It had been a little over a couple of months now since Obi-Wan had come through the time slip. He and the rest of the current time's Jedi Order had yet to determine if it would be possible to return him to his proper timeline, or what had caused it for that matter, but one thing was clear and that was that many people from different points in time had all been coming through little by little. The numbers of displaced people continued to grow steadily from only a hand full at first, to the point it was hard to keep track of anyone they noticed like this.
The Jedi had wasted no time Putting Obi-Wan to good use though. They first assigned him with a Padawan by the name of Jack Montari... who to his surprise had been right up his league in training. From their they had sent him on a Mission to the Jedi home-world of Tython, that taking a turn for the worst when the undead began to show up. That had certainly been an experience for everyone... one that he didn't want to repeat any time soon. From then he had been dispatched on his own to Naboo in order to aid in peace talks between the feuding Gungan tribes. That had gone well, though was other wise uneventful.
Today he was staying around the Jedi temple of Dantooine, doing different tasks there when he felt the disturbance in the force. His head began to spin like it did when he came through the time slip, and he felt a vaguely familiar presence coming from it. Both of these told him that something had fallen through a time slip.. someone from his time period perhaps; as it would explain how he recognized the presence. He shook his head though, not thinking about it again as he made his way to the Council chambers, hoping to inform them of the new arrival... something he had done once or twice already, though he had been gone too frequently to actually be used to warn them every time someone new showed up.
Of course when he made it to the council chambers, he found that they were gone else where and no meeting was in session, leaving Obi-Wan with no one to actually give the news to. He sighed, clearing his mind a little for a moment with a sigh before he was leaning down at the tree in the middle of the enclave before he was leaving again, knowing that there must be a ship or something coming in soon...

When Siri opened her eyes she felt dizzy, as if she had passed out or hit her head. Glancing around she tried to make sense of the feeling. All around her were stars and the planet of Dantooine. Her blue eyes squinted at the screen, not sure she was reading the coordinates right. What was she doing this far off route? How had she gotten here? With a groan she rubbed her temples and pushed the disheveled locks of golden hair back behind her ears. Another glance at the scanners told her that she needed to land. There was no way she had enough fuel to get to her original destination. This was particularly frustrating seeing as how Obi-Wan Kenobi, Anakin Skywalker, and Senator Amidala would be expecting her. She cursed quietly and prepared to land on Dantooine. At least there she'd be able to make contact with Obi-Wan and explain that she would be late. The idea of listening to him lecture to her about being on time made Siri contemplate not contacting him at all. Obi-Wan could be annoying sometimes, always trying to lecture those around him. He was often right but still annoying.
Things in space had been strange but landing made things cross over into weird territory. From the air Siri saw what she could have sworn was Obi-Wan's ship. Her brow furrowed. What was he doing here? He hadn't mentioned that he was going to be at the old Jedi Temple. On top of that Siri could sense the presence of many other Force sensitive beings. Were there many Jedi here? Thoroughly confused, she landed her ship near his and made her way towards the temple. Her eyes glanced over everything around her. Something was wrong, but she couldn't figure out what it might be. There didn't seem to be danger anywhere near her. Her hand rested on the hilt of her lightsaber as she made her way towards the temple.
Siri walked into the temple as if she belonged there. No one stopped or questioned her because she gave them no reason to. Yet she eyed the Jedi around her with suspicion. What were so many Jedi doing here? Nothing was making any sense. Why were there so many Jedi here instead of at the temple where they were needed? She didn't have long to ponder on that when something grabbed her attention. She could feel Obi-Wan's presence drawing nearer to her. Siri had always been good at sensing people, better than the average Jedi. She followed her senses towards the only Force signature she recognized.
She spotted him first. He was by a pillar and apparently didn't see her. She rolled her eyes as she made her way towards the other Jedi. Of course he wouldn't notice her! He could be dense like that. He also probably wasn't expecting her to show up here either. Luckily, though, since he was where he wasn't supposed to be chances were she wouldn't hear any of his lecture. "Obi-Wan!" she yelled and ran to his side. "What in the blazes are you even doing here?!? I was supposed to meet you and Anakin on Azure!" Siri glared at him, placing her hands on her hips. She might have gotten out of getting a hard time from him but that didn't mean she couldn't give him one.

By this point the headache had subsided a bit. Unlike when he had come through the time rift, he was more attuned to this new timeline now, and so he could tap into the force as usual as ever he could before. Besides that he wasn't the one who had slipped through the rip in space, which left there to be little reason why he should suffer another headache that lasted well over an hour an a half like the last one. He hadn't seen whoever it was enter the temple though as he was making his way in the exit, though the familiar presence grew closer and stronger as if it was someone he had shared some kind of a bond with. He considered this simply to be someone from his own timeline, and summed it down to the fact he was just growing closer to whoever it was as he walked to the exit of the large doors.
It never once crossed his mind that whoever it was, was someone he cared for so deeply...
Not until he heard the voice over his shoulder. It was young and feminine but very strong. The hair on the back of his neck seemed to stand up on end as he heard the familiar voice, but it didn't register who it was yet. Perhaps subconsciously he knew exactly who it was... but at first he couldn't seem to accept it. Instead he was wondering who it was possible for someone to have walked right past him through the doors without him noticing, but it wasn't all that important as he turned back to see whoever it was... someone who called him by name.
He froze before he could turn all the way around to her, his eyes growing wide and his expression almost faint... he could feel the blood rush away from his face and if not for his already pale complexion he would have been rather white in the face. "Siri?" He whispered only barely above a breath. He blinked a couple of times, swallowing before the next thing she said registered in his head. Azure... the mission she had died on when last he had seen her. He took a breath, composing himself for a moment before he was fully facing her again. "Siri?!" He repeated, this time a little bit more audibly.
Despite the nature of this time slip he had never imagined he would see her here. Something about her death being fixed in his mind and solid... as if no matter how much he wanted it, it could never change. But here she was, and the feeling was more then enough for him to realize it wasn't at all in any way a dream. She was here, back from the dead, and it wasn't one of those Zombies he had faced on Tython.
She had seemed to be caught in the time slip... at least her own version... before her death and on her way to the mission. "Yes... Azure..." He muttered to himself as if it had been years ago... which ironically for him it had been..

Siri was not really prepared for Obi-Wan's reaction. As confused and shocked as she was to even be on Dantooine was nothing compared to the look of shock on his face. She didn't need the Force to know how he was feeling, it was obvious to anyone who could see. It took her aback a little. Something was wrong, very wrong and she had no idea what that thing was which was rather frustrating. Still her face stayed rather stoic as she stared at Obi-Wan. She couldn't show any more concern for him than was strictly appropriate for friends-- that and Siri didn't like being overly expressive in public. She stepped in closer to him as he whispered her name and stared at her as if he had seen a ghost.
"Yeah...who else would it be, dobe?" she asked. Siri paused and looked him over. He hadn't answered her question, which was rather irritating. "What are you doing here? Why aren't you--" "Yes...Azure..." "Are you sick?" Siri asked, her brow furrowing into a weird mixture of frustration and concern. "Where else would we be going? I think my ship somehow got off course and I came here but there's no way that it would have happened to both of us so I need to know why you are here?" She paused for him to answer, though got impatient and continued her line of questioning anyway. She needed the information. Something was wrong and she needed to figure out what was going on. The entire situation made her nervous but she was never going to admit that. "Why are there so many Jedi here? Did something happen?"

As if he needed any proof that it was really Siri, she went right into calling him by one of her many nick names that she had dubbed for him. They weren't exactly any of the ones he had chosen... and though in the past it had irritated him to no end he wasn't about to be in any way upset about them. Not in this instance with her. Before she was done speaking she moved the conversation on-wards asking him for a moment about why he hadn't gone to Azure. He sighed, collecting his thoughts as she appeared to be worried about him. He could understand why he was coming off to be confused... after all this wasn't something he would have expected for a thousand years.
She seemed to be asking him a thousand questions at once, allowing him to at least smirk just a little before he was sighing lightly as he stood patently listening for her to finish asking all of her questions before he was shaking his head a little in reply. "Siri, i did go to Azure, but that was ... a long time ago." He paused with a sad sigh, remembering what had really happened there. He wasn't about to tell her what really happened there though, fearing it could disrupt the timeline. He hung his head a little, knowing she wouldn't be accepting the news he had to tell her very lightly.
"I'm going to tell you something, and you need to consider what i am saying very carefully." He warned her, giving her an honest, sincere and serious look. He was honestly surprised she had failed to see a few differences already, but he wasn't saying anything about that yet. "I'm here, on Dantooine with you, from two very different points in time. There has been a rupture in the force, and... you and i are no longer in the Clone wars." He explained carefully as he looked to her for a moment still, knowing her well enough that it would take some convincing before she really believed him.

Obi-Wan smirked at her. He was smirking at her? Why? Her expression turned angry as she watched his reaction. What exactly was he thinking? What was so funny? This was not funny! They had a serious mission to complete and here Obi-Wan was simply smiling like he was in on some kind of joke. "Siri, i did go to Azure, but that was ... a long time ago." Siri paused and stared at the man with a furrowed brow. He had to be sick or crazy or something. "Obi-Wan what are you even talking about? That doesn't make any sense at all! I literally saw you a few days ago..."
The next thing that he said shook Siri's world to its core. He explained that somehow they were from two different times and that now the both of them were no longer in the Clone Wars. Siri froze and just stared at Obi-Wan as if he had grown another head. Her knee-jolt reaction was to not believe him. Any sane person wouldn't believe it. Yet something about it made Siri second guess her initial reaction. She looked at Obi-Wan closer. He was different somehow. His hair was different, he looked different and she hadn't noticed it before then. "No...no you're wrong," she stammered and stepped back slowly. "I don't believe you." But she did, in a way. Siri turned away and walked in a small circle. Her had ran through her short blonde hair and messed it up while she tried to process the information. How could the Force just suck people in like that? How was this at all possible? Nothing like this had happened before...had it? She glanced over at him, the anger and frustration from before was gone. She really looked at him, looked at how different he was, how different he felt to her. She knew Obi-Wan better than just about anyone else. He wouldn't lie to her, not about this. She could always see through his deception, always tell when he was trying to hide something from her. This time he wasn't. And just like that Siri felt as though the floor doped from under her. She braced herself against the pillar they stood beside.
"Oh my..." she couldn't even finish the curse. "I...wh-...how? How did this happen?!? Why?!?"

She responded pretty much as he had been expecting her to, Obi-Wan swallowing lightly and taking a small breath, letting it out with a sigh as he waited for her to come to the realization that it was all true. He wasn't exactly sure what it was that got her to believe it so easily, but what was important was she seemed to be coming around to understanding it all with him. He just hoped she didn't flip out or lash out against him because he was trying to help her.
Next she was simply denying what she was told, trying to fathom it all. She seemed to be taking a second look at him now, trying to figure everything out before she was seeming to let it all fall into place in her head. Reasoning on everything that happened as she seemed to pace in a circle, trying to work her way through the logic of something like this before she was turning back to him, almost collapsing against one of the hall's pillars as she began asking him a series of new questions. Obi-Wan sighed, extending his hand as if to try and reassure her, though he didn't place it on her shoulder yet.
He took a moment to try and gather his own thoughts, not realizing exactly how much she had thrown him in return. It couldn't be as much as she was off her own guard right now of course... it was like her world was shattered he was sure. He had gone through the same thing when he had come through the time slip, though he had been much more composed about all of this. After a moment he nodded a little and sighed as he began answering her questions. "No one is actually sure how it happened yet. The Force seems to have been tampered with by some powerful being and then this happened as a side effect." Obi-Wan explained, summing up as much of his knowledge as he could.
"By my best calculations we're some... and i'm rounding...3980 years before either of us were born... just before the Great Sith Wars." Obi-Wan explained, trying to see if any of that helped her.

"No one is actually sure how it happened yet. The Force seems to have been tampered with by some powerful being and then this happened as a side effect." That was probably the worst answer that Obi-Wan could have given her. What she had wanted to hear was that Obi-Wan knew exactly how it had happened and how they planned to get back. Without a clear reason for how or why they had been brought here only made it more likely that they wouldn't know how to get back. They needed to get back. The Clone Wars were just beginning and the Jedi and the Republic needed them now more than ever before. It was all Siri could do to not get angry. She pushed those feelings out of her, though annoyance remained. She chewed on her bottom lip as she tried to come to terms with what was happening. Perhaps if they knew what time they had slipped to it would help her think of a plan of action. They needed to act.
"By my best calculations we're some... and i'm rounding...3980 years before either of us were born... just before the Great Sith Wars." Obi-Wan answered her question before she could think to ask it. Unfortunately that was not what she had wanted to hear either. Her mouth dropped open and her eyes widened. Anger flared back up again. Four thousand years in the past! How were they to return home with the technology at their disposal? Siri looked around at anything but Obi-Wan. Her face was a mask of thinly controlled rage. Left speechless she turned around started to walk right out of the temple. She walked out the way she had come, past all the other Jedi. She walked straight out, ignoring everything around her. Once outside she let out a shout of anger and kicked the grassy ground beneath her feet. Siri didn't need to look back to know that Obi-Wan had followed her. Her chest heaved from the adrenaline pumping through her body. "Who else is here? Who else has the Force sucked into this forsaken era?"

He could tell the entire while he spoke that she was battling with her frustrations before he finished speaking. She was trying to figure out any way at all not to burst out into flames it seemed, and eventually just decided it was best to storm out of the way. Obi-Wan only gave a small, almost silent sigh before he turned on his heels to watch her leave through the large, still opened doors. "Well i've missed that." He muttered with a shake of his head, though his tone leaked with sarcasm as he was moving to walk after her.
Obi-Wan caught up with Siri soon enough, watching her as she beat the ground up, a small mound of dirt being the thing that seemed to pay for all of this before he was stopping a few feet away, giving a shake of his head. He had arrived behind her just in time to hear her asking her next question, giving a small pause to think on the answer. He had a feeling this wouldn't go to far in helping her through all of this either, but he wasn't about to with hold an answer from her when she specifically asked for one.
"People have been slipping through steadily for a while now... i think i was one of the first... but there's been more and more recently." He explained before shrugging a little. "There have been too many, in too many places to be certain how many though. Or when it started." He explained finally as he looked to the back of her head, sighing lightly. "Are you alright? Do you need anything?" He offered, trying to help her still. He stood at the ready though in case she was ready to throw a boulder, but cautiously walked up to her and rested his hand on her shoulder, trying to calm her, even sending a few calming feelings in way once more as he did so.

"People have been slipping through steadily for a while now... i think i was one of the first... but there's been more and more recently. There have been too many, in too many places to be certain how many though. Or when it started." Siri's eyes closed. No one else that they knew, then. Not Anakin or other Jedi. Back in her time, in the galaxy that they understood Siri always knew what to do. She was confident, and brave, and a respected Jedi. Here, four thousand years away from everything she was familiar with, Siri felt useless. Her understanding of the time was weak as history had never been her strong suit. How could Obi-Wan be so calm? Somehow through all the chaos of being thrown back in time didn't seem to bother him that much. It was annoying sometimes but it was one of the things that made Siri love the man. He always balanced her out and pulled her back off of whatever emotional ledge she had climbed up to.
"Are you alright? Do you need anything?" The feeling of his warm hand on her shoulder brought her back. Her anger slowly subsided and she was left feeling confused but otherwise empty. What were they to do now? She glanced at his hand and just stared at it, studying it. For some reason the memory of when they had admitted their feelings for one another came to mind. That was the first time they had dared touch each other's hands. She recalled what it was like to finally learn what they had felt like. That day they had named that feeling, that wonderful but forbidden attachment. But that day they also reaffirmed their commitment to the Jedi, to it's code, to its insistence on lives devoid of the kind of relationship they had wanted for each other. And here he was holding her shoulder again. She turned her head away sharply and reluctantly pulled away from him. She let out a sigh and turned to face him. "Now you're the one being reckless," she teased though her tone was sad. If they were to start over here, start a new career as Jedi in this foreign time the last thing she needed was suspicion. Siri had been an undercover salver once but the Jedi was her life. If they turned her away now over forbidden feelings for Obi-Wan there would be nothing for her in this time. No way home, no friends, nothing. They needed to be careful as they did not have certain graces granted to them by the Jedi of their time.

As his hand rested on her should for a long moment, the both of them just standing there it seemed as though Siri had fallen out of her near rage while also turning almost dazed at the hand he had placed there. He sighed lightly, wondering how shocked she must have been then and there, but didn't remove his hand. Instead he just rubbed his thumb there for a moment, giving a gentle squeeze as he hoped to be some source of encouragement to her as she was so drastically lost it seemed. He knew his touch on her with the force was a great part in her returning to a calm place, but he said nothing of it, knowing he had been able to help being more then enough for him.
Before either of them said anything more she stepped away from him, breaking the contact as she turned to face him, commenting bleakly but trying to lift her own spirits with her lighthearted comment the way she always seemed to do. He sighed lightly, ruffling his eyebrows a bit at her comment, his forehead creasing a little in thought before he was shaking his head lightly. "Me? Reckless? Siri you know me better then that." He commented back at her with a small nod and smile in her direction, though he only folded his arms back, deciding to let her take the comment however she would. Either way he doubted there was anything reckless about what he had done. Besides that, even if there was there were no other Jedi nearby to notice the slight caring notion he had just displayed.

Siri smiled at him despite her desire not to. Surely he knew that showing such affection was dangerous. Yet he was so laid back and sweet about it Siri could hardly stay annoyed at him. How was it that he could always do that to her? She sighed and rubbed her own arm slowly. Years ago they had agreed to not act on their feelings, at least not in all the ways that they wanted to. They'd drifted apart and then back together again. They were close still, knew each other better than even their own students or teachers. All of those feelings had come flooding back at his gesture. Couldn't he sense that? Perhaps she needed to be more direct.
"Obi-Wan," her voice was softer than usual. "We talked about this. I know that you were surprised to see me but we need the Jedi here in this time. Without them there is not much we can do. We're stronger if we work with them so the last thing we need is for them to kick us out over something like this." It pained her to say it. Back at the temple they knew the system, knew the rules, knew the subtleties in which they could work around. But here everything was different to them. Would the council be firm? Were they laxed? And would they treat them differently because of where they were from. There were so many options and the only safe thing was to act as proper Jedi and not give into their feelings as they once had.
(sorry it's short!)

There was a long moment of silence between the two of them, Obi-Wan eventually having to arch his brow a bit as he looked over to her, trying to gauge why she seemed to be so concerned. Even by their old standards in the order they came from he would have done the same... something so simple but yet many would see the wrong way. She seemed to be deep in thought for a few moments, but soon enough she spoke up, explaining her reasoning to him... relating the conversation he remembered so well from their past. He sighed a bit, swallowing. But the more she kept speaking, the more he began to realize what she was worried about, and on thinking about it he had to realize that things in this timeline were just a little different then she remembered them.
Obi-Wan only smirked a little, having to look away as he hid the slightest of chuckles before he was looking back to her with a small shake of his head. "Siri, they won't kick us out for me... touching your shoulder." He commented with a small shake of his head still before he was scratching the back of his head a little, clearing his throat just a bit. "There's uh... been far stranger things happen recently then that... it would be the least of their concerns." He explained, wondering if he should drop the next bombshell on her.
Should he tell her that relationships... even marriage; though frowned upon was actually... accepted in this timeline?

Obi-Wan was right...again. Siri closed her eyes and faced him, her body visibly more relaxed than it had been. If people were coming back in time then the Jedi wouldn't care about Obi-Wan being affectionate. Siri had allowed her feelings to get the best of her, again. Not that she wanted to admit that to Obi-Wan. She hated admitting he was right so rarely did it. More often than not she was right, at least in her mind, but Obi-Wan had his moments. She sighed again, calming down further until she was empty once more. She still felt like she owed him some kind of explanation as to why she reacted that way.
"I...I'm sorry," she apologized reluctantly. "It's stupid but when you touched me it just got me thinking about that day and my feelings got the better of me. You're right, the Jedi have better things to worry about than us. Things like people falling back in time. I imagine that's keeping them rather busy." Siri tried to shrug the whole thing off but found it difficult to do so. She still felt embarrassed and confused about the sudden burst of memory. What was more, she was still at a loss as to how she could fit into the Jedi Order of old.

He looked to her still, able to see that his reasoning with her was actually doing well to keep her calm in the moment, which was a good thing for both of their sake. As of yet though he still wasn't sure how to handle going about bringing her attention to the rule that was different, one that he was sure the both of them would be able to benefit from. He sighed a bit, looking to the ground between his feet for a second before he was looking back to her, listening to her comment as she went about explaining her reasoning behind her last reaction.
"It's fine, Siri." He reassured her with a small smile on his face as she went about her explanation. After a second he sighed a bit, composing himself as he went on... deciding he might as well explain this to her now and get it out of the way... besides a part of him wanted to see her reaction. "Besides, your worries aren't very well founded for this timeline." He shrugged a bit, looking away from her, his tone dropping off a little as if he didn't plan on finishing what he was saying, leaving her in suspense.
