CLIFF ALLEN
Private Allen
Full Name: Cliffard Allen
Gender: Male
Species: Human
Age: 26
Faction: Imperial Military
Class: Soldier
Rank: Private (With the possibility of a demotion up ahead)
Face Claim: Zac Efron
OC or Canon: Original...ish
APPEARANCE
Height: 5'11"
Weight: 185 lbs
Eyes: Blue
Hair: Brownish-blondish
Overall Appearance: Cliff is obsessed with his hair. And hair gel. And somehow, despite his incredible skill at messing up absolutely everything, his hair always looks good. Maybe because messy hair is the only thing that goes? It's generally kept at a short-ish length (Trooper Dress Code won't let him grow it out). Aside from that, he's rather average in appearance; he's 5'11", not very big or very small. He's pretty toned due to strenuous physical activity on a regular basis, and has a dorky charming if somewhat uneven smile and really lousy fashion sense; it's a good thing he's usually in uniform. His facial features aren't particularly bad to look at, though he always has a bit of scruff due to his forgetfulness with shaving. His eyes are a clear blue, good-natured and loyal.
PERSONALITY
Cliff is not the sharpest knife in the drawer. He's more like a blunted spoon. But he's always been loyal. Especially to his fellow soldiers. Being a soldier is all about protecting your buddies from the other guys, and Cliff is... sadly very bad at that. He tries, though few people appreciate it. The only person who really tolerates him is Liam Grell, probably because the other soldiers don't like Grell any more than they like Allen. Cliff is easily distracted by everything, and has a love for cute and cuddly things. Animals seem to like him a lot, possibly because he's so close to the animal kingdom himself. His survival in the Imperial Navy has been through sheer dumb luck, as he always seems to somehow escape an untimely death in the oddest ways. Usually because of his airheaded nature.
Despite the appearance that Cliff sees the world differently than it really is, he can sometimes make some very intelligent observations (though few people actually listen to him). He's clever in an unconventional sort of way, though he's not as smart as he thinks he is. On the bright side, if you ever need someone to make up a really weird story, Cliff's your man.
BACKGROUND
Planet Origin: Balmorra
Starting Planet: The one with the rest of the guys.
Era Origin: Rise of the Empire Era
History:
Born to a typical family during the time of the rising Empire, Cliff had a rather normal childhood, aside from his odd ability to get into life-threatening situations, being oblivious to said situation, and yet somehow coming out of it alive anyway. His parents were loving, but somewhat concerned, as Cliff was literally a walking disaster. He was friendly and charming, but was often the butt of bullies' jokes and completely oblivious to it. Somehow, he grew up to be a positive young man despite the growing oppression of the empire. He was an only child, and though his parents weren't rich, they spoiled him when they could. When he was eighteen, he volunteered to join the Imperial army and become a Stormtrooper. If the Empire hadn't been so desperate for more soldiers (they were oddly short-lived), Cliff wouldn't have been drafted. Although concerned for him, his parents were proud.
Like his childhood and school time, Cliff somehow managed to get through boot camp through sheer luck and by being unaware of any abuse thrown at him. He befriended fellow recruit Liam Grell, who often tried to stand up for him. In a way, the two were complete opposites. They had one thing in common though--they were both lousy soldiers. Cliff wasn't for lack of trying. He put his heart and soul into his job, but always managed to screw up his mission. Upon graduating, they both got their armor and equipment. The squad from the academy that Cliff and Liam had been apart of had mostly been the outcasts, so they were kept together to avoid trouble from the (barely) more competent troops. Although they were supposed to be sent to the nearly-complete Death Star, Darth Vader sent them after two droids suspected to be on Tatooine instead. In a moment of foolishness, Allen was put in charge of the mission on a blockade in Mos Eisley.
Cliff had three mouse droids arrested on "suspicious loitering", and accused a few merchants for siding with the wanted criminals.
He was wrong every time.
The only time he came close to succeeding was stopping a speeder, only to be duped by Jedi Master Obi-Wan Kenobi using a Jedi Mind trick. Easily fooled, Allen and his squad allowed Luke Skywalker and the droids they were looking for escape. In another instance, Cliff would leave a closed and locked door hiding C-3PO and R2-D2. Upon returning to the Death Star, they were lectured and Cliff was demoted back to Private. As punishment, they were dispatched to Hoth. Once more Cliff's odd luck (as well as Liam's) was apparent, as the Death Star was destroyed some time later. Cliff didn't like it on Hoth, but he was loyal and (tried) to do his job. When the battle of Hoth started, Grell convinced Allen that they were snowed into their base. Cliff has insisted that they could get out and join the fight, but Grell managed to use Cliff's obliviousness to his advantage. Once the battle was practically over, the squad of misfits finally joined their army and got into the abandoned Rebel base. While exploring the base, they had several shenanigans and misadventures as they commonly did. Following the battle, Allen and the squad remained on Hoth for another year, only to be transferred to Endor. It was suspected Endor would be the final battle between the Empire and the Rebels.
Allen and Grell were rather useless, so were given the grunt job of guarding the base... against Ewoks. That seemed easy enough. Grell made jokes about them, though Cliff was suspicious and tried to do his job right. The Ewok stole Liam's bike, and in another attempt at heroics, Cliff chased the little rascal into the forest in an attempt to retrieve it for his pal. The Ewok escaped, and Cliff returned dejectedly. He came across the rest of his troop, as well as another patrol, and they returned to the base to find Liam had given it to the Rebels. After a quick fight they managed to win it back and capture the Rebels. Cliff spotted a droid waving to them in the distance and convinced his lazy friend and companions to go capture it. Unfortunately, it was a trap and Ewoks sprang out of the forest, attacking them. Cliff tried to stay and fight, but he got caught up in the rest of his troop as they fled screaming into the forest.
Then, they weren't on Endor anymore.
ABILITIES AND EQUIPMENT

-Shooting. Cilff's shooting is so spectacularly awful that you know exactly what he's gonna hit.
-Following Orders. Probably one of the only skills Cliff actually has.
-Great Hair. Cliff knows how to do his hair.
-Kind. There's something gentle and compassionate in Cliff's actions, even if he is a klutz.
-Math Whiz. It's a mystery how someone so smart could be so dumb at the same time. The one thing Cliff can do aside from his hair is math. Even the Empire's best scientists can't compete with Cliff's mathematical knowledge.

-No common sense
-Clumsy
-Doesn't know how to think things through
-Rather weak willed
