"You two, secure the Moffs in the anteroom. I'll handle the sniper personally." He motioned at the two remaining Stormtroopers. But his order was being questioned already.
"Personally?" Moff Westermal asked in his deep, refined voice. "Are you sure that's wise, Lord Caedus? You're already injured." Lecersen interefered at this moment. "Kosimo makes a good point. Let the Elite Guard deal with the sniper. The rest of the company will be here any moment."
But Caedus wasn't going to cooperate with their line of thought. "My injuries are of no concern." His tone was calm and smooth, as his good hand touched the injured shoulder. He was recently shot in the shoulder, which left his arm useless. But that didn't put him out of commission. He was confident enough to take this sniper down with one arm. "And the Elite Guard won't be arriving in time. I'm afraid the Mandalorians sealed this section of the command warren before their attack." We then waved the Moffs away, so he could give his pure attention to this sniper.
He focused on the hiding spot of this unknown enemy and took notice of the barrel of the weapon. Raising his injured arm up, he made a twisting motion with his hand. Just like that the barrel of the weapon was turned upward and useless. So the sniper could no longer try to shoot him from the distance. Though, the following noise surprised him a little. It was the hiss of a lightsaber. And Caedus couldn't feel the presence of any Force users around, which could mean one thing...
Without worrying about his injured state, he activated his crimson coloured lightsaber in his good hand. His pain would only fuel his strength and determination. He didn't think twice to Force-leap up at the hole in the upper wall, going directly for his attacker. The first thing he did as he landed was to lean backward in time to avoid getting cut with a blade. Then he met a boot to his side in a hard kick. Caused admitted. Whoever this enemy was, it was good. He saw the attack coming, but couldn't deflect it in time, so now his breath left his lungs. He countered with a horizontal slash oh his lightsaber, which was combined with a hard kick at his enemy's legs. In return he received an elbow under his chin, which almost knocked him off his feet. A lightsaber slash was in order and Caedus could block it in the last second, saving himself from being sliced into two. He didn't stop there, though. He spun and landed his boot at his attacker's chest, sending the brown cloaked person backward. It was then the hood fell off the head of his enemy and Caedus' citrine yellow eyes were widened with slight horror.
"Luke?" He murmured, having a moment of conflict in his mind about if he should just turn around and run away or not. It was the one man Caedus preferred not to fight against with an injured arm.

Jaina was laying in hiding, the sniper riffle in front of her and pointed down toward what once was her brother. She focused her mind on the task at hand, not on the fact that she once cared very much for the man before her. The two where twins and had since birth held a strong bond with each other that had often helped them cause trouble or save each other’s lives. It was a bond not of just normal twines but those strong in the force; their family bloodline having the force flow freely threw it. Now however Jacen had turned his back on what was good and embraced his darker side; and Jaina knew she had to be the one to stop him. Though she wasn’t here to kill him, but to bring him home for she couldn’t help but hope he could still be redeemed. She wasn’t alone however, her uncle Luke Skywalker was here as well though what he was doing she didn’t know.
Jaina had decided to try just shooting her brother from a distance, though she knew it would not put an end to him. No they would have to meet in a duel but the shot to his shoulder was to get his undivided attention and it worked for he sent away his little stormtroopers leaving the two of them alone. Jaina however did not come out of her hiding spot right away, she stay in the shadows and watched her brother. As he reached out with the force and twisted the barrel of the gun, Jaina stood taking her lightsaber in hand and activated it; filling the shadows with a soft purple glow. She knew she had gotten a drop on him for he had not been able to sense that another person capable of using the force as close by, she had trained hard to be able to turn the force off; so to speak; so that others wouldn’t feel her presents a trick that Jacen had learned as well.
With his own lightsaber activated, Jacen leapt to the area that Jaina had been hiding in; she didn’t think twice as she swung her lightsaber at him; though he was quickly to lean back to avoided the attack. This didn’t stop Jaina as she kicked out, her boot landing into his side as hard as she could, hoping to either push him back down or crack a rip; making it harder to breath and move. She was quick to block his counter attack with his lightsaber and moved quickly to elbow him in the chin as she turned in a circle to advoide his kick; using he lightsaber once again to try to cut him in two. Jacen however blocked it and with a spin sent a kick into her chest causing her to fly back and the hood of her robes to come off her head. Taking a deep breath, though it hurt, Jaina noticed the widen eyes and the horror that was in his face.
Jaina didn’t know what tricks her uncle was using, that he had cover her image with his own to cause Jacen to fear for Luke was far more powerful and skilled then Jacen. No she just believe he saw her and was for a moment scared to fight his own sister. That gave her hope that maybe he was reachable, that he could be redeemed. The moment however was fleeting, and she pushed it from her mind quickly. Even if Jacen was able to be saved she would still have to fight him now, still have to beat him and bring him home; he would not go willing and she knew that. So with her face set she closed the distance quickly and start in on her attack, slashing and moving quickly to keep him on the defense.

A loud voice in his head was telling him to run away now. Fast. Taking on Luke Skywalker was already not the easiest thing to do, with one useless arm it was going to prove even more difficult. But Caedus couldn't stop now. He couldn't turn around and run away. He was going to put all he had in this battle and press forward until he found an opening in Luke's defenses.
Caedus always knew there would be a time for Luke to come after him. Now he probably knew about Mara Jade's murder by his own hands, too. His visions of the future pointed at this battle and Caedus was not going to allow Luke to win. Though, that didn't change the fact he was actually terrified of Luke. He wasn't one to be underestimated. After all, he was supposed to be the greatest Jedi ever. And Caedus was already injured.
No words came from Luke's lips. Instead he kept attacking on and on, not giving Caedus any second to recover. But he didn't need that in the first place. Bringing his lightsaber down to block the other, Caedus made a swirl and got even closer to his enemy. They were family once. But not anymore. All were gone and cut off the moment he left his Jacen Solo persona behind. Now it felt like a completely separate being.
With the closeness, Caedus brought the pommel of his crimson lightsaber to the other's face; slamming it hard enough to bleed. Caedus didn't speak either, allowing the deadly silence in between them grow. Only heated noises of their duel could be heard in the area. Lightsabers hissing and his loud breathing. His nostrils were flaring with rage, his yellow eyes were widened with pure concentration.
But he didn't stop there. Right away he was rearing back a heavy boot to make a Force induced kick at his uncle's stomach.

There was no needs to words, partly because Jaina did not want to hear Jacen’s voice, she didn’t want to think of her brother at all. He needed to be dead to her right no if she was going to beat him and bring him back home. To let her mind remember anything about their child would make this worse, though all day leading up to this moment and no matter how much she had tried to fight it memories had filled her mind. The worse part she was remember all the jokes he would say, some of them were just lame but each one always caused a little smile to light her face and shake her head. It was still hard to believe that someone as sweet as her brother had been had turned to the dark side.
Each blow that Jaina delivered Jacen blocked with his own blade and counter attacked. It was a dance between the two of them, both where skilled and equally matched. At one point Jacen’s pommel of his lightsaber connected with her forehead, causing starts to burst in front of her eyes and blood to trickle down her forehead. She had not time to whip the blood away as he kept attacking her, slowly Jaina was losing the attack and having to switch to defense.
Then there came a kick, a heavy boot to the pit of her stomach with the aid of the force to throw her back further. Jaina hit the wall then the ground, but forced herself to get back to her feet quickly for she didn’t have time to rest. Her stomach hurt now and her rips had a slight burning to them telling her that one or two could be cracked. She needed to buy herself some time before attacking again, so using thef force she pulled everything she can to fly it at Jacen; her lightsaber in one hand as the other was held out directing everything she could find. As one item flew at him she was already pulling another item toward him as well.

His last attacks were successful to send Luke flying back toward the wall, certainly hard enough to crack a few ribs. And he heard them snapping. But he didn't pause to act cocky. He had no seconds to waste, no luxury to take his sweet time with this man. So he took two slow steps toward and and deactivated his crimson lightsaber, tucking it under his injured arm. Then his good hand was brought to his chest level, index finger pointing up like was making a warning or wagging a finger. But it was the same moment the objects flying at him froze in the air, making no further way. He opened his palm now, which was parallel to the ground. He was playing with the Force, making all the objects fall down to the gravity. His citrine yellow eyes were on his attacker in the meanwhile. He didn't even blink in a rather focused but creepy way.
Dodging the last flying object with a wave of hand, Caedus brought his hand forward and splayed his fingers before lightning shot up; aiming for his enemy. If Luke wanted to play it this way, then so be it. Caedus wasn't going to run away, even if it meant one of them was going to end up dead. He wasn't afraid of death, but it simply wasn't in his plans to die today. Injured arm or not, he had learned the things Luke didn't and he wasn't afraid to use them.
Since it was clear Luke wasn't here to talk, then it must have meant he was here for only the kill. Caedus didn't speak since his moment of surprise either. Words would only provide distraction for now and he wasn't going to take that risk. Not that there was anything to talk at this point. They would let their actions speak instead.

He was powerful, that was very clear when all the items she had sent to distract him stop in midair and then dropped to the ground. The two of them locked eyes on each other and didn’t look away. Jaina was hopping to see some sign of goodness left in him, some sign that told her he wasn’t too far gone yet but all she saw was anger and hate; not to mention the longing to killing her. How could he stand there looking at her, his own twin and wanting to see her dead?
The two of them didn’t move toward each other right now, but Jaina was mindful of his movements. The moment he brought his hand up and splayed his fingers, Jaina brought up her own lightsaber to block the lighting coming at her. The force was great and it took Jaina planting her feet into the ground and gripping her saber tight in order to withstand the lighting coming from his hands. They stood lock like this for a moment before Jaina quickly dropped and rolled of the way and back to her feet. Her ribs where telling her she couldn’t do something like that, but she had to push through the pain and go on.
Using the force she rushed her brother and bringing down her lightsaber, this fight would not end using the force alone they were both skilled in their own way. No this duel needed to be relied on their skill with lightsabers. As her light saber came down she took a good look into Jacen’s eyes, they were yellow now, cold and evil looking causing a slight shiver up her spin. They were void of the warmth he use to have, the kindness he displayed to animals that he would find and care for; all in eye his eyes were death.

The more lightning Caedus sent toward Luke's way, it was all blocked by his lightsaber. They remained in a lock for a good while until he stopped with the Force lightning. It wasn't a skill one could use for longer periods since it would drain too much energy from the user. But the moment he stopped, his attacker was rushing toward him with a slash of lightsaber.
Quickly grabbing his own lightsaber from under his bad arm, Caedus activated it to life in a blink and blocked the incoming attack. Pushing at the other lightsaber with his to press forward, Caedus gave a very determined face. But as the duel went on in a heated way, the ground was suddenly pulled back from their feet. Their surrounding became blurry, then leaving it's place to a great darkness. Only in a heart beat, both were falling down from a tunnel at a great speed. The sharp wind hit Caedus cheek length of brown hair and black cloak, now flagging behind him.
He had no idea what just happened. Was this a mind trick? After pushing away the moment of shock, Caedus turned his yellow eyes at Luke... And he didn't see his uncle. It was Jaina who was suffering from a long fall along him. Now his confusion was doubled and they didn't even see the ground yet. What was Jaina doing here and where did Luke disappear?
"Jaina?"
Deactivating his lightsaber, Caedus gripped it hard in his hand and focused on taking his control. If they were falling, then there was going to be an end to that. With this speed, there was no way any of them would survive. It would be a quick death, Caedus admitted. But he still had no plans of dying today.
When the dark void pushed them into a new turn, Caedus could see the sandy land markings of some old planet. Now they could see where they were going to land. But instead of panicking, Caedus closed his eyes for a brief moment and cleared his head with a Jedi relaxation technique. When he opened his eyes, they were brown again. Then he brought both hands up, pushing the pain of his injured shoulder away. A Force barrier was now surrounding twins, slowing their fall. It wasn't slow enough for no impact landing, but at least they would survive. The ground reached them too fast and when they finally hit the sandy ground, Caedus rolled until the momentum died away. During his landing his lightsaber was dropped away and it got half-buried in the sand.
It was painful, but pain was good for a Sith Lord. It was the source of their power. Once Caedus stopped rolling, he remained laying in the sand to regain some of his energy.

The two of them where moving quickly, their sabers clashing at every turn as they danced in circles around each other. It was a very heated, both of their faces showed how focus they were on each other; one wrong move would mean the end of one of them. The ground however started to pull away from their feet and the very room where their duel took place was fading away from their sight. Moments later Jaina could feel herself falling, threw a dark tunnel and she lost eye contact with her brother for a moment. The duel was over for the time being, after all this sudden opening in the ground was a shock to both of them.
Jaina deactivated her own lightsaber at the time she heard Jacan say her name, not missing the question in his voice as if he was shocked that she was falling beside him. How could he be shocked to see her falling through the dark with him when they had been battling it out against each other just moments ago? Jaina didn’t need to ask what her brother was doing, and didn’t have to wonder if he would attack her as they fell. Right now the fight between the two of them was the farthest thing from both of their minds, right now it was what would happen with this dark tunnel ended. At the speed their where going it would only mean a very badly crash into whatever was at the end of it, some way they needed to slow down their speed. Unable to really see what her brother was doing, Jaina still followed process of claiming her mind and focusing her strength to use the force to slow her down so that when she made contact with whatever was at the end of the tunnel she would live.
Maybe it was the stain of fighting her brother or the stress she had been dealing with him turning to the dark side, but Jaina mind was not clearing as it should. No matter how hard she tried she would clear it for a moment only to have memories flood it again; causing her to lose focus. The ground was coming closer now and it didn’t help with claiming her mind, but as she neared it she could feel something push back to slow her down. She knew what it was and looked over at Jacen, seeing for once his eyes returning to their normal brown color; same as hers.
She didn’t ‘have very long to really look at him before she hit the ground and rolled for a while due to the force on contact. Finally when her body stopped rolling she laid there for a bit, her head turned slightly with her check pressed into the sand. Her rips were screaming in pain with each breath she took but she was alive. “I’ve gone through some dark tunnels before, but that is the longest one.” She murmured not lifting her head as her mind went over every inch of her body to see if anything else was really hurt before she moved.

He might have slowed down their fall for a great deal, but the impact was still too much. Especially in his already injured state, the added pain was ringing in his head; then spreading through the rest of his body. Now laying on his back in the sand, Caedus was gasping in quick and shallow breaths to control some of the pain. His eyes remained brown as in their natural colour for the while. The relaxation technique worked, but there were a few major things bothering him at the moment.
Bringing his good hand against his injured shoulder, Caedus took in a deep breath and turned his face to the side to look at his twin sister. But she must have landed not that close, thus all he saw was more sand. What was she doing here? And where did Luke disappear into? He was quite sure he didn't fall with them. But none of this was making any sense.
So Caedus had to ask it to the nearest person around him. "Where is Luke, Jaina?" It was obvious he was more concerned about Luke showing up anytime, while he laid down here injured. "Were you with him all this time?" Perhaps, his words made no sense for his twin sister. But Caedus had to word his concern, so he could at least be a bit more prepared for whatever was to come.
Lifting his head up a little, he squinted his brown eyes and tried to find Jaina. But from this laying position, it was quite difficult. So he started to push himself in a sitting position, good hand still pressed against his injured shoulder. Once he had enough height to see beneath small sand bumps, Caedus was able to see Jaina's laying form not too far away. As pained and tired as he was seen, he still pushed himself up on his feet. He was a bit unbalanced on his feet. But it showed how strong and determined he was to move around in his injured state.
His eyes were wandering around to find the trace of his lightsaber. But he didn't seem to be interested in fighting Jaina. If he did, he would already start without needing his weapon.

Nothing else was hurt to badly besides her lungs, but Jaina still didn’t push herself up from where she laid. She was tired and confused now, tried of fighting her brother and confused from what had just happen to them. Being sucked into a dark tunnel and landing in an area unlike were they had started was not normal. Her mind was working quickly trying to figure out what could have caused this and why she hadn’t felt it coming. She was sure her brother hadn’t caused this, he was just as shocked as she was when the two of them fell through the darkness.
She heard Jacen move and his voice asking were Luke was, and if she was with him this whole time. Slowly Jaina pulled herself up from the sand and to her knees to look in his direction. “Luke was only with me when I arrived, he wasn’t in the same room when we fought Jacen. Or not that I know of.” This caused Jaina to wonder and look around quickly to see if by chance their uncle had traveled with them. She had not seen anyone else but Jacen and her through the tunnel so chances were they were alone here.
Jaina watched her brother stand, forcing herself to her own feet as she looked at him; thrusting out her hand to summon her saber to her. She didn’t want to fight him but she had to be ready in case he started to attack her again. She wouldn’t make the first move this time and from the way he was acting he wasn’t about to attack her either. He was still to far away to get a clear look at him, to see his face and that his eyes were clear now. “Where are we.” Jaina asked looking around again not recognizing the area.

Jaina's answer wasn't satisfying. No, it made no sense. But through the Force, he could feel it was not a lie. That didn't start making sense to him either. But then Caedus came to realise... It was a mind trick. Caedus was strong willed, yes. But there was a good reason he was so careful about Luke. Him being the greatest Jedi wasn't just a saying. It was the truth. Even Caedus couldn't resist his mind tricks. But still, there was something bothering the Sith Lord here.
That was why he turned his brown gaze on Jaina, who was getting up and summoning her lightsaber. In the same time, Caedus was able to pull his own lightsaber from where it was half-buried in the sand; now reaching to his grip. His long fingers were closed upon the silver metal, ready to activate it to life and attack. But first there was a pause. And then he was clipping his lightsaber back to his utility belt. He was wearing the standard G.A.G. uniform under his black robes.
"We... fought?" Caedus asked the obvious. He wasn't a hundred percent sure, if that was true. He knew how Jaina fought and that wasn't like her. "No, I was fighting Luke back there." He denied, his face now looking confused. Turning his head away, he didn't answer Jaina's next question of their whereabouts right away. There was a thoughtful aura on Caedus for the while. And he remained silent for a few more moments before pushing him back to the present.
"Not just where... When, also." He said. At first glance, he might not be making a lot of sense. But he was certainly not wrong with his statement. He could feel everything change through the Force and this was making even less sense for him. "Why would Luke send us here?" He asked, mostly mumbling to himself at this point.

Jaina held her lightsaber tight as she watched Jacen summon his own saber, she was ready to fight him once again if she had to; she had after all made the choice to do anything to bring him down and with hope make him see reason. But he didn’t attack her, instead he clipped his saber to his belt and after a moment Jaina did the same. “No we fought Jacen, it was just you and I.” She answered back slightly confused at his words. How could he think that she was Luck while they battled only a few moments ago, though she looked a great deal like their mother there was no way to really to mistake her for their uncle. This caused Jaina to wonder how much the dark side had really mess with her brother’s brain if he was seeing Luke while they fought instead of her.
It then dawned on her what must have happen, Luke had traveled with her to find Jacen, but he had not entered the room to fight Jacen; or Jaina had not believe he had anyway. Luke must have been hidden somewhere else and was making Jacen see him while fighting Jaina; why Jaina didn’t know though she would surely ask her uncle if they ever got back home.
At Jacen’s mention of not just where were they but when Jaina eyes grew wide slightly as she looked around again. Stretching out her own feelings she knew he was right, they were not only in a different area but in a different time as well; everything about this place was different then what she was use to. “I don’t think he sent us here, it’s someone else.” She stated softly as she looked around some more. Her uncle was indeed powerful but she couldn’t think of any reason why he would send them back in time without first telling her. No there was someone else behind all of this.

Caedus returned his brown gaze back at Jaina, when she insisted on it was him and her who battled in the meeting room. She was not lying. He could sense that in the Force. But he just didn't want to believe in that. "No." He said simply, his expression still confused. "But you don't fight like that." Caedus knew every little detail about Jaina's saber skills. They practised together too much to find her fighting style predictable. But what he had only moments ago... It couldn't be Jaina, unless she learned new tricks.
"He didn't?" Caedus asked with a frown. He was disagreeing with everything Jaina said at this point. "This is a perfect way of him punishing me." Kicking the sand, Caedus sucked in a breath. But Jaina was probably right. If Luke wanted to punish him and him only, then why would he send Jaina along?
Yes, none of this made any sense.
Glancing around in order to find any trace of civilization, Caedus found himself freezing with a very loud growl of some beast. Quickly he searched around, but he could feel the ground shaking under his feet. His eyes were shifted down, but there was a sudden explosion in the sand; sending both twins fly backward. It was then the massive beast showed it's ugly face, many tentacles and teeth coming from the really big face. Caedus didn't need his Force abilities to understand the beast was seeing them as his next meal.

Jaina couldn’t see why it was so hard for Jacen to believe that it had been her and not Luke that he had fought, until he mention her fighting skills. This causes Jaina to raise and eyebrow for a moment before shaking her head. “If you can learn new skills Jacen so can I.” After all he had learned the ways of the darkness, giving him new skills so she had to find a new way to fight her own brother as well. The two of them had trained to long together for him not to know her fighting skills, so if she didn’t change her tactics then he would kill her with ease.
“If he was punishing you by sending you here, then why in all that is good would he send me.” Jaina didn’t hide the frustration in her voice, and for a moment it was like they were on the same side again and he had just said an annoying joke or something else that just caused her to roll her eyes. But anything else that Jaina wanted to say on the matter was lost as a loud growl interrupted her thoughts, follow by a quick trip into the air and back onto the ground. A massive beast showed his ugly head with a mouth full of teeth and more tentacles than Jaina wanted to count. It was clearly hungry and two humans had just arrived to become it’s meal. Scrambling quickly to her feet Jaina pulled out her lightsaber and started to defend herself, cutting into one of the tentacles which cause the beast to let out a nasty screech.

Caedus gave a surprised glance at Jaina for her words. She was reminding him how his arrogance was blinding his logic. He was too busy underestimating her, he never actually thought he had been fighting Jaina all this time. It was the moment of him realising what had been going on. Now looking at his twin sister with wide unbelieving eyes, Caedus held his breath a little.
So Jaina was actually here to end his life. He supposed he should have expected that, especially after what happened with Mara Jade. His family no longer wanted him alive. It was a painful fact to accept, but Caedus knew he could feed on the pain. It made a Sith Lord stronger. He could use it for his gain. Yet it still didn't change the fact it broke his heart deep inside.
"So be it." His brown eyes flashed in a yellow colour only for a brief second. But then the Sarlacc happened. Caedus reached for his lightsaber and unclipped it from his belt. He could always try to touch the large beast's mind through the Force. He had been good with animals since his childhood. It wasn't an easy task, but he could always try. But before he could concentrate, Jaina was already attacking the beast; cutting off a few tentacles with her lightsaber.
"Jaina, no!" Caedus screamed, yet it was too late. If the beast was hungry before, now it was also aggravated and in pain. That didn't stop Caedus from trying. "Let me try." He said and took in a deep breath, then fixed his brown eyes on the big monster which groaned even louder; causing earthquakes under their feet.
Speaking to animals was different from speaking to humans. It wasn't the language they needed. But feelings. Emotions. Caedus tried his best to send comforting feelings toward the beast. And it calmed the beast down a little. The big creature shuddered and behaved with less aggression. But it didn't really change the fact it was still hungry and wanted to eat the twins.
"He's hungry and we look delicious to him." Caedus finally broke his own silence. But he still kept the monster still ahead. Deactivating his lightsaber, the Sith Lord clipped it back to his belt. He wasn't planning to fight this big boy.
