Daniel was disappointed. He believed the lady thought Jedi Knights were rich people. Yet that was hardly the truth. To become a Jedi, one had to give up on many things from their lives. Getting involved in romantic relationships was one for a long while. Possessing valuables in big amounts was another. They had to have a secluded and mission focused life. They were like monks of the era.
It was true Daniel's parents were wealthy, yet they didn't pour money toward their son. Not only it was improper, Daniel never asked for it either. He didn't care for wealth or earthly possessions at all. His mind didn't lean that way, which probably made him a perfectly fitting choice for a Jedi Knight. The credits he brought along was funding from the Council. He also brought some of the credits he owned, yet it wasn't much. It certainly was nowhere the price Lady Isabela gave him.
Though, then there came some kind of deal from the host. He watched her with an examining expression, as Lady Isabela approached him with game cards. That made Daniel give a confused look and then he was looking down at his cloths. "I don't understand." He murmured, as he looked back at Lady Isabela. "My cloths are not that valuable." Perhaps, he was being too straight here in logic wise and not seeing the real intention of that proposal.

Isabela watched the look on Daniel’s face when she mention playing for the price. She knew he didn’t have much money, what Jedi really had much money; those people walked around in life with barely anything and no attachments. They really didn’t marry or have families, nor did they have much possessions. They went were they were told, lived were they were told to, and ate whatever was given to them. It was a life that Isabela couldn’t even see herself ever try to live, she loved her possession and comfortable life style too much. Maybe that was another reason why he interested her so much, he was so innocent in a way though she was sure he was just a wild beast waiting to be unleash.
“They have no real value that you see, but I on the other hand can see great value in having them.” Isabela stated with a smile as she shuffled the deck for a few moments watching him a little. It was funny to see that he wasn’t quiet getting the reason why she would take his clothing if he lost, but maybe that was a good thing after all it would make the game far more interesting.
Setting the cards down for a moment Isabela went over and picked up a small table, bringing to set in front of Daniel, then moving a chair to set across from him. “So do we have a deal, I win I take an article of your clothing, you win I lower the price.” She picked up the cards again, and shuffled once more as she sat down waiting for his answer.

No.
Lady Isabela's answer still made no sense to him. No matter how she tried to see his cloths as valuable items, they just were not. But if she was willing to accept them as a reason to make a gamble over dropping the price of the holocron, then he had to accept it. Though, there was the fact of him not being into card games. He had once read a book on basics, but never actually played it with anyone else before. Yet he still had the full confidence of knowing how it worked.
Still giving a slightly confused look, Daniel glanced at Lady Isabela and nodded. He was in for the game. "We have a deal." He said in a deep tone, blue eyes on the woman.
Though, he was not exactly calculating the possibility of having to walk back to his ship with no cloths and completely empty handed. He might not show it in his slightly puzzled face, but he had full confidence over winning a game he never played before.
All he had to do was counting the cards. It was going to be easy.

Those four little words; we have a deal; was enough to brighten the smile on Isabela’s face. It was clear still that Daniel had no idea what Isabela wanted to do with his clothing, and she wasn’t about to tell him. It was going to be fun to watch him strip away one item of clothing at a time until he lost everything to her. Yes she was so going to enjoy this little game, of course she was going to let him win a hand or two; after all where would the fun in it if she won all the time.
“Than let us play, the game is called wicked grace do you know it?” Isabela shuffled the cards some more, her eyes still on Daniel as she did so. After a few moments of shuffling she placed the cards before Daniel and waved a hand over them. “Would you care to shuffle now or just cut the deck.” Allowing him a chance to touch and feel the cards would give him the chance to know that the deck was not stacked in anyway. There many ways and reason to play this game, Isabela loved it because she was very good at it but it also gave her the chance to read people. Though in truth she used it to mostly get what she wanted.
