"It's fine, Siri." Siri sighed in relief, glad that at least he wasn't going to rub her nose in the fact that he was right. It seemed that Obi-Wan had decided that now was not the time to put her through teasing, which was probably a smart move on his part. Siri smiled lightly at him. But looking at him now she sensed there was something else he wasn't saying. Something that wasn't him resisting the urge to tease her. Her brow furrowed as he began to speak once again. "Besides, your worries aren't very well founded for this timeline." Hist tone drifted off into the air. He looked away and tried to act casual. Obi-Wan truly was a bad actor, at least in front of her.
Siri stared at him, trying to figure out what was not being said. She studied him, her icy blue eyes pouring into his shoulder. Something about what he said was off and Siri could sense that Obi-Wan was intentionally keeping something from her. Something he perhaps thought was funny? In her mind she repated his words over and over again. Why wouldn't she have to be worried? Worried about what exactly? About the Jedi knowing about their feelings? Why not? She mentally stopped. Her knowledge of history was not very strong. The history classes never really interested Siri so she paid only enough attention to do well in the classes but never really committed it to memory. What she did know was that the rules for the Jedi over time changed. What if during this time Jedi were allowed to...
Siri's eyes flashed in anger. She punched Obi-Wan in the arm. "You complete---" she groaned in frustration. How could he let her suffer like that? He knew how much it tormented her and yet he had kept this from her. Yet at the same time it made her feel relief. She didn't need to hide her feelings anymore. Was it possible that she could have both a relationship with Obi-Wan and be a good Jedi? In this time it would see to be the case. Maybe coming to this time wasn't such a bad thing.

He tried not to smirk visibly. He tried hard. In the end though he knew it wasn't really going over that well, though he was doing it more for the reason that it was rare... very rare, that he be able to find something like this and hold it over her. He wasn't all that competitive with her any more, but sometimes he let himself play just a little in instances like this, and knowing something she didn't in order to hold it over her head was amusing, even if he knew he wouldn't be able to keep it quiet for too long.
Other times of course... like what he knew about her death.. were secrets he wouldn't be so pleased to keep from her. But they were secrets he would try much harder, not knowing what effects it would have on them if she was aware of her own demise. Still, the taste of satisfaction from keeping the relationship part under wraps was very short lived as she spoke after a moment, Obi-Wan turning to look at her just int time to feel the sharp pain to his arm. He jumped back a couple of inches with a small bite of pain as he rubbed it instantly in reaction. "Ow." He muttered under his breath before he looked back to her.
He looked to her though, a slightly satisfied smirk on his face that he was quick to hide. "For the record i DID plan on telling you... i just wanted to know how you would react first." He defended himself quickly.

Siri glared at Obi-Wan, angry that he was able to deceive her for so long. What was worse was that he though it was funny! How dare he? Still, something in her was happy at the reveal. Could it be possible that the two of them could be Jedi and be open about their feelings? This was what they had wanted back then, wasn't it? "For the record i DID plan on telling you... i just wanted to know how you would react first." At that Siri's face soured once again. So he wanted to get a reaction out of her? How could she have let herself give him the satisfaction. With a sigh her body slumped a little.
"You must be pretty proud of yourself, huh, dobe?" she eyed him with her icy blue eyes before continuing on. "Ya got the best of me...again." Siri wasn't sure how to ask him about how they should proceed. She had just traveled back nearly four thousand years into the past, surely there was something she needed to do to be accepted into the Jedi order once more. "So...what do we do now? Do I need to speak to the council about my arrival?" As happy as she was about Obi-Wan's news, she couldn't quite bring herself to fixate on that. Not where there was more pressing business at hand.

He ruffled his eyebrows a little, an apologetic look crossing over his features as Siri seemed to hold an amount of self pity over herself for being fooled by him. Obi-Wan shook his head a little, crossing a little closer to her at the look on her face. "I didn't mean like that! I meant i wanted to make sure you could handle it." He commented, feeling she had taken his last comment the wrong way... at least partially. Before he could say or do anything more then that though she asked her next question in regards to what needed to be done next, Obi-Wan pausing to think about the answer.
The man nodded after a moment as he looked to her, withing lightly as he answered. "Yes... after i came through that seemed to be the protocol. You can explain the situation to the council.." He replied though paused a little bit, not sure what to do about their particular situation. The relationship aspect of them would be something that to Obi-Wan's knowledge was unique to them so far... but he had a feeling it wouldn't be something that they would be in deep trouble for.
"I'm open to suggestions as to how we will present our particular situation to them." He commented after a moment with a shrug, folding his arms again as he looked to the Enclave, knowing they should probably get to the root of this meeting sooner rather then later. "How do you want to... carry it out?" He asked, tilting his head a little as he was at least a little, practically stumbling over the concept himself now.

Obi-Wan stepped in closer to her and it did make Siri ease slightly. She liked him being close but at the same time her gut warned her to be vigilant. When they had come from their feelings were forbidden but here they were more acceptable. She tried to ignore her instinctual desire to pull away. It was weird, something deep inside of her wanted him to be near her while the other wished to push him away. With time she was sure she could be more relaxed, more open about him. Slowly she looked up at him, her blue eyes meeting his. He was quick to console her about his little prank and even quicker to answer her question about procedure. But then he added something she hadn't quite expected.
"I'm open to suggestions as to how we will present our particular situation to them." Her eyes got wide and she stared at him. Was he suggesting that they be open with the council? The idea terrified her a little. What if they didn't let her join the order? Then where would she be? More, did he still want her? It had been years since the two of them had talked about this, years since they had decided to ignore their feelings. Obi-Wan was a very honest man but she wondered if the excitement of seeing someone from his own time had awoken feelings. Or perhaps he pitted her. "How do you want to... carry it out?" Siri shrugged slightly as she thought about it. Even now she wasn't sure. "I do not wish to lie to the Council," she informed him matter-o-factly. Honestly, concealing things from the Council was a recipe for disaster. "However, I think an important question is how do you want to proceed? Do not do this because you think I want to. If your feelings have changed..."

He watched her for a moment, his eyes ruffling a little bit in concern as he looked to her still. It seemed the more they talked about this, the more Siri seemed to be growing confused or at the very least worried about how all of this would turn out. Perhaps she was concerned with the order of this time still not accepting her, despite what Obi-Wan had already told her was likely to happen. Perhaps he was taking it just a little to fast then.. something Obi-Wan hadn't actually thought too hard about.
He sighed a little bit, pausing now as he looked to her, listening to what she had to say now. Before she could finish though, Obi-Wan stopped her from finishing her line of thought, sighing but giving her a gentle smile. "you're right... perhaps we need to think about this more rationally." Obi-Wan admitted, but added after only a second. "I... do know that nothing has changed between us." He admitted with a small sigh. He had seen her die in his time... held her in his hands as she did... but that didn't mean that even after all this time and learning to let her go like this, that he didn't care about her still.
"But... i suppose i should help you settle first." He admitted, nodding a little as he looked to her, arching his brow a bit to see is she agreed on where they needed to start. "You should meet with the council to start." He suggested, looking back to the Enclave over her shoulder.
