MORGAN NEEMA
The Dathomir Exile
Full Name: Morgan Neema
Gender: Female
Species: Human (Dathomiri)
Age: 23
Faction: Neutral
Class: Nightsister
Rank: Acolyte/Wanderer
Face Claim: Elizabeth Gillies
OC or Canon: Original
APPEARANCE
Height: 5'11"
Weight: 170 lbs
Eyes: Yellow
Hair: Naturally brown. Sometimes died black, and always has various colored streaks.
Overall Appearance: Morgan is tall and imposing, with a cheshire like grin and piercing eyes. They're oddly yellowish in color, the sign of a Dark Side user, and a common trait within the Nightsisters. Her face is heart shaped, with a narrow chin and full lips. Her skin is pale chalky white, only adding to her frightening complexion. Morgan dresses in typical garb of the Nightsisters, though with a preference for black or red. Among the other people in the galaxy, her attire often stands out, but it doesn't seem to bother her. Like most of the Witches of Dathomir, Morgan has several tattoos on her body, as well as a piercing on her left eyebrow. She has a presence that can be intimidating, and is thus given a lot of space.
PERSONALITY
Morgan considers herself to be a practical, logical person. She doesn't let her emotions get in the way of what she wants, and she doesn't let anyone else get in her way either. She's not exactly socially compatible (although she got along well with the others in her clan), and can sometimes be cruel and heartless. While this is true, Morgan also has a softer side which she rarely shows. It would certainly take a lot of effort to actually get her to open up, but somewhere under all the cynicism and harshness is a kind heart (sort of). Morgan does have a strong respect for nature, which might override her practicality, and she's very attached to her rancor.
She's honest and straightforward, and will speak her mind without worrying about the consequences. She can be considered arrogant, often looking down on people and treating them obnoxiously. One of the reasons she tries to be so distant and cold is because of how emotional she really is. She tries to hide it, and one can even go so far as to say she's trying to be something she's not. She hasn't exactly fallen to the Dark Side, as the rest of her clan thought, but if she doesn't clean up her act soon, she's well on her way to it.
BACKGROUND
Planet Origin: Dathomir
Starting Planet: Coruscant
Era Origin: Clone Wars Era
History:
Morgan was born in the Dathomir Nightsister clan, and while she certainly had that inner darkness, the other Nightsisters always thought there was something a little odd about her. She grew up into a very curious and overly adventurous child, wandering off into the wilds in search of excitement. This was not by Nightsister rules bad, but when Morgan met another little girl for a the Singing Mountain clan, things started to change. The Singing Mountain clan were the long-time rivals of the Nightsister, opposed to darkness of all kinds. Morgan was a rather morbid child, as was not uncommon with the Nightsisters, and the other girl found her to be strange. Still, Lena, as she was called, took it upon herself to teach Morgan all the important things. Morgan tried to share her own ideas, and while it never worked too well, the two became very close. Morgan would often run off to meet Lena whenever she got the chance. Things went on like this for a while until the Elders found out.
It happened on a cold day by a cave; Morgan and Lena's hiding place, only to be found by some Nightsister hunters. They were taken back to the clan, and Lena was killed on the spot right in front of Morgan. In a fit, the ten year old rushed to the hut she lived in and refused to come out for days despite harsh orders. Over a span of years Morgan would never really get over it, and she harnessed a growing resentment for her own clan. It didn't take them long to notice the changes; she was growing hateful and angry, and while those were encouraged emotions, they were directed at her sisters rather than their enemies. And yet, there was still compassion as well, for the innocent and the weak--something she'd learned from Lena. Things did not build up well between Morgan and her clan, but they didn't know what to do about it and things didn't get out of hand until Morgan was in her early twenties.
During an attack on the Singing Mountain clan, Morgan ran ahead to warn them so they could prepare for the fight. During the battle, Morgan went so far to kill one of her sisters in an attempt to protect a weakened woman of the enemy. The biggest crime possible... murdering your own kin. The battle was lost, and the Nightsisters retreated, bringing Morgan in to face judgement and punishment for her crimes. It was decided she would be exiled from the village, left to wander Dathomir alone. Morgan packed her things and left, more upset about it than she cared to admit, although she'd never quite fit in. She went to the Singing Mountain clan, hoping they'd be willing to take her in after she helped them in the battle. She helped rebuild the village to show her good intentions. They were wary of her, but could see her intentions were genuine and agreed to let her join them.
It was a peaceful living, but didn't last long. Morgan clashed with their ideals almost as badly as the Nightsisters; she had too much darkness in her, harnessed the anger and hatred, and refused to give up her dark magic. She left shortly after joining, and indeed was forced to wander Dathomir alone. It was some months later she arrived to find a ritual being performed by the Nightsisters, her old coven. They were not aware of her presence at first, too focused on their chanting. But whatever they were doing, Morgan knew it had to be stopped. And so calling on her own magic and force power, she slowly unraveled what was holding the foundations of the spell together. No one could have foreseen what happened next...
The result was disastrous.
Morgan had torn a hole in the very fabrics of reality, a tear in the force itself and causing more trouble than she realized. All across space and time, people from everywhere were displaced from their own timelines.
At the time, the Nightsisters didn't know what was happening, but they spotted Morgan and realized that whatever it was, she was responsible for it and had disrupted their spell. With the raw energy still crackling around them, the Clan elder yelled for Morgan to be killed. The younger witch fled, only to realize she was getting caught up in the storm of energy.
When the storm faded, Morgan was gone.
