The winter of Zoist ravaged the mid-region for the last five months. It was seemingly unrelenting as most storms of Zoist seemed to do, yet the brutality of it's nature was only a small thing to what Zoist was hiding. Within a cave system that was void of force a great evil and darkness was hidden. A beast of darkness, rage, and great hate Quietly stirred in the dark force void.
Years had past for the noghri. It was what seemed like months but years had gone by since he had left the tombs of Korriban behind. Here he spent day upon day training and fighting stronger and stronger force powered beasts. All fell before him even the hssiss. Tho he was poisoned he was able by the force and a very long healing trance. He was able to drain the poison from his system but not before it left it's mark upon him. The poison set his system and his ability to hide with in the force to a greater extant to the point that he doesn't think of it anymore.
Now within a force dream he saw a darkness rising in the verse. Spots marked areas of the darkness and they grew some engulfing the verse and the light others being eaten by the light. From a outer rim an area Cho knew as the location of Zoist no darkness was seen yet a small bit of light came and landed upon the planet only to be snuffed out. Was it a natural beast of the planet or was it he himself, only he would find out.
Coming out of the force vision and meditative sleep he woke and rose. Gathering his sabers and gear he then made for the entrance of the void cave. Slowing in the shadow of the cave's mouth he saw another being just outside. From the look of the being it was a human Jedi. With utter silence Cho Wroth of the Sith emerged from the force void cave and struck down the Jedi in a single stroke. With a roar that exploded into the force Cho let loose his power. The ground sizzled and burned as force lighting dug into it. Ice covered trees snapped and fell as force tendrils writhed from his being. The beast of the force has awaken in the verse. May those that do so pray for a great darkness has started to move upon the verse.

Zoist was well out of the way for most of the Galaxy, few people finding good reason to come to such a world. Of course anyone well attuned to the force knew that it was a rare world that shared a strong connection to the force itself. Few worlds were known for such connections, and the ones that were already discovered were usually hidden away from the galaxy; with only a few exceptions such as Tython or Korriban. Other worlds such as Zoist, Dagobah or Yavin 4 however were hidden away by the Jedi; only select numbers knowing of said worlds. Fortunately for Jareth though he knew exactly where these worlds were, some of them being better known in his time, but for the most part it having been due to his extensive research about such things. He knew were major Force Juncture points were, some of them that the Jedi of this time didn't even know about. Such a juncture point could be disturbed or manipulated if done correctly, and Jareth believed that if one could tap into it... one might be able to achieve great feats through the force... training and concentration that would take years could be done in hours. Of course, never having been able to access one of these before Jareth had no way of actually testing this Hypothesis, though he wished to try now that he had some free time. He had taken a shuttle from the Sith temple and invited the two that he had come to trust in this timeline more then any others. Darth Revan himself and Quinn Leer, someone whom he saw a potential in. He had spent many hours in the Library at the Sith temple on Korriban, and had taken some of the books with him in order to use them as reference when he made it to these caves. No sooner then they had stepped onto the planet's surface though had there been a very clear and distinct sound in the force. Even Quinn who as of this time yet to learn how to tap into the force would be able to feel the ripples of something so powerful... at least Jareth believed as much. It seemed to have originated at the Cave points of the world, not far from where they had landed the shuttle. Once the physical shaking from the thunderclap-like pulse had subsided, Jareth spoke aloud for the first time in hours. "Interesting..." He admitted out loud, not even needing to ask if anyone else had felt it.

Ziost. He was here because of a holocron he had taken from the ruins of a Jedi temple on Tython. He had been there without his present company, and they did not know of the abomination that he had found there. It was the one piece of information he had decided not to give them. He had shared the information on Ziost with his apprentice and Quinn. The latter he needed to begin to teach how to at least protect herself. She had displayed her connection to the Force during their stay on Dathomir, but Revan had been busy since then. Revan had been impressed when he discovered that Jareth had already known of Ziost's location. The Sith Lord wanted to survey the planet before making an important decision. He had already shared this information with one other while he and Jareth had been on Tatooine. Revan needed to form an alliance powerful enough to permanently break off from the Sith Empire. He needed a place that both Sith and Jedi had no clue of. For him, the location so far seemed an ideal place to test the limits of one's powers. He could feel the connection to the planet before he had even stepped foot on its surface. The group had landed near some caves that were thought to be where the Force gathered on the planet. Revan would very likely search the caves to improve upon his lightsabers, and he hoped that he could also meditate to grow closer to the Force. He would invite Jareth and Quinn to do the same. In fact, as he thought it over he felt it to be an ideal first lesson for Quinn. She needed to learn patience, and this place would also likely allow for her to tap into her potential quickly. He did not have years to teach her the basics. She would have to learn at an accelerated rate, and he had faith in her. It was also the first time that the Sith Lord decided to walk around in the open without his mask on. " I will search the caves for crystals. I invite you to do so as well Jareth. Have you had any thought on constructing a new lightsaber of your own? Perhaps we can have Quinn take a crystal here as well. I think it best to teach her the old ways. We can also meditate while we are in there. I think it will allow Quinn to tap into the Force quickly." Cho Wroth Quinn Leer Jareth Sharl

Quinn had inadequately estimated just how complicated it would be to attach herself to the underbelly of Jareth and Revan. Back on Dathomir she had made the conscious decision to essentially become part of the Revan posse. Much to her surprise, doing so wasn't as difficult as she had thought as both men sort of just absorbed her into whatever sort of shenanigans they already had planned. The set up worked perfectly fine for Quinn seeing as how they at least kept her fed. That and Revan and Jareth weren't so bad themselves. And while Quinn's exposure to the Force and all things Jedi-Sith related had been minute up until that point, she understood that both men were powerful and thus good allies. Quinn definitely found that it was a fortunate situation to be in. More, if anyone was going to be able to figure out how to get home it would be these two.
Still, Quinn who was used to the moderate temperatures of Dantooine and Coruscant, was not pleased to find herself on an ice planet. Both Jareth and Revan seemed at ease about the temperature but she was not. She pulled her coat tightly around her body and hunched her shoulders against the breeze. The weather made her irritable and the only thing that made it worse was Jareth's enthusiasm for being there. He had told her why-- something about it being a powerful something about the Force something. And if Quinn was being honest she would have to admit that the planet made her feel...something. She wasn't exactly sure what it was or what to make of the feeling or even what to do with it but she decided that it was in her best interest to try and ignore it until one of the men offered to explain.
Not long after they landed on the planet something strange and alarming happened. Quinn suddenly felt as if she were hit with something powerful. It was loud and made her ears ring. Her eyes got wide with alarm and she looked between Revan and Jareth. "Interesting." Jareth was the only one to really show much of a reaction which was surprising seeing as how the sound probably should have been at least a little alarming to the two of them. She shot Jareth a frustrated look. "Interesting? That's it? What was that?!?" she snapped. Revan continued, unfazed by the sound.
"I will search the caves for crystals. I invite you to do so as well Jareth. Have you had any thought on constructing a new lightsaber of your own? Perhaps we can have Quinn take a crystal here as well. I think it best to teach her the old ways. We can also meditate while we are in there. I think it will allow Quinn to tap into the Force quickly." Revan's words quickly pulled her attention away from the concerning sound. It was true that he had told her that he intended to teach her a thing or two about the Force, things she could use to defend herself. Thus-far neither one of them had taken the time to sit down and have a proper lesson. Maybe she should have payed closer attention to Jareth's explanation about the planet. Talk of crystals though, made her perk up. Was he talking about what she thought he was talking about? However, her excitement was curved by the thought of whatever had made that sound. "Wait, we're going towards the thing that made that sound?"

The kill was too quick for Cho but the Jedi was newly knighted as he could feel in the force. Still Cho could feel signatures in the force coming near to the planet. Slowly he let himself slip back under the cover of the surrounding force signature. They were still in high orbit and coming closer as his feelings in the force was still tender coming out of the force void.
Getting a bit of higher ground he watched as the ship fly in low over the icy jungle. He was down wind of the ship. All the smells of the ship wafted down to him, but yet he could not get the full scent. Moving through the icy jungle Cho was able to get with in 100 yards. From this distance he could get the scent of the three. Two of them were younger ones. The other one was a bit older and had that smell of death about him.
Cho couldn't tell what they were talking about but the hand gestures toward the caves gave him all the info he needed. Slowly backing up and working around them back toward the caves Cho hurried. The signatures from earlier were dark one more than the others but still the noghri could smell trouble. Any and every Sith had given him trouble for as long as he could remember. Entering the void portions of the cave systems he lost the force signatures. He didn't need the force to tell him when they entered the caves the drift of their scent would be all that he would need.
As he moved deeper the Sith hounds were uneasy churbling and yipping. They could smell and had felt them when they had left the void pockets. The adult Sith hounds would sleep in the voids while one or two would guard certain tunnels and bark to alert them of intruders. Now though they were all silent as they awaited Cho arrival. Coming into a main den he carfted a command to tell them to leave to other caves and places of safety. Wroth watched them leave with the young and only two stayed behind to watch over him from the shadows.
As new air stirred in the room he could smell then coming closer he turned to head back to a section of caves that had multiple branches to dead ends and other deeper caves. Cho was only going to let them reach the crystal rooms. Though he knew of better crystals near the very bottom of the caves but if they insisted on those he would give them the right path. Why would you say? It was because down there were the Hssiss or what was left of them. They had an under standing with each other. They would not come up and he would not wipe the from the verse.
So in an upper tunnel of the main crystal deposits he sat and sniffed the air taking note how close they were getting. Hunched like a gargoyle looking down into the room the noghri sat waiting and watching.

He turned then back to his book, marking a few more notes down on a data pad he had at his side. He wanted to be thorough with this search, and to make sure he got every possible detail concerning the tempered force spots on the dark world of Ziost. If they could be used like Jareth expected, then they had to be used properly. If not, then the force might overwhelm the user, driving them mad with the pure connection to the force any of the wells could produce. And that was only one of the possibilities out of many others he could potentially see.
With Revan wanting to build the temples here, that made it all the more important that Jareth make sure his every calculation was correct. After only a few seconds he was hearing Quinn speak again in reference to his own lack of enthusiasm to the otherwise obvious and seemingly unexplained occurrence. He could hear her speaking her concern, only arching his brow with a small grin in her direction before he shrugged a bit, saying nothing more even still as she had tried to goad him.
Before either of them would speak, either to answer her concerns about the thunderclap like sound that had been heard from the caves, Revan spoke aloud. He was un-phased by all of this, and simply spoke his plans, that he would be going to the caves for more crystals and meditation. Jareth arched his brow at the comment though. Upon his first meeting with the man, he had known that Revan had been working on his next lightsaber... so the question was... why did he need more crystals? With that Quinn spoke up, even more concern and shock in her voice as she asked about the caves. Jareth looked to her for a moment, smirking a bit as he hit the realization. The crystal wasn't for Revan... but for Quinn.
He shook his head at Revan's question. "Oh no, i have plenty of spare crystals... i collect many more you would consider me a hoarder. As it is... it's not easy to wield two of these..." Jareth commented, pointing to the pike that hovered away from the wall and into his hand now. He slid it onto the holster he kept on his back before he was moving to head to the docking ramp, closing the book and powering the data pad down before he was speaking in addition. "I believe it would be educational for me to see the caves though." He commented with a small smile on his face, glancing over his shoulder at Quinn, suspecting she might come.... otherwise she would be staying in the creepy ship all alone...

"This doesn't feel as if it were up for me to decide. More than likely this was fated, and we are merely along for the ride. The harshness of this planet...perhaps the universe aims to conspire to see if we have what it takes to survive. I do not know what it is about this place, but I am sure that the Force led me to the both of you. Our destinies are now tied. Do not fear this place. Do not fear where we are headed. Simply do not fear. If you do, you must learn to overcome it. No Jareth, the crystal is really meant for Quinn. I am sure you know of the test required to become a Padawan...she has no prior training, but I think she will learn a lot about herself during this particular series of exercises. Besides, I need a new focusing crystal.
As he continued walking he could spot a body ahead. He could have stopped, but he felt Quinn would need to be subjected to this again. Life had very grim realities, and loss was among the greatest of these. Still, Revan would do some investigating. For one, as the group neared the cave, the body was smoking. There was no way that was possible as a natural occurrence of Ziost. The cold was barely bearable, and there had been a sound like the crack of thunder earlier. He hadn't been fazed, probably only because of his tendency to drown almost everything out while deep in thought. So, either Ziost had freak lightning storms or the body was destroyed by the dark side of the Force.
"Jareth, what do you think? It looks like lightning conjured up by the Force to me."

It was clear that Jareth thought that Quinn was being a baby but quite frankly Quinn did not care in the slightest. Above all she was concerned about her own survival and following the noise to the cave was not conducive to that. However, both Jareth and Revan made it abundantly clear that there wasn't much of a choice to be had in the matter. Somehow Quinn suspected that staying in the ship alone was also not conducive to survival. Quinn watched Jareth's face closely, not appreciating at all how he always smirked at her. In response to his smirk she shot him her own look of displeasure. Though, her focus on Jareth lasted all of a few moments since Revan spoke up again.
At first it was something about how their destinies were now linked. Quinn had never been the spiritual type, so the talk of destiny was not something she took to heart. The only destiny she trusted in was the one written into her DNA, the one that had played out with her mother and her mother's mother. That was the only future she could see for herself and it was fixed regardless of what happened between now and then. Since it was fixed Quinn didn't mind doing whatever she wanted until destiny called. Though talks of crystals broke her of that cynical line of thought. "...No Jareth, the crystal is really meant for Quinn. I am sure you know of the test required to become a Padawan...she has no prior training, but I think she will learn a lot about herself during this particular series of exercises. Besides, I need a new focusing crystal. " Her eyes widened and she hurried to catch up to them as they ventured closer to the creepy caves. "Wait, what? A crystal? Is that for what I think it's for? What tests?" the questions tumbled out of her mouth up until they reached a body of a freshly crisped human. Quinn stared at the body blankly. She'd seen death before and the condition of the body didn't particularly bother her. If anything it sort of looked like the burnt meat her cousin would serve to their customers. "Force lightning, eh?" Quinn smiled slightly. "Can you two do that?"

Cho stayed perched like a gargoyle as Sith hounds slowly moved around the crystal hall. The scent was getting closer to them as the air filtered down the tunnels. Flexing his fingers like claws of a sith hound Cho's hunger grew. The death of the young Jedi was not enough to sate him want to kill. He now know he should have delayed the death of the jedi for but a bit longer but any lingering light on Zoist was always getting eaten up by the darkness eventually.
Calm my Brothers. Let them come to us. They seek the stone around you. We shall test them to see whether they are worthy of what Zoist has grown for those of the planet.
Wroth checked his sabers and felt there presence in the force. The hard won crystals from the hssiss held caves echoed their hunger. He hungered for battle and death but a sense he got from them that they would give him the fight he wanted. So the churble from him to the Sith hounds gave them the command to move the cave's mouth and maneuver them to him and the crystal cave hall.

Jareth continued to march down the ramp with a bit of a smirk on his face as it appeared that Quinn got the sense of what he was saying, it becoming clear to her that she was better off joining the two of them on this little venture instead of sticking around in the ship. Perhaps it was what Revan was enticing her with as well... a crystal for a lightsaber. Jareth only arched his brow at the notion. Quinn seemed a bit too young for a saber in Jareth's opinion. Or not so much young as much as the fact that she was just now learning to even remotely touch the force, let alone control it. He doubted she was anywhere near ready to wield a blade, but it wasn't really his choice, as Revan was the one who was giving her her formal training... as much of it as he was anyway.
They soon continued out into the wildlife of the world... or what passed for it anyway. It was bitterly cold, as if the planet was trying to tell people to stay away from it. Jareth's coat was layered thicker then usual, and buttoned down in the front to keep the cold off. It had a heavy insulated collar as well, that kept the warmth in around his neck. As he moved he pulled up a cowl that covered his nose down, keeping that warm as well.
They marched through the cover and snow before eventually coming across a body, still warm with smoke rising from it and singe marks around the edges. The smell of burnt flesh even leaked through the cloth on Jareth's face, making him contort his face at the stench, but he knelt down beside it anyway, leaving his pike on his back before he moved his coat out of the way as he knelt. He didn't even have to look hard to find out what had happened, nodding in agreement to Revan's question. "Yes... and i'm sure you know what that means." Jareth spoke, more a statement then a question as he looked around cautiously, not feeling the presence in the force that must have been responsible for this. After a minute Quinn spoke up and asked her question, Jareth arching his brow a bit as he looked up to her. She couldn't see it past his cowl, but he was smirking a bit, as if she needed to even ask the question.
Instead of saying anything though he just took the saber off of the Jedi's belt and stood again sighing lightly. "We should tread with caution from this point on." He commented, looking around once more, just to make sure something wasn't near by.

"Quinn, it is something I can do. I don't usually resort to this. It has some nasty drawbacks. Jareth, be ready. We may have to protect Quinn from whatever lies ahead."
The dark side here was stronger than anything he could have fathomed. Revan let out a deep breath before slipping on his mask. Whatever this was, he was likely going to have to give into his darker nature to aid his allies. That also meant that Quinn could be in real danger. If only he had had more time to train her. He wanted to oversee all of her training, but he had a lot on his plate. At the rate this was going, he would more than likely have to pass off much of the responsibility of Quinn to Jareth.
"Jareth, I am going to have to ask a favor of you. It was foolish of me to think that I could oversee the majority of Quinn's training. I have been thrown into something grander than I can explain. So, for the time being, I am handing over the responsibility of training Quinn to you. Make sure that you train her properly. After she takes her crystal, you will be the judge of when she constructs her first lightsaber."
The cold began to cut through his clothing. The longer they stood there, the more exposed they would be. Revan motioned for the group to enter the cave. As he entered, the feeling he got here was nothing like the one on Dathomir. This place was much more hostile, more wild. The former Jedi readied himself for all possibilities as he spotted a vein alongside the wall, and began traveling deeper into the abyss.

The charred body seemed to worry Revan and Jareth more than it had Quinn, at least initially. Not to say she wasn't worried, because she was. But the entire planet had her on edge. All of her senses felt heightened. It was possibly the most bazaar feeling she had ever experienced. Perhaps this was the Force thing that the other two talked about all the time. Quinn watced Jareth turn towards her, and while she could not see anything but his eyes she go the sense that he could in fact zap people like that. Perhaps a trick he could teach her some time. Certainly there were moments when Tannon needed a good zap. Revan added something about needed to protect her. And while Quinn didn't disagree, it annoyed her to a certain extent that she needed to rely on Jareth and Revan for protection. In her own time she worked for Carmilla and had faced dangers but always came out of it fine. However, facing whatever sort of weird magic had her completely out of her element.
Then came the surprise. Revan wasn't going to be her teacher, but rather Jareth would. Quinn's eyes turned to Jareth. Quinn knew she was in good hands with Jareth. That and maybe she could convince him to teach her how to use that intersting pike weapon he had used on Dathomir. Quinn smiled at the new development. There were worse people she could be paired up with. Not only that but at some point she would get to build a lightsaber! Quinn stayed close to Jareth as the group made their way into the caves. Quinn stayed silent, her eyes darting around, looking for whatever was going to pop out and try to kill them next...

Seeing nothing at the moment; though Jareth really didn't expect he would given the circumstances he sighed and moved to his feet, clasping his hands together a little as he began walking once more next to Revan. He stood a few feet behind the man though as they walked, letting Revan lead as he certainly was the superior of the group. Quinn on the other hand walked next to Jareth at a comfortable distance the three of them walking in silence before Revan spoke up specifically to Jareth.
He arched his brow a bit, curious as to what it was Revan might be thinking. Jareth had been thinking specifically about the current situation that faced them, so he was a little surprised when his attention was brought to a different subject entirely... Quinn. He ruffled his brows a little, looking over his shoulder and to her as he continued to walk with the both of them. When it became obvious what he was trying to get at though, Jareth had to admit he was more then just a little surprised.
Jareth wasn't the teacher type for one... and though he had to admit he was somewhat fond of Quinn and worked well with her, he didn't think passing her training onto him was the wisest of all plans. Jareth focused on teaching himself first and foremost. It was why he sought knowledge, as he was well aware that with knowledge came power. Unlike most Sith that sought power and no knowledge. Quinn didn't seem like the person who could relate to him in this way. She was distant, and didn't seem to have an interest in relics, runes, and tombs like Jareth did. The only things that peeked her interest, as far as Jareth was aware, was the force it self, and though that was a start, he wasn't sure it was something he could work with. Blazes, the only reason she came along this time seemed to be for a crystal and because if she didn't she would have been left in the ship.
Still, he wasn't in a position to refuse Revan at the moment, so he simply nodded in agreement. Perhaps this is why there was always only one apprentice and one master...
"I shall do my best, Revan." He said, his tone honest and with a promise. He for one thing didn't wish harm on either of the two people besides himself in the group. Both Revan and Quinn had proven to be allies. That didn't mean however, that he was eager to teach her anything.

Chirps and warbles echoed down the tunnels as the Sith hounds moved closer to the mouth of the tunnel. Breathing deeply the noghri took in the air and tasted each tone. Sweet and bitter just like the blood that held the building blocks of life. Time ticked by as the sith listened to the hounds communicate.
They were stalking the other Sith and were finding they did not like them. When a sith hound did not like you then you were then considered prey. When that happens nothing short of their death would stop them. Warble and clacking from Cho eased the tension of the hounds. He in effect told them they were his toys.
As he sat on the high ledge in the crystal cavern he listened to the void bubble. The void bubble ones would think would be totally quiet but in the silence if you know what to look for there is noise. In that noise he could hear the force user's movements. Still they were slow moving his previous force use had made an impact upon these new comers. With out knowing who or why Cho Wroth stayed calm but ready to attack. The sith temples had pushed him out for him being to dark and wild. He had cooled his wild streak but the darkness had only grew. Would these too push him away or try to kill him for his darkness.

Jareth continued to walk with the rest of the group, eventually leading up to the crystal cave at a slow and steady pace. He reached outward, feeling the force bubble in the center of it as he paused just at the edge of the cave's mouth. He glanced around again, quite sure they were walking into a trap... at least logically something must have been here to kill that Jedi and cause the thunder claps. His knowledge of all force wielding Animals told him that there wasn't any animal, force sensitive or not, that would be capable to doing such a thing to that Jedi with Force lightning, which limited this to another sentient being.
Still despite everything he was unable to see anything, or anyone that would tip him off to another presence around them. He sighed lightly, turning his head over his shoulder in order to speak to the other two with him. "This could be a lair... tread carefully." He warned them, letting Revan take the lead once more from when he had moved upwards to investigate the cave.
