Obi-Wan is an average height male of the Human race, whom many would consider to be a standard specimen. After he became a Knight, he kept a full beard and once he became a master he shortened his hair to a manageable level. He balances between his traditional Jedi robes, and Armor that was mandatory for the Jedi Generals during the time of the Clone wars.
Kenobi has the posture of a strong man, and the eyes, just beginning to get crows feet, of a man who has seen much and endured it all.
PERSONALITY
Obi-Wan has been called the perfect example of a Jedi Master. He is Humble, meek and patient (as one would have to be after training Anakin Skywalker). He wasn't always this way, as once he was more short tempered and impatient, though thanks to the careful tempering of his master; Qui-Gon Jinn, he outgrew that. In doing so though, he was forced both to grow up all at once, and lose one of the closest friends of his life. For a while he was dry, especially to his Padawan Anakin. Fortunately he and his Padawan did Bond and his sense of humor lightened again, Obi-Wan having a almost dry wit to it now.
He is also responsible, honest, and loyal to a fault, and though some people would list these as only positive traits for a man, and they are certainly commendable for a Jedi of his stature and reputation, he is also just as flawed as any other man in other ways. Most notably for Obi-Wan, it is the fact that sometimes he lets duty and loyalty to the Jedi Code prevent him from from taking required steps. There are very few things or people in the universe that would cause Kenobi to abandon the Jedi Order, though that isn't to say they do not exist. He has also proven on many an occasion that he is more then willing to put his own life on the line for even one life that he could save, depending on his skill and the force in order to save the life.
BACKGROUND

History:
Obi-Wan Kenobi was born on the planet Stewjon, and has a few fond memories of his brother, Owen. Since his being taken into the order he had returned there only a few times to see his family, but he made it a point to keep said visits to a minimum and certainly kept the Jedi Order in the dark about it.
While he was an initiate he grew to have a few friends, and an unsteady relationship with a young Jedi by the name of Siri Tachi. At first they butted heads, but he would eventually admit that he was quite fond of her. In those years as a Youngling Obi-Wan was quite competitive, something that didn't gain him many friends, and in fact gained him a rival in the clans. A rival that he was constantly trying to best until it became time for the Younglings to come together and attempt to impress masters to take them as Padawans. Obi-Wan during this time had caught the Eye of a Master by the name of Qui-Gon Jinn, but in the last duel (which he actually won) Qui-Gon turned him away, believing that Obi-Wan was potentially too aggressive.
It was then that he was sent to the Works section of the order, supposed to be doing mining work in the outer rim, feeling that he would likely never receive a Master. In a meeting of fate that must have been influenced by the force however, Obi-Wan once more ran into Qui-Gon Jinn, and through an impromptu mission proved that there was more to the young Jedi then met the eye. Qui-Gon then agreed to take Obi-Wan under his wing, and train him.
During a mission to Mandalore he would meet his second love interest. Satine Kraze. It was an extended mission during very turbulent times, in which Obi-Wan was forced to work with her and protect her from assassination attempts and various other event, all of which drew him close to her. He openly admitted to her, that had she asked him to, he would have left the Jedi Order to be with her instead. Obi-Wan would continue his training though as she sent him back to the order, knowing it was more important even if he didn't at the time.
Obi-Wan and Qui-Gon worked together from that point on, teaming up frequently with Siri Tachi, who was by this time a close friend, though he again continued to grow closer to her.
It was a mission to Naboo to settle a trade dispute that changed it all. It ended up being a trap in which he and his master were caught in, leading them to the planet's surface where they managed to get the Queen of Naboo off world and past the blockades. In a detour thanks to the Ship being damaged, they had to stop along the way to Tatooine where Qui-Gon managed to get them the parts they needed, and another passenger. Anakin Skywalker, who would later become Obi-Wan's Padawan. Once they managed to get back to Coruscant, Obi-Wan and Qui-Gon met with the council in regards to the boy's mysterious origins. The Council refused the training of the boy, but Qui-Gon stepped up himself, starting Obi-Wan off with surprise as he would now start his Jedi Trials. Before they had time to continue this though, Obi-Wan and Qui-Gon were re-dispatched to Naboo again to protect the Queen as she lead a risky offensive to liberate her people.
In the battles that ensued, Obi-Wan and Qui-Gon faced off against Darth Maul, the first of a long line of Sith Lords to rear their ugly heads. In the duel that followed, Qui-Gon was gutted while Obi-Wan was forced to watch helplessly, before he was barely able to best the Sith Lord in combat of his own, tricking him when he had Mual off his guard. Defeating the first of the Sith Lords on his own was a feat that gained him the Rank of Jedi Knight without having to take the Formal trials.
To respect his dying wish, Obi-Wan then took Anakin in as his own Padawan.
Obi-Wan's loss wasn't over yet though. He and Anakin took a number of Missions together, one of which Siri Tachi joined them in, herself dying in the battle afterwords, Obi-Wan having to watch her dye as well. The emotion of the loss almost drove him to the Dark Side, but he resisted the urge to exact revenge on the man who killed her... knowing that she wouldn't have wanted him to.
Shortly after Padme Amidala, the former Queen of Naboo, turned Senator for the Republic was returning to Coruscant for a vote. In the process she was nearly assassinated, which sent Obi-Wan and Anakin on their first mission apart; as Anakin was assigned to take Padme back to Naboo and protect her, while Obi-Wan was trusted to discover who was behind the plot against the Senator.
These events lead him to Kamino, where he had a brief duel with Jango Fett, the Template for an army of Clones related to the plot in some way. In his Pursuit he was lead to Geonosis, where he was captured upon landing. Anakin and Padme came to his rescue in a failed attempt to save him, before the rest of the Jedi, and eventually the Clone army in question arrived to finish the job in a battle that would become the first in the clone wars.
Shortly after this battle, Obi-Wan gained the rank of Jedi Master and was appointed on the council.
That is until he was a part of a battle in which he won, and afterwords discovered a strange anomaly outside the battle zone. Thinking it was a new weapon by the Separatists Obi-Wan moved to investigate it, only to re-appear some where totally different... and in a totally different time line.
400 years before anything he knew...
