Overall Appearance:

Burin is a very handsome young man at first glance. His piercing bright blue eyes are hard to look away. But that isn't the only thing that makes him so attractive. His boyish features are certainly pretty for a man. He has a wide forehead, which isn't covered with anything. Though, there are times he grows his hair out to fall over his eyes. But he always gets a shorter cut for better comfort in his line of job. His eyebrows are rather sharp angled, which brings the focus back to his eyes again. He is usually clean shaved, yet he has his days of facial hair. His smile is dreamy, which can be used as a weapon to get what he wants.

He is tall and athletic, taking care of his health well enough. His work out shows and he is stronger than he looks.

He prefers to wear clean and comfortable cloths, which makes it easy for moving. They are nothing overly fancy. A simple armour clipped over his torso is what he needs with his job, so he is often seen in one. While he doesn't wear a full helm, he has a black mask to cover the lower half of his face; which also prevents inhaling the knock-out gas flasks getting inhaled by himself. A pair of goggles are used along with this mask to protect his eyes and give him night vision, plus the scanning ability.

PERSONALITY

Burin is an easy-going young man with a rather friendly personality. He makes friends easily, knows how to get along with people. He doesn't even need to try. That is probably because he is entertained easily and finds joy in smallest things. He has a good heart inside and he doesn't try to hide it with acting otherwise. We can say he made peace with himself in every aspect.

He is caring toward the few people he is actually connected to. But everyone else is either a potential friend or an enemy. It's not his thing to draw a sharp line in between both terms. Yet his smart mouth and bad habits tend to get him in trouble. He can speak without thinking too much and doesn't calculate the results of his behaviour. He lives the moment.

Being a bounty hunter is a tough job, but Burin enjoys what he is doing. It brings some adrenaline and entertainment to his life, along with good money. Of course, it involves him tossing his life into danger every single day, but Burin doesn't seem to fear of death. He actually enjoys cheating death, gambling with his life. Even in the most dangerous situations, he can put on a big charming smile. He flirts around, knows he is very good looking and has no problem with using this fact to get what he wants. Though, behind all these shameless flirting and playful attitude, his heart belongs to only one woman. And she doesn't want him. Even after years of separation and heart-break, Burin didn't forget about Quinn.

It is no secret he is a gambling addict, which is one of the reasons why he needs more and more money everyday. Though, he doesn't love losing. It's why he cheats professionally. While he gets away with that most of the times, it doesn't always fly. It's the source of his troubles. The other troubling issue about Burin is his quick hands. Other than his pick-locking and pick-pocketing skills, he has this uncontrollable fascination with stealing worthless things from people. His kleptomania leads him to collect shiny junk in his ship. He's not ashamed by the fact.

History:

Burin was born in Dantooine to a middle class working family as their only child. They were not exactly rich, but they were not struggling about money either. Being the only child, Burin was finding himself rather bored at home. So he made it a habit to go out and meet new friends, make friends. He enjoyed spending time outside with friends, wandering around and exploring; doing childish things. But those years were remembered fondly. perhaps, it was why Burin became too independent, not relying on his family. He always had many friends, since he was easy to get along with others. Though, the planet was becoming too small for his free soul even at young ages.

This urge to get out of here was forgotten during his last years in school, when he met a girl named Quinn. She was breath-taking and drawing all of Burin's attention. He couldn't take his eyes off her, thus he kept making bold moves toward the young woman. It took him a while to get any reaction from her, yet he never gave up. When Quinn started to return the feelings, Burin knew he had met the love of his life. That Quinn was the person he had to spend his life with. Their time together was the best times of his life. Burin wanted to make plans for a future together, traveling together and enjoying each others' company. But Quinn had her own problems. As much as Burin tried to support her, she wasn't fully opening up to him. Burin was patient and was willing to take any length in order to make her trust him, share her pain with him; so she wouldn't need to carry the burden alone. It bore fruit. But the closer they got, the more Quinn pushed him away. During a wedding reception, Quinn finally opened up to Burin about her family troubles and the moving. She was quite upset about the whole thing. As a good boyfriend, Burin gave her a choice. They could live together and he was willing to accept Quinn's ill mother. They could go anywhere and have a good life. He could make her happy. There was no downside to this. Not that he could see. But nothing went in the way he expected. Quinn left him that night, breaking off their romantic relationship. But Burin wasn't ready to let go yet. He told her he was going to wait for her, if she changed her mind. He was hopeful she was going to return to him. Yet...

His waiting lasted for two years. He remained in Dantooine in the whole time, expecting to hear from Quinn any day. But the call never happened. She didn't come back. The heart-break wasn't easy to deal with, so Burin busied himself with preparations for leaving the planet. He had enough savings to purchase a cargo ship. Of course, he earned the majority of it by gambling. He was a fierce cheater, using his brain for bad purposes. Once he left Dantooine, he couldn't decide on a new home planet to settle in.

He started with trading small things at first. But then he discovered the fancy life of bounty hunters. It was a dangerous line of job, he he knew it was the perfect one for him. After getting the needed gear for the job, he started with small fries. It was good practise for him and it paid handsomely. Slowly creating a solid reputation for his success as a bounty hunter, Burin started to go after the bigger fish.

He was living a free life, visiting new places and meeting new people everyday. He knew all the best spots in the galaxy, learned where the best rumours were heard. Where the best booze was served in. He was making good money and multiplying it with gambling. Though, there were a few times a bounty was put over his head for his cheating tendencies. But he played it right to fool those people and collect his money, then running away with it.

While returning from one of his missions with a criminal locked up in the cargo section of his ship, Burin crash-landed onto Tatooine through a heavy dark cloud. He wasn't sure how that worked, but he found out he was in the past. Learning the man he captured had no value in this timeslip, he let him go after a moment of disappointment. But of course, that wasn't the end of his adventures. After fixing his ship, Burin was back in business. This time he was making investment in buying himself places here and there, so he wouldn't accidentally lose all the hard work he collected.
