Helene can be described as thorough, instinctive, and ruthless. She is an intelligent bounty hunter that will stop at next to nothing to get her mark. Like most Mandalorians of the mercenary army, she is motivated by money and the chance to further spread her name throughout the galaxy. When not off somewhere fighting, she can either be found honing her skills or drinking with her men. Helene rarely loses her cool, and can be counted on to lead her men in any and every situation. Even though she is a leader, she can be found losing her cool when it comes to politics and when it comes to those that she loves. There have been tales of her crying once, but she killed the man that had been said to witness her at her weakest. To be a ruthless as Helene is she still lives by a code and will kill any that break the code she has given to the many as the Mand'alor.

History:
Helene Mao was born on Mandalore, and raised to be a warrior from a very early age. Both of her parents were members of the infamous Mandalorians before they died by the hand of some unknown Jedi when she was ten. Ever since then, Helene has sworn a blood oath of vengeance against the Jedi. Being a Mandalorian, Helene had to learn the customs of the many different species of Mandalorians as well as their languages. However, she was also required to know and speak the native language above all else. The young warrior soon joined the ranks her parents were once a part of. Much of her upbringing has seen Helene in battle. With war after war under her belt, the young warrior quickly rose through the ranks and eventually surpassing her parents. In short time, she became the right hand of the one true leader. She was often seen with him, and offered her military strategies during the many campaigns and raids that the Mandalorians took part in. Eventually, as with all leaders, a time came when talks began to spread throughout. The current leader was dying, and talks of a replacement could not be quieted. For the most part, many were fine with Helene being the successor to the leader. However, a sect of Mandalorians were not okay with those talks and began to try to eliminate Helene from the equation. While the Mand'alor was on his deathbed, a fight for the mantle broke out. In the course of the fighting, most of the opposition was stamped out. However, there were still many that escaped the cluster. With enough glory and backing from the fight for the mantle, Helene became the Mand'alor after the death of the previous incumbent. Helene has only recently been named the Mand'alor. However, with her rise to power, Helene has decided to make her presence known beyond the cluster or her predecessor. So far, Helene has taken to trying to control trade beyond her cluster and bringing her brand of justice to the neighboring systems.
