
"I live off of it." She commented dryly. Perhaps it had an interesting flavor to begin with, but it wasn't that much of a variety when it was almost all you ate. She would have been capable of preparing something else if she could just find the means to do so, which at the moment seemed impossible on a world like this one. Before long though the man was doing something that struck her as very odd indeed; as he reached inside the pocket of his odd jacket and pulled out a small wrapped bar of something he called chocolate. He offered it to her, something that warranted her to arch her eyebrow a little bit as she looked up to him. She cautiously reached out and took it, un-wrapping it from it's foil cover before she sniffed it, attempting to find any traces of a poison she might recognize. Of course she knew it was possible for it to be laced with something she wouldn't recognize too...
Then the ma introduced himself and extended his arm to her. She folded the bar's wrapping back up and set it down to her side and away from the fire (not even aware that it melted quickly) and tentatively took the man's hand in her's. "They call me Adalia Edana. Or Huntress... or Witch." She explained, naming firstly her name followed by titles she had earned or preferred. "Is it poison?" She asked, nodding her head down to the bar of chocolate he had just given her; hoping to be able to gauge his reaction.

Brody didn't push forward about the food choice topic. He was very well aware there wasn't much to choose in the slums of Coruscant and it was a challenge to survive. So any way was welcomed. But Brody didn't see this as a desperate situation for the lady. he actually believed she was rather badass to set up a camp like this and had filled around with traps. She was making a home, while it was still chilly none the less.
Once the chocolate bar he was offered was taken and examined closely, there was an amused smile in Brody's face. Everyone liked a good chocolate bar. Though, he didn't guess the lady wasn't familiar with what it was. He supposed she was new here and hadn't mingled up with the city and it's culture yet. But that was fine. Brody was willing to help about it. If she was from Dathomir as he guessed, that explained things all the better. They were a secluded bunch and lived by their own rules, which brought to his mind about how Dathomirian women viewed men. There wasn't any special way to greet her to make her feel home, if that was the case. Of course, Brody could try to fall down to his knees and hug her ankles; but slavery wasn't one of his things.
Thankfully, his offered hand was also taken in a firm hand-shake; which her strength impressed Brody. His eyes were smiling now, as if he was truly enjoying their introductions. Asking for poison was an interesting touch to the greeting, but he supposed it made sense. She could have enemies and it was wise to check any offered food. "We can say it's poison to some..." He chuckled jokingly, thinking the question in different levels. But his sense of humour was working in the wrong time now. He smiled lesser now. "I didn't put any poison in it. In fact, that tastes delicious. Try it." Now he was grinning again, rubbing his cold hands together.
Brody was also impressed by the titles coming after Adalia Edana's name. Both titles made a lot of sense and they were cool. "So what brings you to Coruscant, Adalia?" He asked, already in first name basis. "It's a long way to here from Dathomir."

With Adalia's question the man across from her was grinning a little, speaking up after a moment to answer that they were poison to only certain people. This caused her eyebrows to sharply raise, trying to determine if it would be poisonous to her particularly or not. Before long though he was explaining that there was no poison in it at all, though the sudden change only acted to concern and confuse her a little more then he already had.
Carefully though she scooted slightly from her fire and reached for the bar again, un-wrapping it carefully and curiously before the lifted it to her nose once more and took a sniff of it. After a second though she was reaching it and took a corner of it in between her two fingers and broke it off. Carefully she lifted it up to her mouth and took a bite of it, chewing on it slowly, not even letting her teeth fully touch between bites. She was pleasantly surprised to find out that indeed the chocolate was sweet and delightful, but it was also such a new taste to her that she was totally unprepared for it. Her expression didn't betray this, but she was a little shocked about it for a second.
It would take some getting used to, but she didn't have a problem with it. Whatever she could do to make her meals last longer she was more then willing to accept. The man looked to her, asking a question then about why he was on this world. She arched her brow thoughtfully but decided it wouldn't hurt her to answer the question; at least in part. "I am a huntress. I come hunting a traitor from my home world." She explained, arching her brow for a second longer but narrowed her eyes after a second as she looked to him, wondering if he had information on Morgan... No one else seemed to.
"Do you have any knowledge of others like me on this World of towers?" She asked with a tilt of her head.

As Adalia kept examining the chocolate bar closely and showing full interest in the sweet treat, Brody just watched her with an amused expression. They seemed to share an interest for sweets. But Brody also had a thing for sour things. And then chilly things. Alright, he supposed he liked a lot of tastes. "It's nice, isn't it?" He asked with a cheerful smile and a nod.
But then their conversation was taking a new turn, as the lady started to give information about her purpose in Coruscant. So that title wasn't just for to sound fancy. She was actually a huntress, which was very cool. As Brody was getting curious about what she hunted, the answer came soon from her lips and he didn't even need to ask. So it was a person she was after. A traitor she labeled this person as. Of course, that was another subject Brody was curious about. Before he could voice his question, Adalia was asking him about information on other Dathomirian in Coruscant.
Brody tilted his head to the side in a thoughtful manner. There were many people in Coruscant and he was very well aware he could find the trace of all Dathomirian, especially if he managed to get his position back in the Intelligence Division. As much as he liked helping people, he wasn't doing that blindly. He didn't confirm his power aloud either.
"What was this traitor's crime?" He asked with pure curiousity.

After she had set the bar of chocolate aside, keeping it away from the fire still the man asked how she enjoyed it and she arched her brow a little, giving sure nod but saying nothing aloud about it. She had enjoyed the flavor indeed, but it was more then she was used to for such a small portion. She also doubted there was much nutritious value in one of these bars either. Still she had more important things to use her breath on, and that was what she would rather focus on.
Soon enough the conversation was going exactly where she wanted to steer it, and the topic of Morgan; the cause for this disaster was being discussed. "She took innocent blood, betrayed the Nightsisters, and interrupted a ritual." She explained, but also left out key details. For one she had failed to mention that the life that Morgan took was her Flesh sister's life. She also left out the fact that the ritual ruined had brought about the new world that everyone was now finding themselves in; the time slip that many were caught up in.
It didn't matter that she left the details out though... not to her. She had answered the man's question despite not believing she had to. Perhaps with the answers though he would be willing to share anything he knew about the situation.

Keeping his palms open by the fire side, Brody listened to the lady's accusations of this traitor. First and second one sounded as serious issues. Though, he wasn't sure of the third one. But it had to be some serious topic for Nightsisters. Since they weren't exactly an open community, even the things Brody knew on them was limited. He just knew they were strict on rules without knowing the detail of these rules.
Giving a thoughtful nod at Adalia, Brody kept his eyes on the camp fire for a while. In all honesty, many things were going in his mind. While a good majority would sound as unrelated to the topic and situation, the rest was mostly focused on helping her to find out the whereabouts of this traitor. But that also brought a few good questions into the pot.
"And what will you do, when you find this traitor?" He asked quietly. The title Huntress could give him an idea, but Brody preferred to hear it from the lady's own words. Some titles were misleading from what he experienced and he surely didn't want to misjudge her by the title. And perhaps, what Adalia planned was just talking things over a cup of tea, solving this issue all peacefully. Who could know?

The tall man continued to stand there absorbing the heat from where he was seated across from her. She couldn't blame him as this planet made from steel and concrete seemed to grow cold rather quickly once the night hit, and the sun was nearly completely set now. In the alleys it was dark well before the sun set as the tall buildings cut it off long before it was ever below the ground. Adalia couldn't understand how someone could call a place like this home, and yet it seemed so over populated and cultured. She didn't know if she should be shocked that people could live in a place like this, or disgusted that some people actually PREFERRED this to nature itself. It was all an odd thought to her.
Eventually the man asked his question and she was left to tilt her head a little at it. If it wasn't obvious what she would do to Morgan Neema when she caught up with her, Adalia didn't see why she couldn't explain it to him now and then. He certainly didn't seem powerful enough to try and stop her. "Tis my task to hunt her down and bring her back to my people on Dathomir, Punishment will be dealt then." She wasn't scared of the man who sat across from her, but that didn't stop her from at least being mildly discreet about her intention. If she had her way she would kill Morgan for personal reasons, and then bring the body back to reset the curse that had been ruined by the woman. But being as she had left her personal reasons for being here out of the question, she wasn't worried that the man would be able to extrapolate that knowledge from what she had told him.
