Overall Appearance: Solhi would have been considered tall in her family but is average height when compared to other human females. Dressed normally there isn't anything that stands out about her as far as appearance is concerned. Like her mother's side of the family, she keeps her black hair cut long. She has thin dark brown eyes that could be mistaken as being black sometimes. Her build is a little on the stalk-y size and she is sturdier than she might initially seem which has come in handy when it comes to defending herself. However, if by chance you could see her back and legs, there would be a number of scars and other marks from old injuries. There are scars all up and down her back, shoulders, legs, and even a few on her abdomen and chest. She works hard to keep these covered up since they are a point of shame. To hide them she always wears long pants or skirts and shirts with sleeves on them. Being a smuggler her clothes can't be too flashy or attention grabbing. However, she frequently wears skirts because it allows for her to hide things along her leg while at the same time appearing to be nonthreatening.
PERSONALITY
To strangers Solhi is very unapproachable. Due to the significant trauma she endured, Solhi is highly distrusting of people she does not know, especially men. Because of this distrust she can have an unfriendly demeanor to many people. However she can turn this off when she needs to for the purposes of a job. Her distrust has been beneficial as it has not allowed for people to trick her. There are of course exceptions to this rule. Most notably the two other people she travels with: Cal and Zett. Another exception are people who have been in similar situations to the one she has been in. Those who manage to gain her trust become the most important people in her life. Solhi is fiercely protective of the people she cares about and will do anything to keep them safe. In addition to loved ones she has this same passion for people who have been enslaved. Solhi is staunchly against slavery and even goes out of her way to rescue and prevent slaves from making it onto the market. While this is dangerous work, she does it gladly.
Before the time she was a slave, Solhi was a lively, fun loving girl. All that went away during her two years of captivity. It was only because of spending so much time with Zett that she was able to recover and slowly regain her sense of humor again. Currently, with those she is closest to, Solhi will open up and be playful and even sarcastic. She loves to make banter with Cal and Zett. Solhi loves food and often a quick way to her good side is through her stomach, something that her friends often take advantage of. While she is protective of the two boys she can also be nurturing when she needs to be and often takes up the motherly role. Similarly she takes on this soft side when dealing with rescued slaves.
Even though Solhi has made great strides in recovering from her ordeal she still has a ways to go. To this day she is distrustful of not only men but also Force users. She tends to be a bit of an insomniac as she still suffers from nightmares that do not allow for her to sleep well at night. In order to make herself feel stronger, Solhi has promised herself to never let something like that happen to herself of her loved ones. Independence and feeling strong is something that is very important to her. Her greatest goal in life is to find the man who tortured her and held her captive for two years and kill him.
BACKGROUND

History: Rhel Hanan and Sunja Reu were a young couple when they decided to join a number of other humans on the planet Bakura. There they took up farming and lived off of the land. This way of life made both Rhel and Sunja feel independent and they grew closer. Though both humans were from different cultures, their marriage flourished and not long after building their home on Bakura they welcomed their first child into the world, a daughter named Minsol. Two years after Minsol's birth they welcomed their second child, Solhi. The family lived many years happy and in relative solitude. Solhi and Minsol mostly spent time with one another since all the other farming families were spread so far out. However the girls did tentatively became friends with the sons of their closet neighbors. As they grew older the two often fought over which one of them would marry which of the sons.
When Solhi was seventeen and Minsol was nineteen they both began to court the boys they had grown up around. Solhi was nearing the age at which she would need to start considering her adult life. Life on Bakura was slow and simple which was something that Solhi wanted. She loved her boyfriend and her family and wanted to set down roots on the planet. Her desires for her life began to form into a coherent plan. She could see her life spread out before her; she would marry, have a family, and take care of the farm. Everything seemed to be falling into place when Solhi's life changed forever. One night shortly after her eighteenth birthday there was a knock at the door of their small farmhouse. Her father answered the door and was immediately shot dead. Minsol, Sunja, and Solhi were quickly rounded up and held in the living room. While the men waited for their transport to arrive Sunja attempted to attack the slavers with a farm and was accidentally killed in the struggle. The two girls were then taken off planet in order to be sold. It was in transit that Solhi and Minsol learned that their family had been targeted by the men on behalf of a man they did not know. The man in question had requested their mother whom had been killed. The slavers ultimately decided to hand off Solhi to the man and sell Minsol for themselves as they believed Minsol would be worth more.
Solhi was sold to the man, whom was very displeased by the change in plans. The man was a dark Jedi who frequently bought slaves for the express purpose of experimenting on them. Solhi soon learned that the reason her family had been targeted was because of a genetic trait that her mother and herself had. This anomaly was situs inversus, a condition in which all of the major organs are mirrored from their normal position in the body. The dark Jedi was sadistic and greatly enjoyed making Solhi and his other subjects suffer. However, unlike his other subjects, the man became intrigued with the young woman and kept her alive.
Soon Solhi was no longer the subject of experiments but rather the subject of all manors of abuse. The man kept her in nearly complete isolation and used her as his personal slave. The only contact she had with another being for months on end was her abuser. He kept her in line with violence, threats, and severe emotional abuse. Even when he went out on missions Solhi did not dare attempt an escape because of how traumatized she was. Slowly the man began to take her out more often. He even went as far as to take her off world with him when he went to gather new slaves or run other errands. On all these outings he would act kindly to her when in front of others. Privately, though, he would be sure to mix the kindness with cruelty. Over the time she spent with him Solhi could never be sure what was true or untrue. At some point the man told her that Minsol had died, though she never could tell if it was one of his lies or the truth. She slowly began to accept that she would never see her sister again and that life with the dark Jedi was the way her life would be forever.
Once again Solhi's life changed when she was twenty years old. After spending two years in the custody of the man Solhi was a quivering shell of what she had been. So when she was brought with her owner on another trip the idea of escape was not in her mind at all. However, a smuggler by the name of Zett bravely rescued her from the man. Solhi's relief was not immediate. It took months for her to become completely comfortable with Zett. From there the two were able to begin bonding and becoming friends. Soon she joined his smuggling operation. The two had the same hate for slavery which drove both of them to intercept slavers when they could. Along the way they picked up another runaway (at Solhi's insistence). In the three years since her rescue, Solhi had grown stronger and continues to heal from her ordeal.
