The first thing Obi-Wan experienced when everything around him changed was disorientation. Both in a physical sense as all of his senses told him everything around him had changed. It was followed shortly after by a painful headache as the force around him seemed to shift, telling him something was drastically wrong as well. He looked around, but saw nothing as he glanced out of his cockpit, looking to R4 in the Astromech Socket and then at all of his scanners. The initial readout told him he was no longer with the rest of his fleet. Arching his brow he looked out the cockpit again, adjusting his headset a little before he spoke finally, trying to ease his headache at the same time.
"R4... did i black out? Did we go through hyper-" He paused, seeing that his Hyperspace ring attachment to his Starfighter had been missing. "No... that's not it." He admitted as he looked around with a sigh. He let his head fall into his palm, his fingers beginning to massage at his temples for a moment as he was trying to figure everything out. He leaned forward, checking his computer again before it was telling him that he was at what appeared to Resemble Alderaan, though not the Alderaan he was used to. "What in the name of blazes?" He muttered to himself, adjusting his coordinates to head out in that direction... perhaps thinking that his computer was wrong.
Not more then a half hour later he was coming into range of the planet, seeing it right where it was supposed to be... which meant some how he had traveled all the way from the Open Circle fleet in the outer rim sieges, back to the core, and seemed to miss it all. "Something isn't adding up..." He commented, hearing a whistle of confused agreement from R4 on the outside of his cockpit through his headset. He adjusted the Starfighter for reentry and began directing it to the planet, hoping something was wrong. When he got closer, one thing was becoming clear... it wasn't Alderaan... at least not the way he had left it last time he had had the honor of visiting. It was smaller in some rights, and everything appeared to be hundreds of years older then anything he had on his person... but it was all new.
His expression was wide eyed and shocked as he looked around, heading for the surface, deciding to land on the outskirts of Aldera City. After a few minutes of looking around he shut his eyes, finally seeming to have adjusted physically, mentally and through the force alike. "Something is very wrong..." He admitted, pressing a key to open his cockpit, hearing the hiss as he stood and began stepping off of the fighter. He pulled his Robes around him closer, pulling the hood onto his head before he was walking toward the town. "Stay with the ship R4, keep it warm and ready in case i call." He called over his shoulder, walking toward the town again...

It was late in the day and the sun was starting to make its decent behind the horizon. The edge of the capital city of Alderaan, Aldera, was the ideal place to watch the sun set. Blessed with a moment of galactic peace, Emmi took a break from her mission to admire the sight. The mountains that surrounded the city were white with snow and held the pigment from the sky like a canvas. Light pinks and yellows reflected off of the blue and purple snowy mountains making the mountains as colorful as the flora from the planet. Emmi heaved a happy sigh as she pulled her eyes away from the scene. Sitting beside her was a cloth bag that was nearly filled with T'iil plant and bits of Hydenock bark, leaves, wood, and seedlings. She had been careful to wrap the Hydenock wood and bark before placing it into the bag as all parts of the tree had a nasty habit of staining everything red. Her mission had been to gather the T’iil plant but she was not going to give up the opportunity to gather Hydenock as well. T’iil was used to ease pain, especially sore throats and coughs, and the other Jedi Healers had sent Emmi to nearby Alderaan to fetch some. The Jedi artisans would appreciate the Hydenock, though, since it could be used as a dye or to make paint.
Smiling, Emmi gathered up her bag full of leafy treasures and heaved it onto her shoulders. It would take only a few moment for her to walk from the designated green space on the edge of the city to her transport. As much as she may want to stay and lay in the grass the young Jedi Padawan knew that she had to leave. Dantooine was not far but her job was to bring the plants back to the temple. As she made her way away from the grove of Hydenock trees, something caught her eye. In the sky, cutting across the pink sky was some kind of ship. While Emmi's knowledge of mechanics and ship types was limited she knew enough to know that what she currently saw was unlike anything Republic or Imperial. Not sure whether to believe her eyes or not, Emmi blinked and watched the craft land not far from where she was.
"Strange..." Something was off. Something felt off, and there was no way her intuition would allow for her to not investigate. With more urgency, Emmi hoisted the pack further onto her back and made her way towards the site of the landing. She reached out with the Force to get a sense of what was going on. Whatever it was didn't feel dangerous. No, Emmi wasn't afraid of the thing, her feelings gave her no reason to be. However, something felt wrong. Very wrong. Through the trees she saw a cloaked figure make his way towards town. Her brow furrowed as she imagined all the different reasons for why she felt so uneasy. Nothing came to mind. Emmi brushed her hand against her lightsaber, as if to make sure it was there. Slowly, and with an aura of soothing calm she approached the figure as their paths converged. "Good afternoon," Emmi greeted the man with a warm smile. She paused, not sure how to question the man discretely. "I'm sorry to bother you but...are you lost? Is there something I could help you with?" Now that Emmi was closer to him she could sense his unease. Something was wrong but it wasn't him...

He was only walking for a short while now before his senses had stopped throbbing inside his head. Despite that though they were still trying to adjust to whatever change had hit Obi-Wan, and so it wasn't until almost until he was right in front of this girl that he realized she was walking in front of him, and more then that she was force sensitive it seemed. He had to wince a little at the sense that hit his head when he felt her force signature before he was turning it into a smile, hearing her question. If she was a force sensitive, perhaps she was a Jedi... in fact on closer inspection he noticed the robes and the Lightsaber... both of which supported that idea. Maybe she could help him then.
"I believe i am." Obi-Wan admitted with a small smile in her direction, lowering hid hood now show as to show him his face, hoping that would ease any tension that she might have. He nodded his head down toward her lightsaber a little. "You're a Jedi like me, perhaps you can tell me if something happened recently?" He asked, moving his robe out of the way to reveal both his futuristic armor and the Lightsaber at his side. "You see, i am a General in the Republic, and i was just fighting a battle against the Separatists... but i was in the outer rim last i checked." He explained the situation lightly to her. "As you can see there is no way my starfighter could have made it out here without Hyperspace..." He pointed back to his fighter that was missing it's Hyperspace ring; not that she would know what such a device was anyway as it was also from the future.
He looked back to her, a confused look on his own face as he was trying to make sense of it all still. "Would you happen to know if something... odd happened within the past few hours?" He asked, before he added a suggestion. "A wormhole or something perhaps?" He asked, tilting his head a little as he pulled his robes tightly around himself again.

Emmi was not quite prepared for the information overload that was thrown at her by the strange man. Once he pulled back his hood, she could see he was in his 30's and looked as strange as the ship he flew in on. He wore what might have been Jedi robes beneath armor. The shape of the armor, the symbols, everything looked wrong. Emmi tried to hide how much she was scrutinizing him but found it difficult. Finally, her eyes landed on the lightsaber on his belt. Strange. She had not been told of another Jedi on the planet, or at least not anywhere near where she was supposed to be. What was he doing here? She wasn't left to guess as he launched into an explanation of who he was... sort of.
"You see, i am a General in the Republic, and i was just fighting a battle against the Separatists... but i was in the outer rim last i checked. As you can see there is no way my starfighter could have made it out here without Hyperspace...Would you happen to know if something... odd happened within the past few hours? A wormhole or something perhaps?"" Emmi peered past him at the ship several meters behind him. Even up close it looked strange. Yes, this man was a Jedi-- probably a Knight or Master but beyond that nothing else he said made any sort of sense. In her mind she attempted to organize her own questions for him and to come up with some kind of answer for him. The last thing she wanted was to overwhelm him more. Taking a deep, calming breath she looked back at him with an equally confused look.
She opened her mouth to speak but then closed it, repeating this motion twice before she found the right words. "I'm sorry, but I am afraid I don't understand. What are Separatists? And I don't mean to be rude, Master, but who are you? I do not recognize you from the temple at all..."

Obi-Wan watched her for a few moments, sighing lightly as it was becoming clear that she had no idea what he was talking about. He did have to admit he had gone on a bit of a rambling spree, and it wasn't quite like him; but then again he was still dealing with the last bits of his headache, followed by the continued confusion that he was dealing with related to the disorientation he was experiencing. Still the things she was saying only confused him further in return, as she seemed to know nothing about the Separatists and the war that had gone one so far... He didn't mean this in a rude way but he was prone to believe she was living in a rock...
Still she had a fair point and he nodded apologetically with a slight bow. "Apologies, i am Master Obi-Wan Kenobi..." He clarified before he was looking back down to her again. "And who are you?" He asked, his head clearing lightly now. He waited long enough for her to answer and introduce herself before he decided to explain the situation further.
"I am sorry, but the Separatists, you don't know what they are? Perhaps you know them by the Confederate of Independent systems?" He suggested with a tilt of his head. "There is a war going on right now that they are involved with." Obi-Wan explained, thinking that was enough that even the most un-advanced worlds and people from them would be able to understand those concepts... surely she was aware of the war if she was on an advanced world as much as Alderaan was.

(How did you get more posts than me already?!?)
The look that he gave her when she asked about the Separatists made her convinced that the two of them were equally confused. Emmi kept eye contact with him as he tried to think of what to say. As a younger woman she might have stumbled over her speech or second guessed herself. This man was a knight after all, and she was still a padawan. Now she knew better. She wasn't the one msitaken here, he was even if he didn't think so. Emmi broke eye contact long enough to look him over one last time. She sensed he was in some kind of pain and reached into a pouch on her belt, pulling out what seemed to be tea leaves.
"Apologies, i am Master Obi-Wan Kenobi...And who are you?" "My name is Emmi Daneb, Jedi Padawan... I'm training to be a healer," she added the last part sheepishly and with a nervous smile. From a side pouch of the backpack that held the T'iil plant she extracted a small metal water bottle which she dropped the tea leaves into. The next thing she said shocked her and it showed on her face. Firstly, calling the Separatists by their other name did not help her remember them. They were still foreign to her. However, what was more alarming was the fact that this Jedi, the one that claimed to be a general, seemed to think that they were in the middle of a war. Emmi's brow furrowed as she reached out with her feelings, wondering if the Jedi had hit his head or had some other reason to be saying strange things. Feeling nothing she held out the tin of tea. He was going to need it.
"Please, drink," she asked the older Jedi. It wasn't a command, Emmi was too timid to do that, but it was as firm a suggestion as she could muster. The leaves she had put in the water were often used to ease tension headaches or to sooth. Emmi liked to keep the herb on hand as it often came in handy. "Master Kenobi, please don't take this the wrong way but I think you are very confused. There are no Separatists, no Confederate of Independent systems, no war. The Republic and the Sith have called a truce. It is a time of peace." She paused to let it sink in and watched him closely before continuing. "Are you sure you didn't hit your head? Is there someone at the Jedi Temple I can call for you?"

(O.O.C --- Did you not think i would out post you?)
He watched her as his first question hung in the air only for a moment before she was answering him, explaining her name and the path she seemed to be trying to follow in the order. Obi-Wan smiled just a little at the idea of her being a healer. Perhaps that was why she didn't know what he was talking about? She hadn't seen any part of the war first hand? Still it didn't add up... surely she would have at least heard other Jedi... perhaps treated some that were a part of the war. After a moment she was turning to face him again, handing up a tin of water that she had added some sort of mixture to. Hearing she was a healer settled any nerves he would have about drinking the water; plus when you factored in the fact he had a headache still... he didn't see any reason to argue with her, smiling lightly as he nodded and took the tin.
He sniffed it for a moment, but sensed no foul play from her before he took a sip, almost instantly feeling it beginning to ease his head pain as it in addition to his own force healing managed to ease the pain. He sighed lightly, running his hand through his hair before he was closing the tin back and returning it to her after a moment. She continued, explaining a few more things... the biggest thing that stood out being the fact that she mentioned Sith and Jedi in the middle of a seize fire. Obi-Wan paused for a moment, stunned at what she had said...
How was any of that possible? He stood up a little straighter, her explanation seeming to make perfect sense but at the same time seeming impossible. The Sith hadn't been around in great number for Hundreds of years... the last Truce between them being nearly 4000 years before he was even born. The planet and all of the technology seemed much older then anything he had seen as well, which only supported what she was saying. "Oh i have got a very bad feeling about this..." He commented quietly as he looked around again, shaking his head a little.
"That's not possible, it's simply not possible." He commented again, looking down to her. "The cold war..." He said quietly, recognizing the timeline from his studies but not understanding how in the name of blazes he had ended up here... Finally he looked down to her, an apologetic look on his face. "Do you have a computer i can access?" He asked hopefully, thinking perhaps he could find answers there.

(>_> not forever but just in general...)
Emmi watched with mild amusement as he tested the water for poison. If only he knew who he was dealing with. The idea that someone found her a threat was almost enough to make the padawan laugh. Still, she was glad he trusted her enough to drink the tea. It seemed to make him feel better as he appeared to be more relaxed. However, he still seemed confused and quite sure that there was something wrong with what she was telling him. Emmi wasn't entirely sure how to deal with that. Mental illness wasn't something she had studied in depth. But mental illness did not seem to fit with what was going on. Again, that conclusion did not feel right. As she explained things to him his worry seemed to grow. As if something was slowly adding together in the back of his mind. "Oh i have got a very bad feeling about this..." As do I, Master. But why?
"That's not possible, it's simply not possible. The cold war..." The look Obi-Wan had on his face sent a chill up Emmi's spine, causing her to lean away from him. Now she was the one left wondering if he'd been living under a rock. Was he surprised about the truce? The sith? "Y-yes, the Cold War," she nodded. "What other war is there?" He then asked about a computer which snapped her out of her own fog of confusion. She did not have one on her person at that very moment, but the transport and the Jedi Temple would have one. Perhaps they could clear everything up soon. "I do not have one with me right now, Master Kenobi," she answered. "But the transport I came on should have one. If you'd like I can take you there...or I can take you to the temple on Dantooine."

He looked to her for a moment, his blue grey eyes fixed on her as she seemed to rear backwards lightly in fear of upsetting him, or perhaps telling him what was wrong with the whole situation. She was quick to explain that she had a computer on board her transport, Obi-Wan looking up from her and back to the city behind her with a nod. "Thank you." He replied, pulling his robes around him a bit tighter as he began walking behind her, letting her lead the way to the Transport.
It didn't take them very long to walk from where they had been speaking and to the City, finding the docking pad where the Jedi Transport was waiting for them. It was definitely not something Obi-Wan Recognized from his Era... only sending a chill down his spine as it continued to add detail to the one possible idea that was making sense to him. That one impossible idea.
He followed her up the ramp, letting her lead him up to one of the computers before he moved to sit down at the seat connected to it. He began pressing in a few keys, fortunately finding it not too difficult to navigate despite it's unfamiliar design. He was able to navigate it long enough to find something that told him the date, realizing what he had until then been fearing. He had somehow managed to end up with in four thousand years prior to anything he knew... He leaned back in the seat a bit, a heavy sigh exiting his breath as his hand reached up and found his chin only a moment before he was placing the whole of his face in the palm of his hand.
He shook his head a little, after a moment regaining some form of composure before he was checking for scans of the area around the planet... specifically checking the area where he had found himself not long ago. There was nothing there that seemed out of place... no temporal shifts or instabilities... no wormholes... nothing that seemed to indicate any possible way he could have been snatched from his own time and to this point. He looked back up to Emmi then... "You mentioned Dantooine... i need to meet with the council..." He commented with a sigh... wondering if the Jedi council of this time would have any closure for the problem he was facing.

Emmi smiled when he thanked her and she silently took up the lead. The two traveled in silence for some time. Emmi's mind buzzed with confusion. She could think of no coherent questions to ask the man and even if she had any she wasn't entirely sure that he would know how to answer them. The transport that was waiting to bring Emmi back to the Jedi Temple on Dantooine was just inside of the city at a docking pad. Emmi ignored the confused pilot to directed Obi-Wan to one of the computers. While he poked around the computer she could not only feel but see the turmoil that Obi-Wan experienced. Something was wrong, very wrong. He'd realized something but Emmi had no idea what it could possibly be.
"He gonna be alright?" the pilot asked, gesturing to Obi-Wan. "Yes," Emmi answered quickly to keep the pilot from prying too much. Quickly she explained to him that they were to take Obi-Wan and his starfighter back to Dantooine with them. Unsatisfied with the lack of an explanation, the pilot set to work navigating the ship towards where Emmi had said that the starfighter would be. From there her attention turned to the distraught Obi-Wan. She knelt down beside where he was sitting. "You mentioned Dantooine... i need to meet with the council..." "Yes, we will pick up your ship and go straight there," she assured him. "Once we are off the planet I will reach out to the council and request a meeting with them." She paused, staring up at the older man with her big green eyes that were filled with concern. He had to know that she knew how upset he was. "Master Kenobi, are you alright? Is there anything else I can do for you?"

By this time Emmi had kneeled down next to him, looking up to him with wide eyes that appeared to be as confused as he was. If only she knew what he was going through, but after putting all the pieces together he decided it was best not to say anything else in regards to the situation until he had consulted the council... or at least the council of this time. He sighed a bit, shaking his head before he was reaching forward and powering the monitor offline, then stood with a shake of his head and a smile in her direction.
"No, though i thank you for being so hospitable." He replied with a small nod, folding his arms across his chest and tucking them away inside the sleeves. "If you could point me to the bunks though... i would like to rest for the trip to... Dantooine." He said, that last bit being a little unfamiliar to him. He had almost said Coruscant, but from the information he had just looked up, the temple on Coruscant didn't even seem to exist. That wasn't exactly congruent with the information of this time that he knew of, but perhaps he would be able to get to the bottom of all of this soon enough.
(O.O.C --- END)
