Galena Aslot is in fit for a woman of her age and size. She has a pale complexion, but is quite beautiful and doesn't require the use of make up to be as such. Her brown hair is generally kept shoulder length, though she has been know to grow it longer or cut it a little shorter then that, and her piercing blue-grey eyes tend to look always examining or calculating.
Her clothing choice varies from modest to expensive, though it really depends on the situation. She's not above putting on a nice dress for a night out, and yet she is most comfortable in something simple when alone or at home. Her average garb which most people see her in though consists of something similar to a formal work uniform, and while in the hospitals she works at she dawns lab coats fittingly.
PERSONALITY
She is incredibly brilliant, but yet, surprisingly ignorant about so many things. Galena can't relate to people easily, thinking it best to distance herself from people, relationships and emotions. Besides that though she spends so much time working or studying that she knows little if anything about the outside world and what her local culture takes for granted every day. This relates to everything from Music, Entertainment, people, celebrities, and politics.
Galena is kind hearted though, she just doesn't really know it. She has good intentions behind what she does, but besides facts, she really doesn't know how to show that she cares for people in general. Some people in joking say she relates to the dead better then the living, and in a way this is sadly true. When she was in forensics as a living, (or even know when she does it as consultant) she could read a body and tell you a life story... on the other hand she could spend hours talking to a real living person, and take hardly anything away from it.
She also can be quite prideful, which causes her to take risks in order to prove herself. Though in a way she has earned the right, proving herself countless time and again. It is also this pride that spurned her onto changing careers and working with Gunner Halos now, as a way to prove herself the best in her career path.

History:
Galena was born on Naboo in the capitol city of Theed, the middle child of four other siblings. Her father was a security officer in the royal household, which brought in good pay, while her mother lead a life in the medical career, which also provided a great deal of money for the family. Between five children though they needed every credit they could pull together from their work. With this money though, it wasn't hard for them to put each and every child in the best schools in the city of Theed, which being a Naboo city already had a high educational standard.
Growing up, Galena was very much the tom-boy, preferring camping trips as her recreational activities over almost anything else. Her friends were the animals, not people, and at an early age she showed an affinity toward classifying said wildlife. She was also fascinated by any number of illnesses she would find herself or her family prey to. Something that many found a little disturbing while she was growing up. Galena was best known for her iron stomach, as neither smell, nor sight ever seemed to upset her. In fact she would be more then happy to bring up certain topics while eating that probably never should have been discussed at a Diner table.
It was things like this lat lead her to the life of a medical career herself, along with following in the footsteps of her mother. Through high-school she took nearly any science classes she could get her hands on, including Health skills and first aid. She excelled at these classes, never bringing a score less then 80%, and usually averaging above the top 98% of her class.
And she soon found that the skill was a practical one!
During a hiking trip with her older sister, her sister slipped off the edge of a cliff and broke her leg on a jagged rock. Galena, with her first aid training was able to mend the leg with a splint, and find an herbal remedy that temporarily helped with the pain. They managed to get home, though way later then expected before her sister was taken to the emergency room. Galena from this moment on felt that she knew her life would revolve around medicine, and a career with it.
The final push she needed came when she found a missing person on yet another of her out of the way camping trips. The missing person however, wasn't living. Her family members on the camping trip with her almost all lost their lunch at the decomposed body they had stumbled upon, but Galena with her Iron Stomach once more was totally unphased by it. Before any medical personnel at all arrived on the scene, Galena had matched the body to the description, an impressive feat as it was soon found that she had been correct. This was as far as her expertise allowed her to go legally, though. Her stubborn streak pushed her to continue investigating it on her own, but this soon got her in trouble both with her parents and the authorities.
She felt as if she needed to prove herself and spite them all, which caused her to fully pursue the career she had in mind. She excelled at many types of medicine, but forensics seemed to be one of her favorites, perhaps because she didn't have to relate to other people. Having odd hobbies and being known as a bookworm didn't get her many friends, and it got her picked on more then anything else. Never having related to many people outside her family unit, she had no desire or urge to do so now. She moved from Naboo to Coruscant to attend a four year college education where she was eventually able to get out and go right to work in forensics for the police. She saw plenty of action this way, and teamed up with many different police and detectives in order to help them when it was needed.
In recent months though a new and intriguing job opened up with Diagnostic Medicine, which she was unable to shift to with her current employment despite being interested in the new job opportunity. Almost on a sudden whim she changed careers, accepting extra training to join the field of Pathology, though she is still on call as a forensic consultant thanks to her expertise in the skill, giving her a comfortably steady income as she prepares herself to work under Gunner Halos.
