Overall Appearance:

Jacen is a young looking man even at age thirty. He has a boyish charm. Regardless to say, he is a handsome man, who can draw second glances from many ladies. He takes care of himself very well, always makes sure to look in his best. Knowing being successful starts with a good health, he is extra careful about what he eats and where he lives. Though, his life forces him to live in dangerous places, but that doesn't mean he is not able to make himself comfortable.

He is athletic, always in top physical condition. He is very strong and confident in his skills. He is lean and tall, but nicely toned.

His brown hair is usually a tad longer to reach his cheekbones and his chin at times. His natural brown eyes did not change to a permanent yellow as most Sith Lords. Instead they remained brown. But in his moments of anger and rage, they tend to turn into a citrine yellow. Then it means it's time for others to panic.

Jacen used to wear comfortable cloths and even flight uniforms during his Jedi days. But since he turned to the dark side, his colour of choice became black. He still chooses neat cloths, always looking in his best. And he wears long black cloak over it. But that doesn't mean he is stuck with a black cloak. There are times he will switch into other cloths, depending on the situation.

It's safe to say Jacen usually looks calm and friendly, even when he is a Sith Lord. Since he is always so calculated and busy coming up with every little possibility of any situation, he can seem thoughtful. He doesn't lose his temper easily, mostly in perfect control. So he looks as he desires to others' eyes.

PERSONALITY



Jacen used to be the sweet guy with the heroic nature. He was peaceful and even made friends with animals. Having a grasp of the nature, he had a positive flow around. He was the most reliable person one could ever run into. His understanding of animals made him a bit awkward for humans and other species. He tried to get over this side of him with making jokes. Though, his jokes were not even close to funny. He was aware of that. But soon these jokes became a habit of his. Especially in difficult times, he found himself making these bad jokes. It was mostly a self-defence technique.

He deeply cared for his family. He was able to contact his family (mother and siblings) through the Force. His additional twin link with Jaina brought them even closer. Twins spent their childhood sharing their emotions and experiences. He never let them down. Jacen was the perfect example of a good son and brother.

He had a noble heart. He would give his life for the greater good. He was trained to be the guardian of peace. No one even needed to ask him to join the war in the upcoming years. Jacen was already willing to join the fight, so he could protect innocents.

But sadly, everything good has an end. And it ended for Jacen as well. His turn to dark side changed Jacen a great deal. Or rather, it was the changes in his personality those leaded him to the dark side. A chain reaction it was. And Jacen changed so much. He became almost a new person. He drifted away from his family, even his twin sister. Then he started to separate his personas, like Jacen was a different being and he was gone.

But some things did not change. It was his calm and calculated nature. He was always -or just mostly- in control of his emotions. He did not move with his feelings. But there was the certain dose of rage running through his veins as a Sith Lord. And this opened him new doors in the Force. He knew he was becoming too powerful. And he knew his potential. He knew his limits. He still calculated every possibility before him, going on for the tiniest details. He took his time with planning and plotting like he always did before.

Yet the changes in him were major. He was ruthless now. Sacrificing innocents was not a bother, when he looked into the bigger picture. He was even fine with executing a subordinate before his crew to teach them a lesson. Perhaps, he was a hero before. But Jacen was becoming a tyrant now. His family believed Jacen was following the footsteps of his grandfather. But in truth, it was even worse. He was becoming more like Palpatine. He believed he could decide what was good or bad for others. While he didn't like people disagreeing with him, he still kept a few opposing crew around him. But that didn't mean he was already plotting to replace them in the first chance.

Jacen's most often used excuse was "I did what I had to.". Others might not believe in that kind of reasoning. And perhaps, he doesn't really believe in it himself. But he will bring it in every dire situation to make himself look right and others wrong. It's childish in every angle, but once again this is not the first time happening in their bloodline. It's safe to say Jacen really follows the footsteps of his grandfather. Yet they are not very similar situations and get separated by many points.

As much as he claims he does not care for his family anymore and they are no longer his family, that is not true. Once again, it's only something he wants to fool himself with. He gets extremely sad, whenever he can't feel Jaina through the Force. A remarkable mention would be his ship -which he is attached to deeply- being named the Anakin Solo. He may never admit it aloud, but he misses Tenel Ka and feels bad about his daughter who was lost to him. He will not go after them. But that doesn't make him all too cold. He thinks of them every single day.

His deep thinking habit brought major paranoia to Jacen. He believes everyone is after him, which would not be a wrong thing to think of. But this paranoia makes him restless and he will always be plotting for his next hundred moves.

History:

Jacen's link to the Force started, when he was in his mother's womb. His mother Leia was able to contact to the infant Jacen by their link to the Force and it was returned. As a baby, he was capable of expressing the basic raw emotions. The same link was with his twin sister, but even more powerful with their twin bond. After the twins' birth, Jacen was able to expand his Force link. He could communicate with insects and animals, make friends with them.

In their early years the Solo twins were targets of many kidnapping attempts, so they spent a lot of time in hiding. Because of the political duties of their mother, Winter and C-3PO looked after Jacen and his sister. Like his mother Jacen Solo was Force-sensitive but in the beginning utilization of the Force was only allowed to him under the supervision of his uncle Luke Skywalker. Nevertheless Jacen and Jaina used their abilities on several occasions. For example when they saved their uncle from the spirit of an evil Sith Lord named Exar Kun, who threatened to overpower the Jedi.

When he was fourteen Jacen started his training as jedi in Skywalker's Praxeum on Yavin 4. During this time Jacen enjoyed outdoors and was very interrested in wildlife. The twins made friends with Chewbacca's nephew Lowbacca and a girl named Tenel Ka Djo. Together the group of jedi trainees played a major role in the defeat of the Shadow Academy, the destruction of the Second Imperium, the collapse of the Diversity Alliance and the annihilation of a hidden spice cache in Crystal Reef. During his training and his developement of his relationship with Tenel Ka (who would later go on to be the mother of his child and Queen Mother of the Hapans) he accidentally managed to cut off Tenel Ka's forearm. A tragic accident which haunted him with guilt throughout his life. After his time on the Jedi Academy Jacen became his uncle's apprentice and developed a more spiritual view of the Jedi's role in the universe.

When a warlike species from another galaxy tried to overpower the reformed New Republic by using their advanced biotechnology and their strategic skills Jacen fought along the other Jedi to end the war. He flew in the Battle of Dubrillion, saved the beautiful Danni Quee from a ice prison, participated in the defense of Ithor, defeated the Warmaster Tsavong Lah and survived captivity. During the four years of war Jacen lost many friends and relatives like Chewbacca and his younger brother Anakin the loss of the latter in particular was very traumatic for him as he believed he should have saved him, and was later exploited by Vergere, but in the end he was the one, ending the war by developing his Vongsense, discovering the living planet Zonama Sekot and killing Omini, the leader of the Yuuzhan Vong.

After the war Jacen set out to travel the universe to learn from other Force-using groups. He studied many Force-traditions and learned a wide range of abilities during this five-year journey.

After his return Jacen played a significant role in the Dark Nest Crisis and the following war against the Chiss and the Killiks. Around the same time he caught up with his old friend Tenel Ka Djo, who had ascended to the Hapan throne and the two finally gave in to their feelings for each other. Jacen took his cousin Ben Skywalker under his wing and even allowed him to live with him, but kept his relationship with Tenel Ka and the existence of their newborn, Allana a secret.

While seeking out more information about an unusual object, Jacen came across Lumiya, the Dark Lady of the Sith and Jacen agreed to become a Sith to bring peace to the universe and prevent a dark future from happening. This promise led him to the Dark Side and he tried to gain more and more power to built a different world. He even killed his aunt Mara Jade Skywalker and almost took Ben Skywalker to the dark side of the force in his steps to become a Dark Lord of the Sith. During this period of training he travelled to Zion where he located a many sith artefacts, most notably the Sith spaceship which responded to his thoughts. Calling himself Darth Caedus, he manipulated fellow Jedi Tahiri Vaila as his new Sith apprentice by allowing her to see glimpses of his brother Anakin who was her love, yet died in the Yuuzhan Vong war. He was popular throughout the majority of the galaxy at first due to the loyalty he inspired, and the protection and peace he stood for. This image was dispelled following harsh acts upon Corellia which severed his familial ties with his parents and sister and causing a dramatic decrease in popularity and leading many planets to question the New Republic and nearly start a second rebellion.

In the end he was lightsaber dueling with his twin sister on a Star Destroyer. But before their battle could end, there was a major disturbance in the Force. The twins were forcefully pushed back in the time and space, finding themselves surrounded by many questions in this weird timeline.

Lightsaber Description:

Jacen has two lightsabers. Just like most Sith Lords, he stopped using his original one. But he still keeps it as a sentimental memory.

- The Jedi Saber: It has a silver hilt, which reminds a bit of Luke's lightsaber. The energy crystal gives it a green glow. It's ergonomic. Easy to grip and light enough to perform quick combos. It is pretty much a standard lightsaber.

- The Sith Saber: Once again it has a silver hilt, easy for his two-handed grip. The energy crystal is blood red, preferred by most Sith Lords. Once again, it is a standard looking lightsaber. And he carries only one of this instead of two.
