It was clear he didn’t like the idea of her biting him again, which only drove Xilaren to want to do it all the more. “I can think of a lot better places to try and keep me locked up for your pleasure.” Oh yes she had played with fire and the chances were she was going to get slightly burn today. She already knew she would have to fight hard to get out of this alive, he was bent on killing her and she was bent on unhinging him again. Every change she would get she would flirt with him or kiss him; the idea of attempting to do that just caused a slight thrill to travel up her back. Many would think she was crazy having a fight for her life and instead of trying to find a way to get out alive she was thinking of kissing him.
She watched his saber closely, not moving as he slowly walked closer and the smile never leaving her face. “So tell me did you get a double blade lightsaber before or after you were cut in half, I can understand wanting one now to make up for what you.. um lost..” She was smirking now.

The acrobatic moves he had done with the saberstaff were looking very difficult. But it was so easy in the Dathomirian Sith Lord's hands. It was obvious he was a master with the weapon of his preference and had been practising for many years. He swung it around himself and even drew perfect circles before him. It was rather threatening for his opponent. After all, a saberstaff could reach a larger area; when used wisely. And no one could use this weapon better than Darth Maul.
He seemed ignorant on the rest of the woman's words, not bothering for a reply or further reaction. It only meant Maul wanted her dead. A lot.
But when she made that comment on his weapon choice and brought the subject of his half cybernetic body; Maul gave a sneer. He didn't like this topic at all. It reminded him of Kenobi and it angered him further. It wasn't only half of his body he lost. There was a lot more to that. His sanity, his status and all those years... He had lost everything with his fall.
"I might have lost half of my body, but you'll lose your head now, Jedi." He said in return, tone smooth. But he didn't wait for the female to attack first. It was always him first engaging in a fight. He was quick to make a slash at the woman in an opening chance. Yet the wonder of using a saberstaff was the incoming next attack of the second blade in a completely different angle. While it was more difficult to use and required more perfect concentration, it was the most lethal weapon in an expert's hands.

Maul was skilled, she would give him that, throwing his saberstaff around him and such with speed. It was very impressive as well as slightly intimidating; to which she was sure was the reason he was doing such a thing. After all he wanted her to be scared, being scared would make her an easier target. Xilaren however pushed her fear aside and just waited; watching his movements. Her comment about him being cut in half once again hit a nerve, hitting it hard. He didn’t like to be reminded of being cut down in size; nor did the memories she was sure come along with it.
“If you really want me to lose my head baby you don’t need a lightsaber, trust me.” She couldn’t help it now, she was so use to twisting his words that she couldn’t really stop herself from doing so now. Even faced with death she couldn’t stop herself from taking his threat and turning it around into a comment that had nothing to do with death. There wasn’t much time however to enjoy her last comment as he came at her quickly, Xilaren had to move fast in order to block his blows; after all he had two blades to work with where she only had the one. She worked had to deflect his blows, having to step back in order to help keep a slight distance between the two of them. His men had wanted a fight and they were getting front row to one now. Xilaren kept her eyes locked on Maul’s hopping to read his nect attack or reaction from there, her hands and blade moved quickly to block him as her mind tried to find ways out of the corner she was backing herself into.
