Jaina saw his eyes change for a moment, and it made her just look at him wondering what it was that had caused him to go from normal eyes back to yellow. Little did she know that he believe she was giving up on him, ready to kill him though in truth she had come to save him. The last few minutes together after falling through the tunnel showed her that he could still be saved that he’s not all gone after all he could have killed her a few times already.
Jaina wasn’t able to say anything however before being attacked, taking to attacking the monster was the only way she could think of handling it. It was hearing her brother scream at her that she realized he could handle this another way. Ever since they were children he had had a way with animals and if anyone could get them out of this it would be him. So it was with a deep breath she turned off her lightsaber and attached it to her belt again, trusting in her brother that he would get them out of this alive. Many would call her foolish to do so, after all he was a sith now and not above killing people; even his own sister if he needed to. But she wanted him to know she still believe in him and so she took a step back, trying to avoid the tentacles.
“I have no doubt of that, you make a good meal with me as a desert.” Jaina was not the one in the family to be good at cutting jokes but she felt it might be a good way to let him know she was trusting in him right now and maybe ease a little tension in the air.

Caedus now rose his good hand up, palm facing the beast's way. Smaller animals required less effort. But with a complicated creature before him in this massive size, it required a lot more. He closed his eyes and focused on the Force. He didn't give any visible reaction to Jaina's attempt in a joke. While Caedus was an expert of bad jokes, when he was Jacen Solo; he seemed to lose his sense of humour after becoming a Sith Lord.
Or perhaps, he didn't hear her in this case. He was too focused on what he was doing. And it was working. The massive beast shuddered one last time and started to crawl back into the big hole it came from in the first place. Earth kept shaking under their feet, leaving it's place to small tremors. Then it was all gone.
Relieving a sigh, he finally opened his eyes and lowered his hand. He made the creature think they were not labeled for food, so it went elsewhere to feed his hungry stomach. Once again the twins were left alone and Caedus turned his face at Jaina's way. He might have saved their lives here, but this was not the reason Jaina was with him now. His brown gaze was cold and distant.
"You want to kill me." It wasn't a question. No, it was a statement. It was something he realised and needed to word it, thus he could hear it from Jaina's tone.

Jaina still wasn’t sure if this was really going to work, nor was she sure that Jacen just wouldn’t convince the monster to take her and eat her instead. After all though she wanted to trust her brother, to think of him as he was before she had to face the facts that he most likely wanted her dead anyway. Still she stood there ready to grab her saber again if she had to, as well as make a run for it; where she had no clue. I the end however Jacen seemed to get control over the monster and it slowly sank back into the sand and away from the twins.
Jaina didn’t move from where she was standing, her eyes still on the same spot where the beast and vanish from; waiting for him to jump back out at him. She was snapped out of it as Jacen statement of her wanting to kill him hit her ears. “If I had wanted to kill you jacen I had the chance back when I shot your shoulder; I didn’t come to kill you I can to try and save you from yourself.” Her eyes were locked with his again as she tried to keep a claim tone to her voice and not grow angry that he would think that of her or really hurt. Granted they were not fighting on the same side anymore, but that didn’t mean she wanted him dead that didn’t mean she wanted to be the one to kill him. No deep down she truly hoped and believe that he could be saved; she just had to find a way to do it.

His brown eyes were still locked on Jaina, as she made her defense. He didn't blink for a good while. And his good hand was being raised up to press against his injured shoulder. His black robe was wet from his own blood, seeping down to the rest of the arm. Now all the dangers were gone and the shock of the moment was no more, he could feel the pain. It was Jaina who shot him. And now she was claiming she didn't want to kill him, as she hid away like a sniper.
He had hard time believing in that.
But then there came the part about Jaina saying how she came after him to save him from himself. Caedus couldn't help but give a snort at that. This was funny. No, it was beyond amusing. Though, his mood was already shifting; as his eyes. They were turning into molten gold once again. Not that he was aware without seeing himself in a mirror.
"And how are you planning to save me, Jaina?" He frowned, but a big yet furious smile was on his face. "Do you plan to lock me down in the attic? Or will it be the basement? Will you lecture me until I change to something that's not me?"

Jaina watched his hand go to his shoulder that she had shot and a flutter of guilt hit the pit of her stomach, no wonder he believe she was trying to kill him after all she had shot him while hiding out as a sniper. Even though she had only done that to make him weaker so she could take him down. Just a quickly as the guilt hit her however Jaina forced it away, she needed to stay focus if she had any hope of making it out of here in tack and maybe with her brother seeing some reason. Though the hope for that was quickly flying away as she watched his eyes once again turn to that scary yellowed look.
“You and I both know that wouldn’t work, we are too stubborn to every listen to someone who has us locked away.” Though she wouldn’t lie the thought had crossed her mind but then again it would be pointless, how many times had she and her brother escaped from being locked up. No if she locked him up he wouldn’t be willing to even look into himself to find the good still there, and only be bent on escaping. “It is in you, I’ve seen it already a few times.”

Applying more pressure against his shoulder, now Jacen was almost digging his fingers around the injured skin. It was obvious he was putting more pain, so he could feed on it. His yellow eyes were furious, as their conversation continued. He really didn't like where this was going. But at least, he was not drawing his lightsaber to attack his twin sister.
It was giving him such a great dose of rage to think of his family -or rather old family- was plotting against him. He was already expecting it, but that didn't change the fact it hurt to accept it. That made him even more furious. Frowning and unable to control his anger at the moment, Caedus turned his back at Jaina; his black robes dancing around his long legs. It was a risky move to turn his back on the enemy like this, but he wasn't thinking much. And it might be a slight sign of him trusting Jaina wouldn't stab him in the back. Or it was rather him underestimating her. One could never know. Everything seemed too complicated with him at this point.
"Then what do you plan to do, Jaina?" He frowned, still not looking at her. "What did you and Luke plan after capturing me?" He wanted to hear this.

Jaina watched as Jacen put more pressure on his shoulder, almost as if he was digging his fingers into it. She wanted to offer him help, even taking a step forward, but his yellow eyes stopped her. It wasn’t a good idea to approach him like that. He wasn’t really stable and was clearly angry at her, at everyone. So Jaina stood there wishing she could reach him, wishing he knew how much she still l oved him and how much their parents still loved them. The idea of losing her only brother still alive was killing Jaina, why couldn’t he understand that.
“I’m not sure what I was planning Jacen, the truth is I didn’t know if trying to subdue you would even work but I had to try.” Luke was the one that had really planned it out far enough, Jaina just wanted to get her brother back. She didn’t move when he turned his back to her, it was the perfect time if she had wanted to kill him she could; pull out her lightsaber and stab him right in the back. But her saber stay clipped to her hip and she just looked at the back of his head, letting her heart fell with love toward him, as well as memories of her childhood fill her mind, hopping he would feel those things.

This talk was no use. They were talking in circles without actually getting anywhere. Jaina didn't know what she wanted. Furious, Caedus turned at his twin sister with made yellow eyes. When he spoke, he was hissing and growling. "That's enough, Jaina!" Whatever control he had before was no longer there. And he was clinging to his shoulder with even more pressure now.
"Don't come after me again!" He yelled at her. He was going to leave this planet and he didn't want Jaina to follow him. He couldn't stand to talk further with her. Though, to make that certain, he was already summoning something by the Force. The beast they faced only moments ago, suddenly jumped back from the hole underground, aiming for Jaina. It was hungry and angry. But Caedus remained invisible for the creature's eyes.
This was Caedus' chance to disappear.

The change in Jacen caused Jaina to step back, she didn’t reach for her weapon but she was ready if he was about to attack. She had pushed him to hard she knew that now, next time she would have to try a different way but she wasn’t about to give up. Even with him yelling at her not to come after him again. “I won’t give up on you Jacen, never, you’re my brother and always will be.” She yelled at his reatreating back, but she didn’t go after him. Even if she wanted to she wouldn’t have been able to for a moment later the beast was back, and it was clear Jacen had sent it after her.
Jaina could do nothing now but pull out her saber and fight for her life, she would have to find Jacen at another time. Right now she had to make sure she was not dinner.
