Overall Appearance: Tall, dark and handsome are what he can be called at first glance. But of course, that isn't all. For a hard researcher and devoted his life to study, Daniel is a very fit man as any Jedi Knight should be. He trains daily to keep up his form, doing this ritual in his perfectly detailed schedule. But other than his physical training and well personal hygiene, Daniel doesn't really care much for how he looks; even with the charming features he has. For a man who spends most of his life around books and researches, one can easily guess he doesn't have a way with hair combs. His dark brown hair is always messy, pointing at every direction. He often supports a bit of facial hair, shaving whenever he remembers of it. His time is precious, so he doesn't have a lot of time for such things.
Daniel often wears his neatly clean Jedi robes, but he can just dump it somewhere in the library, when his study gets over his head. Comfortable and form fitting cloths are his choices. His lightsaber is always safely latched at his belt. It's not a surprise to see Daniel in a serious, even dead-pan, yet thoughtful posture and facial expression. He weights possibilities and thinks over things throughly in every chance, which his face openly shows. He doesn't even try to hide that.
PERSONALITYDaniel is somewhat of a man of mystery. He isn't exactly open for others, he prefers to keep his personal affairs to himself and no one else. He won't reveal much of what he truly thinks. He often leaves people wonder about what he likes and what he truly enjoys. He rarely allows anyone close to his heart. But that is mostly because he dedicates his life to study and research. He believes the power comes from knowledge, thus he must collect as much as he can. He is determined and well focused. Many times Daniel loses sense and track of time because of this habit of his. Once he's sucked up in his readings, his concentration is solid. But that doesn't mean he gets vulnerable during his reading time. His instincts are powerful and his reflexes are quick.
Being deadpan is another obvious trait of his. Well, most of the time anyway. He doesn't show a lot of emotions and he is always observing. When he shows any other expressions, it is truthful. But he has those piercing blue eyes, which almost burns into people's souls. His relations with people are usually from a distance. He may not have easy and regular reactions to most things. So Daniel can be called a bit of weird in many aspects. It may be cause he spends more time around books than other people. But at least, having a padawan helps him to improve with relationships. So it is a mutual gain. Yet in reality he is sweet and he is certainly easy to count on.
Once these cold layers of him are passed, Daniel is kind and noble. Nothing less can be expected from a dedicated man who gave his life into studying, after all. He draws the portrait of a good man, who works for a greater good among the Jedi Order. He is helpful, when others ask him for a hand. But of course, this is another layer to this man. Beneath this layer of noble knight with noble purposes, there lies a man who has a strong fascination for power. Unlocking further power in human body is the main reason of his studies, after all. Good intentions or not, Daniel isn't immune to the effects of more power. He is also very passionate about what he believes in.
Other than all these layers, Daniel is a brave man. He isn't afraid of being dragged into a battle, even if it's not his main profession. He may not be the greatest warrior, but he certainly has a variety of skills in battle ground. But wielding a weapon isn't the only way to show bravery. Sometimes it's making decisions and accepting new things. He's smart, quick-thinking and very calculated. Logic comes before emotions for him.
If we have to summarise him up, we can say Daniel is sweet, a complete nerd, trustable, yet with a burning passion for unlocking the ways to more power.

Daniel's story is a happy and successful one in short. he was born into a wealthy family. His parents, Naomi and Uriel Dumah are both working for the senate and they are well respected figures in Coruscant. They live in a rich estate and have many servants working for their household. They were able to give their only child everything he ever needed. But Daniel was always a good son, mostly wanting to improve himself and study to get a better understanding at everything. So his parents granted him a full wide library, where he spent his best childhood days at. He didn't have many friends, but he had his books. His teachers became more of friend figures for him in his journey of letters.
Schooling was a joy for him. Daniel's grades were always perfect and he had a wide open future ahead, full of succession and possibilities. It was his parents' idea for him to join up to the Jedi Order. They believed it would gain further positive influence for their household, if their only son became a knight of the republic. So Daniel's fate was decided, as he was handed to the Jedi Temple at a young age after a few trials and confirmation of him having a link to the Force. He didn't refuse what was decided for him. In fact, Daniel was happy to be able to use the library which was only for Jedi use.
His training started and his abilities were discovered, especially his strong sense of Force. He proved to be good with physical lessons, but as expected he preferred to spend more time in the library. With his new interest in using Force, Daniel started to search on this topic; which would become his main focus soon. It fascinated him how human body could connect to such a strong wave of energy. That was why he needed to learn how it worked. He needed to understand it in every way. His search over biology wasn't enough in the end. He practised daily to get a grip on his Force skills. He wanted to perfect it.
He didn't make many friends, but his instructors were close to him; always interested in his thoughts and what he was studying on. His parents kept visiting him once a month. They were happy with the progress.
Eventually, Daniel became a padawan for a Guardian named Vik. She was a hot-headed Jedi Knight and chose Daniel, so he would break off his shell. While it wasn't much to his preference to serve under a Guardian instead of a Consular, he didn't complain. His most experiences with battlefield happened during his time with Vik. And it actually helped Daniel to be more outgoing indeed. He was impressed with Vik's skills and he wanted to learn more. Soon he was digging through the Jedi library to unleash more of this power.
Vik became as an elder sister figure for Daniel in no time. The duo had good and bad times together. But it had to end one day, as Vik had nothing more to teach Daniel. Getting his full knighthood, Daniel returned to the Jedi Temple to dedicate himself for researching. While he would read and test anything he was curious of, he was mostly focused on energy and power.
In later years, he vouched for getting a padawan under his care. Duccia, a passionate Twi'lek joined up with him. They shared a similar hunger for learning more. But their personalities were polar opposites. While Daniel was so reserved, Duccia was very straight forward and outgoing. She did a good job with assisting Daniel in his researches, always knew where to look at. As they spent further time together, Duccia became sexually attracted to Daniel. Her playful gestures and heavily hinted behaviours were simply ignored by Daniel. But it did not stop her and from then on, they had an interesting relationship going on. Daniel was allowing Duccia to be closer, but not as close as she desired it to be. A few times she tried to seduce him openly and only one time she was succeeded. Of course, that had to remain as a secret since such a thing was not considered as a proper thing in their ranks. While it never happened again, Duccia enjoyed reminding it in every private chance. Their years together were mostly spent in between books and old writings. They made a good duo. And their studies were always fruitful. It was unfortunate Duccia couldn't make it to knigthood. She was ambushed during a trip for a mission and her life was taken away. It was more than sad.
Daniel had to admit he missed Duccia's help and presence, he mourned for her loss. But he had to move on. Later on he decided to sign papers for another padawan to take under his care.

Lightsaber Description: The hilt is made of pure platinum; light, strong and expensive. At first glance it looks like a standard lightsaber with no extra designs. Almost nothing personal. But there is a small hidden section for placing small devices or notes inside. A very rare Viridian Crystal is used (thanks to his family wealth and sources), which gives the lightsaber a silvery green colour.
