Mission Name: Return to the Temple Factions Involved: Jedi and Sith Minimum/Maximum Characters Needed: Obi-Wan Kenobi, Emmi Daneb, @jack, @daniel, Revan Briefing:The Jedi Temple on Tython has been abandoned for some time now, however it is far from forgotten... and still valuable to both sides. Inside lay important Holocrons, Artifacts and teachings in the Libraries, all of which could be used to further the growth of the Jedi. At the same time, the Sith could use them for the same purposes, or destroy them to insure that no one gets them. The Jedi recognizes that they could use them to expand the order once more, hoping to grow to their former strength. The Sith would stop and nothing to prevent the Jedi from growing again. Besides this, Darth Revan seeks something inside the temple related to his own lore... Both sides then race to capture the temple and recover the artifacts they both desire...

Tython was different than Dantooine. It was wilder, and slightly colder. There was one thing they had in common though; so many ruins.
It seemed every single Jedi Landmark had been ransacked at one point or another, and when Jack had pointed this out to Obi-Wan, he'd merely urged her to focus on her studies. So far, her experiences with the Jedi Knight had been good, if a little unexciting. Which was why Jack was so eager to visit Tython. Jedi history seemed interesting, but sitting in a room reading it from a datapad wasn't the same as actually seeing things for herself. The ruins of Tython were old; this planet was, in fact, the ancient homeworld of the Jedi. Its origin.
Jack hadn't been all that enthusiastic at being a Jedi at first; she'd been reluctant, and rather stubborn when it came to her studies. But she's warmed to it over the last three years and found there was something nice about the familiarity of other Jedi. Needless to say, they weren't much for the whole group thing, preferring to keep their emotions in check and all that.
They'd taken a speeder from their landing spot, and had now reached the old Temple.
"You know," Jack said thoughtfully to Obi-Wan as they walked through the old courtyard. "The Jedi could return here and possibly rebuild. Wouldn't it be easier to dig up their history that way? --And anyway, I like Tython better than Dantooine." The last comment was slightly immature, but Jack didn't care.

Tython was home to both the Je'daii and Jedi Order. At the time of the Je'daii, the followers of the ancient philosophy believed that one dedicate themselves to both sides of the force. It was only through dedication to light and darkness that one could understand the true nature of the force. It had been told that there were powerful ancient artifacts that predated both the new Sith Order and the Jedi that could truly turn the balance of the Force. As it stood, the Jedi were in much greater numbers than the Sith. Not many knew of the exact number of the Sith, or if thy even truly existed. However, here on Tython stood two of the three Sith in the galaxy.
Revan was here for any holocrons that may have mentioned his name. His goal was to erase them from existence, and operate as a shadow. He had no idea why the other one had decided to join him on this journey. The two were already in the temple with a platoon of soldiers ransacking the ruins. They were to tell Revan if they found anything. Revan himself went into the library which was rather untouched to his amazement. He wondered what caused the ruin, but then he remembered tale of the Sith purging much of the Jedi here before the reaching of a truce. To him, the truce was a joke. The Sith that had made that truce were now dead. All of them had been devoured by the power of the new Dark Lord.
"May the Force conspire in my favor."

The two Jedi had walked together for a while, moving from the camp site that was set up about a mile away from the abandoned temple. It was where the Shuttles had all landed to drop the Jedi off, and though it wasn't the most comfortable living, Obi-Wan didn't complain. After all he was used to far worse conditions back during the clone wars. He smirked lightly as he remembered swimming through sewage shortly after Anakin had attempted to get him to eat insects and worms... yes... sleeping in a leaky tent seemed like quite the improvement to Kenobi.
His new Padawan on the other hand seemed to be quite opposed though as she had been slightly complaining for the majority of the trip... though he had to admit it wasn't all that bad. Not yet anyway. Half of the Jedi from the landing parties had gone down to the Temple in order to begin retrieving artifacts, holocrons and other devices and relics that could go far to aid the Jedi Order. There had been a storm over night though, which had cut off communications with the Jedi in the temple, and so Obi-Wan and Jack were assigned the task of going to the temple and checking in on them, repairing the communications in order to keep in contact with the Camp.
This caused Obi-Wan to pull Jack away from her teachings and head over to the temple, having left their speeder bikes on a ridge not far from the temple as they continued to walk on foot the rest of the way... not wanting to upset the wildlife. It was around then that Jack asked her questions, a small grin curling at the edge of his lips as he looked to her out of the corner of his eyes, his robes tight around him against the cold. He was proud that she was thinking somewhat tactically, but found it best to use the opportunity to help her see the situation a bit more.
"It would... " He said almost agreeably to her so as not to dispute her idea entirely. "But there are other factors involved before we can just move the order here. For one we don't have enough Jedi to spare between two temples... and tactically the one on Dantooine is more fortified.. it would be easier for a surprise attack to be launched here." He explained gently to her, still walking in the direction of the temple. "I believe the Jedi will consider putting others out here at some point... but for now it is easier to take what we need and leave it." He finished, still walking for a moment, though he almost halted for a moment, his senses warning him of something. He didn't stall for more then a split second though, only letting his eyes drift around for a moment.
Within a split second he stopped, turning on his heel as he pulled his saber from his belt clip, swinging it out as it activated and sliced through the chest of a Sith Empire Soldier from this timeline, who had been cloaked in order to hide from them, probably intending to ambush them. With a flick of his wrist the turned again, blocking blaster shots that seemed to originate from no where, in a moment flicking them back toward the direction they came from to land on the man who had fired them. Both of their cloaking technologies failed as they fell to the ground before Obi-Wan looked back to Jack. "See?" He asked, referring to the aspect of a surprise attack he had mentioned moments before. He knelt down, checking on the two of them to insure they had both been killed before he was shaking his head a little, pulling his com-link off his belt before he returned his lightsaber there, contacting the camp.
"We've been compromised... I just ran into Sith soldiers.. they have stealth equipment." He spoke into it, already beginning to jog back down the valley, stopping on the edge of a ridge where the abandoned Tython temple could be seen. He pulled his electro binoculars out, trying to get a good view of the temple from a distance...

It was Master Dumah's interest as a researcher that had brought the Jedi team to Tython on a mission to retrieve old Jedi relics. There were only a few things that could drag Emmi's master away from his books and experiments and getting the chance to gather and then inspect ancient data was one of those things. Emmi herself had no particular interest in the information inside the temple, though the idea of spending time inside the old temple was interesting. Still, no one's enthusiasm for the mission met that of her master's. Unfortunately, however, it seemed that they still had to wait a little before they poked around the temple. A few of the Jedi had hung back to pack up the camp while Master Obi-Wan Kenobi and his student went ahead to assist the Jedi already inside the temple. Emmi guessed her master was disappointed with being forced to hang back-- even if it was only for a short time. The young woman sat on the cool ground, preparing a pack. Beside her was the communication system. A little ways from her was her master, Daniel Dumah. She shot him a sheepish smile. "It'll be exciting to see what kind of condition the temple is in," Emmi said casually to the stoic man. She also sort of wished that she was with Jack and Obi-Wan. Jack was always so enthusiastic and seeing her run around the temple would be enjoyable all itself. The two girls were close friends, and had been for some time. Hopefully they'd get to run into each other once they were inside.
The peace was disturbed by an unexpected call from Obi-Wan. "We've been compromised... I just ran into Sith soldiers.. they have stealth equipment." Emmi turned to face the system, eyes growing wide. She shot an alarmed look to Daniel. Sith soldiers were already there? If they were at the temple then the other Jedi... Was that Obi-Wan? Jack is with him! What if-- Emmi forced her thoughts away from that, now they needed to move. The other teams of Jedi who had heard the warning as well sprang into action. Before the young woman rushed to her master's side she grabbed a medical kit and assured her lightsaber was fastened to her belt.

He had left Revan in the temple to do as he desired. There was supposed to be an unfathomable amount of wealth and power in these ruins, and that is what the Sith Lord desired. He was not one to make moves as bold as Revan, but he was perhaps more calculating. Revan was completely tied to his passion, and he was more so tied to his logic. He was deep in concentration until he heard blaster fire. So, either the militiamen were idiots that shot at nothing, or they were not alone. He approached a captain of the guard, and a comlink message was intercepted that was enough to confirm that the Jedi were indeed here.
"Jedi..."
The words form and echoed like a low guttural croak. The mask and dark robes of this individual hid his true appearance as well as Revan's. The idea of battle was not one that he had prepared for, but he would welcome it nonetheless. His hate began to flow freely, and he called upon its power to aid him in battle. He had actually never done battle with a Jedi before, so he was intrigued what the ensuing storm would bring. He rallied the remaining troops. Revan had already killed all of the Jedi in the library before they even stormed in. It was his turn to see what battle was like. After the remaining men rallied, he spoke to the troops.
"Annihilate them!", he hissed.
The men followed the order and marched off into battle. He and Revan could likely escape at this point, but he wouldn't tell Revan anything. If it weren't for the Dark Lord, he would have tried to kill Revan some time awhile ago. The hatred he felt for Revan was only eclipsed by the hatred he felt for the Jedi and their philosophy.

Daniel Dumah was never a field person. But in this case, he was gladly making an exception. To search for precious relics was a great motivation for him to leave his favoured spot in the library and merge with other Jedi. Not that he actually mingled like a normal person. As much excited he was inside to search for the load of old archives, his face really showed nothing. His expression was stoic and very focused, as he opened up a holographic map of the temple ruins and examined it with careful blue eyes. It wasn't the most updated map, yet it worked. Daniel had a few very good guesses of where they needed to look into. A plan beforehand was always better than roaming around aimlessly. And Daniel liked everything well organised.
Of course, they weren't able to move forward yet. At first a group of Jedi needed to clear the path and secure it for the rest. So they were left behind. But Daniel used this free time for their benefit, marking locations in the map.
"It is exciting, indeed." He said in return, when Emmi worded her opinion in this mission. He was glad they were sharing the same feeling toward finding relics and searching the old temple. They had to be honoured to be here as a part of this important. "Imagine all the useful information we can extract from this temple." His tone was deep, but showing hints of fascination. Daniel was a perfect example of how a person can be in love with their job. "It's a milestone for the Order." It also meant Daniel would be locking himself in study to drown himself in further knowledge until he completely passed out in pure exhaustion. Even Emmi's reminders for humanly activities as food wouldn't be enough to convince him to leave it.
"Once we get in, I want you to check in the locations I marked in the map. I'm sharing it with your commlink." He said and flicked his blue eyes at Emmi's way. He still didn't smile. It was too early to celebrate victory.
And he was right about his guess. Only in seconds, they were alerted about Sith activity by Obi-Wan Kenobi. Daniel wasn't afraid of them, yet he was mostly concerned about their aim in this place. He was quite sure they were after the same thing as them. So this was going to be a race in between Jedi and Sith.
While his line of thought wasn't the same with Emmi at the moment, Daniel caught her gaze for a brief moment. It was all they needed. "Quick. We need to get going." And he waved his holographic map off, shot up to his feet. Emmi was already grabbing her medical kit.
A few more Jedi Knights were moving along with them and moving out of the camp. While there had been no sight of the enemy at the moment, it was a matter of time Sith showed up. They were informed they were using stealth equipment. While such a feat could trick eyes, it was a different matter with the ones who was more attached to Force. Daniel had been training himself with it, and now he could feel presence around them. He wasn't too experienced, though. Thus he pulled out a small device from inside his robe and activated it to scan around for any stealthy presence.
It was almost right in a dangerous moment, when he rose his scanner up and it alerted him for a human presence. When he signed up for this mission, he wasn't expecting to get involved in a battle. But here he was, having to reach for his lightsaber and snatch it from his belt. Silvery green flashed, as he swung it in a horizontal way; fast. His move was a hit and a man suddenly appeared in sight before collapsing down. The wound was fatal and the other could not go on more. Daniel's eyes were widened at the close contact. It had been years since last time he had to use his lightsaber against anyone. But his daily physical training was fruitful in the end. But he was still lacking much experience, having to spend recent years in the library.
"Emmi, stay behind!" He rose his tone and his expression was more determined now. It was his duty to protect his padawan, so he was going to do the best he could. Rest of the knights around them were engaged in a battle, being attacked by invisible opponents. It wasn't going to be easy, but they were all capable of making this right.

Jack listened as Obi-Wan answered her questions, the two ambling along at a comfortable but swift pace through the forest. Suddenly, he came to a stop, looking around in alarm. Although not yet as trained as her master, Jack could feel it as well. She did not expect Ben to suddenly take out his lightsaber and stab at the air.
There was moment of silence and shock as the man appeared, and collapsed on the ground, dead. Then, both master and Padawan leaped into action. The silvery light of Jack's blade joined Obi-Wan's as she activated it. Obi-Wan deflected the blaster shots, and Jack followed his example, letting her senses and the Force tell her where to look. Mid-air, the lightsaber found something solid and invisible to hit, and the man appeared, collapsing to the ground. Looking to see where she'd hit him, it occurred to Jack that he was dead.
Dead.
She'd just... killed someone.
Obi-Wan spoke to her for a moment, and Jack looked up at him with wild, horrified eyes. "I just killed him!" she said, her voice shaking. Her legs had suddenly gone all wobbly. Obi-Wan took out his comlink, speaking in to it and hurrying toward the temple. Jack managed to snap herself out of her shock and follow Ben, peering down at the temple.
"Something's wrong," she murmured. "Can you not sense it?"
She hoped the people back at the camp were all okay. Emmi was there, and fighting was not one of her strong points. The other Jedi would protect her, though, right? Still, it wasn't comforting. Trying to focus on the task at hand, she turned to Obi-Wan. "See anything?" she asked hopefully. "Or should we head in there expecting everyone to be slaughtered or invisible?" Imperials. What were they doing here?

Initially, Obi-Wan hadn't noticed the fright that his new Padawan had after she had been forced to kill one of their attackers, with him being busy on the Commlink. By the time he had noticed that she had been disturbed by the ordeal, she was already calming herself down on her own, though Obi-Wan took note to bring this up in time himself so he could help her through things like this. At the moment though he didn't think it required the both of them to stop and talk about it... after all there were invisible Sith crawling around everywhere and stopping would have only gotten them into trouble.
When the two of them made it to the ridge, Obi-Wan stopped and looked out over the temple, using his electro binoculars in order to see the situation from afar. He heard her comment, nodding a bit in return as she mentioned that there was something wrong. "Very wrong..." He agreed with her giving a nod, though he stopped with a heavy sigh as he looked down to the hoard of at least thirty soldiers now beginning to climb the ridge up into his direction. "Oh... Well... that's certainly going to be putting a crimp in my day." He commented heavily as he sighed, shaking his head a little. Thirty droids was one matter, but Thirty Sith Soldiers was something entirely different... there was only a slim chance he and Jack could defeat those kinds of numbers, and with her seeming to have a distaste to killing; something he could commend though that didn't exactly help them in this situation, it looked like he would be doing most of the fighting.
"These ones don't have cloaking... i think it was just for the scout parties." Ob-Wan explained factually before he was continuing. "As for the Jedi on the inside of the temple..." His voice sounded bleak as it trailed off with a sigh. He stood back up from laying on the rock, though he remained low as he was hunched over. "Well come on, we can't let this ambush our camp... I've got an idea." He announced as he began moving away from the ledge, hoping to use the element of surprise. He moved away from the edge, making sure Jack didn't fall behind before he was pointing up to a water fall. "There's a cave up there, i want you to move up there, but keep quiet. Stay put." He ordered firmly as he looked to her before he continued on for a moment, heading back to where the Manka Cat's seemed to be the most heavily infested.
He crawled near them, climbing a tree before he shut his eyes, extending his arm toward the cat that seemed to be the Alpha male. He concentrated a moment, using the force and a skill known as animal friendship to speak to the Manka Cat, soon enough having the entire herd in a frenzy as it would charge down the ridge towards the Sith Soldiers, attacking them with ferocity.
Obi-Wan hated the sound of death as much as his Padawan, but it told him that his plan was working to distract from the Jedi.
One of the Sith soldiers would eventually call back to the Sith at the temple in reply. "It wasn't Jedi! It's the wildlife! It's gone hostile!" There was a few more seconds on the comm, blaster fire and the sounds of animals raging before it cut out with a scream... signifying the death of the soldier that had been on the comm channel.
Obi-Wan stayed in the tree for a short time later before he dropped from it and rolled to his feet, stalking silently back into the cave where he had sent Jack to stay hidden.

He had hear all of the commotion going on outside, and he had already finished his search. In his hands he held two very different holocrons. One of them held the coordinates to an ancient power the likes of which the galaxy was likely never going to be ready for, and the second held the secrets of what appeared to be forbidden Sith teachings. If it were anywhere else, Revan would have laughed at such a hypocrisy. The fighting outside seemed to get heavier until he heard that the men were merely dealing with animals. It couldn't have been the jedi from the temple, he had already slaughtered them all. Still, the message over the comlink was a bit peculiar. The Sith Lord would more than likely let Malum deal with the logistics of cleaning up. After all, it had been his order to annihilate whatever it was that the men found. Revan gathered the holocrons and put them in a pouch attached to the side of his belt.
His starfighter was not far from behind the temple. He took the same opening that Malum had, and made his way behind whatever was unfolding in the front. It was out in the open that he could begin to pick up on things. For one, the soldiers had clearly been duped by a trick. Secondly, there were several in the immediate area that had connections with the Force (some clearly deeper than others). Third, the amount of death was messing with his focus. The truce was obviously not being held up by either side, and Revan was not in the mood to become part of some makeshift parley. His walk became more brisk, and before long he was in front of the starfighter. He opened the hatch, and was about to climb aboard when he felt someone with a connection to the Force that ran deeper than Malum's. He quickly placed the pouch with holocrons inside of the cockpit before shutting the hatch.
"Well, well. Now I am intrigued."
Revan's focus was now on the field that he just a moment ago had no trouble leaving. He could return to Malum's position, but he had no idea what they were dealing with. He had two options. First, he could watch from the shadows and learn from the mistakes that each one of the players made. Secondly, he could jump right into the thick of things and learn as he went along. He usually wasn't reckless but he decided to go with the second option. The Sith Lord ran towards the direction of the currently halted conflict. It wasn't long before he rendezvoused with the men that claimed to only be worried about animals. They weren't the ones that had been fighting though. He had those men fan out and begin a perimeter sweep. He hadn't told them what they were looking for. After all, they weren't his men. It wasn't long before Revan found one of the men. After a short investigation he realized that the scout had not been killed by any animal.
"Tighten the perimeter! This scout was killed by a lightsaber. There are still Jedi somewhere out here. Retreat to your master if at all possible and await further orders. These are clearly Jedi not in the same league as those that I killed in the temple earlier."

After the call from Obi-Wan everything seemed to devolve into chaos. Daniel was quick to activate his lightsaber. With a stroke of luck and brilliance he was able to use his radar to detect the nearby soldiers despite their cloaking mechanisms. The minute the sith soldier fell dead Emmi ignited her blade. She was not a warrior either, but she was prepared to defend her fellow Jedi and Master. She pressed her lips together until they were a thin line. The foe was invisible so she had to rely on her senses to detect them. From nowhere some shots from a blaster came at Daniel and Emmi. Quickly, Emmi deflected the bolts away from the two of them. "Emmi, stay behind!" "Yes, Master," she answered, sliding in behind him. She turned her back towards him so she could continue to defend him from behind. Slowly the Jedi managed to cut through the invisible sith soldiers. Emmi continued to deflect the shots until they stopped completely. Breathing heavily, her stance relaxed and she took the opportunity to look Daniel and the other Jedi over. She did not see any fallen Jedi. With the immediate danger out of the way her thoughts turned once again to the Jedi in the caves and her friends who had gone ahead. "Master, are you alright?" she asked Daniel to make sure he was alright.
Once again Emmi was caught off by the distant cries of anguish mixed with the growls of some kind of animal. Emmi stepped forward, straining her eyes to see what might be the source of the sound. Almost immediately she regretted it as she turned her head quickly from the attack taking place further down. She did not bother to explain to her master what she saw, she assumed he could figure it out from the sounds and her reaction. "We...we should find Master Kenobi and Jack," Emmi stammered. "Do you think the Sith are in the caves? Because if they are then the Jedi there..." She couldn't bring herself to finish the statement. "What if Master Kenobi and Jack need us?"

Emmi was capable -and very good- with blocking the blasts coming their way, thus protecting both of them. Daniel made a mental note of making her train further on this skill. Good things, they needed to focus on. "That was very good." He worded his approval on Emmi's actions. This was the first time they were finding themselves in an open conflict. All of their previous adventures happened in library, or just mostly indoors. Their battle had been with pages of books and the power of words. Indeed, this was a new experience for them to be as master and padawan. Honestly, Daniel preferred to spend more time together in library. But it wasn't like they had any options here.
When Emmi stood behind him, so they covered each others' back; Daniel was moving his scanner around to detect more hostile forces. The holographic screen popped up before him and he was working on jamming this cloaking tech to prove more useful to other Jedi fighting around them. His lightsaber was already shut off and tucked back to his utility belt, so his hand could be freed in order to work on his screen.
Most of the enemy was taken down by their comrades by the time Daniel was able to take the stealth tech off. All the enemies around were now seen and it made Jedi work easier to fight off. While Daniel wasn't actively fighting, it really wasn't his preferred way of doing things. He could show more uses in other ways.
Once all the hostile soldiers were taken down, Daniel gave out a sigh and closed his eyes for a brief moment. He could feel the disturbance in the balance of the Force. It wasn't really anything he felt before. But this was... interesting, if he had to word it that way. Unstable, but certainly powerful. His curiousity only grew and he would like to examine the source.
His blue eyes were opened then, glancing around. There was a thoughtful expression in his face, as he was weighting something in his mind. The desire of rushing toward the ruins was heavy, but it wasn't a logical move at the moment. Getting separated from the Jedi group wouldn't be a wise decision. He could take down a few enemy soldiers alone, yet he had no idea of the number he would be facing in the temple ruins. He couldn't simply throw his and Emmi's lives away like that. They needed to move with the group. Strength came with numbers, he had to admit.
Moving his scanner toward the source of the animal growling, Daniel didn't actually need to scan it. He could feel it and hear it. That wasn't a nice way to end lives, but it was still better than most ways. As long as it served them right, he was fine with accepting it.
Then his scanner was pointing toward the caves, searching for any life forms within. A few different types of smaller animals popped up in his holographic screen and a female human. "I don't believe there is any." He replied, not exactly giving an obvious reaction to this animal attack. "But yes, we need to find them and then head toward the temple. We need to get our hands on the artifacts first."
With that they started to head toward the caves, the group moved with them; alert. Still, Daniel took the lead. His scanner was searching for the whole area for any surprises and the anti-stealth aura surrounded them to jam into any hostile activity. They were fast, but not fast enough for Daniel's taste in this case. He knew it would be a major loss, if they lost to Sith what they came here for.

Active Event The fallen in this thread are suddenly reanimated. No one knows why, and as you attack you will soon discover a surprise. They cannot die. Find the source of this inexplicable power, or not, while still going through with the mission.

Jack's eyes remained fixed on the temple and the growing number of Sith warriors below as Obi-Wan decided on his plan. "Whoa whoa whoa--wait a minute--you want me to just sit in that cave and wait for you while you go fight an army of Imperials on your own?" Jack crossed her arms, glaring at her master. He didn't seem to notice, instead crawling down to a place of cover. She could feel the ripple in the force as he stirred up the Manka Cats, realizing what his plan was.
If she stood around trying to help... it would probably get in the way. Instead, she turned and headed towards the cave Obi-Wan had directed her to. It was cold and silent in there, and something about the cave was off. It occurred to Jack that she remember hearing a story on Dantooine about there being a cave full of the dead.
She shivered. What a stupid thing to fear. Jack settled on the floor of the cave and closed her eyes, trying to meditate and get rid of that fear.
There is no emotion, there is peace...
Crack.
The sound startled Jack. Although she'd risen in the air for a moment, the sudden jerk out of the force caused her to hit the ground with a thump. Jack leaped to her feet and peered around. She couldn't see anything out of the ordinary, but she could feel it. The air had changed; it wasn't like the danger she had felt by the Jedi Temple. It was older. It was wrong.
Crack.
Veins had appeared in the stone she stood on, reached the walls. They were being pushed open.
"What...?" Jack backed away slowly, only to realize she was moving deeper into the cave rather than towards the exit. And then the first hand pushed its way out of the stone, followed by an arm. Jack's stomach was in her throat. How was this stone breaking so easily? She reached for her lightsaber, and the bright silver light shot out, illuminating the cave.
The people that arose looked like corpses to Jack; and, unfortunately she had plenty of experience in seeing the dead. These weren't fresh corpses though. These were old and mangled, with little skin... mostly a skeleton, in fact. They were blocking her exit. She leaned forward and sliced off the head of the nearest walking corpse. It didn't seem to care, instead reaching out and grabbing Jack's arm.

Obi-Wan in the meantime continued to stalk around the small platoon that was originally on it's way to eliminate him and his Padawan. The numbers were steadily dropping, well below the 30 that had originally been on it's way to hunt them down as the Manka cats continued to cut through the numbers. With such a distraction, Obi-Wan was easily able to make his way back up to the cave where he had sent Jack then, seeing very little of anything get in the way of him and the cave.
Once he made it to the edge of where he needed to go, he took a moment to gather his energy and then leaped upwards to land on the edge of the cave's mouth. He turned to over look the temple for a moment, seeing that Jack was gone now and must have gone into the cave further to hide better. It didn't matter at the moment so thought Kenobi, as he would be able to head in deeper to get her in a moment. In the meantime he looked back down to the temple from his new vantage point, smirking just a little to himself to see that his use of the wildlife had also pulled nearly all of the Sith (soldiers and force users alike) away from the temple now. It seemed he had just created an opening for himself and his Padawan... though the two of them would still need to aid the rest of the Jedi afterwards.
He sighed lightly. "Now we just need to make our way to the temple, secure it, and then make sure the rest of the Jedi make it this far..." He talked, turning as he realized there was no one else there. He shook his head before he was turning deeper into the cave now to find Jack, hopefully quickly. As he entered though he immediately got the feeling that something was beginning to go very wrong. He reached down for his lightsaber out of instinct before he could hear the low grumbles of something very un-alive. He paused, knowing the last time he had heard anything remotely like that was when he had been to Geonosis...
"Undead?" He asked himself, walking a little deeper in hopes of finding Jack. He sensed she was safe... even if she was also distraught at the moment. He could see the wall of zombies, seeing Jack on the opposite side of it as she was trying to escape the other way... "Jack, get out of here and find the Jedi!" He called back to her, before he was cutting through a group of the zombies that were pushing him out the first opening to the cave... effectively keeping him separated from his Padawan.
He turned again, heading out of the cave the way he had come before he threw his lightsaber behind him. It sliced through the top of the cave, cutting stalactites from the ceiling and weakening the rest of the cave's structure. Obi-Wan then called his saber back to him, setting it on his belt before he reached up, collapsing as much of the cave as he could. Somehow he felt it was sufficient to keep the Zombies down. He sighed before he was leaping back down from the Cave and to the creek, heading in a burst of speed to the Temple in hopes that he could get inside.
The Manka cats had eaten some of the Sith troopers, but for the most part they were in tact enough that they could start coming back to life as well. To Obi-Wan the only thing that could possibly have created something like this must have been at the Temple in the vaults, that perhaps the Sith had disturbed. If not, then perhaps he could find something there to stop it before anything worse happened.
As he made it to the edge of the steps to to the temple, he climbed them quickly, though his lightsaber was still in hand as he looked around cautiously, for any remaining Sith soldiers or force users that might have stayed behind... He couldn't be bothered with them, so he hoped to deal with them without taking much time... He had to fix this.
