Overall Appearance:
Satele has Pale to fair skin, and is well built for a woman of her size. Her hair is a very dark black, and moderately length, kept in three braids (one down her back, and one on each side of her face). Her clothing of choice isn't the traditional Jedi robe, but an elegantly designed olive green tunic with gold trim. The Pattern of her tunic matches that of her lightsaber. Her boots and pants are both fight fitting, but durable for many different situations. Her garb is modest, despite it's slightly nontraditional design and style.
Unlike a lot of Jedi, she doesn't find herself above the use of make up either {Albeit In very small amounts}, preferring a grey-blue tone though that is surprisingly fitting for her.
PERSONALITY
As a youth, Satele was quite impatient much like her grandmother, Bastila; She outgrew this with the tempering and training of her Jedi Master though. As she grew older, she was more respected and respectful, having a demanding yet steady calm presence both on and off the battlefield. She is loyally devoted to the Jedi order and the Republic alike, something that was made apparent when she gave up her child in order to serve the two factions fully instead of perusing a normal life. With good reason, she very much distrusts any Sith, or anyone with a tie to the dark side... though none can really blame her.

History:
Satele Shan was born into a quite popular family, though not by choice. Her mother was the direct descendant of Revan and Bastila Shan, and her giving birth despite being a full fledged member of the Jedi Order only caused questions to be asked in concern to Satele's Mother's allegiances. Her mother was exiled for this, leaving Satele with little memory of the woman, besides a series of Journals left for her name.
It wasn't long before Satele began her training under her first Jedi Master, Ngani Zho. This was the man who trained her in the ways of the force for some time before she was relocated to the Sith Home-world of Korriban where she learned under the Battle Master, Kao Cen Darach. It was under his tutelage that she built her lightsaber and began the Jedi Trials, but the Great War began in the outer rim before she ever finished these trials and made the rank of Knight.
When a Smuggler attempted to purchase sith artifacts from the planet surface, Satele would show a display of her foresight when she saw the sith's uprising once more. Shortly after the station she was serving on was attacked. The Sith attacked the orbital station, and it was her with the Smuggler, her current master and two other troopers that managed to fight off several boarding parties on their way to the hangers. The surviving of the two troopers wold ready the ship with the Smuggler while Satele and her master fought two Sith Lords... one of them being Darth Malgus.
Shan and her master held their own for a while, killing the master of Malgus before her master urged her to flee and warn the Republic of the attack. She heeded his warning, though upon her escape felt his death through the force.
Shortly after they brought the news to the Republic of the Sith's return, and she was granted yet another Master, this one a Togruta by the name of Dar'Nala, who was the Jedi who helped to Temper Satele's aggressions. From this point Satele Shan would become one of the Republic's greatest War heroes...
When came the Battle of Alderaan, Satele was already on the world investigating rumors of Imperial Spies on the planet in one of the royal houses. When the Sith invaded, Satele raced to the houses, but was already too late. It was then that she had a vision of the battles to come, and then went to aid the Republic soldiers in guerrilla warfare against the far greater numbers of the Sith.
It was a losing battle until Satele Entered the Frey. Malcom, the trooper from the orbital Station of Korroiban, and one whom she had worked with on many mission since then, was about to be executed when she made it to them and stepped in. She unleashed a force blast on the Sith about to Execute him before she dispatched them, though her real target was the far more powerful Malgus who she had faced before on the same station. Within mere seconds of her entering the fight, Satele defeated four other Sith, and a war droid before she engaged Malgus in a duel, which she had her saber destroyed. A Jedi well in tuned with the force is never unarmed though, and she was able to hold his saber back with only her hand before Malcom came to her aid then, long enough for her to regain her balance and then finish Malgus by quite literally dropping a mountain on him.
It was shortly after this battle in all the confusion that Satele was lost... finding herself waking up as a victim to the time slip.
