Everything was going to be alright, there was no need to worry. Those or words like those where the last one that Padme had heard from her husband Anakin a few nights ago. Not to mention he told her he wouldn’t be long, of course wouldn’t belong to her meant a few hours, to Anakin it could be a day; but this was borderline something was really wrong waiting time. Obi Wan, Anakin’s master and a friend to Padme; due to helping her out of many tight spots; had gone missing. Anakin had tried to search his master out using the force but he wasn’t able to find any signature of him. Not even the Jedi council have an idea what could have caused this; though they did admit they felt some strange pulling in the force and many Jedi that they once could feel or sense where no longer there. It was as if they had vanished. Padme was told all this by Anakin before he decided to go out and conduct his own man hunt for Obi Wan, but who was Padme to go to about her fear that Anakin was now missing as well. No one knew they were married, in fact she had been asked to end any ties with Anakin a while back when he had took her back home to Nauboo; instead the two of them had married in secret. Padme had all but given up sleeping now, she had tried and though she closed her eyes sleep would not come. She couldn’t help but think that something horrible had happen to both of them, and that she would never see Anakin again. She tried to calm herself, by telling herself she would know if he was dead after all they were connected by love but there was that little voice that kept telling her she would never know if she didn’t go out and try to look for him herself. Unable to really decide where to look, since Anakin hadn’t told her where he was going, she just decide on a walk. R2D2 of course had gone with Anakin but C3PO was still with her, so with a determination to feel as if she was doing something the two of them set out to walk the street of Coursant. It didn’t happen right away, in fact Padme had just decided to go home, with a strange wave washed over her. For a moment she thought it was a shock wave and quickly bent down and hugged her arms to her body with her head bent to her chest ready for the impact. But it didn’t’ come, the wave just washed over the woman and the droid, leaving Padme slightly confused. As she stood up however it took Padme a little while to realize something wasn’t right, she wasn't in the streets of Coursant anymore but somewhere she didn't know. Anakin Skywalker

Anakin had only himself arrived in this different time, this different place and he was still trying to get used to the idea. Not that it was neccisarily a bad thing being here, with Obi-Wan here already and something about his connection with the force seeming to have shifted...there was no doubt in his mind already that this was shaping up to be a better place to be so far. No war, no impossibly high standards expected of him - except by his former Master of course but even he seemed to have lightened up a little - and although he shouldn't have thought it, there was no Jedi Council watching his every move. Well not the one he knew anyway. For the first time in his life, he felt truly free. The only problem was...he worried constantly about his absent wife.
She was still trapped back in a time where war was raging and threats to her life were a commonplace thing, and he wasn't there to listen out for them and protect her from them. She was well and truly alone and he didn't like that idea. Neither did he like that he couldn't really feel her presence any more...as all Jedi Masters who had ever spoken to him about the force had said, it was in every living thing and he had trained arduously to be able to sense people within it - even those who weren't necessarily strongly force sensitive. He had gotten to a point with Padme - though she would swear it was a bond forged by love that allowed it - where he could sense if she was in trouble, or pain. If there was something wrong, or that he should be anxious about. Now...as when Obi-Wan had disappeared...there was nothing. He didn't like it at all, and the frustrating thing was that same old mantra...there was nothing he could do about it.
So, he found himself sitting in his appointed room in the enclave, trying to catch up on some much needed rest and relaxation as Obi-Wan had suggested he do. Given that Anakin was no longer his Padawan - and apparently he had a new one now which had made Anakin chuckle slightly, though well out of ear shot of his former master - he wasn't bound to follow him around any more and they not being in a wartime situation, their unique and powerful fighting team wasn't as heavily needed. He could afford to take a few days to acclimatise and just catch up on the peace the war had stripped from him back in their own time. He was in the middle of meditating and trying not to focus on trying to reach out to Padme...when she very suddenly and strongly appeared back in his senses. His eyes burst open as he recognised her, felt her, giving a small grin and shake of his head. It seemed there really was nothing that could separate them - even a time slip.
He jumped up and grabbed his coat, clipping his lightsaber to his belt and hurrying out the room, not stopping as he jogged down the halls of the enclave and found a speeder - if you could even call them that by his standards - to commandeer. There would be no one and nothing that would stop him getting to her. Powering up the speeder, he let the force guide him to where she was, his mind now racing with very different thoughts about her....about their relationship. This was a different time, there was no telling if they would actually ever get back...maybe now, they could actually have the marriage they had always wanted. Be able to spend some time together away from their duty and focus on the love that they shared.

Padma pride herself on not being caught off guard too much, though she wasn’t always sure of what was going on around her or who was trying to attack her Padma always kept a level head on her shoulders. She wasn’t easy to panic and quick to listen to reason; though at this very moment she was finding herself slightly alarmed. Never in her life had she experience what had just happen, where she had just been walking down the street in one area and ended up in a whole different area. Even C3PO wasn’t any help, he couldn’t scan the area like what R2D2 could and inform her where she was now. Once thing was for sure Padma wasn’t on Coruscant anymore. She could tell that by the very sky over her head, not to mention this planet didn’t have the hustle and bustle that Coruscant was known for. No this was not Coruscant, so where was she.
Not once did it enter Padma’s mind that she was even in a different time period, after all how could that even happen. There had been no account in the archives of such thing ever happen, though the archives have been tampered with before. To make it appear something that was once there was no longer there, of course it took someone with great power to do so but it wasn’t impossible.
After turning on the spot a few times, trying to get an idea of what was around her, Padma let out a slight sigh. “Lets go this direction.” She motion to 3PO who of course went off on some tangent of how dangerous it most likely was as well what he thought of the whole thing. It was nice not to be alone but Padma was trying to think while he was talking and not finding it to ease. That’s when it happen, a feeling of love started burning in her very heart. Padma stopped and looked around quickly, there was only on reason she would feel this but she couldn’t see him.

Anakin raced at full speed across the land, his mind focused on where Padme was but also thinking in the back of it that the hardest thing he would have to try and get used to was how far behind the technology was. Every mechanically inclined cell in his body was screaming in frustration and coming up with a hundred different ways the junk pile named a speeder in this time could be upgraded to be better and faster. With no resources and the fact Obi-Wan had warned him against revealing too much of the future they knew in case it messed things up back home, there was nothing he could really do about it besides put up with it and maybe do a sneaky upgrade or repair here and there. At least, on the upside, he'd get to learn a new way of doing things though and his mind was always up for that kind of challenge.
Eventually, and a lot slower than Anakin would have liked, he finally reached one of the small towns nearby and he could sense that he was close to his wife. He parked the speeder in an available space and jumped out, pulling his robe a little closer around him as he set off at a jog to weave his way through people. She had to be easy to spot, even in a group of people...not only did he know her from every angle, she would look completely out of place. Before long, he broke into a relieved grin as his eyes caught a bright glint of gold reflecting the sunlight of the day, and he immediately spotted the droid he had built from the frame up...and standing right next to him, looking around in every direction besides the one he was actually in...was his beautiful wife.
He strode forwards and without even breaking stride, wrapped his arms around her waist and lifted her into the air, spinning her on the spot with a grin before he set her back on her feet with a laugh.
"What are you doing here, Padme?!" he exclaimed, hardly able to believe that she had been dragged through this time slip also, but exceptionally glad she had been.

Padme could feel that Anakin was somewhere, but she didn’t’ know where or how far away he was. There was no doubt in her mind that he would know she was here as well, using the force to guide him. The problem was right now waiting, and where to wait. The streets where crowed with people, no one seemed to noticed that she had just appeared out of no were; apparently this kind of thing must happen all the time or something. Deciding it would be best to find a place to wait, like an inn or a hotel, Padme started heading toward the direction of some buildings that looked promising.
She hadn’t gone far however when a man, who had moved very quickly in her line of sight, was picking her up. Padme let out a sight surprised scream but then realized who the man was which turned into excitement as he spun her one time around before putting her feet back on the ground. “Anakin….” She exclaimed reaching up and touching his face not really able to believe he was there. Of course she had felt him but she had not believed he was this close, and it was even more shock how he was showing her this affection in a public place; the two of them had been so careful not to show any kind of affection in front of people. “Where have you been, I’ve been so worried about you.” She didn’t answer his questions about what she was doing here, there was no real answer to it nor did she think he would believe her with what happen. So instead she had asked him a question to deflect his own.

Anaking laughed at Padme's surprised scream, knowing he was one of a very small number of people who could cause such a reaction and get away with it. He wasn't holding her off the ground for long, setting her back on her feet with a grin in front of him, but hardly making a move to cause any kind of physical distance between them. All his inhibitions about showing the extent of their relationship in public had been washed away with the knowledge that they were in a completely different time. There wasn't anyone here - besides people like Obi-Wan who had fallen victim to the slip also - who knew who they were and could destroy their careers, their forbidden relationship. Of course, near the enclave where there were people who knew, they would have to be more careful. But really, Anakin didn't particularly care if they found out any more.
Research was being done into this time travelling anomaly, of course, to try and discover how this had come to pass and why. Scientists were looking for the physical and logical, the Jedi were looking within the force for answers. But, all those who had fallen victim had already been warned...there might not be a way to undo it. It may never be possible for them to return home, to their lives. On the one hand, Anakin was worried and concerned about that fact. The Clone Wars raged on in his time, as far as he knew, with no end in sight. What would happen to the galaxy, his friends, the clones he lead....he did feel guilty in that he had been forced to abandon his duty and really was doing very little in the effort to return to it. On the other hand however, was this inexplicable feeling that this event had freed him in a way he had never experienced before.
The weight of the Chosen One title wasn't pressing on him here, keeping him bound to a responsibility he had never asked for and never actually wanted. He didn't feel like he had to constantly prove himself, if he didn't want a mission he didn't have to accept. The galaxy didn't seem to be under any huge threat - well as far as he understood it anyway, though politics had never been a strong point of his. Even the force itself felt different to him, and he was curious to know if Obi-Wan felt the difference too. It wasn't shadowy or oppressive any more, it wasn't trying to grab his attention and grapple over his emotions. It felt....balanced....like it was waiting for him to listen, to search for its answers...it felt like a living, pulsating entity now rather than the oppressive smog he had had to learn to battle through and he loved it. Already he had had these thoughts, but with Padme here that last piece of the puzzle seemed to fall into place. They could be a married couple here, their duty didn't have to make them choose anymore, or snatch stolen moments of love and peace in the chaos of war. They could celebrate and love each other freely.
So when he looked down at Padme, turning his head softly into her gentle touches with the grin stretched across his face, there was something different about him. His eyes were alight and alive with happiness and excitement as they met her soft, brown ones, his smile was genuine and infectious as it became infused with his new found energy and serenity. He felt, and probably looked, like a completely different person. He noticed of course, that she deflected his question with her own, but given he hadn't grasped what had happened when he had first arrived on planet, he doubted she really had an answer for him anyway. So, he just gave a small shake of his head, careful not to dislodge the gentle touch on his cheek and answered her.
"It's...complicated, my love. I'll explain everything to you when we get back to the enclave. I'm fine though, I promise." he reassured her, turning his head to press a soft kiss to her palm. "Are you alright? Do you feel okay?"
He eventually managed to ask the questions after a moment of simply enjoying the closeness between them, a look of slight concern passing over his features as he stepped back just a little to look her over. He remembered his own arrival all too well - the headache and nausea that had accompanied it. She didn't appear to be in pain, but then Padme was very good at hiding that sort of thing, even from him.

Padme didn’t know what it was but she could tell that something was different about Anakin. He was quick to smile and even his eyes told her that he wasn’t carrying all the worry that he once did. It was almost like he was floating he seemed so lighter now. Of course part of it could have been from her sudden appearance after being away from each other for so long, but something told her that wasn’t just that. No there was something else, it seemed as if the weight of the world he carried on his shoulders was now lifted off and he was free. She could see the hint of the little boy she had first met so many years ago, who though a slave at the time had a light heart and hope for the future. She had taken to him the moment she saw him, her heart had gone out to him and the situation he was in. No in a romantic way, no she had not felt that way toward Anakin until much years later when they met up again when she was no longer queen and they had spent time together getting to know each other.
Now together once again she was not only seeing that little boy but she was seeing the man she had fallen in love with. She knew he had been put under a lot of pressure because what people believe him to be; the chosen one. It was not easy to have people watch your every move and criticize it every way that they could. She of course could see that they were trying to help him, making him better but Anakin was very stubborn and sometimes didn’t see it that way. Padme didn’t know what the cause of the change was but she had a feeling that it had to do with where they were now.
With a slight shake of his head, careful not to dislodge her hand from his face, Anakin informed her that it was complicated. This caused Padme’s smile to falter, she knew it had to be serious if he was telling her it was complicated. The two of them hardly kept secrets from each other; of course there were times she had to coax it out of him but in the end he would tell her everything. “The enclave?” She question taking her hand form his face as they walked together. The enclave was the home of the Jedi if she went there they could not be together and would most likely have to come up with some story of how he found her. “Why can’t we go home?’

Once again, Padme didn't answer his questions to her and instead continued on with her own, making him smirk a little despite the seriousness of what he would eventually have to break to her. It was something they both had in common, the discomfort they experienced of knowing something was happening but not knowing the details. The burning need to find out and get involved. It was what kept them bound to their duties in their own time. Before he could even think about offering another answer though, Padme had moved her hand started walking in the direction Anakin had come from, he falling eaisly and quickly into step beside her. Unlike every other time they had walked together though, Anakin freely and eaisly slipped his hand into hers as he lead her to where he had left the speeder.
"Once we get there, i'll explain." he offered, his deep voice soft and promising as they strolled through the streets at a more leisurely pace. "This is like nothing you could have ever imagined or dreamed."
Anakin actually was predicting that Padme would start piecing things together before too long. Little details like people's clothes, the transports, the things for sale...all things Anakin had missed in his concern to find Obi-Wan on his arriving on planet. It wasn't until it had all been practically spelled out for him he had finally gotten an idea that something wasn't right. Though he supposed the headache and eye popping nausea could have had something to do with him being a little unobservant. Padme though, she had an eye for these things, noticing small details. Well that had Threepio was blurting words like 'Fascinating' and 'Oh my' every so often. Either Padme would notice or the droid would beat Anakin to an explanation.
It didn't take the couple long to wander back to the speeder, Anakin helping Padme into the front seat first then lifting Threepio into the back. He supposed he could start explaining what was happening on the way back...but the more he tried to word the explanation in his head the more he realised that he didn't know how to explain what had happened. Sure for him, for most Jedi, it wasn't so much of a problem. The only family he had - well cared about - was dead, and both his wife and brother-like best friend was with him. But Padme...she had family back in their time. Her parents, sister, niece and nephew...there was no guarentee they would fall pray to the time slip too, and no way to ensure that they did. Equally, there was no way he could guarentee her that they would get back home to them. She would be upset, maybe angry...or maybe she would take it in her stride like most things the galaxy threw at her. Anakin didn't know, but neither could he find the words to tell her.
"You didn't answer my question." he eventually said as he headed the speeder back towards the enclave. "Are you feeling alright? Do you want to see a healer when we get there?"

Padme felt Anakin’s hand slipped into hers and for a moment she looked down at their claps hands and then looked up to smile at him. There was something different about this place, just by the way that Anakin was acting. They had never been allowed to walk hand and hand before in public, I had always had to be very formal between the two of them. After all Jedi were not allow to be in love or have relationship. The two of them had broken that rule and gotten married, though it didn’t allow them to really live together very often. But now he was willing to hold her hand and let everyone see it; not that she was complaining but it added a lot more to the list of questions she was starting to form.
Padme didn’t’ ask again why they had to go to the elcave instead of home again, after all Anakin had promised her that he would tell her; though he also mention that it was nothing that she could imagine. This caused her to grip his hand slightly tighter and steal a glance at him. Once again wondering what it all was that he couldn’t tell her now; but Padme decided to keep her piece for now and walk with him. It was no she was starting to realize something around her, it wasn’t just a strange planet she was on the truth was it wasn’t strange. She knew this planet but not in the way she was seeing it, and then there was the way people were dressed. She had not seen people dressed like this, ever. No that wasn’t right she had seen clothing like this once or twice but she couldn’t figure out where or when.
Padme was brought out of her wonderings when Anakin mention she had not answered his question. “yes I’m fine I’m just a little confused and I guess tired.” She answered sliding on the speeder and wrapping her arms around him as they head off. For a while she watched everything around her speed by, it was all so strange to her and nothing looked right. Finally she just closed her eyes and rested her check against this back; happy to be close to him again after being away for so long. She knew however this couldn’t last long if they were going to the elcave she would have to once again act as if they were not married, the thought made her hold onto him all the tighter.

Anakin smiled softly as Padme's arms looped around him and she closed the gap between them as much as was physically and safely possible. He took one hand off the speeder's controls and wrapped his arms around her in return, not in any hurry to get back to the enclave. The only one that would really miss him was Obi-Wan, and he didn't have any missions he was due to be on either. For the first time in many many years, his time was completely his own to do with what he wanted. Of course, he wasn't sure if relationships between Jedi and others were actually allowed in this time....but he certainly wasn't needed as badly as he was during the Clone Wars. Not being a part of the Jedi Order here didn't feel like such a bad thing...so perhaps even if it was still forbidden they could actually make something of their marriage. The only snag to this plan was that Obi-Wan still didn't know of it, and with him being here, it meant telling him if they wanted that plan to go ahead. Anakin didn't know how he would react, and it was a big gamble on the idea that there would be no way to return to their own time. If Obi-Wan found out, and took that knowledge back to their own council, it would force Anakin out of the order. Back in their own time, that was something Anakin deeply cared about. It was something he would have to discuss with Padme when they were alone in the enclave.
He gave a slightly relieved nod as Padme finally confirmed to him that she was fine, mostly just understandably confused about what was going on and why Anakin was being so cryptic. He wasn't surprised she was tired either, she'd probably spent the nights since he'd gone missing worrying. Not that he was being big headed about the fact, just because he knew he would have done the same should the roles have been reversed. He hadn't missed the stronger squeezes to his hand or the fact she was keeping him so close, which made him think she was at least relieved to be with him again. Though how long that feeling would last when she finally knew what had happened would remain to be seen.
As Anakin was travalling at a much more leisurly pace back to the enclave, the trip took a considerablly longer time than his trip there, though neither human occupant was exactly complaining about that. Eventually though, they did arrive at the bustling yet peaceful enclave. Without knowing where Obi-Wan was for the moment, he knew the formal air between them had to return, so he sat Padme back up and away from him before entering its boundaries - though he did so with an apologetic smile and extreme reluctance. Once the speeder was landed, Anakin jumped out and rounded to Padme's side, offering her his gloved hand.
"M'lady..." he said respectfully with a bowed head, waiting for her to take his hand so he could help her down. He didn't know where others who came through the time slip were supposed to go. All Jedi by default reported to the council, but apparently this was affecting more than just Jedi. it seemed no-one was immune to the time slip. For now, until he could meet with Obi-Wan, he would take her to his room under the idea of looking after her. Not that he was going to try very hard to look for his former Master for a while. He then brought Threepio down out of the speeder too.
Slowly, he started to guide Padme through the hallways of the enclave, not saying anything for the moment as he simply let her take the atmosphere of the place in. It was rare non-force sensitive beings were allowed in the sacred temple halls back in their time, so it would be interesting to see what Padme would make of this.
