It was about midday, and the morning winds of Dantooine had finally died down. A lone man stood near a tree on the back side of the newly re-instituted Jedi enclave. It wasn't unusual for civilians to be found near the enclave. In fact, it was welcomed. The man stood tall in tan and brown work clothes, and could been seen tampering with a comlink. The man seemed a bit puzzled, and more than once he could be seen banging on the device and scratching the back of his head. He eventually gave up, and sat on a bench near the tree. From there, it wasn't long before he fell asleep. People passed him by, and pointed. Sometimes people chuckled, and others hurried by. Though there was a Jedi enclave nearby, it didn't mean that evil did not exist on the planet. In fact, legend told of cave that could enthrall anyone with the absolute power of the dark side. Of course, in all likelihood such tales were genuinely just legends.
Sometime had passed before the man woke up. Looking at another device he had on his person, he found out that he had been asleep for several hours. He quickly stood up, and stretched. Afterwards, he put the device back in a pack that he had with him and checked to see if his comlink was working. He could only hear static over the device, so he decided to put it into his back as well. He then slung the pack over both of his shoulders and began to head out.
"Man, this sucks. I would be the one that has to investigate this. This planet is in the boondocks. There are far better planets in the Outer Rim than this. I'm going to a cantina after I report back."

Unlike many Jedi, Jack always kept her ear to the ground. She was not one to sit in the Jedi Temple pretending nothing else was happening in the world, and she found the small town of farmers nearby to be a good place to pick up on the most recent gossip and rumors. After having finished with her studies, the Padawan set off into the very town to see what was going on in the world.
It was a beautiful day; the air was crisp and clean, unlike the polluted air of Coruscant's slums. If only Nicky could see this; he would have loved it.
Jack poked around and dug up for information; the settlers were used to her by this point, and liked her enough to talk about their recent problems. People talked to Jack a lot. She listened. Today the rumor circulating was of a stranger near the Jedi Enclave. Circling back to the main gates, it didn't take Jack long to spot the outsider, stretching and slinging a pack over his shoulder.
"Can I help you?" she said, approaching him.

"Oh, yeah, hey! Okay..."
He chuckled for a little bit before truly turning his attention towards her. When he began to focus on her features he was surprised. Before him stood this woman that he could only describe as beautiful. It was probably the best thing that had happened to him since he landed on the planet. He took out a hologram badge and showed it to her. It indicated that he was a detective that worked for the Republic. After figuring that she had to have taken in the information, he put it away.
"The name is Detective Rainlast. Lee Rainlast. There has been an unusual anomaly that has occurred throughout the galaxy. I am one of the many detectives that have been called to work on the case. Supposedly, there have been rumors of a time flux. From what we have gathered, the flux originated somewhere in the outer rim. We aren't so much concerned about the flux as we are to what implications it has brought along with it. Supposedly, and I don't know if I should be sharing this or believe it myself, but people from different ages have all gathered here. Crazy, right? I figured that the Jedi would have more insight on this. I can't seem to get any of them to talk to me though. Also, my comlink is busted, so I can't report back to the officer in charge."
He smiled as he finished talking. It was nice to be able to talk to someone. He stretched a little bit while he awaited her response. The day was definitely getting brighter. What was it about this interaction? He had interacted with others here, and they simply did not have her pull. For whatever reason, she was magnetic. However, the extent of her allure remained to be seen.

The man looked at Jack, grinning in a way she hadn't been grinned at since leaving Coruscant. He seemed to be a little better behaved than some, though, as he didn't further any attempts, instead holding out a hologram with a badge. Her eyes scanned the details; for all intents and purposes, it seemed legitimate. On the other hand, technology didn't make it very hard to fake credentials of any kind; Jack would know, she'd done it herself before. The key was being able to identify it.
Still, Jack relaxed slightly as he pocketed the holocron and introduced himself by name. "Time flux?" she asked curiously. Master Obi-Wan was apparently from a different time; that's what he said. It was surprising the council had been so willing to apprentice her to a stranger claiming to be a Jedi but not one anyone was familiar with. The situation would have been worse if Jack didn't actually like Obi-Wan, but he seemed as good a Master as any.
The stranger had finished explaining his predicament at this point, and Jack had listened attentively, chewing her lip thoughtfully and watching him with startling green eyes. "Well, I might be able to help you get a working comlink, and as for the investigations... what led you to Dantooine?" As she spoke, she started to move forward, pulling off her long hooded cloak and slinging it over her arm; it was too warm for it.

" Yeah, a time flux. A time flux is a phenomena that can occur at any given space. A time flux allows for multiple times to exist within a single given space. As I have explained before, I am here because we believe that the time flux originated somewhere in the outer rim. Hey, aren't you a Jedi? I thought Jedi were supposed to pay attention to all things. So how about it Master Jedi, do you know anything of this time flux?" He was of course teasing her. Revan was no stranger to seeing how far he could push something. He was intrigued by how she would respond. Of course, he hoped that she wouldn't easily let what he was saying get beneath her skin. He even hoped that she would respond with some wit of her own. He could see that she was deep within her own thoughts. Revan knew a great deal about people, and he was deeply connected with the Force. As such, he could tell that she knew something. The Sith Lord would not probe into such matters though. From what he could tell, the Jedi knew relatively next to nothing. So, they would not get in his way. At that point, he knew of only one other place where the time flux could have originated, and he would be the only one with the fortitude to go there. The call didn't even matter at this point. Revan again smiled when he saw her bite her lip, and looked up at him with her radiant green eyes. It was then that he decided that he would do whatever it took to make sure that this was not the last time he ever saw her. When she finally spoke again, he was a it surprised. He paused momentarily before deciding to speak. " Haha! Again, pay attention. I do know a thing or two about the Jedi. Dantooine is one of the planets that have a peculiar energy right now. There are several other planets on the list. Of those, the most peculiar come from Dantooine, Mustafar, Tatooine, and Hoth. Whoa, hey! Are Jedi supposed to remove their robes?" He laughed. Revan pulled a cantina off of his belt, unfastened the cap, and drank from its contents. When he was finished, he offered her the cantina. It was more than a gesture. He genuinely hoped that she would take it. If not, it was understood. After all, the two had just met. Still, her magnetism was as true as he thought it was. " So, are you going to tell me your name? I have to tell the Jedi Council that you have been a most gracious host this afternoon." @jack Quinn Leer Jareth Sharl

It had only been a few days after they had left Dathomir together, Jareth having joined up with Darth Revan himself and the girl called Quinn who had been caught in the time slip like the rest of them. Revan had something to do throughout the planet of Dantooine now, besides just keeping to the promise of taking Quinn to the world like she had wanted. If Jareth knew anything, it was that she didn't care where they went now sense it was obvious her family wasn't on Dantooine; nor would anyone from her family be on the planet for the next 4000 some years.
Jareth had no where pressing to be at the moment either, and after he had cleaned himself up and shaved again after he had been in the jungles for so long, he had been tasked with keeping his eyes on Quinn for the rest of the time there. Revan had been gone for several long hours now, Jareth having taken Quinn into one of the towns to get her leg injury; something she had sustained back during her Ship's crashing on Dathomir. Revan had tended to it right away, and Jareth had done what meditative healing he could to it, but it was still in need of a full healing... at the very least is wasn't infected.
Taking her to one of the small towns in order to get the required medical attention gave Jareth and her something to do, Jareth having his lightsaber hidden away on his belt and using his pike freely as a walking stick. There were Jedi running around freely on the planet, and Jareth was constantly masking his presence in the force so as to keep them from seeing him... and though he could no doubt pass as a Jedi with his lightsaber, he didn't want to risk anything and ruin whatever it was Revan was in the middle of. He was also using an illusion to change his appearance some, keeping his raggedy clothes that he hadn't yet been able to change since Dathomir from sticking out too much.
Currently she was in the back room of the small clinic, having her leg tended to while Jareth remained in the lobby and waiting area. After a moment he was called back when she was ready, standing as he walked down the halls to the appropriate room and opening it, seeing her sitting on the edge of the bed, the doctor leaving the room at the same moment after giving her something for the pain of the operation she had just been through.

The days since leaving Dathomir had been fairly unpleasant for Quinn. Nearly from the moment they touched down on her homeworld she was in the hospital. Quinn hated doctors and she hated hospitals even more. Spending a couple of days in one with no other company other than Jareth and doctors was not her idea of a good time. The first day she was there they had preformed surgery on her leg, which only added to how unenjoyable her homecoming was. While Revan and Jareth's initial first aid and healing had helped stop the bleeding and prevent infection the wound from the crash had gone deeper than Quinn initially anticipated. Surgery was required to mend the muscle in her leg as well as get the smaller metal fragments still left in the wound out. They had also stitched up the cut on the side of her head and bandaged her palms. The doctors all said she was lucky. Lucky to be alive and lucky that she hadn't broken any bones, only gotten banged up. However, Quinn didn't feel lucky with ho much they were poking and probing her. That and they didn't know she was from the future. Yeah, Quinn did not feel lucky.
On the day she was to be released she was feeling much better than she had in days. Between the different treatments and medicine, the pain from her leg was less severe. She could walk unaided for the most part. The doctor strongly encouraged her to rest the leg as much as possible and to not re-injure it. Unlike Jareth, Quinn had not been given the option to disguise herself and the damage the ordeal on Dathomir had done to her. The clothes she had on hand were the torn up and bloody ones. She was in the process of dressing when one of the nurses entered the room with discharge papers and a bundle of cloth under her arm. Quinn had dealt with two nurses during her stay at the hospital. The cute Twi'lek boy and the female nurse who had a holier-than-thou attitude about her. Quinn hated her. "Hope you are feeling better, deary," the woman said in a sugary voice that made Quinn want to be sick. "I just need you to sign these forms. And I brought you some clothes-- I donated them...you seemed like you needed the charity, honey." The woman patted Quinn's cheek lovingly and it was all she could do to not rip the woman's arm off. She looked down at the charity garb and grimaced. It looked like the kind of clothes not even charity would want. Without so much as a thank you Quinn signed the form. The lack of humility and gratitude clearly upset the woman as she left the room with the data pad and a different attitude than when she had come in with.
Once dressed in the ill fitting and unflattering (but clean) clothes Quinn walked out to the waiting room where Jareth was waiting for her. Never had she been more happy to see someone who was neither her friend nor family before. She approached him. "Please tell me you're here to get me the hell out of here," she whispered to Jareth in an almost desperate tone. Quinn smiled her crocked smile at the older man. She knew better than to ask about Revan and what all he had been up to in the waiting room. However, before she could leave the other nurse approached her. He was tall, green, and handsome. She patted Quinn on the shoulder and handed her a bottle of medicine. "Almost left this," he teased her. Quinn smiled at him, turning away from Jareth. She glanced down at the prescription and smiled again. "Oh, you got me the good stuff," she grinned. "Of course I did, you're my favorite patient." The two shared a lingering look before he put his hand up to wave at Jareth. "Rest that leg, don't want to see you in here again." "Yeah you do," Quinn teased before he left to go back to work. She turned back around to face Jareth, smiling to herself, quite proud that she'd been able to flirt her way into a very nice pain medication prescription. "Alright now we can go."
