Class: Free Lance
Rank: Detective
Face Claim: Benedict Cumberbatch
OC or Canon: Original Character
APPEARANCE
Height: 6ft 3in
Weight: 186
Eyes: Grey/blue/green
Hair: Dark Brown
Overall Appearance:
He has Dark brown curly hair and a long-ish face with a rounded chin, he also has green eyes and a pale skin. There's nothing remarkable about him no scars or birth marks. Other wise in the way he dresses, he wears a white button up shirt most of the time leaving the top button undone due to not wearing ties. He wears black slacks and shoes nothing remarkable. Along with this he wears a long dark trench coat saying 'it looks cool'. He looks as though he is slightly on the skinny side but that is due to his height, he in reality has a moderate build.
Aldric sometimes appears to have his mind wondering, or that he is some times peering directly into your soul. He has the stature and poise of a man scared of little to nothing, not because of him being fearless, but due to him having being able to stay calm through almost any thing, despite how his heart might be racing.
He might change his appearance from time to time, meaning not that he has different tastes in clothing, but he often changes up for different cases that he might not want people to know exactly who he is, so he had wigs and face beards, along with a variety of clothing to match.
PERSONALITY
His high intelligent often makes people stay away from him, When speaking with others he often speaks before thinking how it will effect those he's speaking to and there fore is not good with other peoples secrets only his own. Always analyzing every step, and every movement, of every one around him.
Sure he can see what's on your face but there are races he can't do this with such as Kel Dor do to there odd face. Other then that he is also very hyper active and out spoken, jumpy, and twitchy which keeps him on his toes, in both good and bad ways. On the good side being twitchy has saved him a great deal of trouble when it puts him on his toes, that is when he looks out more for things that are out of place. In bad ways however this is the reason he speaks before thinking, He'll start making a deduction out loud toward a person, and upon reaching the end of the facts finding out it leads to the revealing of certain secrets, or personal feelings.
He also has a Eidetic memory that which again leads some to dislike him by him pointing out even small things that said person forgot, or would have liked to be forgotten. Even so he still struggles to remember names from time to time.
Also he doesn't mind crowds to much it's just that at times it's the crowds that mind him, he always feels he's being judged so why bother being normal. The way he sees it is "If people aren't going to like me because I'm smart, then why become dumb?" So he continues on without worrying about what others think. However those who would accept these facts and not hold grudges toward him for this fact are those he might count as friends.
He is obsessive compulsive, But not completely to the point where every thing HAS to be perfect, But he prefers them to be. This also plays a part of the reason he is able to see math, and numbers in objects and people.
Due to things that happened in his past he very much hates liars, more so then many other types of people. This being said he generally will not help liars and on top of that if he finds you are lying then he will expose your lie with joy. Even so he is able to see the difference between Lies and Secrets, however still finds it hard to keep secrets that aren't his own. Also because of this he normally won't lie to many people, he will keep from telling the truth to someone who at the time doesn't need to know, or if he suspects someone of being guilty of a certain crime he has taken upon himself to solve.

History:
BIOGRAPHY:
Birth --- 10 years old
Aldric was born to a loving mother Alwen who was a member of the police force on Coruscant, a kind, wise, and loving, yet quiet and still strict father, Bruce who was a Physics and science teacher at one of the highest class universities on Coruscant. Aldric was the Third child to the family, following 4 years after his older brother, Brody, and six years after his older sister, Aya.
Aldric was extremely responsive at about a year old, already walking and picking up speech, sometimes he could follow along with somewhat complex ideas and conversations; something that would have impressed most parents, but his father often times worked with him, and by this time was already a bit behind his older brother in some aspects, but thanks to his parents greater experience with children at this point he was ahead of his brother and older sister alike, in other things. Eventually having two older siblings pushed his learning ahead faster as well, being able to learn from not only parents and school, but from two others closer to his age, which allowed him to learn from a variety of people in different ways.
At around the age of three he was taking an interest in some detective type board games, even though just barely grasping the concepts of them at the time. Often times both parents worked days, and sometimes even into nights, which left the two brothers to be watched by grand parents, or more often times sitters, causing the two to get used to a variety of people at an early age, which went well for when they where ready for school.
Which was something Aldric took to with flying colors. He wasn't at all shy, and early on after a short period of time to adjust to what he was supposed to be doing in school, he quickly jumped to the head of his class, though this wasn't difficult considering he was being asked to count to 10 and rant off his ABCs and colors. He still did work faster then other kids his age however.
As he got older he began to grasp his games more, and quickly became proficient with them. He also began taking an interest in Detective holo shows and dramas. And more then a few times did he notice where the episode was heading, and got the "who done it" several times.
Then came a time for him to test these skills he had slowly growing and festering in his mind...
The Wallet that got away...
At around the time he turned 10 years old he came across a wallet in his apartment building, he immediately brought it to his mother. She seemed disappointed in him, he couldn't see why until he opened it to see the money gone, she had thought he had stolen it, not due to anything he had done before could understand that at his age he might be curious. But that wasn't what had gotten her upset, it was that he refused to return the money that in reality he didn't have.
Aldric tried to tell the truth about finding it empty as it was, but she didn't believe him for a while. That night after his mother had fallen asleep he sneaked out of bed and looked at the wallet to see if there was any way to return the wallet. His mother had said she couldn't return it and would bring it to the police station the next day so they could figure out who it belonged to and see if any reports of a missing wallet were filed.
He found no ID in the wallet but only finding a picture of a boy with red hair, he could tell it wasn't the child's wallet the boy looked only to be about 5 years old, he found several items that pointed to an adult holder, such as: a calling card, it had some writing on it and the number was removed however. Aldric then made a safe guess that it was a mothers wallet, or perhaps a older sister of the boy. Judging by a long red hair he found in it, he didn't have a DNA scanner but he would figure it out without one. He found a small imprint in the card, only half the letters were on the card, the way he saw it, it was a private school for the boy, or a work place for the owner.
Using the process of elimination with the letter on the card, and him using his Eidetic memory he came up with the name, then remembered the building not far from Aldric's apartment, it's address and location, "Sron privet Schools, 3015, south" was the name of the place, he looked at the clock, and decided he would have to get up before his mother went and took the wallet if he wanted to prove to his mother that he could bring the wallet back to the owner.
The next day he talked his mother into letting him take the wallet to the school before she took it to the police, she agreed and he returned it to the mother of the 5 year old boy. The young boys mother told Aldric he was right, and that it had been pit pocketed from the woman. The fact that it was found and returned was remarkable.
This quickly became something he became known for, when he returned to his school the next day, he was asked questions quickly and often by some of the other students. More then this, both his parents quickly tossed any doubts that Aldric was a Bad child or one to be worried about, and where quickly impressed with his sense of truth and honor, which was finally something that Aldric was measurable and surpassed his older brother in. That same year he went ahead a grade putting him a grade ahead of his age range, this also caused him to again get used to another crowd of people.
11 --- 20
The Bully and the Brain
Aldric became very well known for his brains in school, this got attention from all groups from students, to teachers, and some he didn't actually like, namely bullies.
One Day when Aldric was about 12 years old, in school a Bully with rather low grades, attempted to force Aldric into doing his homework for him. Aldric refused which didn't please the much bigger boy. Aldric tried many times to end the argument, but finally the boy pushed Aldric to far, and caused Aldric to reveal a little secret the Bully had, Aldric had noticed the boy had a small amount of a crystal powder on his lips and under his finger nails, a substance Aldric quickly identified as a drug known as Spice. When Aldric threatened to tell the teachers of this, the bully picked a physical fight with Aldric.
One that Aldric couldn't defend himself against, Aldric came home bloodied that day, and his mother had some cross words with the teachers and the other boys parents that day.
After which She began to enroll him in over the weekend self defense classes. Classes Aldric had only a small liking for. Still he was now more sure of himself, and wasn't having to worry about being beaten up by bullies.
Trip to Alderaan
School went well for the next few years and finally Alwen and Bruce decided that it was time for a long over due vacation which would also be a first vacation for their two boys. Aldric was still 13 years old when the left for Alderaan, while his brother was 16.
They tried different ideas but they both thought Alderaan which was where Alwen was born, would be a great vacation spot, mostly thanks to it's low crime rate, but also as a way to show Aldric and Brody where their mother grew up.
The vacation was quiet which was nice for the parents, But Aldric and Brody only really had fun when they where gone from the hotel and doing something, or arguing, or fighting, or getting lost, or anything besides being quiet.
Their parents found it funny how their bickering and arguing proved how much alike they both where to each other.
A Puzzling Hand Bag....
At the time and was still on vacation Aldric came across a black hand bag, It's contents being only hair pins, a pencil, and a Puzzle book.
((OOC---Fun fact in real life it was a Sudoku game book but I'm not sure what the Star Wars counter part would be.))
His mother by this time had learned to trust him, and to let him have some time with the item so he could attempt to return it.
He started right away knowing it was a woman thanks to the hair pins, He checked each hair pin and found no hair in any of them but could tell they weren't new because some of them where worn out a bit. He moved on to the book, and pencil most of the book had been finished, judging from the fact that the pages had not been stiff he could tell it had been open for a long time, he looked at how the pencil marks didn't seem to change much meaning that the entirety of the book that had been done, was done in a short amount of time. That gave him the idea that who ever it was, often had plenty of time on her hands.
He tried to remember people who might have time on there hands by the type of puzzle book (Sudoku) it was someone who was a thinker and wise he thought it could be someone older, but was still unsure until he found the next big clue, a ripped out page with the corner of a letter that could be seen that had been written on. He grabbed some thin wax paper and placed it over the page next to the removed page, where the imprint could be seen just barely, he pressed and scribbled over the former writing the words "Miss Handler, 225 A east" So she was giving directions to someone but she had also given him the directions too, either he would find the owner, or someone who knew the owner, the next day that's what he did, finding the owner. A lady in her 60s who had lost her bag and thanked the boy for going through the effort to bring it to her. As a reward he gave him a Flute which he carries to this day.
Sibling rivalry
After Aldric returned the bag to it's owner, it caused the two brothers to get along even less. Brody began to realize his brothers growing knowledge and found that he would quickly be as smart as him. And so began the constant sibling Rivalries, more so then in the two boys past. Aldric found himself being constantly challenged to solve riddles given to him by his older brother, duel his brother in board game matches, and solve cases on mystery dramas before his older brother. For a while Brody would win, but eventually Aldric became an equal for his older brother and on more then a few occasions would succeed in beating his brother.
It wasn't just a phase either, after a year or so, Brody and Aldric where still at it, and eventually Aldric would try his hand at stumping and challenging his brother. Little did they know that their parents where relieved that for once the two boys had found a non harmful way to get under each others skins... To this day they still get at each other, granted not with riddles or challenges, but with other things still.
Despite this constant bickering, (which would grow into a sort of healthy, albeit childish, competition between the brothers as they got older) Aldric still adored his older sister, Aya.
After Returning home from their Vacation and when Aldric turned 13 years old, he moved again to a full grade ahead. Putting him now two full grades ahead of his age, of course his older brother was also well ahead of his group and by this time was already nearly out of college.
Once more Aldric was forced to get used to another new group of people but now he was beyond the point of caring he was already a well known name in school from both his good deeds in returning the wallet and the bag, but also being noted as being the schools second brightest next only to his brother who had already gone on to college.
His grades remained high unless he was one a "case" which was basically him going though his mothers cases when she would return from work. Eventually though, he got to become more involved in one of his mothers cases during a short break in school...
Though he did have to work harder then normal now sense he wasn't just juggling school, but his self defense lessons, and then him snooping through his mothers cases. It did exhaust him at times.
The case of the unsuccessful Businessman
In between this time he dealt with another small crime, a businessman came to his mother saying that his brief case had been stolen just before he went in for a interview to a well paying job.
A young 14 year old Aldric was extremely interested, a crime that dealt with a opponent, his mother allowed him to come with her even if only to watch, but he was still very happy to come along.
It was immediately clear to most anyone that the brief case was stolen because of the computation his mother was questioning the businessman about the brief case, but Aldric was there noticing how he wouldn't keep eye contact for more then a few seconds at a time, and that the only times he did look completely away was when he was specifically questioned about the cases contents.
He was hiding something, what exactly, Aldric didn't know yet.
After a while of this questioning they left and on there way to the person that was about to hire the businessman who had originally owned the brief case, Aldric told his mother about knowing the lies. The "would be" employer now had hired another person. When they questioned that newly hired person Aldric could tell his honesty around every thing except when they simply asked if he had stolen the case, at which his response was, simply 'What suit case?' with a always turning to check on the computer screen which never changed.
Aldric then knowing that the second man had stolen it, but had no solid proof. His mother couldn't do anything without a search warrant, but Aldric was a little more direct and went to the mans house while she got the warrant. He would find the case hidden in a tote outside to be sent to the local dump. At which point he opened the case to view it's contents which now explained why the first man had been trying to lie about them, cheat cards for his Resume' which would have been used to basically cheat the test. He turned in the evidence proving the first man surprisingly guilty. But what still bit at him was how he knew the answers before going in for the interview.
This didn't remain unknown to him for long, he looked at what was right in front of every one the whole time:
Cheat cards, if he was using them he either had a very bad memory or was obviously to dumb to complete the test by himself and therefore to create the answers, someone else had done it for him. Someone who already worked there he had asked then to see as many of the most recent resumes that where on record. It took about two hours to sift through all of them but when he did he noticed one resume' that had almost exactly all the same answers on it, obviously similar he could assume that he was the one who really created the fake.
He ended up being correct and the other man who had supplied the fake cards was fired, no extreme crime was commented but fraud, and of coarse lies. But things had been fixed now and things would run smoothly.
Detective:
Aldric Cibre
Finally at 16 thanks to him being ahead two full years in school, Aldric was out of his school. He had the mind of a scientist, physicist, psychologist, or a doctor, all of which he was well versed in and studied already in his own time, instead though for college, he chose a school teaching for private investigators.
After two short an rather un-eventful years he finally got out and after a short stint of being a nobody, Whom Nobody hired. His mother; who was still on the police force at this time, decided to help him out, Often giving him the chance to come along on her cases, and from time to time referring other officers to him when they needed a hand. She also gave him basic shooting lessons and her old stun blaster for self defense in case he would run into trouble on one of his cases. This Jump started his career as a Detective, but he never considered himself a Private Investigator, sense Police didn't consult P.Is. Instead he called himself a Free Lance detective, Hired out to all.
21 --- 30
It wasn't long before he was fully out on his own, he left his parents apartment, in favor of his own. And had a brief time where he and his Older brother roomed with each other. Eventually his brother found his way up the chain of his own more official line of work, quickly finding his way in the upper ranks of Republic Intelligence, and nearing the top on the command.
Other Apartment mates would come and go for Aldric, but it was in this time period that would start Aldric's true career, and it got off quickly.
Aldric Cibre
P.I.
The Free Lance Detective
Aldric often got jobs from all sorts of clientele, from the weird cat lady up stairs, who had lost her pet, all the way up to police looking for more aid in a murder case.
(yes cats and dogs are in star wars)
He quickly found himself hired out for oddball tasks as well, "Find my stolen ear ring, find my pet, find out that companies secret, what's my grandmothers secret cookie recipe, next weeks lottery number."
Aldric enjoyed the mess of work that was coming into him, it kept him on his toes, but he found that he started to get a bit stir crazy on those times where work went slow... as a result he started to actually try to find work in other places during those down times, looking in news papers and on the holo-news-net.
Murder: Under The City....
It was at the time he was 23 years old that the police would call on his help for a vile murder that took place in the depths of Coruscant, the under city.
Aldric was shown the body which was in he under city, he was brought to the sewers to see the body only a few hours old by the decompose rate, the body was still warm.
He saw one thing many didn't dirt in the treads of the boots, there is little dirt on Coruscant, that narrowed the number of places the man could have been down by a lot already. He returned to the body it self seeing no sign of struggle, only one blunt blow to the back of the head, he checked the wound finding a trace if iron rust compound, An iron pipe had been used bigger pipe then The ones ling around the sewer judging by the size of the wound.
They had told him that they where going to get an impression of the wound made to find the weapon that matched it, he didn't care he already knew what it was and told them the rough size of the pipe and told them the man wasn't killed in the sewers, he then took a sample of the dirt in the shoes, handing the sample off to one of the Cops to have analyzed something yet again they didn't think to do. However the low amount of areas that have are each different so it would be traceable to it's location.
The body was surrounded by other foot prints left by the sewage water, he made a Mental note of the type of shoe and then took the size, then looking at the steps length was able to tell the walking speed and distance, being just a little taller and faster the Aldric was. Not only that did he deduct from the foot print but also the footprint was to fresh whoever the murderer was he was still in the sewer, among the group talking with him.
He told those things to the officers as well and then looked and mentally removed any one shorter then he was from the crowd, then looked for those with a similar walking pace to the one he described, without seeing the mans shoes he asked one man to remove his shoes, the man panicked and ran, which was as bad as admitting he had done it. The police hadn't under stood what Aldric had done, Aldric annoyed started after the man he remembered the man ran slightly faster then himself, so he recalled a map of the sewer to himself remembering the different ways to get out and to the same locations, using that mental math, map, and shortcuts he got to the exit first, but only barely, the man didn't want to give up without a fight which Aldric was not going to be able to give him well, except he saw his opportunity a pipe was about to break already from age, all he needed to do was spring it, the man attempted to hit Aldric and he dodged making the man hit is fist against a wall, Aldric used that distraction to remove his belt and tie the man to the pipe and prying the pipe, the sewage pour out every where, but on the murderer mostly, the cops got there in time to see the mess, but they caught there man, the case was easy, and the Job was done.
A lesson in:
How to fake your own death 101.
Around the time he turned 29 he was intrigued an another case that once more the police where in over there heads with.
A man who had been sentenced to death and executed by lethal injection, somehow came back from the grave. Aldric Cibre was called on to help...
Upon arriving Aldric first checked the grave site where the coffin had been dug up for it's investigation, He noticed one thing within seconds of looking at it, the locks on the coffin had not been broken nor had they ever even been locked. That told him right away that this was not a single man job, yet at least one other man had been a part of it.
For the time being however he had no other evidence supporting a who. So for now he returned to the original case of why the man was sentenced to death. He found that he had murdered an important Military commander. Also upon looking the case up further he found that the Murderer was a man who owned a decent sized business which made enough money to go into hiding for a good long time without trouble or worrying about running out of money.
This alone struck Aldric as odd, in his experience those with power rarely got there own hands dirty. There was something more behind this that Aldric wasn't seeing yet, until he found out he had only been in custody for about two weeks before being sentenced to death. That was not normal to be sentenced to each it took the courts at least a month some times longer, to agree on a verdict and penalty such as that for normal sentences, let alone a death sentence.
Aldric then could safely say that somewhere there was a loose end. Either in the original case, or now, or both. If so that would mean that the Murderer had been setting this whole thing up the entire time. With that and the fact that there was no lock on the coffin in the first place both pointed to someone who was apparently not on the wrong side of the law was helping him.
With that note Aldric decided to take a look into the Injector and see why it had not killed the man. He talked to the Doctor in who had administrated the supposed lethal injections and when the Doctor was asked about it was taken by surprise he had not expected that. With his panic he grabbed the Injector and attempted an escape, only to be stopped by the fact that Aldric knew that the inspector had officers stationed just outside the door.
Aldric fallowed at a walking pace and came up behind the would be escapee and retrieved the Injector and sent it off to be tested the results of which proved his suspicions of the Injector being originally filled with a Drug that Simulates death called 'Girogno Idokane'. He had purchased the drug in the black market in the under city of Coruscant from a gang that had helped a Hutt named Hebba based out of Tatooine, In return Hebba gave small amounts of funding and some supplies including the drug mentioned. This was how The murderer managed to get out of jail and into the coffin which was one of the last pieces to the final picture. They then questioned the former Doctor and whom admitted to assisting the Murderer live for two reasons: first being that he thought that killing the man was cruel even though he the other had been a murderer, The second reason was because he was getting enough money to retire if he so desired. In an attempt to shave a little off his own sentence, the doctor told them of a third man who had buried the murderer and also was bribed as well to keep the case without a lock.
('Girogno Idokane' Is not real, nor is it canon in the star wars universe, something I made up for this story)
With the Doctor's statement the Police arrested the other man as well who also admitted to the crime having nothing to gain by lying.
With this Aldric knew that the Murderer would be attempting to flee Coruscant to some other planet he would be safer on. But Aldric also knew he was smart enough not to do things to hastily, after all he had obviously planned every thing else so far why stop and show all his cards there? With this Aldric knew that the murderer would wait until those looking for him both on and off world would wait until his trails and leads either, Ran colds or to dead ends, which they would if he wasn't there to be at the other end.
And by the looks of it Aldric would have to wait at least a week for the police to calm down a little on there search. And that would be when the Murderer would attempt his escape.
While Aldric waited for the week he was looking the different flights that where leaving Coruscant finding only one leaving to a non Republic world. But is the Murderer had really planned ahead he wouldn't choose that one. He would go for one that went to a Republic planet maybe once or twice, lie low for a little bit there, then leave for a non Republic planet. That also narrowed down to only one space port with a flight that lead to a planet where he could also get a ride off of that planet as well that lead to a non Republic world. That was the one he would go for and the one Aldric would choose to stop.
Which is exactly what happened. As if on Queue all traces had ended and come to there own halts at which point Aldric had picked up where he left off and the police had listened to Aldric who had told them to Quietly stop the shuttle and to set a small unelaborate trap there. They did and the Murderer was caught cold on his tracks. Aldric had once more solved an odd case and was again thanked for his work.
A suicidal
Murder
A man was suspected to have commented suicide, without reason. Some where speculating that he had been involved with the wrong people or had somehow been black mailed into suicide, the police where also on this track. Aldric's mother decided to assist in this case sense the police had asked for her assistance, she also told herself it would be time to retire after this case was over. She decided to bring Aldric with her as well, just in an attempt to see how good her son actually was at solving all these cases he had. Little did Aldric nor his mother know, that Aldric's older brother Brody was also paying attention.
So when she knocked on Aldric's door and asked for his help on the case Aldric quickly accepted the offer and on their trip to the dead mans apartment she told him it was both her last case, and a way to see how quick he worked, Aldric felt like it was his job to show off on this one.
When they arrived Aldric quickly took in the room as It was. The Rodian Sat on the couch with a blaster burn to the right side of his head, but Aldric quickly recognized a pattern in the apartment. As his mother questioned the officer in charge about what they had discovered and what precautions had been made to insure the best evidence, Aldric wandered the room before finally declaring that the Rodian hadn't killed himself. When he asked what evidence there was of this, Aldric quickly ranted off his series of clues, the Gun was gone, and the entire room had a pattern that proved the Rodian was left handed, which was at conflict with the gun shot.
His mother nearly glowed when she found out where Aldric was going with this bit of clues.
Aldric walked over to a window and showed how it had somehow been opened from the outside as there was evidence of forced entry. When Aldric leaned out the window though, he saw that climbing up this far, nearly 200 stories, was nearly impossible. Then Aldric looked up the window and saw that it wouldn't have been much of a stretch to climb down from one of the above rooms.
Aldric then went on to determine how the would have escaped the room without being seen, climbing up wouldn't have been likely Aldric thought as he knew the man was still in the building somewhere, sense the entire building had been on lock down sense the blast sensors detected the blaster shot. So Aldric look at all other escape routs before seeing the over head ventilation duct was in backward. Aldric removed it and climbed onto a chair to see that there was a dent similar to a knee in the duct where someone had been crawling.
Aldric smiled satisfied he was on the right track. Aldric climbed up into it and followed the trail of dents, some where not far from each other, and others where spaced out a bit, but it was still like a trail of bread crumbs to Aldric. He eventually followed them right to the outside wall of the building, where the cover was left open and When Aldric crawled up to the edge he saw it lead straight outside the building to the top of another building that was adjoining to the one he was in, what was more Aldric was right behind the man who had a pistol in his hand and was running across the roof top to the other building hoping to make a clean get away.
By this time the other police had found out where the ventilation duct let out and had followed and where now on their way. Aldric considered his math and decided he didn't have time to wait for the rest of the police to show up. Instead Aldric Jumped out and onto the roof top where he then sprinted to catch up, but he was quickly noticed and then shot at.
Aldric dove for cover behind a garbage receptor, and before he could even get his stun blaster out of his coat pocket something from behind Aldric came from out of no where and got the stun shot out first and blasted the criminal. When Aldric looked around he saw his Older brother getting off of a personal air bus, and three other members of Republic Intelligence wearing their suits already apprehending the unconscious man and loading him into the back of the air bus. Brody smiled and informed Aldric that he had recently got a promotion to the top of his possible chain. Aldric and him spat off some sour words at each other, Aldric basically trying to figure out what was going on, and why Republic Intelligence wanted a simple murderer. All Aldric got for his trouble was an "It's classified" and then a small device pulled out of his older brothers coat pocket, it was tossed into the air and Aldric caught it with barely a glance before Brody walked off twirling his Cane, which was something new to his attire Aldric noticed.
Aldric took a closer look at the new device in his hand before completely leaving Brody shouted back "consider it payment for catching the crook little brother! Hate for you to think it was a gift."
Aldric Grumbled a bit, still unhappy that his brother got in his way like this, and when Aldric got back home he found out what it was his new device did, and dubbed it as a simple Universal Key, that he put in his pocket. Not then realizing how handy it would become in the future.
Only recently, he found himself waking up in his apartment, finding it changed. It was late in the night, all of the lights being down as he looked around the bedroom first, and continued exploring the rest of the apartment, each room seeming to be from an Era long ago. He recognized it to be something of the Old Republic Era, well before the battle of Naboo. At first he thought himself dreaming, but soon enough discovered other wise, only before the person living in the apartment all of those years ago would wake from the other bedroom, finding Aldric in their Apartment.
Needless to say he no longer lives in that apartment...
