Luke listened to her as she explained that because of his explanation, the Council was a bit surprised on how much she knew and informed her on the parts that she did not know. She also mentioned that they were eager to have her which really didn't surprise the Jedi Knight considering how her connection to the Force was powerful before mentioning that she needed to replace her lightsaber and that there were some crystal caves near by that have not been discovered yet. This of course peeked the young Skywalker's interest since he has yet to see a natural forming lightsaber cyrstal since all of the sites have been destroyed and there was tight regulation on the exchange of such crystals in the market. "At least you have a source on such lightsaber crystals. In my time, the sources for these crystals were destroyed by the Empire and it was almost impossible to get one in the market, which is why I had to build a synthetic crystal. From what I've read, the natural forming ones produce the best lightsaber blades, so do you mind telling me what makes them superior to synthetic crystals?" asked Luke wanting to know as much as he could.
Satele would then ask Luke if he could come with her to the crystal caves since there were Kenraths, and Kath Hounds in the region and while she was strong enough in the Force to defend herself, a lightsaber blade would make things a lot easier. "I'll come with you and I might just take a few crystals myself for a backup blade in case I some how manage to lose this one" said Luke with a light friendly smile on his face. The young Jedi figured that this backup blade should be his first attempt at making a fully adjustable blade which he didn't make the first time since it was the first time he was making a lightsaber and the weapon itself could explode and kill him if it was built incorrectly. Because of the fact that there are Jedi here that could watch over him and offer advice as he built the blade, Luke felt that it was the perfect opportunity to build such a lightsaber.
"So when do you want to head out?" asked Luke figuring that it would be tomorrow since she had just got here.

It seemed with the change in conversation topic, Luke was willing to go into detail about the Crystals from his timeline, explaining that all of the locations seemed to have been quarantined by the Empire in question. Satele was amazed all the same to find that all of this could have happened, surely some of the locations must have gone unscathed... no one had the power to hunt down and keep each and every one closed off. She wasn't sure how she should handle being told about the future, but it was information that perhaps would be useful...
She didn't dwell on it for long though, deciding it was better to keep her mind and thoughts on the here and now, rather then letting her thoughts wander to the future. She would be mindful of it all the same though if at all possible, but for not she needed to worry about other more immediate things, such as her lightsaber crystal, and weather or not it would be possible to get back to her own timeline eventually. As it was, Luke had left her with a question in regards to the natural crystals, asking why they were so superior to synthetic ones. "Nature has always had a way of making things better then we can by synthetic means." She began after a second, beginning to walk with him again as she continued to answer his question. "The Force is more naturally and fully imbued into these natural crystals then in the synthetic ones... allowing for a more full bond with it's user." She finished with a small nod before she looked over to him again at his question about when she wanted to go out.
Satele arched her brow a little at the question, shrugging after a moment. "I don't see a point in waiting... I won't be able to use the saber right away either, a day at the most." She explained, looking over to him, confused for a moment. "Would you rather not go right away?" She asked with a tilt of her head.

Luke took in Satele's lecture of how nature has always had a way of making things better than synthetic means and that these crystals are naturally imbued with the Force allowing one to create a fuller bond with the crystal. Luke thought back on his experience in creating his synthetic lightsaber and recalled imbuing the crystal with his Force energies and personality making it unique in every way. He would then start to think about the bond he has his lightsaber and felt as if it was a part of him, even though it was created through synthetic means. "As someone who uses a synthetic lightsaber crystal, I'll have to disagree with you on having a fuller bond with my weapon. I feel as though my lightsaber is part of me, especially the lightsaber crystal which not only has my Force energies poured into it but also my very essence" said Luke who got the feeling that there was more to it than a fuller bond with the weapon.
After asking when she wanted to head out, the older Jedi told him that she saw no point in waiting before asking him if he would rather not go right away. "Well if you're ready, I'm ready. I just figured that you would want to take the time to adjust to this situation before going out" explained the young Skywalker.

She had to sigh, considering his counter argument for a moment as she thought about what he had to say, defending his own saber. He had mentioned that there was no natural crystals widely available where he came from, so she was willing to believe he just didn't have a natural bond with one yet; and therefore wouldn't quite be able to understand the difference between the two. For her it was hard to explain, and perhaps there was more to it then she understood as well. After all she came from a time parallel to him, where crystals were in abundance. It was just as possible then she didn't understand his own comments, but neither of them were at fault for having two different opinions.
Before the discussion could continue though the topic of leaving the Enclave in favor of the Jedi Crystals in question was brought up again, And Luke was agreeing to go with her. Even if he didn't want to come, she probably wouldn't have been stopped from going on her own right now anyway, just needing to make a detour to arm herself before heading out. With him coming though she decided that wouldn't be necessary. She did acknowledge his concern though, only shaking her head a little as she began walking down the halls, trusting he would be at her side or rear since he had agreed to come along. "No need to delay it... " She commented again with a small shrug, looking over her shoulders to him. "... Especially if they are waiting on me." Satele added.
Now that they were moving again though, she figured it was alright to return the conversation to that of the crystals. "I suppose it's possible that there is another reason behind the reason natural crystals are superior to artificial..." She admitted with a shrug, showing she might not have the knowledge to further answer the question for him. "Likewise, i suppose it is possible some artificial ones could be stronger then the natural... The only thing i might be able to add is that the Natural crystals are closer to living things then artificial crystals." She explained, giving him the last bits of solid information she had on the topic, glancing back at him to see if that helped her reasoning at all, and if he might agree more now.

"Hopefully the council will at least point us in the right direction in returning to our own time periods. The Jedi in my era need to rebuild from scratch and on top of a lack of knowledge, the Jedi are very scarce" said Luke after Satele made the comment about the council waiting on her. The young Jedi neglected to tell the council that he was the last Jedi thinking that they wouldn't let him leave fearing that the future of the Jedi Order would die with him. However, Luke was sure that the spirits of Ben and Yoda would teach his sister the ways of the Force if anything were to happen to him. And he was confident that she might even make a better Jedi than him. After all,, if Leia was training under Yoda instead of him, she wouldn't have risked the future of the galaxy by going Cloud City to rescue his friends.
The two would begin to walk with Satele continuing the conversation about lightsaber crystal suggesting that there might be another reason why natural forming lightsaber crystals are superior to synthetic lightsaber crystals and that it might be possibly for a synthetic crystal to be superior to a natural one. What stood out to Luke was the fact that she mentioned that the natural forming crystals are closer to living things and gave him a possible reason why natural forming crystals are better. "Since the natural crystals are closer to living things, maybe a Jedi creates a bond with the Force as he bonds with the crystal through meditation. After all, all living things are connected to the Force" suggested Luke as he continued to follow her pace.
"So Satele, did you start your Jedi training early in life or started it late like me?" asked Luke wanting to know more about her.

It wasn't long before Luke was speaking, expending on her comment that continued the conversation about the Crystals. She looked back to him over her shoulder, nodding lightly in agreement with him. "Yes, that is along my thoughts." She agreed, though she paused a moment, remembering the possible rumors of Sith Crystals that were stronger then those of a Jedi Crystal. She personally had fought many Sith, including one of the most powerful in history; Darth Malgus, and this had never happened to her... so she believed it was nothing more then a simple rumor, and nothing that needed to be brought to the attention of Luke; especially sense his understanding of the Force already seemed limited and confused... throwing in something that might not even be true probably wouldn't help.
By this time they had made it outside the Enclave and were walking west towards the area she knew the cave was located. In her time, she had never actually been to the cave, but she knew of it's existence. Following her knowledge of the cave's location and using the force to guide her instincts was enough for her to trust that she was going in the right direction.
As the sunlight hit her skin, peeking out from behind the clouds Satele began to feel warm under the cool air of the planet, and it really was a refreshing feeling. Under other circumstances she probably would have stopped and taken a moment to meditate and enjoy the situation, but for the time being she was on the move... though it was difficult to think of a time she might not be moving about so much. Maybe that would change in this new timeline, but she really was sort of hoping it wouldn't. She probably didn't remember how to relax properly outside of work for the Republic and Jedi order.
Her thoughts were interrupted by Luke then as he asked his next question, concerning her and her training when he asked if she had been a Jedi from an early age like most, or was more like himself and was new to the ways of the force. Satele looked to him, not really having to think about it as she shook her head a little. "No, i've been a Jedi most of my life... though i admit my training wasn't exactly Orthodox. I was moved from master to master, and station to station... but i trained under some of the best." She explained, looking to him to see how well she explained the question to him. She didn't want to be rude, but she also felt it might not be wise to inquire about the future for herself, which limited what they could talk about and what questions she could ask.
"Where are you from?" She asked with a small tilt of her head and a shrug, though continued walking down the plains, keeping her eyes peeled for the beasts that roamed the groves.

The young Skywalker continued to follow her once they left the Enclave with the sunlight piercing through the clouds and a refreshing wind blowing again his skin. Luke always liked temperate planets like this since they weren't too hot like his home world or too cold like the ice planet, Hoth. Instead they manage to find a perfect balance that the you Jedi Knight quite enjoyed. After asking his question about when she started her training, she told him that she has been trained a Jedi for most of her life, though her training was unorthodox since she trained under various master. She did point out however that she was trained by the best. "I was lucky enough that my two teacher were some of the best in their day. My first teacher, Ben was a veteran from the Clone Wars and the one who set me on the path to become a Jedi after telling me that my father was one. My second teacher was a Jedi Master who was over 900 years old. I learned a lot from him under my short period of time under him and foolishly ended up leaving him to rescue my friends who were captured by a Sith Lord and tortured in order to draw me out and capture me" explained Luke before taking a brief pause.
"Unfortunately, I ended up losing my hand and my father's lightsaber on that day, and learned something about my father that I probably wasn't ready for. As for my friends, they were able to escape without my help save for one and they ended up rescuing me" said Luke as he raised his prosthetic hand covered in synth flesh. The hand was a constant reminder as to why one shouldn't be so rash and impatient. More it importantly, it served as a warning as to what will happen to him if he were to ever go down the dark path, the fate of his father. Satele would then ask Luke where he came from as the two began to watch out for beasts that could attack them.
"I was raised by my aunt and uncle on a farm on Tatooine. Where are you from?" asked Luke.

Their steps didn't slow up at all as they continued to move through the fields, still talking about their different timelines. After answering his question, Luke went on and explained his own training in part to her, and it seemed from what he said that he really did only have a short time of training. Yet he was powerful enough to have defeated that Jedi she had seen him dueling on her approach. It really was impressive to see how much he must have progressed in such a short time.
He also added that he had lost his hand and his father's lightsaber in the process, both of which had been slightly surprising to her. It seemed more and more that relationships in the Jedi Order were again being phased out, but it was interesting to think they were still around in the future. Or at least that was how she was lead to understand it. Either way she didn't mention that as her surprise was on something else now as she turned a little in her steps, watching as he had pulled his hand up to eye level. It looked perfectly fine to her. Had it been reattached? Surely it wasn't a mechanical replacement... it looked too... real.
She found herself looking at his other hand just to be sure it wasn't the other, but that too was just as normal as the other. "I never would have guessed you were missing a hand... did you find it and have it reattached?" She asked, looking to it... that being the only way she could rationalize that it looked so real.
She found herself shaking her head though and returning to the topic at hand, answering the question about where she was born. "Sorry, i was born on Brentaal 4." She answered after a moment with a small nod back to him, having been sure to take note that he had been from Tatooine.

Luke could tell from the expression on Satele's face that she was quite surprised that he had in fact lost his hand which was confirmed when she asked if his hand was reattached. He could understand why she thought that his hand was reattached since they didn't have the technology in this time line to make a prosthetic as life like as his which was now common practice. After all, the Clone Wars created hostilities towards droids, cyborgs and those with prosthetic like himself and led to discrimination. Luke simply just shook his head before saying "I lost my hand along with my father's lightsaber after it was cut off and fell down an air shaft in Cloud City. I had it replaced with a prosthetic hand covered in syntheflesh which makes it look as if I had never lost the hand at all. Unfortunately, it still needs maintenance from time to time and through the Force it feels as if a piece of me is missing"
After giving his little explanation, the older Jedi told Luke that she was from Brentaal 4 without making any mentions of family members like Luke did. The young Skywalker didn't know much about the planet aside from the fact that it's a core world that it was in the same system as Mon Mothma's home world. "What's Brentaal 4 like? Did you still have family there after you left to become a Jedi?" asked Luke hoping to get some insight into Satele's personal life. The young Jedi wouldn't be surprised to learn that she had no memory of her family since the Jedi of this era frowned on marriage and even love. Something that Luke would never do when he decided to rebuild the Jedi Order in his era. After all, it was the love that a father had for his son that saved the galaxy and the practice seemed kind of heartless and detached in Luke's eyes

Satele listened for a moment as Luke explained everything to her, explaining to her that the technology from his future allowed for better prosthetic hands like the one he had been showing to her. She nodded and listened to him as he retold the story lightly, continuing to walk with him though before eventually he was changing the subject again to speak about her and her back story. She sighed a bit, having to give a slightly more thoughtful look now.
"Well it was Arid and warm." She began explaining from memory, with a small shrug. "It was surprisingly temperate, but always very busy. Two major hyperspace lanes come through there and meet, so people are always traveling and trading." She continued with a small nod. She hadn't spent that much time on the planet, but her memory was good enough that she could give him this much information, both remembering from textbooks and visits, and her own personal recollection from her childhood there.
At the question of her family, she again nodded. "My mother was formerly a Jedi Knight." Satele explained, having some memory of her. "Otherwise though, no, i really don't recall any close family." She explained, looking back to him to see if that answered enough of the question for him.
By this time they were growing nearer to the location of the Crystal cave, and she continued to lead the way, hoping it was soon going to be within eyesight. Ahead of them was a Kath hound herd though, that lay directly in their path. She had to sigh a bit, stepping off the path while she looked for a possible way around.

Luke listened and nodded as she explained to him what her home world was like which she described as arid, warm and surprisingly temperate. She would then tell him that her mother was formerly Jedi Knight which of course raised the question as to why she left in Skywalker's mind. Only two reasons entered his mind as to why she left which was leaving to start a family or she fell to the darkside like his father. He hoped the later of the two wasn't the reason since he knew first hand how difficult it was discovering that one of your parents is evil as well as fighting them. When the got closer to the crystal cave, Luke spotted a heard of kath hound and turned to Satele after hearing her sigh before following her onto a new path. "I never knew who my mother was since my sister and I were separated from birth in order to hide us from the emperor since he recognized that any offspring of my father would pose a threat to him and his rule. According to my sister, she died when we were really young" explained Luke as he continued to follow her down the new path. "I hope that this isn't too personal, but why did your mother leave the Jedi Order?" asked Luke hoping that it wasn't too personal of a question. Especially if it turned out that she turned to the darkside and was forced to confront her.
ooc:sorry for the short post.

They continued walking together, Luke having gone completely silent as Satele was left to explain the world she came from before she was turning back to him after a while; him taking a turn as they moved onto the different path to explain a little about how he didn't know his own mother. It took her a second to think about, but she realized where he was going with this, and asked then about Satele's mother. She smirked a little, shaking her head lightly as she continued walking, making sure that the Kath Hounds weren't attracted to them.
"No it's fine..." She commented with a small sigh. "She left the order because of me... she got pregnant, pursued a relationship... had me... turned me into the order when i was old enough.." She explained with a shrug, looking back to him for a second wondering what exactly it was Luke had been expecting. She didn't say anything else for a moment, just continuing over the ridge for a moment before they hit the edge of a small cliff and she could point to a cave opening.
"It's down there..." She pointed out before inching closer to the edge of the cliff and dropping off the side of it, landing surely on her feet as she hit the ground below. She glanced upwards though, squinting against the sunlight to make sure Luke didn't land on top of her before she stepped out of the way and continued walking surely to the cave entrance, keeping her eyes peeled for the Kath Hounds around them.
Once inside the cave she was no longer worried about the hounds, however as she looked around she knew there was more to worry about as she noticed other things besides the crystals through the force. The Kenrath... "Now might be a good time for that lightsaber..." She commented over her shoulder to him.

"Did she leave the order voluntarily or did the Jedi Council of the time force her to do so?" asked Luke figuring that she was forced out of the order due to having a romantic relationship. After all, the Jedi Order of this time period saw love as being dangerous claiming that it leads to the darkside and her mother would have come back after giving birth to him. The two would then head to the ledge of a small cliff and she pointed down telling him that the cave was down there. He watched as she jumped into the cave and looked down to see where she landed so that he won't land on her. As she looked up at him, he jumped down using the Force to cushion his fall. After landed, he saw crystals all around them full of Force energy of their own, energy that they have absorbed from the many Jedi who made their way here for their lightsaber crystals. The young Jedi found the site breath taking through the Force since these crystals were far from ordinary compared to the average run of the mill crystal and began to see why the Jedi preferred these over synthetic ones.
He would then noticed the kinrath who were starting to take notice of them and noticed that there were many of them as it was their nest. Three of the bigger ones would make their way towards the two and Luke could sense that they saw the two as a threat. Following Satele's advice,he activated the lightsaber that was already in his hand and a green blade sprung to life. He would let the three gain ground and the three grouped together as they got closer allowing for Luke to cut the three in half with a single wide slash that was so fast that the three couldn't react to his movements. The creatures screamed as they fell to the ground alerting the other kinrath with some of them running away while others began to move towards the two wanting to eliminate the threat to their nest.
"Stay close to me" said Luke as he moved towards a kinrath and cut the creature in two with a single strike.

No sooner then she made her suggestion concerning Luke using his lightsaber to dispatch of the Kenrath, she was stepping aside to allow him to do just that. Tactfully Luke stood back and allowed the Kenrath to grow close, and just before they were in range to attack he was able to make a wide sweeping attack that took all three of the insectoid creatures down; having cut them all down with one even stroke. She nodded lightly and only moved when they continued further into the cave, deciding it was best to just let him deal with the creatures.
Satele was more then capable of taking care of herself of course, but there was little use in her using her Telekinesis abilities on the Kenrath. If she did that she would be more then likely to just bring the whole cave down on them then just the select Kenrath she wanted to do away with. She did have control over herself and her powerful abilities, but in such a confined place it would be hard even for her to bring enough power on the Kenrath to harm them (in her and Luke's own defense) without actually doing damage to the cave too.
In the end it was just far safer and simpler to let Luke handle them with the weapon that he had and that she was here to replace. When eventually they had managed to work their way through all of the Kenrath in the nest, they were able to enter into the main Crystal room where the Eggs had been laid and a few larger Kenrath resided in order to protect what was here.

As the two headed to the main crystal room, Luke continued to hack and slash his way through the creatures that were agitaged that their home was being invaded. As he did this, the young knight took note of their long limbs that have almost hit him on a number of occasions and slices them off whenever they were about to thrust them towards him and Satele. A apart of him felt bad that they were killing the kinrath just to get lightsaber crystals and couldn't help but wonder if it would have been better to have Satele build a synthetic crystal. When they got to the main crystal room, the two Jedi encountered three kinrath who were obviously the guards of this place. While there were a lot of crystals in this chamber, Luke noticed that there were also a lot of eggs indicating that this was the heart of their nest. Tired of all the killing, Luke decided to take another approach and deactivated his lightsaber before clipping it to his belt. The three kinrath would then make their way towards their direction and Luke slowly raised his hand using the Force to lift all three of the creatures five feet into the air.
Obviously terrified, the creatures flailed their limbs in the air having absolutely no idea what to do. Releasing his grip over them, the kinrath dropped to the ground with a loud thud and got up. After getting up, they fled into the tunnels behind them not wanting die by the hands of the Jedi Knight and Luke turned to face Satele to see if she was okay. "Did any of them hit you on the way here?" asked Luke as his eyes examined Satele to make sure that she wasn't harmed during the journey. Since Luke knew little of the creatures they encountered, he wasn't sure if they were poisonous, he figured that he should take some kind of caution.
