Revan found himself waking up just as the transport landed once again on Tatooine. Recently, he and Jareth had made it quite the habit of coming here. However, this time Quinn was with the Master and Apprentice as well. Wiping away the cold from his eyes, Revan stood up and made his way to the ramp, and off of the transport. It was exactly as he had remembered it...full of sand. Sand was literally everywhere. The dunes were said to be a pretty sight in the evening, but the dark Jedi had never stayed long enough to bear witness to such a sight. Instead, it was again morning, and he was again here in search of something. There had been talks of multiple holocrons on planet. He and Jareth would be here to search out both sources. As his feet touched ground, Revan stretched out his limbs. This time he was on Tatooine without his mask, but again he could be spotted with his black robes. As he began to make his way towards the site described to hi by a lowlife Rodian, he turned to the other members of his group. "This is totally exciting, am I right?" He made a face that showed his discontent. Revan did not like Tatooine at all. He wondered if Quinn minded being here with them. The former Jedi brought her to see how far along her training had progressed. It was more so a measure of Jareth's dedication to his requests than anything. Jareth had been to Tatooine with Revan during their last visit when they had picked up their last ally, Darth Maul. He had heard of the man before from his own time line, but that had been about the extent of it at the time. Of course after that they had got stuck recovering a Holocron from Hutts on the same day, and those had turned out to be quite the set of eventful situations, but it wasn't anything that Jareth really wished to share with others, or revisit in any extent of the word.
Now they had returned once more, and Jareth really wasn't sure why, but he had obeyed and taken his student... and lover... Quinn Leer along with him. Really he hadn't had much time to train her before they had been brought on this mission, but she was able to concentrate enough to actually feel the force now, not just swim with it. Their first training session had degraded quickly from actual training though, but at the moment Jareth wouldn't bring anything like that up to Revan, sure he would find out in his own due course.
Revan's first words upon stepping into the hot son had clearly been to lighten the air around them, but Jareth only let a smirk tug at the corner of his lips as he stepped off as well, looking around a little as he took in a breath of musty air. "Care to enlighten us as to why we have returned to his forsaken world?" Jareth asked, showing some distaste for the barren world. Besides a few archaeological finds; some of which Jareth would be the first to admit were interesting, Tatooine had never yielded anything of much greatness in his opinion.

"The usual pursuit Jareth! We're here for a holocron!"
He clapped his hands together as he feigned excitement. It was getting ridiculous. How was it that Tatooine had so many holocrons? Revan still hadn't figured out how to open the last one. As such, he left it with Jareth for further study. Still, he didn't want to do this alone. It wasn't that he couldn't, but more so that he enjoyed the company of the two that joined him on this endeavor. The Rodian had told him of a woman that had very rare treasures in her possession. The dark Jedi hated dealing with the underworld, but all of the tips he had received panned out. So, he would continue on this string of adventures on the sand ball he had so grown to hate. The heat was near unbearable, and off in the distance he could see a sandstorm blowing in the opposite direction.
"Quinn! Welcome to Tatooine! Wait...have you been here before? If you have, disregard that last statement. Damn, damn it all."
Revan shifted his robes and accounted for all of his gear. He again had a backpack with him, but he again left behind his mask and decided on his lightsaber from his days as a Jedi. If he had to wield it, he wondered what Jareth would have thought. Did it even really matter? It was not like he really considered himself Sith. He was more in the middle, but he was leaning more towards the dark side as of late. Sure, he had slaughtered many Jedi since his arrival in this timeline, but he had also killed practitioners of the dark side as well.

Once again, Quinn wasn't completely sure why she was being dragged across the galaxy to the glorified litter box known as Tatooine. Sure, living quarters on the ship were getting cramped but at least there she wasn't burning up under the heat of the sun. Having grown up on Dantooine, Quinn's skin was fair and would probably burn easily under the intense double suns. As they exited the safety of the ship Quinn could feel her general tolerance for everything around her dwindle. She was a step or two behind Jareth and Revan. Normally it wasn't a bad place to be as it allowed for a lovely view of her teacher/lover Jareth. This time, however, she was left to watch the two sarcastically talk about how lovely the planet was. Quinn was not amused.
Her eyes narrowed at Revan as he welcomed her to the planet. "I've never been here," she admitted, her tone was flat and utterly joyless. "And I'm starting to wish I had stayed on the ship." The wind kicked the sand up and scraped it along her skin and tangled it in her hair. She had also started to wish she had brought something to protect her head from the sand and heat. As they walked Quinn felt herself growing more and more irritable. All of her training with Jareth up until this point had been mostly been about learning to defend herself. What she didn't quite understand was why they were always going after these holocrons. Or at least the boys were, last time they went off Quinn had been sucked into the drama that was Aldric's existence. "Ok, so I'm going to go ahead and ask the stupid question...what's a holocron and why do we care?"

He nodded a little in understanding as he heard Revan answer his question almost immediately. A Holo-cron; why wasn't Jareth surprised. It was kind of amazing how many of these things washed up on the planet like this, so forsaken and forgotten. Maybe he shouldn't have been surprised really. In many ways Tatooine was a perfect place to hide such a priceless artifact. He stepped aside quietly as he let Revan and Quinn speak for a moment, though smirked a bit at hearing Revan's confusion about weather or not Quinn had been to this planet before. After all they had been her multiple times already... it was probably getting hard to keep track of who they had with them on which occasions.
Quinn was making her rather moody replies, causing Jareth to smirk a little more, but he continued at the side quietly as he simply took the time to look around while the group gathered and soon were off and moving through the town again. It was then that Quinn asked the obvious about the holo-cron's and Jareth took the opportunity to go ahead and teach his pupil, not weighing Revan with it as it was now his responsibility.
"Holo-crons are stores of Knowledge. Many a time they contain secrets and teachings from the greatest of Force users light and dark alike. The Knowledge in one holo-cron is unmatched by even the largest computers and libraries at times... the amount of information they can hold it amazing. And Knowledge is power." Jareth explained, walking with the two of them as he looked down to her, though he himself had a question this time as he looked to Revan now. "What specifically is this Holo-cron though? Who's was it?"

He smiled as he processed the question. Revan was rather excited to be on this journey with someone who had come to be far more than an apprentice. He counted Jareth as a friend, and possibly his best friend. Knowledge was indeed power, and what he hoped this was would bring about power that Jareth could not even begin to fathom. In the very depths of his essence he could feel the mysterious power calling out to him, but he was still unsure of what it was.
"I'm not entirely sure myself. The Force for whatever reason seems to be tugging at this particular news with great enthusiasm. It's still unclear as to whether this is a path leading towards the light, or further into darkness. This may be a wild bantha chase, so I understand if you don't want to come along any further."
In that instant he felt invigorated. Having barely finished his words, the former Jedi began to pick up his pace until he broke into a run. Hopefully the others would join him, but he had already made his position clear. Where he was headed wasn't exactly safe, and Quinn hadn't finished her training as of yet. Revan could feel his lightsaber swinging back and forth on his belt as he dashed across the sand. Across the way he could see the estate that had been described by the Rodian.
"Haha! Yes!"
When he was within one hundred meters of the estate he slowed down and walked up to the gate of the compound. A sentry had been posted at the gate and ordered Revan to show identification as he pointed a blaster at the dark Jedi. Revan raised a hand and waved before speaking. He could feel the pull of the Force already beginning to take effect. Like a marionette, the sentry instantaneously fell to the will of the manipulation of the Force.
"You do not need identification. You have been told by the lady of the estate that she has guests that are to be treated as you would treat her. Now, you will open the gate."
"I do not need identification. I have been told by the lady of the estate that all guests are to be treated as I would treat her. I will now open the gate."
The sentry lowered his blaster, turned to panel near himself, hit a button, and the gates of the estate opened up. Revan smiled to himself. It wasn't something he used often, but he was glad it was of some use to him today. The former Jedi walked through the gates and up to the front door of the large estate.
